  • modern horror movies are usually less icon-based, the perfect example of this is James Wan's "Malignant" where for the (very good imo) first half of the movie you have no idea what the "villain" of the movie really is to have this sort of suprise effect when it gets revealed. Conjuring has similar tendencies where it starts out with weird sounds and effects until later on the actual menace is revealed.

Older Horror Movies (which are basically thrillers now - which isn't a bad thing, i absolutely ADORE the first movie of scream) where insanely more centered and direct, where Ghostface is introduced to the viewer as villain from the first scene on, similar to Halloween with Michael killing his sister (i think) in like the first scene and is the definite villain of that movie...

SCP stuff is pretty iconic, the Backrooms are eerie and a lot of video game stuff, like the wendigos from until dawn are nice, however not nearly as iconic as Michael Myers or Freddy Krüger... i guess time has to pass first for those to have the chance to become icons...

Also i have noticed a trend with video games picking up Lovecraft-inspired topics / characters (which is really nice too imo, big Lovecraft fan since i first read his Whisperer in the dark) and a lot of games take stuff from that, even non-horror games like Call of Duty Black Ops 3...

and the old icons arent really any less iconic to us then they were to you i presume

  • Tremors might also be an option instead of bbq if you want a bit more slowdown

The dredge really needs a change. It's just too many things in one killer: great map mobility, anti-loop and when night comes you can barely see anything in most maps. And the fact that he get night fall so easily also makes no sense. It's the most unfun killer to play against currently and there seems to be no counter to him since the locks are also only one time use and you can't loop that killer because of the remnant.

Survivor Mains when a Killer has slightly more than an M1 Attack:

op, no counter, rito pls fix, where nerf... seriously, when will survivors ask the devs to remove perks and addons for killers because they have "too much going on"

I'd say just play stealthy at first... getting one dash attack that lands is good enough (4 games like that and it's done)

Also you can use combat straps (speeds up crouching and standing up) and one of the other dash attack addons (a % speed increase on the dash attack)

doing the challenge is not a problem, i just want to know how i can maximize fun and kills in the games i play with pig

Patch after patch we are seeing the same thing: New killer and Survivor with perks that fail to address core issues of the game and don't shake up the meta. They have extremely niche/situational perks.

And, a new archives rift to keep you busy and addicted for a while.

Oh, and have some cosmetics too. Not that you'd ever want to use anything other than Blendette if we're being honest.

    THAT'S IT. It's getting stale!

Why can't we see new game modes? New items? New survivor actions? More gestures added? If they put a little effort, they could really breath new life into the same old game.

A new Game mode would make lobby waiting times even longer, so that won't be coming. But i'm a Fan of reworking the gen System to make this game a bit less of a loading screen Simulator. Also, i'd love to see Killer skin Packs added that wouldn't just change the Outfit of the Killer, but their Sounds and name too, for example the trapper could be called Jason Vorhees and their could be a Brandon James skin for Ghostface.

The store outfits are sort of expensive and charms, well I get they were trying but that's not really the kind of customization that's particularly fun or innovative. Just new ways to customize and perk reworks should make the game feel more fresh

  • Please Guys, we all hate insidious Camping tunneling Noed using Killers. I get it. But what Killer specifically do you not like to play against, their behaviour aside here. Maybe it's their Power or Sounds that make them annoying. Every Killer can Camp and Tunnel no need to talk about that, rather give me actual answer to the question instead of saying "none but campers" i knew that already

  • @zHypnotism said:

Yeah who do you Surv mains think is the most annoying Killer?

I've been playing a bit more Survivor these days and i feel like the Hagen is pretty annoying. But what do you guys think?

    I'm not talking about Noed

  • Freddy just gets pressure up too easily imo. The sleep timer should be paused when running, so that only when doing gens or when hiding, pressure is applied

    Korrupte Intervention,

    Beobachten und Zuschlagen,

    Pop goes the Weasel und
