  • I know that every p100 blight main in the universe was crying their heart out when it went to the ptb. And maybe it was not balanced well enough. But due to aggressive tunneling everyone I know from a group of 15 people have quitted dbd forever in a period of 12 months. I took a lot of breaks too but I am now the only one who even occasionally comes back to see whats new. And by that I mean I

  • I had my fair share with the game and it once was my favourite game. Now I'm just getting annoyed thinking about playing it, yet I would love to, if it wasn't for the circumstances the game is in. While some of the struggles of the game have improved, the community has not. When did we took the turn from fun games, intense games or being able to make a mistake without loosing the entire match t

  • While the ghoul can comfortly camp a hook across the map there are also other killers who are concerning. If Letherface facecamps you, you don't make enough distance after unhooking before you get 2 tapped by the chainsaw. If pinhead chains you up, you have a familiar result. I just had a hag facecamping and then used all her traps around the hook so the survivor could not get away safely. Th

  • I haven't tried it yet but I wanted to try something new but that would require me to buy a character in the shop. So I was wondering what would happen if I try this in the ptb. Does it work and get transfered to the main game or does it blow up?

  • Seeing the prestige of the survivor doesn't really indicate how long this player has been playing or how much experience that players has. I think it would be nice to see the devotion of the player to get an actual understanding how long the people you played with have played dbd. Also devotion feels like a forgotten thing and this way it would get a spotlight again.

  • Over time and prestige you farm a ton of add-ons you don't need. I have like 2000 brown add-ons each. There is no way that I will ever be getting close to use them. I think it would be neat if we could "forge" add-ons. In exchange for idk 20 brown add-ons you get one yellow, for 20 yellow one purple and for 20 purple one iri. Basically recycling add-ons you don't need or want. Bloodpoints

  • SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When the Killer plays The Ghould with the Add-On that survivors scream when another survivor gets hooked. That survivor even screams if he is inside a locker

  • There are a few key issues with this killer: 1. Mobility around hooks: I have never seen that many campers since the facecamper Bubba ages. With his leaps the Ghoul can interrupt any unhook easily without loosing too much pressure. His power should not work without downside around hooks. The dredge for example get's a short cooldown when using the remnant around hooks and can't enter lockers b

  • I don't want to insult the dev's but the fact that a player can disable the hook mechanic, clip through pallets and increase the speed he runs at to a laughable level really rises the question how that can happen without the game noticing. I just played against a cheater who did this so extremly obvious that even other survivors were catching up on it. Of course I recorded and reported him but i

  • Boon: Illumination does pretty much exactly that for survivors so I think it shouldn't be that hard to implement. The point is that some players including myself do have a hard time to see the difference between auras of survivors and Generators because of either an eye condition, bad screens, sunlight on the screen or tired eyes. Most of the time a survivors works on a generator while (for

  • SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When I tested the new Perk Jagged Compas I realized quickly that sometimes a Pain Res token is consumed but no generator is highlighted on the map. Just for it to complete a few seconds later. I don't know why this happens or how to reproduce it but it happened a few times now. The more concerning issue is, that if the generator is highlighted, it turns red again the se

  • Yesterday I was in a lobby with very chatty survs and they talked about how they started to avoid people from Russia, Ukraine, Kazachstan, China and sometimes France. I would never support such a thing in real life but when it comes to gaming … let's say people from these countries have a history/stereotype on them for cheating and being toxic/salty for 20 years now. Dbd is not different fro

  • I appreciate the change to make them brown offerings. But for some reason they still don't appear very often in the bloodweb. Sometimes I level 10 levels without seeing one. It still feels like they are not as common as other brown offerings. I did prestige 10 times since the change but I am constantly out of sac wards. Im just so tired of Eyrie of sweat, sweat milan or sweathaven. I haven't

  • I might be wrong about this because it has been a while since playing survivor on that map but from my understanding you can get hit while using a portal. You can even get grabbed. While playing killer today and yesterday (and my ping was pretty good) I was never able to hit survivors in the animiation of the portal. Grabbing wasn't a thing either. So everytime a survivor used a portal I could

  • SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When playing dredge half the matches I can't see anything when inside a locker. • Now I feel like a post of this kind happens every week but even though bhvr assures to take steps against cheaters. It doesn't really feel like its changing a lot. In the past two days I noticed a lot of players running hyperfocus again (without stakeout) and gens were flying faster then the NASA X-43. Matches like this only lastet a few minutes. On top of that these survivors often won eve

