Lets be honest here. Both are as bad as each other. If the survivors had just been given a couple of good QOL buff and killers got buffs to perks to accommodate the survivor buffs, killers would be losing their s**t to.
Now personally I am not bothered about the changes, I'll adapt as I always do. I do look at problems from both sides and do my best to remain unbiased. But i could go back on many pages of the forums and run out of fingers when it comes to killer outrage posts.
Nah survivors are definitely more self entitled than killers but not by much. I've tried my best to understand survivors' point of view but i can't get around it. and i'm rank 4 survivor btw

I'm glad you don't generalize survivor mains to be entitled because I do know some survivor mains who are very appreciative of the developers.
I'm rank 4 survivor and killer and I'm one of the appreciative survivors. Can't say i was appreciative of some of their previous changes but definitely this one

From what I have heard, Stake Out is already bad enough that the compensation buffs are perfectly justified.
In my personal opinion, Prove Thyself was too powerful given that it gives the killer zero warning that it is in play. All you get is a vague feeling that the gens are going way too fast with no hint as to why or who is causing it. I don't think Prove Thyself should have gotten the compensation buff.
good point man but discordance would be good against it

Prove Thyself isn't getting that much of a buff. The Prove Thyself buff was only made to compensate for the co-op gen speed reduction.
Stake Out was never good and will stay that way.
ohhhhh yeah true

Intel perks work best on those 3.
Stuff like, Discordance, Whispers, BBQ, Nurse's, Infectious, Bitter Murmur, Deerstalker, Surge, Surveilance.
My Huntress build is: BBQ, Deerstalker, Dead Man's Switch, Discordance
My Oni build is: BBQ, Whispers, Mad Grit, Ruin/Brutal Strength
My Ghostface build was: BBQ, Surge, Whispers, Knock-Out. But now I only use BBQ now, since I find that GF can be a very obnoxious killer outside of basekit.
I find those to be strong perks to use on those killers and also fun too :)
ill be honest not sure about these builds but thanks a lot for the recommendations. try using infectious fright on oni to get the most out of your power once u have it :)

i'm rank 4 on killer and survivor and they're decent at best. a step in the right direction but not a big one

600hrs, my best rank was 3 then I stopped playing for some time. I don’t play longer than 1-2 months because it’s getting boring. Now I’m rank 8 but I never “try so hard” to get to red ranks (like 3 again or 1), again, I play for fun and out there are a lot of games i spend my time on.
Go spend your time on them rather than complaining about a game that's too boring
-
Also just exactly how long have you played this game??

Be able to play against rank 1 swf then don’t beg for a buff :)
lol that's the whole reason why we want a buff because legit nobody wins against swf at red ranks. Like i said you've never played red ranks as killer so you cannot complain.
-
so far it's okay. The fact that they nerfed gen speeds but buffed prove thyself and stakeout is kind of weird. I am a rank 4 survivor and rank 4 killer and with survivor the only trouble i have is with bugs and latency and with killer it's gens going too quickly. It's a step in the right direction but not a big one
-
I'm stuck between bugs and balance but chose balance cause bugs don't affect everyone but balance does.

Why not just revert Ruin but have it only on effect Survivors that have been hooked by the Killer once.
I think us killers need to stop relying on perks to make the game last longer than 2 mins. They are changing gen speeds anyway so don't think we'll need old ruin anytime soon.

So now all maps are getting super small? How is that going to make the game fun and balanced for everyone in the game?
-I have played in huge maps and still gotten a 4k as a killer now it will make it ultra easy for some killers to get a 4k in a small map.
- Anyone with the doctor, Legion or killers that put pressure could actually very easily now get a 4k in this small sized map since the doctor has been made so strong. This will just get annoying.
-A friend said that bloodlust should be eliminated if all maps are being reduced and loop areas are being nerfed. Makes sense. How is it fair that on top of getting loop areas nerfed, pallets reduced, maps reduced in size, now killers are also going to still have bloodlust to help them in a chase. Makes no sense at all
-If all these changes for survivors are now getting nerfed, the developers should start making nerfs to killer perks that with these changes are just going to be extremely OP and anyone who is a terrible killer will pretty much be able to kill anyone without even trying.
-Honestly tired of killer mains complaining of everything in this game when you still have to work very hard to escape some matches. I can play killer and still do really well without all this adjustments. The game should be balanced on both sides. I dont see survivors complaining that much about many things that are actually unfair but killers are always complaining about every small detail.
How will all this changes make the game balanced on both sides? It only keeps the game getting more sided on one side. In this ocassion it will be killer sided. Game keeps killing it self and killers still want more nerfs for survivors that will make the game not competitive and super boring. It should be balanced enough to make sure that both sides have the same amount of possibility of winning.
when did anyone mention the maps getting "super smaller"
-
Get to red ranks then say killers are op

@obamagaming99 which killer's do you tend to play more than others?
Huntress has been really fun lately aside from a few matches where i've been gen rushed but i definitely see lots of potential in her. Ghostface is fun when his power actually works and Oni. That's about it.

Try using Corrupt Intervention or Discordance if you find the early game to be tedious on big maps.
And maybe try juggling at the start of the game instead of hard commiting to the first survivor you find and injure.
People like to throw around the phrase "plaster-fix" so much, but let's be honest, if a perks function is to stop a certain mechanic that a particular style of player doesn't like or struggles against, then they should use those perks. For killers like me, I use certain perks on certain killers because they feel the benefit. Discorance on Clown, Huntress, Deathslinger, Wraith. Corrupt Intervention on Trapper, Hag, Legion. Certain killers feel a benefit more than others do in a refreshing way just by slapping a perk on them from time to time. Try my suggestions and then come back and say 'Old Ruin is needed to be brought back' or 'change gen speed' if you still feel the same way
i've tried leaving survivors once they are injured but then they just go do gens i just can't find a perk or strategy that works. Not a huge fan of trapper or hag but i might try corrupt intervention with someone else. Discordance isn't the best cause i'd rather prefer something that prevents them from doing gens together in the first place. Thanks for your suggestions though i always have a leatherface basement build as a last resort :/

It's all fun and games until deathslinger comes at you with noed
