  • It is a refreshing game mode and I whish it would stay forever. DBD finally feels scary again BUT it also feels far less stressfull. No worries about pain res, dead mans switch or noed. No backround player, lithe, sprintburst or unbreakable. It really comes down to your skill and mindgames. On the other hand people are barehanded and realise, they rely on perks and add-ons way too much. So kille

  • It happens a lot more recently that I'm playing against the same killers multiple times in a row up to playing only vs 3 different killer though playing 12 matches. Maybe we need a subroutine in the matchmaking algorithm that prevents going up against the same killer over and over and over again. Something like a counter which prevents matches with that killer if you faced him too often already.

  • I think everyone who played this game for a while had some matches where things where just not adding up. Either the distance the survivor gained while out of sight or the game sense the killer had looking behind that particular rock for a survivor right after entering the area. Well bhvr does take these things serious. But they need your assistance. I started recording matches whenever somethin

  • Most people will understand why Letherface can still facecamp you and down you a second after you unhook yourself. I think a good amount of people did not know Pinhead can do that too. I don't know if it count's as 'abusing the game system' or if its just part of the game but when you unhook yourself and Pinhead chains you up (which is pretty easy right after an unhook) all you need is the "Orig

  • The perk can be quite annoying in a bully squad. I get that. But if you're the average solo-q player, head on does not provide enough distance for you to make it somewhere. You need time to exit the locker but the 3 second stun timer starts at the start of the animation. So you loose that time which is somewhat 0.5 or 0.75 seconds. You need to start sprinting again which also costs you a fracti

  • Pretty much what the title says. It's not fun for nobody and I cannot imagine a killer is having fun while camping and hardcore tunneling. Most people say "just do gens" yeah its not that easy as expecially in solo q people will try to save the survivor. So you have a max of 2 survivors on gens. Mostly just 1. It doesn't affect just one player it affects the whole team. It drains the match and

  • Every match against hillbilly is a desaster. If you spin him you gain almost no distance. You jump into the locker last second to avoid the hit, you gain nothing, he either grabs you or he charges through and you go down. So aside from jungle gyms there is almost nothing you can do. As soon as he gets overdrive and gets closer then 10 meters youre doomed. It's only a question of time when you wil

  • Spinning that little piece of trash is hard enough, but you do not gain enough distance to make it anywhere. His cooldown should be longer as it is arleady hard to see him, hard to dodge him and then he can follow up way too quick.

  • Killers who are not stealthy basekit benefit the most from this event. But what about others? Will we still hear lullabys, Meyers or Ghostface? What I am most concerned about: WILL THE DREDGE FINALLY BE SILENT? If not, our beloved turkey boy gets left out once more. Because of his intergrated directional audio he would be completly unplayable during lights out event.

  • I know that his pickrate is low and I get that a lot of people struggle to play either as him or against him. I don't want to talk about that. Im talking about the fact that he is one of the very few killers with no special skin. He recently gained the another purple skin which is cool and all but I do miss something special for him. Something that doesn't look like the basemodel. We see these

  • I couldn't reproduce it yet but it was encountered several times by me and my friends. When starting to self heal either with selfcare or a medkit, the bar never started to fill up. We simply didn't know our healing progress.

  • I mean sure if youre really good you can buy a lot of time with a meta build. Personally I never run the "lithe, resiliance, WoO, adrenalin" meta as I think it's a boring build. I tried a lot of different builds over the years and included gen perks in a lot of them too. Recently I made a pure gen/genrush build. Since then I only lost one single game as survivor as I finish at least 2 gens mos

  • I tried a ton of different perk combinations and gave each of them several chances, I try to mindgame, try to learn from streamers/youtube videos. Ultimately I have to admit, I give up on playing dredge. It was my main killer and I still love my turkey boy. But at the current state he is the only thing I can do to win is tunnel and I don't like to do that. IDK what it is but he feels so slow

  • Imagine you tunnel, camp at the basement and then spam 'ez' in the endgame chat. This game has a serious issue with toxic players. As if tunneling wasn't a thing already. I get that in high mmr you kind of are forced to do it because you don't have a chance if 4 survivors stay in the game for long. But don't come here and pretend it's a valid tactic when 3 out of 4 players in the match have less

  • I don't know how this algorithm is designed but it doesn't work at all. Why on earth do I face swf teams with 18 k hours red med kits all meta builds and map offerings. Tell me how this is anywhat balanced. I just want to have some fun after work. This is just frustrating. It's been 9 games with just swf squads just today. Im very close to just play nurse and stomp survivors until someone rewo

  • I get that perks are the main selling point for new survivor dlc's and sometimes even killers. Recently I started to question the way this game operates. It seems a lot comes down to choosing the right perks as killer or survivor and making the game about it. It sure adds a variety to the playstile which is good for a game but ultimately the killers power is just half of the deal at the current

  • I have to deal with stuff like this almost every single match. This was a swf team of 4 people. And this is just one example. I get that solo-q players cannot really coordinate their perks but swf's? That's just a joke right there. Why would I even try playing a Tier C killer if this is what I get. I loved to play dredge but with team around like this

