Honestly rank means nothing in terms of matchmaking and I don’t need to 12 hook everyone, I don’t think anyone here understands what I mean when I use the term challenging. Victory, such as it applies to this game, is not at all the same as challenging, otherwise I would have use that word. And I do play without camping or tunneling in case you have assumed that I don’t

Just because matchmaker/rank system is terrible doesn't mean everyone should suffer more on top of that.
I don’t feel like one survivors group record has any relationship to the challenge of in game experience, but nonetheless the focus of the game ought to be delivering a challenging experience for whoever is playing

I disagree, I haven’t been using add ons and have had matches where I’ve killed a whole team of red ranks even with their flashlight saves. I’m not saying I’m 4K every game, but it’s way to easy for me against players that are supposed to be more experienced which is not what I expected from this game

Or play as nurse with no perks... that's usually a challenge for most players in this community.
I’ve played with many groups such as this and while they are more difficult, I’m still able to get at least one hook on them. I’m not surprised they are more skilled than me if they’ve got more experience than I do, but in random matchmaking hoping you run into that one group is not enough for me. It still leaves the majority of my matches feeling dissatisfied and I have no interest in kyf.

Atm 13 as I have not been playing as much the past 2 months but I still get matched with high ranks. That said I’m referring to those high ranked matches as not being challenging enough as the lower rank matches don’t even need mentioning

I won’t stream on anything as I have no interest in viewers. I did not say I’m always winning or refer to myself as one of the best, I said I don’t feel challenged has no relation to “winning”. I have no idea where you have drawn that assumption, but it is misplaced.

I don’t know what you consider a strong build, but I don’t consider my builds to be strong and I don’t use add ons. That said I should face a challenge no matter what build I’m running otherwise what’s the point.

But high-skilled tournaments show that the killer is loosing consistantly at that point.
I’m not looking for a challenge within a small group of people, I’m looking for a challenge in random matching which ought to be the goal of an engaging game

The killer moves faster than survivors, cannot be harmed, has a multitude of perks and add ons that can track survivors throughout the game and has powers that will always replenish as opposed to survivors items that deplete. The killer already has more power than any single survivor. Survivors that make killers feel like the killer is underpowered are players that have honed their skill and the same can be said of killers who are more experienced than survivors. It is the matchmaking system that makes the game feel unbalanced and it does indeed need work. If you feel you are underpowered in either role it is because you are not honing your skill enough, although I will say you need more skill and experience to escape as survivor than to hook as killer. This is coming from a killer main btw, I don’t feel like I’ve ever been properly challenged as a killer, even without using hex perks.

I feel like this killer was created for the sole purpose of camping without fail, shouldn’t need to really on that to hold your hand as a killer, just look for survivors on your own. There’s already so many aura perks for killers, if you need a killer to make camping easier for on top of that you’re never gonna learn how to get better
