I can agree with this aittude when the enemy team your fighting is playing for fun. However i disagree with claiming the owness is on the killer to make the game fun. Survivors define the tempo of the game just as much as the killer if not more and defines how the killer plays by the speed at which they push gens.

I often use slugging as a means to test to see what level of play im at. They continue to push instead of help i know a firmer more competitive approach is necessary.

On the statement of killers dropping a chase on an injured person. It is a very reasonable play the first hit is only half of the battle and as you know landing the second one is the real challenge. They could make it to the disturbed ward loop or a close equivalent to that loops level of power a simple well looped jungle gym can rob you of momentum. No comitting to the injured is not always the play. Acting like maintaining pressure is a sweatlord thing is really foolish.

You can make allowances but claiming ds only punishes tunnelers as your previous posts imply is straight up illogical. If your happy with tje cream of the crop walking over you and taking there fun wins then be my guest. I and many others will compete and "sweat" to turn those games.

Your perogative to make games fun is noble but it also assumes other killers don't mind getting beaten down by others who would abuse that kindness. Building the game around an exploitable perk and saying not everyone abuses just reeks of ignorance.

I Get attempted bullied plenty it just doesn't bother me. I know that 1) I'm a competent player 2) if the swf is strong the game is heavily favored to them unless i want to 3) play some lame ass killer like freddy or spirit with a sweaty try hard build. Well, I don't enjoy sweating my balls off like that or stomping into the ground 19 out of 20 teams just to make sure I have a fair shot against that one sweaty tean, so ill take my 2k while they sweat their balls off. The fact is this isn't an esports game, if we all just chilled the f out we could have more fun games instead of toxic

I think you dont understand pressure. I highly recomend playing killer if you think every unhook should be free. Play 20-30 matches and see what happens when you let unhooks go unopposed.

Answer you lose any presusre and slowdown you have. You enable gens close by to be worked on and pushed at a faster rate since there is two surviors together. Also and this is a concept many experianced killers miss as well your taking chases in new zones that have more defenses.

Part of why strats like slugging and pressuring hooks is the norm is that you place the downed survivor in a weaker zone where the survivor can't just pre drop pallets they need to engage with vaults and more difficult looping tiles.

Any time you alleviate pressure from a survivor your inviting a loss. If you let an unhooked survivor go they will often push gens close by. Many wont even bother with healing any time you let a survivor freely push gens you are making a mistake.

People issue with ds to this day is a survivor with ds isnt healing post unhook. He hoping on a gen and pushing the last 20% out on a nearby generator. If you stop then you get a slug if your smart and even then if they unbreakable it resets your progress.

You can't push gens and still have ds post unhook that is way to exploitative.

I've played hundreds if not thousands of killer matches. You win some you lose some, I'm not some turbo sweatlord that thinks if I lose a match I'm a worthless person and have to do everything in my power to win. This is hardly a serious game, if there is such a thing, i generally 3 or 4k using whatever killer even the crapper, and I do it without playing like a douche, I don't sweat for the 4k leaving the third survivor on the ground while I hunt for the 4th for 4 minutes, etc. I would rather lose playing fair than win being a tunneling dick, yeah ill go back to the hook if I got nothing else going on so I can get the unhooker, but the amount of killers I go against that will drop chase ON AN INJURED PERSON EVEN to go tunnel a person that was just unhooked halfway across the map is disgusting, or that I see on streams if there is no obsession tunnels off the hook because there is no ds and probably cries about ds here. Git gud Jesus christ, that person you're tunneling to feel better about yourself is a real person trying to play a game for fun too.

For the same reason as above, depending on context, but quite often it is done with the intent to upset someone and waste their time as much as possible. They wait at each gate; make you walk back and fourth between each of them to swing (and miss because they wait to run out) and then back to the other gate to do the same thing OR just wait the entire timer out.

The latter example, targeting specifically one person is actually a reportable offense. It takes hard evidence; but it is.

Spamming anything, a behaviour that is done with the intention of upsetting someone, because you KNOW it has the ability to do so, is an intentional act of causing grief to another person. That is bullying. Especially in the context I mentioned above.

Sure it's not something reportable because it's level of harm is low; but yeah, it does imply a certain standard of morality to that person in many people's eyes.

