@TheLastGreatStar I hope, but I mean she didn't even give her voice for the two big Buffy games that were released.
-
Horrible. That would make the perk useless and more of a detriment. I can get downed immediately for maybe the perk becoming useful later? Not worth it, MoM is fine as it is.
-
Agreed. Killers are just crying because the game is now slightly harder for them. Killers have been consistently getting great perks and survivors have only received crap. Now that we finally get a good perk all they can do is cry and complain because it won't be an ez win for them anymore.
-
@Navydivea They are thiugh. Guess you haven't played in a while because loops are impossible against killers as swinging through a pallet is always a guaranteed hit.
-
I never understood the complaints about this. Hex perks are supposed to be a gamble. They're EXTREMELY powerful, but they have the added risk of being destroyed. You gamble with it being out in the open, or in a very remote hidden spot. That's how it's supposed to be. I'm sorry you can't have your op perk the whole match, but that's not how it's supposed to work. (before I get comments about it:YES totems are meant to be OP, but they're not seen as such because they can be destroyed. But they are, in fact, more powerful than the average perk).

@sailormars I don’t think they should remove hits through open windows. We’re talking about physics here. There’s no legitimate reason a hit shouldn’t connect, except for whining survivors wanting free escapes.
Trapper: “oh I’m sorry chap, didn’t see you on the other side of the open window. I promise not to reach my machete holding arm through it.”
@DudeDelicious Um, no, this isn't about real life its about a game. If this was real life the killers would climb over boxes in loops or throw their weapon... But they don't. Why? Because it's a game. A window is a tools for a survivor to escape the killer, if I'm past the window, there is no reason for me to be hit. It's already a thing with pallets. If I drop a pallet and the killer is on the other side, no matter how close I stand to the pallet, the killer is not able to hit me. So why shouldn't windows be the same? It's not like killers can't reach past the pallet aswell?
-
How are they underpowered? I'd say they're in a good place/slightly too strong. All you have to do as killer is swing through every pallet and window you see and most times you're going to get the hit even if they're past the window or the pallet is in the middle of dropping. That's what needs to go.
Also, I don't know what game you've been playing but Killers have been getting buffed consistently for the past few months.
-
Yes, although I'd prefer Willow to be the survivor over Buffy. First of all, I doubt SMG would actually come back to do any voice lines and stuff. Alyson, on the other hand, would most likely say yes. Second, Willow could have many more unique perks than Buffy can with her witch powers. She can have a perk that allows her to drop a pallet from afar, possibly fireballs that blind or stun the killers, blocking vaults for killers (Survivor version of bamboozle), etc. And since being a witch is a teachable thing in Buffy and not something you're born with like in Charmed, her perks being teachable and usable by other survivors wouldn't be weird.
As a killer, I'd like to see Angelus, Spike, Glory, The Master, or Adam. They'd all make a good killer. Maybe even the Mayor.
-
You don't know how many times I swing through pallets or at windows and get the hit. It's honestly ridiculous. I hit survivors through pallets pretty much every time no matter what and even I call bullshit.

Yeah...that Ace that just blinded you through 5 pallets and flickered his flashlight wanting you to chase him is doing it for “strategic purposes only”. Okay, that makes so much sense.
My point is that it’s not needed for Hag or Spirit to be as susceptible to blinds as the taller killers. First of all it makes sense as they are shorter. Second of all, why are you complaining about such a little thing when there are MUCH bigger balancing issues to focus on?
You can still blind Hag and Spirit through pallets anyways, blind the top of their head and they’ll become blind if you REALLY want to troll the killer. Put in the effort and then maybe you’ll get the outcome you want, don’t just aimlessly shine the light at their face.
You can insinuate that I mainly play Meg and Spirit by my profile picture and name. I play both equally. YOU were the one that assumed that I played mainly killer so I told you otherwise and I gave you the reason. If didn’t know, well now you do.
Okay so because one player trolls you, it means pallet blinds are specifically to troll? Lmao, okay.
So it's not needed for them to be blinded just because they're shorter? Okay then, it's not needed for the Clown to walk faster than Meg can run since she's an athlete. Let's just buff Meg's speed and lower his so it'd make sense. Yeah, no, it doesn't matter that they're shorter, it matters that it works on other killers and is an intended feature and should therefore be allowed on every killer.
And yes, there are bigger things but everyone is already taking about them, I want to mention other things that also need fixing that everyone isn't already arguing about.
And nope, I've aimed at the top of their head and it still didn't blind them. I've tried all the spots: closer to the neck, at the face, and above it. Nothing works.
And no, from your name and picture I assumed you as a killer main who also plays Meg. I main Myers but I still play survivor more. Doesn't mean I don't play both sides, but me calling myself Myers main wouldn't necessarily mean I play killer a lot. Still, thanks for letting me know I guess.