  • The question if dbd is comp or casual is never answered. But if you need a bigger sign that something is meant to be casual then actual snowmans walking across the map then I don't know how to help you. If you want to play comp or cannot breathe without tunneling at 5 gen's then at least go to the basic queue. You are not utilizing anything the event is giving to you so why bother casual pl

  • His high mobility, the fact that he insta pickup survivors who are hurt OR are fully infected and last but not least the slowdown from being fully infected make Wesker a little tunnel paradise. I am not surprised by the amount of Wesker players tunneling (as this has never been an issue before haha). His power is forgiving enough to catch up to survivors manually if you miss the dash. Sugge

  • Sounds offensive I know but in the last week there was not a single game where the killer would not tunnel hard and/or proxy camp from the start of the match. These killers (mostly) did not make good use of their killers power but tried to outweigh that by tunneling hard and camping. And I say babykiller even though Im no beginner (5 years in dbd) because these people actually do have hundreds i

  • I don't think it was thought throug what this add-on does, but I've seen a few matches now where killers pick indoor map (by offering) and then use the add-on to just camp around hooked survivors undetectable. Because the dog can snatch you away from the survivor you're trying to unhook, this whole situation feels like a camping Bubba. It is pretty much the same situation we had with pre nerfed

  • After comming back to dbd for the new chapter, my theory once again proved to be right and so after one year of observing dbd and how players play, here is the hard truth. While there will always be people who play like dirt on both sides some facts that are hard to swallow are: Perk meta is more balanced then ever. Survivors paradise is gone and killers are getting their perks nerfed as frequ

  • I know topic is old but I dont care anymore. Took a long break from dbd and my first match today was against an cheating swf. Bhvr really needs to tackle this topic. I know it doesn't make money but increasing quality of gameplay will make them more money in longterm because more people will be around to buy dlc's or skins and rift passes. Playerbase is in decline and for good reason. I don

  • When the WereElk skin released the community went berserk because it is "too quiet". Then why is Feng Min audible on half the map while Ace and Ada have basekit iron will? Stuff like that doesn't make any sense. It may not be gamebreaking but there is a very obvious reason Ace and Ada have high pick rates. Normalizing audio with perceived loudness or heck just RMS isn't that hard.

Text reads "vault pallet" game goes "here is a locker for you" I fast vault a pallet to trigger lithe, game goes "nu-uh you're lagging now and the speed of lithe will not apply for another second" → me goes down. • Since the last update I have the feeling that I'm way clunkyier then before. I get stuck on tiles where I don't see any reason to get stuck and in my thousands of hours playing I can't remember getting stuck there like ever before. I feel like survivors got a little bit faster which either means I meet more subtile cheater(which is an option) or my hitbox got somehow a litte bit bigger making

  • SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I did test this the entire day in public matches. Under no circumstances do I hear any noise when someone drops a flash bang. No gasp for air from the survivor. Not the clip being pulled, not even the explosion. The lack of sound lead to many undeserved flash bang safes. And I mean it the way it's phrased. On multiple occasions I saw survivor running towards me and dropping

  • So dbd is becomming more and more toxic. Survivors tbag till they have a concussion and killers are tunneling like bots until their brain rots. I don't want it to become like mw2 or league of legends. How do we fix this? Well we could debate about perks and game mechanics over and over again but we all now that people will look for and find a way to bypass these. In the end it's mitigating

  • Look im not against swf or something like that. I do play survivor with my friends too. But everything needs it's limits. Things like this happen on a daily basis and it's getting ridicilous. • I've seen this in multiple games now. The survivor can drop the flas bang right next to me but I never hear it. Why is that? Has it changed? Because I know for a fact it had a sound in the past and not hearing that is like the most annoying thing ever.

  • I think we all know the feeling when we see the killer picking a map. It is the same feeling killers get when seeing offerings for survivor sided maps. In my early days I thought it was a tool to see more maps because the matchmaking doesn't feel very versatile sometimes. Right now it feels more like a war. If I pick a map as killer half the matches never start because someone dc'ed. If I den

  • I always have been tired of cheaters but after seeing the latest Hens333 video where he explains, that cheaters have millions of free accounts on epic. I just dont want to play with epic users anymore. I already have subtile or not so subtile cheaters in half my matches and its frustrating and annoying. However when you disable crossplay you never find a match. I tried it multiple times. Even af

