Hello fog lovers and sniffers, I think I may be playing a bit too much Dead by Daylight. I don't even particularly enjoy it. On the fun/enjoyment/self fulfillment/enlightment scale it's only scoring about a 2 and a half. And yet I keep playing. My experience with this event has been awful the last few days. I main survivor, and pretty much more than half of my games have involved killers going out of their way to play nasty for no reason other than spite. Bubbas burning brown offerings and facecamping from the get go, survivors being hard tunnelled out from the beginning of the match, etc. I've been slugged to death four times now for93 comments 2,982 views last activity

Throwing my proverbial hat in the ring here. I've seen many arguments state that the only way to play SM optimally is to prioritise 3 genning - essentially picking three gens that are close together and patrolling those three while planting drones on them consistently - this is from the very beginning of the match. Today I've booted up the game and queued into killer with Deathslinger no problems. Then randomly after I reel someone in around five minutes in my game (on Dead Dawg) full on crashes and I'm kicked off the game entirely. n I chalked this up to be a random crash and rebooted and played a game of Sadako on Red Forest. I've only ever played DBD on console. Recently I've been put in a situation where I'll be away from my Playstation for some time. I have a decent laptop that I'm sure could run DBD on half decent settings and a plug in mouse. A friend has told me to get the PC version so it looks like I am begrudgingly. I'm biast in this response but I have to say Deathslinger. His music is just such a jam. Really makes me come alive in the chase when I'm playing him or against him. The aesthetic is on point too. I would give a runners up to Dredge for similar reasons. It's really fast and tense and adequately fits the image of some giant eldritch abomination of hacked up limbs slithering towards you. I'm wondering if this is just me because I'm genuinely convinced I'm insane. I play this game nearly every day when I have free time. Whenever I play it with friends or stream it I must sound miserable. I feel dejected and pessimistic about most matches as soon as they start. I personally think survivor needs some QoL basekit updates to improve the survivor experience much as killer got some much welcomed changes to improve theirs. For example, a basekit Kindred and an ability to view each other's loadouts before the match begins to improve coordination and strategy amongst survivors that cannot communicate. I'm not sure what the community's personal experience with the update has been, but mine has been awful. As someone who enjoys running off-meta builds I was excited to experiment with the new survivor perks that had been buffed with this update. Hi, average maybe slightly below average survivor main here. I've found that consistently when I verse Spirits I have no idea what I'm really doing and run around like a headless chicken whenever they pull out their vacuum cleaner and phase which leads to me being on the floor 90% of the time. The Bloodhunt today is supposed to 'double your bloodpoints' at the end of the trial. Is this the equivalent of throwing in an extra set of streamers (an extra 100%) that applies to the points you earned during the match or does it double your total BP after flans and that have been calculated (so you end with 150k, and the Bloodhunt doubles it to 300k). We all know that Thanataphobia is already a must for Legion and that Legion as it stands isn't exactly the most invigorating killer to face. As much as I love having to mend for five minutes every match, I don't want to spend half an hour repairing gens because Thana now slows the speeds by 22% and gens take ten seconds longer to repair. I am playing on PS4. I loaded into a game on Shelter Woods vs a Blight. The very second the match started, I had a greatly increased movement speed, as if I had permanent sprint burst. A speed boost was still applied for when I would walk or crouch as well, like if you started walking mid sprint burst. It was literally impossible for the killer to catch me if I was sprinting, and I also suffered0 comments 21 views last activity

I just had a match on Shelter Woods vs a Blight. Only problem was that the second the match started, my Laurie was moving insanely fast. We're talking at least sprint burst speed, permanently, regardless if I was walking or sprinting. I felt like I was chasing the killer more than he was chasing me. Was thinking about this and if rituals were to reward you fragments it would help reduce the grind of the rift by a fair bit (I know for the 2nd rift I really struggled to complete it because I took a break for a few weeks and had to buy the last six tiers) whilst also encouraging players to log on daily and play so they don't miss out on any new rituals.