My name is literally “MegMain98”. You can’t say that I mainly play killer when my name insinuates something different. I play both sides equally and I support balance for the game with the killer side being a little bit stronger since they are the power role.
However when I do play killer, if somebody constantly tries flashlighting you through a pallet it’s not for gameplay strategy...they’re just being annoying. What is the strategy in that? I love seeing survivors try blinding me as Spirit and failing each time as they try teabagging at pallets, especially with Brutal Strength. If somebody is flashlighting you at every pallet, most of the time it is to try and annoy you, not to be a team player.
Okay, yet you're still not making sense as this has nothing to do with "unfair balance". Also, yes, it's for strategy. It allows you to get far away enough to another loop and not allow the killer to follow right behind. Yes they can hear you and move toward your general direction, but it won't be as precise as if they could see so they won't gain as much distance on you.
Also, uh, your name means nothing. I can name myself Michael Myers, it doesn't mean I'm him. I can name myself "governor of Utah" aswell.

How can you adapt to something that has no counter?
You get his with the DS, killers time is wasted.
Dribble, killers time is wasted.
It's getting nerfed and deservedly so, There is no "Adapting" to this
In the case of using a torch at a pallet it simply requires different positioning on the part of the survivor it works on all killers, it's just not a one size fits all solution.
BTW I worded the above wrong, I meant how can I adapt to flashlighting at pallets when there's no counter to them looking down and avoiding it?

Okay, what's you're point? Should we nerf Rancor aswell? It has no counter. How about NOED? If you cleanse the totems, you waste a lot of time. If you don't, you get one shotted. Either way it's a lose lose situation. Also, how can I adapt to flashlighting at pallets if it has no counter. These two perks deserve it aswell, what's your point?
And no, it's not about adapting. You literally can't blind her.

Why? The reason is because Hag is the shortest killer and she doesn’t kick the pallet with her foot. Spirit also isn’t that tall either and she uses her weapon to break the pallet. Instead of raising their camera to allow for more annoying blinds, let’s raise the Pig’s camera while she is crouched. Ya know, something that actually helps gameplay.
This helps gameplay aswell. What's the difference? Oh I see, one affects the side you play as and the other doesn't. Gotcha.

Different killers require different strategies. This is not a problem. Adapt.
Okay then why nerf DS? Adapt. Why nerf anything? Adapt. That is the shittiest argument and it seems to be very popular in the DbD community.

To be fair, the killer looks down at a pallet. Why do they get flashlight stunned at pallets? They're obviously not looking at you.
Because it doesn't make sense to have that only work on some killers when it's a valid technique to use. If blinding at pallets was a glitch, then I'd see your point.

Clown does not need any buffs, neither does the spirit, the hag, or Michael. They do just fine in games.
-
I'd agree with adding a __% higher chance to get a skillcheck each tier like unnerving presence. Of course, as to not nerf Freddy, that skillcheck chance won't apply to healing yourself.
-
I did, I just don't know where to send it off to. I just reported it in game, but I know for a fact that isn't going to do anything. Would you happen to know where I can send the video off to?Lowbei said:ahhh. you will have had to record this for action to be taken. -
Nevermind. After about 20 minutes of leaving it on the end screen the thumbs up/down finally appeared out of nowhere. That doesn't seem right.

A survivor and a Michael were teaming. The guy would get me off the hook right in front of him and block my way if I tried to use a pallet or run. Michael wouldn't hit him and the guy just kept getting us off the hook in front of him. Then Michael let him get the hatch after everyone was dead.Lowbei said:what are you reporting about, if you dont mind me asking?
