Is it just me or are survivors DC'ing a lot more often? Maybe it's because I just haven't been going against the right people but survivors DC over everything now. I just had a match as Wesker where a survivor DC'ed because I found them with Lethal? Can I not use perks anymore? Does anybody else think trickster is a very poorly designed killer? Well the patch is out, which means Dead Hard and a lot of other perks have been "reworked". Dead Hard now works like the Styptic Agent but alot shorter. New(ish) Chapter, new perks. Darkness Revealed is basically just: You open a locker and you see the survivor's auras, if they're close enough to you, that is. Personally, I think this perk is actually somewhat decent, and could be a substitute for Lethal Pursuer, and in some ways even better than Lethal Pursuer. Opinions? Yippee, new perks new discussions. Floods of Rage is a new Scourge Hook perk introduced in the lastest chapter PTB, featuring Ringu. If you don't know what it does, it's basically a BBQ that works late. When a survivor is unhooked (from a scourge hook) all survivor auras are revealed to you for a few seconds. Now, we all know what these are, they're just hexes but for survivors, but are they stronger? While it is true that killers can effectively snuff out blessing, the survivors can just rebless it. Now, I haven't got a chance to play around with these boons but from what i can see, I think after the killer removes a blessing from a boon totem, the totem should BREAK. Deja Vu is a fairly simple perk. You see the aura of the 3 gens closest to eachother for a short amount of time. Seriously, it's really annoying when you cross the damn map to kick a gen and all the survivor has to do is tap it once just for the regression to stop. Kicking a gen takes like 2 seconds while tapping a gen doesn't even take a full second, while still countering one of the main things that a killer can do. I personally think that Monstrous Shrine is unhealthy as it basically promotes killers not to only hook in the basement but to also the hook, along with perks like insidious, this could have the potential to turn the game around because of, you guessed it, camping the basement with a killer like bubba. Spirit is a real problem in the sense that it's just too easy to win as her.
