played since 2018 and I was 50/50 killer survivor but eventually only played survivor, my friends slowly stopped playing, I stopped playing early 2026 because of solo queue being miserable, I came back to play 1 game of solo queue last week to give the game a chance only to get matched against a ttv twins who slugged and bragged about only how he only lost one match the entire day, I uninstalled and won't play again. Its far better to watch people play dbd than to play it.

just played a match against a blight who was on me 6 seconds from the match starting, the day before l went up against a blight who was only using the speed add-ons and was only tunnelling, dead at five gens. Id rather play against ghoul and Krause 100 times more than blight

I convinced my buddy to play the game again after he stopped playing for two years and the first two matches we got were knockout slugs at 5 gens...

I have a lot of fun as a solo que survivor going up against the hundreds of blights that 4k at five gens. It pushes me to play other games that are actually fun.

I finally got a ps5 because l couldn't stand how the game performed on PS4 and to my surprise it still runs like ######### on ps5.

I'm sorry but these devs need to hurry up and fix this. I remember another post a year or so ago that got 30+ pages for the same thing...

You'd think the devs would've listened when for weeks there was a massive thread about it on the front page but once again they've ignored it and now its even worse than it was before that thread... before you could play a couple games before having to restart the ps4 to get better frames but now its happening in the first game.

^This. There are a lot of things in DBD that can ruin everyone's fun. The complaints that survivors have for killers and vice versa are all pretty much legit. The way to get around this is to not care about the outcome of your matches. Learning not to care about ranks or pipping can make a world of difference. I realize that with some people that's easier said than done, but if you stop looking at DBD as a competitive game, that will make everything significantly better for you.
its not about rank or depiping for me l just want games to last longer

Unfortunately right now I think Corrupt Intervention is almost necessary in red ranks. Survivors spawn across the map and usually on a generator so C.I. literally blocks them from working gens near them. They have to move around the map which increases the likelihood of you finding them and wastes their time because they aren't pressuring gens. C.I. blocks 3 gens so you only have to patrol 4 gens and you will find someone much easier. Also like some other people have said already and this is HUGE, you have to know when to drop a chase. If you're getting looped and hear a gen being worked on don't be ashamed to just drop the chase and defend your gens. I've noticed killers get that tunnel vision and refuse to drop a chase due to pride or because they are so focused on downing this ONE survivor which is a huge waste of time. Anyways good luck long post sorry.

Lol ? There's so much things to do to stop gen rushing , its just that they don't want to focus on it .
I chased the first guy off his gen and found the second guy 10 seconds after hooking the first guy... what the ######### am l supposed to do????

You have 0 Gen Defense and 0 Tracking. You only have Chase Perks which probably lead to a lot of tunnel vision.
yet l found someone early in the match and downed someone quick after hooking him so what difference does it really make

Right now I’m running Corrupt, BBQ, Undying, Ruin.
It’s quite strong. You’ve only got 4 gens to pressure for 2 mins and anytime you chase a survivor off the gens auto regress.

Sure it sucks but just because you get stuck on it, it doesnt mean the killer have to let you escape. Its not his fault + its his job to kill you guys.
Thats what i call entiltment.
l had a deathslinger see me stuck in it and he just left me there all game while walking past me multiple times, as soon as my teammates escaped he came back and killed me. Its a shame cause when l play killer and see people stuck there l always down them, pick them up and let them wiggle off. How can you be happy killing a player that literally cant move??? thats just scummy imo

I seriously hope they do something because lerys memorial has become unplayable for me, just trying to dead hard or hit skill checks on that map is impossible

They don't have a base kit M2 attack so no way to avoid it if they expect it.
what about exposed status perks? noed, make your choice, devour hope, rancor? all those killers can run these perks

You can counter exposed and insta downs by being good and looping/dodge.
Killers can't prevent you from pressing a button with their skill. M1 killers can't not hit you with M1 3 times to not let MoM happen.
l play leatherface and if l suspect someone of having mom l just insta down them.

How can you tell somebody is a smurf? Might be somebody who mainly plays survivor and knows what killers on other ranks do to catch survivors
l used to be red rank when the game came out on ps4 and l recognised the killers name and hes a rank 2 killer and still plays like a rank 2

Personally I think, even as a Survivor Main, that Ruin should trigger a minimum amount of Skill Checks. Maybe every 10 seconds or so...

All DS does is extend the chase time, that's it. Killers can shorten chase time by insta downing with michael, leatherface, hillbilly, exposed status.....

It's not coming backl play on ps4 and let me tell you killers at red rank are always dodging the second l join the lobby with my friend, we're both red ranks and have to spend 10-20 minutes searching only for the killer to instantly leave when we join. l've started deranking on purpose just so l can find new killers.