  • I love my turkey boy but he is so desperatlly dependant on rng, maps, add-ons and perks that I don't feel like he is fun anymore. Every power can be countered and the element of surprise is completly gone with his integrated dyson v12 and having a locker further then 12 meters from the gen. I don't ask for easy kills. I ask for advice. It feels like he is barely playable the more experienced th

  • I thought quite some time about this but I think this is overall a pretty solid idea. A lot of games have casual and ranked modes. This would prevent a lot of frustration in the game. There are players (killers and survivors/swf) that play this gamed like being in a tournament. This leads to frustration on both sides as killers who just wanted to play some casual fun games are being gen-rushed,

  • Not every killer is nurse or blight and thats perfectly fine. It's actually good to just have a few stronger killers and a lot of Tier A / Tier B killers. BUT Some killers are very dependant on certain conditions and some are not even a real threat if they only use their base power. My main example is the dredge. There is no other killer which power can be disabled without a downside. You can

  • The last few weeks I started to resent this game more and more. Almost every game (as killer) I get the sweatiest tryhards you can imagine. Everyone is running the meta (lithe, adrenalin, windows of oppurtunity, resiliance). Every pallet you get tbagged every window you get nodded and or tbagged. I don't even start about the exit gate dances of flash light clickies. I don't really know why peopl

  • I know it sounds like a wild shot but hear me out. Yes you can hack the drones and they are down for less then a minute. But she is the only stealth killer who has absolutely no downside. Wraith needs to uncloak, Ghostface can be pulled out of Nightshroud, The dredge (is probably crying about its stealth ability) has an integrated dyson v12. Onryo has lullaby, Xeno is only stealthy in tunnels.

  • Is it just me or does it feel like a lot of cheaters made it back into the game? Sometimes I make mistakes as killer or survivor, thats fine. But killers aiming for a meaningless position while your healthy, have distortion equiped and no generator is around?? Also I feel like I encounter subtile cheaters as killer on a daily basis now. I started to doubt my own skills to the level where I ask

  • I dont even know why the dredge has it in first place. I mean a lullaby? Fine. Directional audio almost as big as the terror radius???? Are you kidding? What is the point of having no terrorradius in nightfall when the noise sells you out 24/7??? It should be dead silence in nightfall and has no directional audio in daylight. The dredge is not a weak killer but it is building up frustration.

  • Let's be real almost only filthy bully squads use the combo of 'For the people' and 'Buckle Up'. So if a solo q player uses it fine. He risked something to safe his teammate. So gaining endurance is okay. The one who was healed by 'For the people' shouldn't get an extra health state just because somebody else picked him up. This would force bully squads to at least waste another slot on soul gua

  • I present to you a new killer: THE RITUAL: Powers Reign of Darkness: The map is tainted in darkness. Darkness will strengthen you while light is weakening you. In the darkness you gain the undetectable status effect and haste. Each survivor starts with a candle. Ancient candles can be retrieved at sacred shrines. Survivors can perform a ritual at a s

  • Sometimes slugging for 4k is necessary because of an archive or because you already spotted the last survivor. But on the other hand being slugged is pretty annoying especially when the killer sticks around to catch the last survivor in an attempt to save you. I think we all had the problem of being downed, slugged, rescued by the last other survivor just to be downed again instantly. Therefor I

  • The Dredge is (as best as I can remember) the only killer who never got a change. Now this could mean that this killer is pretty balanced but I think it is more imbalanced then most killers. I will explain why but I will also mark where the power rework suggestion starts if youre not interested in my thoughts. I still recommend reading them for having a common ground discussion and to understan

  • I think people underestimate how much time this perk actually steals from the killer. The times of survivors beeing overly stealthy are gone and looping is more and more common. Therefor having a single perk that shows you EVERY RESOURCE in your reach is completly broken. When looping a killer resources like windows and pallets are crucial to gain distance, extend the chase, burn more of the

  • I get that this killer gets played a lot because he is new. But right now I am beyond annoyed. Chucky aka "The good guy" witholds way too much power and is zero fun to play against. At the current state when playing alone or with friends we consider leaving the game when we see its him. My friends and I are frustrated. The most concerning part for me is the stealth mechanism. He is too short to

  • With the upcomming patch facecamping will be impossible (or at least not effective) as the survivor then can simply unhook himself. This change is pretty good as many got pretty tired of invisible basement bubbas. There are a lot of perks and ways to prevent tunneling (borrowed time, dead hard, off the records | bodyblocking, stunning with flash bangs etc). We can agree tunneling and camping

  • I get that playing with your friens is super fun. But on the killers side it quickly can become a nightmare. Dead by Daylight already has a lot of information for survivors. (HUD) Perks and maps/keys can further enhance this. I think the amount of information a party of 4 talking via discord is way out of the range. With discord teams perks like for example ko and hex: the third seal become co

  • It is basically unbelievable that this is still in the game. Any killer who only runs at 4,4 meters will basically have no chance to catch up anymore in the endgame. If someone sets up dark theory a survivor will be faster then the killer. Dead by Daylight became very stale lately as every survivor (at least in the upper ranks) runs the same boring build: Made for this Resiliance Hope Windo
