Because anti facecamping isn't designed to give survivors massive advantages all the time.
Also you have to rely on your teammates eventually.
You might feel better when you're playing single mode game or else.
-
2 survivors alive hiding all the time doing nothing is also waste of time.
Don't deny both sides don't give up easily.
-
"This is boring" = "Nerf this"
-
I used to not slug for the 4K.
But there were many survivors (who found hatch first or won exit gate) wait killers then tbag.
Or spam vault/locker alarms crazily to make killer feel annoyed.
After experincing these often, I changed my mind.
People wouldn't slug for the 4K so bad if survior who escaped in bad situation (when 3 teammates are sacrificed/dead) didn't try to mock the killer like they're loser.
Also not to mention how killer grade pips are hard to get.
-
Hard to find pallets without Windows of Opportunity now.
Many areas that look like maybe pallet or window would spawn, but nothing.
-
I don't think Nurse is #1 priority atm.
-
At some point, the game started to lower the players expectation on new contents, updates.
Events are temporary, cosmetics & rifts mean nothing when you lose reasons to play.
-
You and injured teammates should reset and heal.
Perks like Bond, Empathy which read teammates aura and Botany Knowledge, CoH, Autodidact which increase healing speed will be helpful.
If he keeps slugging everyone and not even trying to heal once is a death sentence in solo queue.
And hope your teammates to go into locker before dying to prevent Knockout effect.
-
Because getting rid of single survivor fast is the best slowdown and it applies same to all killers, not only Wesker.
You’d prefer getting tunneled by Wesker more than other killers like Nurse, Blight, Pinhead with Original Pain or else.
-
In terms of uniqueness, no.
Considering how uncomfortable it is to play him, popularity, hard difficulty, yes.
It doesn’t take long to realize majority of people feel disappointed when playing him first and never consider playing him anymore.
BHVR leaving him untouched just proves this killer is another Twins situation.
Of course it’s not easier than Twins even.
-
RPD, Haddonfield.
I prefer old maps much more than current ones.
Current maps are mostly bright and don't give me scary vibes.
-
Remove basement and add hooks near where there should've been.
-
I think he deserves it. He won't be close to strong level even if he had that.
C'mon it's Trapper, give him some better treatment whether you like him or not.
-
I wouldn't mind nerf if 99 heal didn't exist.
Also there are survivors who refuse to heal and gain buff from Resilience so I don't think it's very problematic.
-
Don't try stealth while you are fully infected.
And start running as soon as you hear her terror radius. (keep distance from her)
Be stealthy when you are healthy and she picked up red puke.
-
Considering how face camping is more vulnerable to solo survivor than SWF, I don't think they got 'ignored'.
Also if you think solo survivors need to run certain perks (like Kindred, Bond) which SWF survivors aren't likely to use more and that's unfair, the problem is not 'solo survivors having disadvantages' but 'SWF with comm having huge advantages that give useful info perks for free'.
At this point, the main issues of solo survivor I think are:
1) They can't share what perks, item, add-on they use to others in lobby
2) Matchmaking that works on MMR which is invisible
3) Teammates that make hard to understand decisions caused by 2
-
They will be purchase-able 28 days after new cosmetics release.
Also, even if new cosmetics are full outfit, that applies same to those.
Except License characters or collaboration outfits like AoT, Artists of Fog collection

Sydney Prescott

No. I never thought Pentimento was a problematic perk.
Also I expected to see Resilience and Deja-Vu in any of unhealthy lines but not in any categories?

...Not struggling against your opponents makes you bad at the game?
I don’t struggle with MFT because I only play strong killers like Nurse, Spirit since End Transmission.
I am not a master or pro with killers I play but I never thought MFT is fine.
Even I suggested the perk shouldn’t come live server without any change in PTB feedback.
If you can deal with the users, it’s fine.
But considering how DbD maps are awful in terms of balance and how many killers are M1 simulator without mobility, I don’t think it is hard to notice why the perk is problematic.
-
To all MFT defenders:
If you think the perk is fine, you are just bad at the game.
Just admit you like it because it is a strong perk.
-
Because current matchmaking is more like ‘quick match’ rather than SBMM.
And if it ‘actually’ works as Skill Based Matchmaking, then queue times will take longer for sure.
The most lame part is you can’t see your own or others MMR at all.
-
They really should discard limited time cosmetics.
I still don't understand the idea of changing already existing store cosmetics into limited.
-
Money.
-
I think the perk is a bit overtuned.
But because DIstortion completely negates every single aura perks I don't think UW is problematic.
Just run Calm Spirit if you really dislike going against it.
-
Blight, Freddy, Twins and Billy are already on the list.
Probably it will be around March~July 2024 I guess.

