I mean,sure
If you have a next gen console or a really really strong PC.
Everyone else has to suffer from terrible FPS and FPS drops
To be honest, my pc really isn't that good. Costed in total ~$500 before the gpu shortage.
The game used to run absolutely horrible until I but -dx12 in the startup options, now it runs at 120 fps at all times.

... Quite possibly because it's nowhere near the same. Hag traps are avoidable, just crouch.
Not sure why it isn't popular knowledge, but you can avoid triggering the Killer Instinct from being near Victor by crouching as well.

I actually love grinding, coming from games like World of Warcraft. But the grind is pretty excessive and an enormous turn off for new players.
The gameplay pulled a lot of my friends into the game, and the grind sent almost all of them away.
It doesn't discourage me personally from buying DLC's and cosmetics, but it definitely is eating into their profits because of how many people it shuns away from the game.

My goal is to always get more BP, if I'm not maxed out on everything, there is always something to still be trying to do.

we all know that spirit is a really annoying killer and is in need of a change
one thing I would really want is that they give her own chase music but when she start phasing the chase music changes to be more aggressive to show she is made and gaining on you real fast
give me your change ideas
I would make it so survivors could tell when she is phasing (add an animation or visible change in her appearance when phasing), would remove the "stand still" mindgame and give you information that perhaps some actual consistent counterplay would arise.

The grind was addressed... by adding 3 new characters and 9 new perks.
Technically the last Bloodhunt wasn't in November of 2019. That's just the last time we got a double bp Bloodhunt. We've had a couple 1.5X Bloodhunts that are double the duration of 2X bp. I actually prefer 1.5X to 2X due to the duratiom increase.
True, but my point is that they're becoming less frequent.
When I first started playing, it felt like they started an extra bp event every other week. Now it's usually those lame offerings which don't even give you very much extra.

Why do you P3?
If there were 10 tiers instead, would you P10?
Why to have P3 if it is easy to achieve?
And I am not saying that the current state is good. E.g. P3ing is really discouraging on characters where you already have a lot more perks unlocked. This whole thing is probably from old times when after 50 levels you already unlocked all perks, but the system was never reworked for the current state when we have a lot more perks.
I'm a hardcore completionist, I probably would've given up on the game if the grind was this bad and there were ten prestige tiers. Probably would eventually P10 if a system like I described was in the game.
I got roped in because the grind was thick but bearable, but they've added so many new survivors and killers that it's hard to keep up.
P3 is already easy to achieve anyway, the hardest parts of the grind is getting all the perks unlocked and getting them t3 on all killers. Getting to prestige 3 is only like 3 million BP, which isn't really that bad compared to the 10 million is takes to unlock all perks.

Right now im watching streamer who just started playing and is brand new to the game. From his perspective, game is really hostile grind-wise.
How about implementing a starter-kits? Whenever you buy a killer or survivor, you get few (just a few and not too strong) power addons / items with addons and few random perks? So at very least game is a bit more beginner friendly.
Also we could remove one of perk tiers and go to low tier / high tier perk differentiation OR remove tiers all together. With that change we could maybe, just maybe, decrease a little bit the spawn of very rare and ultra rare addons and items in bloodwebs, so with reduced grind people wont just spam them every game.
That's a pretty interesting idea, would encourage people to try out new killers instead of just playing 1 or 2 until they got bored and stopped playing the game.
I've heard the remove tiers all together, but I believe that would reduce the grind way too much, I would be able to p3 all perks all the killers within 3-4 days of average gameplay.

There are already many perks against face camping. Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Camaraderie.

Ranks used to be shown in the lobby, miss it big time.
Told me if I needed to sweat and carry the team, or if I can relax and not use all the pallets.
-
I think he's actually A tier.
You can zone survivors towards zombies, and they can extend loops long enough where they either have to take a hit or leave the loop.
Is power is pretty strong at tier 3, and you recover so fast from breaking pallets and hits. I'm unsure what is a good build, but his best addons are for sure the ones that increase his tier gain from zombies.

It's a good strategy that can easily be abused by strong teams. Not so good against more regular teams. Nonetheless, it does seem like a flaw that unnecessarily denies power from Nemesis. This should be addressed, perhaps have the zombie infection count to the Tier progress since the zombies are ultimately part of Nemesis' power. Another idea is to have infection have more of a penalty than merely be vulnerable to Nemmy's wang (which can be worked around, especially without T3).
I wouldn't say this NEEDS to be addressed, we don't even know if it even really has that much impact. I've done no testing.

Maybe...But even if it's no longer then a lunge. Think about all the times you barely get through a window, pallet, etc away from an M1. If you grant me the ability to down you with the tentacle through the pallet, window, etc. That down is more important then keeping me from t3 for slightly longer.
I guess. It would really come down to how long you can actually deny tier 3 and how long being uncontaminated really helps in chases, if he is in tier 3 or not. Too early for me to be able gauge that, but it might be a worthwhile strat to try out.
-
I agree, super excited for the new killer.
Most of the perks are pretty boring though, except a few of the survivor perks.

I'm not sure exactly what the counter play is yet. But that doesn't feel like the play. As Nemesis..I would GLADLY. Take survivors willingly infecting themselves. So my range can always work and I don't have to hit you 3 times at the start
My thought process was that in tier 1 and 2, his tentacle strike is barely longer than a lunge, but in tier 3 is like a good 6 meters long. And maybe it's worth it to deny him tier 3 for as long as possible.

I think his zombies are underrated. You dont hear them if they are around a corner, meaning if you're injured and infected, you're downed.
Their AI need a bit better pathfinding, instead of trying to go for the closest distance(causing them to get stuck) going for the better route(taking slightly more time and distance, but never getting stuck).
But even with their mediocre AI right now, they do make Nemesis much more powerful than some people realize.
I agree, they're actually pretty huge for finding survivors.
They raise their arms when they're chasing someone, so you can always tell if someone is near them.

All basement challenges are broken, but they only "fixed" the one in tome V, and left the rest unchanged. BHVR pls fix. I can't progress through Tome 4 because "buried underground" is unachievable in level 2.

Console players? I don't noticed that. Thought it was just against ppl playing from any platform. Thank you from the feedback, I will try to turn off my crossplay aswell. Indeed my hits don't connect just as the Oni, otherwise it could be really is due to latency issues.
I may be incorrect, but one of my matches was all PC survivors, and I didn't have the issue. It was only one occasion, so take it with a grain of salt.
-
I played around 2 matches of oni earlier today, had the same problem in them. My ping said I was ~80, and it only happened when I was trying to hit console players while in my power. It worked fine when I was attempting to hit PC survivors though.
-
I had the same issue a ton today, nearly half of my hits weren't connecting as oni, even though I heard them scream as if they had gone down. It only seems to be happening when I'm playing against console players, so I guess i'm just turning off crossplay until it's fixed :)