Whats your playstyle? Are you a mega sweat dirty killer or a fair player? I almost.never get toxicity because I treat the survivors like I'd wanna be treated, don't tunnel camp etc. But sometimes there is an idiot that will taunt you because they win. I chalk it up to them being piece of crap lovers and don't let it bother me. Everyone has bad games

  • My fellow killer dudes, if ds is such a problem for you, you are returning to the hook too often. Yeah you can get hit it with at other times, but if you think ds ub is anywhere near as broken as undying ruin, you're biased. Undyings aura reading needs to be removed completely

  • @Pulsar said:

    No.

It doesn't need a big nerf. Remove Undying aura reading on non-hex totems. That's all.

Ruin/Undying promotes healthy gameplay. If you are a tunneling/camping Killer, you won't get value from it. If you spread out pressure and move around, you will get a ton of value.

At most, you'll have to cleanse four totems. You could also cleanse two. It's RNG.

You can have to break all 5 not just four, three dulls, then you get undying, then ruin last. Has happened to me multiple times.

  • I always run hunch unless one of my swf does it to give me a break. What sucks is im also the best looper on the team so sometimes its hard to get er done while looping for three gens. But what it really boils down to is some killers are too good to spend the time finding and cleansing 5 dull totems. Thankfully most of those killers don't run noed, they use another perk that helps them more.

Well other licensed killers were also broken down to DbD mechanics or powered up.

Better words would be: they were translated to DbD mechanics and that is very well possible for normal killers.

also see GhostFace, Pig (Amanda) and Michael Myers. Then also take Legion in consideration. BHVR have shown they are able to create fitting and interesting powers.

Michael is not a normal human by any means. But as for the other two I guess my point is those killers have a mask, making them not seem really human, for the life of me I cannot picture jack torrance running around trying to axe people to death and hanging them on hooks, it seems ridiculous to me.

  • I do think that actually camping, like refusing to leave the area of a hooked survivor even when others are not around, should actually penalize bps, to the point where you can get 10s of thousands of negative BP from a match, and that these not only remove your saved bps but can give you a negative bp deficit balance that you need to work off to have bps to spend again. I personally laugh and find great amusement when being face camped as gen after gen pops when Bubba is staring at me, but I get that most people find it annoying, because it's the cheapest form of play.

  • I don't think that "normal" licensed killers fit in well to dbd. Jack torrance, Norman bates, Hannibal lecter, etc. The entity would have to give them some power, its silly, I cannot believe any license would entertain the idea.

  • You're complaining but do you have a better idea?

And for the guy that said get better at running, I'm easily the best runner on my swf. This gets me face camped more than anyone else, because if you have a bad enough killer that refuses to drop chase, but who isn't bad enough to get run for 5 gets and 1 door, they are also usually bad enough to camp me after they finally catch me because they're mad. They're mad because I wasted too much of their time. I'm not a toxic player, I don't bm, I just run for as long as I can, but the deck is heavily stacked in the killers favor 1 v 1. Even the best runners in the game cannot run a halfway decent chaser for 5 gets and a door.

  • Most innocent, spirit

Most evil, Freddy. He's a child molester that actually comes back to murder the children he molested because their parents did frontier justice on him. He's the worst.

  • Sounds like a good idea never considered it

  • The problem is that the two sides are so different, and its a 1 vs 4. Toxic killers force survivors to bring meta perks once they get tired of being tunneled down. Toxic survivors bully killers and bm to piss the killers off, making them not give a crap if one survivor doesn't get a chance to play the match.

I play both sides, the only time I will bm or bully a killer is if they are tunneling/trying to tunnel me or someone else. The only time I'll tunnel a survivor is if they bm or point me after dropping a pallet. Either way the other player is asking for it, I personally think its because of players that only play one side, if you know how crappy it feels to be on the other side of the behavior, you don't do it, unless you're a real pos or psychopath.

I don't care about toolboxes and keys if they are already on the lobby. But if I see someone doing a last second switch I just close my game to give them the longest lobby time possible. Hope they have fun waiting 20 minutes getting into a match.

The killer leaving has never added more than 20 or seconds to any lobby I've been in. Not that I advocate swapping like this but you aren't really costing them any time.

  • Charlotte has no terror radius while controlling victor anyway so insudious us useless, except once I saw a guy faking using victor with Insidious, he would look down near a hook and wait everyone thought he was controlling victor.

  • hellraiser. Pinhead with the chatterer as a legendary skin omg.

More iconically, however, this game will not be complete without Jason and to a lesser extent chucky.

  • The best is on an indoor echoing map

  • I'm on ps5, it never had a counter even though almost all of the other trophies do which is an upgrade over ps4 where all trophies didn't have a counter, but I definitely got it.

  • I got it, it doesn't update the progress when you get a stack of it so you've gotta just keep pressing forward