@Crowman said:
Yes. There are some people who will harass you out of game and anon mode blocks them from being able to view your profile to be able to harass you.
Some people simply don't want to deal with that at all.
I think BHVR should penalize such people with long ban duration.
Also anonymous mode ironically 'protect' people who harass others.
-
You must hate Fearmonger too.
-
What a waste of time for doing that.
Seriously most maps have balance issues and making more variations won’t help fixing at all.
Also Abattoir change was unneeded.
-
Maybe they were disappointed with End Transmission DLC sales and decided to earn more money.
Funny how they released MfT on Shrine.
-
Most pallets in Borogo were super safe, so good riddance.
They should rework Garden of Joy and both swamp maps next.
-
Solo survivor has been worse ever since SBMM.
Better not think about surviving when playing solo.
-
Not much interested. Especially as solo survivor.
Don't want to play mediocre killers considering MfT after End Transmission.
SWF is fun but has so many advantages unlike others so I don't play more than an hour.
Starting to make me think that the most optimal way to enjoy DbD is just waiting for patches I hope I guess.
Also it is getting tedious because of lacking cotents/game modes.
-
Nowhere to Hide and Ultimate Weapon.
While I don't think both perks are either broken or overpowered, they provide massive benefit to mobility killers.
I would suggest :
NtH - show auras of survivors within 24m range of damaged 'generator' (currently the range depends on killer's location)
UW - survivors within 32m range of the locker (killer checked) scream and reveal location & 30 seconds cooldown
-
- Remove self haste entirely and give it to No Mither.
- Apply haste on the teammate you finished healing for a few seconds.
-
One thing I know is that you lose multiplier bonus when you exit game and restart.
Really wonder there should be 'consecutive matches' condition when they could do '2x for every matches'.
-
I prefer current more.
The problem is so many balance issues were still left untouched and finally some got changes:
Nurse, Spirit's MDR/Duration add-ons, Eruption, CoH, DH, removal of hook grab etc
but patches have been going so slow and others which need more attentions are still being ignored:
Blight's add-ons, hugely unbalanced maps, the killers that are weak & hard to learn/very boring/countered by survivors massively seem like they were forgotten from devs.
And don't forget they do terrible balancing like Borgo, Red Forest, Abattoir, Deja Vu and release new perks which feel like 2 perks are added in one.
-
The perk doesn't need repair bonus imo.
-
Just release 2 versions of DLC, one with exclusive/store skin (expensive), one w/o (cheap).
I have no idea why people defend new DLC price policy and think it is a good trend.
-
I still don't think the perk actually needed buff. (removing cooldown, aura range increased 20 to 32)
New cooldown description doesn't apply so probably just a random script bug eventually.
-
The original version was better personally.
Jonah's new falling sound sounds like he is dying.
-
Somehow devs considered Cowshed and Abattoir were more problematic than Garden of Joy and Borgo which is nonsense.
-
If basekit Kindred comes, killers should have some compensation for that, right?
The only reason I don't agree with basekit Kindred is BHVR will ignore killers getting nothing at all.
-
Does it really matter?
Fairness do nothing in DbD.
-
Yeah, 4th one was a bug during anniversary event.
BHVR should fix especially the 4th one and differentiate fast vault from medium/slow vault like before 7.0.0
-
Sorry to hear. But you have to ask Steam.
-
Whether people say "it's just his opinion", what he said is eventually true.
-
Kinda. He's soloQ destroyer like Pinhead when mostly going for Hit & Run style.
The things I don't like of him is:
He's very easy to tunnel unhooked person (after hooking hook trader) because of fast movement speed while cloaked.
His stealth basekit is close to perfect even with growling sound.
Kinda wish he had lullaby like Sadako but I don't think it will happen.
Annoying killer when playing solo but not a broken killer eventually.
-
Not easy. Need fast reaction to shoot slipstream.
Relies too much on maps because of many LoS sections.
Overclock doesn't always guarantee hit and requires precise timing.
Pre-drop destroys him a lot.
-
Pinhead with Original Pain - Just shoot unhooked person
Forced Hestiation (+ Save Best For the Last) - Down unhooking person and straight tunnel unhooked person