  • As the latest statistic shows, swf players do have a huge advantage over solo q players. These advantages come from matching builds and roles, voicecall, callouts and coordination. Aside from comp players there is little that the average killer can do to stop these teams effectivly and the matches become stressfull and annoying very quick. So when looking at the numbers the game needs a mechani

  • Yeah not much to say theyre both just terrible I thought with the Haddonfield rework they learned how to place lockers. But these new variations are the biggest nightmare for locker related killers like huntress, trickster and dredge. Almost all the locker positions are awfull and you see nothing with darkness revealed because they are too far from gens or important paths. Then there is a to

  • I just got back into dbd after more then a 4 months break. Let's put aside the gen bug which is absolutely mindbreaking that even almost a week after the update there is no fix for that. I am currently really wondering what bhvr is thinking with their perk balancing. They nerfed almost every gen regression perk (besides surge) and the only one to receive a buff is orpression. On the other hand

  • I quitted dbd 6 weeks ago and honestly I have not missed it. I used to play almost every day but now I don't even consider it worth staying installed anymore. Not even new chapters will make up for the atrocious amount of toxicity in this game. A friend talked me into trying it one more time after having such a long break. Worst possible idea. I don't know what happend in the last weeks but thi

  • I've played dbd for 5 years now (which of course doesn't makes me the most experienced player) and I finally reached my personal breaking point. This game is barely fun anymore as a lot of players take it way to personal and serious with toxicity in the game and community being at it's peak. I played both sides pretty equally (maybe a bit more killer though) and for survivors I can just say: I

  • As more and more chapters are added to dbd the balancing becomes quite more stressfull especially when perks have potentially high synergie. I thought maybe we can solve two problems with a limit on how often each individual player can use a perk. For example 'Devour Hope' is a strong perk and is only allowed up to 5 usages per day, 'Adrenalin' is in the same category for survivors and will be

  • I think I am in the high mmr bracket as killer and in the mid maybe low-high mmr for survivor. My experience in dbd never was worse. Every single killer is tunneling with 'pain res', 'grim embrace', 'pop' and 'corrupt' or something very close to this and on the other side I have tactical squad leaders gen-rushing and exit gate butt dancing every game. 'EZ' spams are no rare occasion anymore by b

  • From my personal experience I always had collision with the killer when trying to pallet save or something like that. Some time ago I was standing in shack between the generator and a window. So my body should block this path. Yet a survivor appeared out of thin air and performed a flash bang save later claiming you can walk through the killer when he picks somebody up. I tried to recreate it

  • Apparently all maps are under discussion so I'd like to open up a general discussion about lockers. I do get that some maps are better for a killer and some are worse. That's totally fine. But sometimes it is questionable how big the disadvantage can get. My main example is the map of the Skull Merchant. The locker placement on this map is so disgusting that sometimes only 2 generators are nea

  • After playing many hours you kind of get a feeling how fast a killer or a survivor can be and what the limits of the pers are that are acessible in the game. Last match one of the survivors was incredibly hard to catch. I lost sight of him for just one second when he went around the corner but somehow he gained distance. I was starting to doubt myself as I couldn't catch up to him. I know I slow

Then I do play a low tier killer (played huntress for a while to nail these snipes and nurse to train my blinks) and all they can do is tbagging around the exit gate (I don't tunnel so yeah

  • Alltough they add new content regularly and the new chapter looks amazing, it didn't even took 5 matches for it to feel stale and boring again. Why is that you may ask? Well let's look at the current situation. A new player join's dbd he get's maybe 5 starter games before mmr screws him over and sells him out to a killer with more experience then the whole team has. They get stomped into the gr

  • The idea here is that if the match is not fun because of a killer who tunnels agressiv at 5 gens, the killer holds a three gen from the start or sluggs every survivor for 4 minutes, you can just dc the game and move on. I was against this idea myself for quite some time but with the tunneling becomming more and more present I feel like it should be okay to leave a match behind without facing a

  • Lights out is about mastering the power of your killer while facing the obstacles and challenges of the darkness. Having no scratch marks and limited vision can make it very difficult to find survivors or spot the killer. The problem with legion is, that the killerpower basically bypasses these obstacles and challenges. On contrary. Due to it's nature of killers having no terror radius the legio

Well if you are not up for the challenge and simply take the legion as killer to bypass the obstacles of lights out or you camp around and tunnel then yes, it's killer sided. On the other hand I think I never escaped so many matches ever before. I wasn't frustrated with dbd in 3 days (except for a few camper and tunnel killer) and never had so much
