If I recall, it was useful for that >48m Doctor rift challenge.
-
"Make your choice" promotes non-tunneling and non-camping play-styles.
Just FYI.
-
I always try to avoid tunneling but I don't mind to do it consistently and on purpose
Although, since I'm now slugging everyone, tunneling isn't exactly on the table.
My last few matches haven ended with one or two survivors bleeding-out and the others dying on their first hook.
Its' all fine.

Then complaining at you for slugging when you have no other gameplay options because they've never played the other side. They like to think they are clever and that they've gamed the system which in a way they have, with one exception. Doing something that is not allowed by the Survivors Rule Book ™. You are supposed to continually fail at hooking anyone while they giggle and laugh.
It's stuff like this (and other things) why I don't try on killer anymore. My rule is 2 hook everybody. If 3 generators have been completed before I can achieve this, everyone lives. If not, the best player lives and with the way matchmaking works and expects one veteran to carry three dead weights, this is usually extremely obvious. My rating basically tanks to a point where I can still get a challenge occasionally but survivors almost never try to do stuff like this and if they do, it is laughably bad attempts.
They can complain all they want. They weren't the one forced to watch them slowly die.
That's when a second monitor with Youtube can help.
-
The increased sabo speeds + the new map = survivors enjoying being slugged to death.
That's all.
-
I've already switched to a full-slug play-style as soon as there is at least one toolbox in play.
And I won't dare bringing a toolbox in the game either (and probably dodge if I have a teammate with a toolbox).
Let's see how it goes.

Can I just say while I'm glad they got rid of the red hue for this realm, it's too dark now. This is the only realm where I actively struggle to see anything
I glad they got rid of the red hue but I don't find it too dark.
My screen is supposed to be calibrated (I've used a device for that) so maybe your screen is too dark?
-
I'm eager to see it come back.
Chaos Shuffle was so much fun.
But the randomness must be for everyone, else it doesn't make sense.
-
As said in another post, I had to bleed out a survivor in the dungeon because there were no hooks left: she was un-hookable (and I've tried).
Something needs to be done.
-
Even better: allow to disable it altogether.

That was IT, i had some people i accidentally ignored, what a silly thing for that feature to not work. Thanks!
You are welcome.

Do you have some people ignored?

i'm fairly certain it is NOT bait and it's just someone in the process of discovering they need a new controller because their old one is not working at intended capacity
Makes sense.
-
Just in case this isn't bait …
I play survivor mostly on the PS5 and sometimes on Steam. I get the exact same speeds on both platforms.
-
I wouldn't like randomizing the killer.
Too many killers can't compete except at the lowest levels and with very specific builds.
I don't mind losing in Chaos Shuffle mode, but I'd still like to be able to do something relevant.
-
Ideally I'd say they should keep the mode live, unless an alternative special mode is activated (e.g. 2 vs 8)
And if another mode is as successful as Chaos Shuffle, they should have turns.
The dream, maybe : Chaos Shuffle 2 vs 8 (I mean: all at once)
-
@Venusa said:
I never played a single "normal" match since Chaos Shuffle
Same.
The randomness makes it more interesting and losing doesn't feel bad at all.
-
That game mode is great. I hope it'll come back.

sure if you want queue times to be half an hour long lol
No problem, if it rids us of people who ruins actual player's games.
-
I don't mind being tunneled as it keeps me away from the mind-numbing generators.
I love going against Nurse.
The only killers that are making me wary are the stealth ones.
And on the killer side, there is always a way to get some fun, especially given I don't mind "losing".
But my favorite games are against "bullies".
-
Here is a better proposition: double DC penalties and disable suicide-on-hook.
On my side, while playing killer, if I catch someone trying to kill himself, I bleed him to death. Just doing my part.

If I am remembering correct, the bottom part (leg/pants cosmetic) is suppose to have a towel or sarong around her waist.
Oh, I see. Thanks.

And what is the bug?

Some AFK killers are already doing this
Removing hooks suicides and not removing DC ban will result in almost the same thing, people will pretend to play and throw the match, but in a way that its gonna be impossible to prove that they are "griefing"That looks like botting or something. I believe it's a bannable offense.
-
My builds are usually geared toward chases and detection. I plan to kill faster than gens can be done.
I have no gen defense perks to speak of.
So yeah, I'll take the 120s.
-
My general rule is to try to not kill until only two gens are left. I try to avoid getting a survivor twice in a row but it's more a guideline than anything.
Whenever a survivor is annoying that way, I give him more attention.
Usually he gets more careful when he is on death hook.
Given your title, I thought you meant to speak about making it look like you are tunneling someone so the others try to protect him and get in chases for him.
-
One factor I believe is if the "survivors" can fight the "killer" or not.
It seem to lead to a guerrilla play style that is tedious. (e.g. VHS)
It's possible that having multiple killers alleviate the problem, but only time will tell (Killer Clowns something game)

Somehow nurse is the most susceptible to this, sometimes you can't hit a survivor who is literally at your face.
True, I love it when I have a survivor right in front of me, I see my blade going through him and all I get is a noise like if I have hit some block of wood.
I just love it.

Really didn't know good gonna suck when I have to leavefor something real quick
Well, if you have to do something really quick, you may not even notice the penalty.
The problem is when it happens a lot, which should not be the right time to game in a multiplayer game anyway.
I was hit because, once, I had some pressing matter while queuing and came back right at the end of the match. It was a pleasant surprise.
-
I get very different builds.
Sometimes I get a perk I already did but there is nothing weird about that.
-
@DredgeyEdgey said:
And before anyone makes this a us vs them.
The should be something done for afk killers
AFK killers are getting a DC ban, so there is that.
But for me survivors giving up is worse.
-
When I play survivor it's almost exclusively solo as my team has given up on the game around when Billy was nerfed.
-
Funnily enough, I encounter such builds from time to time.
They usually don't like the way it inevitably ends.
-
If they do that change, I guarantee survivors will die slugged for the foreseeable future.
I don't think I'll dare bring a toolbox either as it may make the killer more aggressive.
Ah well, we should know in about four days.
-
I've stopped caring for the lore the moment they've rewritten the Nurse's for the worse.
-
I seldom slug for the 4K but I almost always slug.
My goal is to get the last survivor and hook him.
If I find him again, the slugged one gets the hatch.
But I only do that if the match was somewhat competitive.
e.g. Chaos mode is pure chill. I often let a couple of survivors finish their gen and leave.

Oh, no I don't mean that, I mean it more like clown can swap bottles hag can swap the different traps and place them all in one game, without needing an addon to have a different flavor of traps…
Oh, I see what you mean now.

Would be nice if Hag had different kind of traps instead of the teleport only, so it would require different counterplay for each type of trap but also allow Hag to be more versatile.

Survivor stays in one spot so killer can just find and hook them when being slugged, gets crows while waiting, gets dc penalty: "should've crawled around, then you wouldn't get DC penalty."
Survivor crawls around to avoid DC penalty from idle crows: Killer "why do survivors crawl around when slugged, I have to bleed them out because now I can't find them."
That's a good point.
But do we know if it happens at all while slugged?
-
@CrypticGirl said:
But you still get idle crows even when you crawl around. It definitely isn't fair to get a DC penalty in spite of that.
It's not about the crows, it's about doing nothing.
I don't believe that one gets a DC ban when crawling.
-
Making it public is new.
It's an old program and the only feedback was : "it's useless".

Want a penalty to players who are not able to play the game by being slugged because they decided to tab out.
I definitely do not want to meet you irl.
Maybe they'll find in themselves to go away from the killer, go toward a friend, find the hatch, …
-
Got a couple of RPD last night, over 5 or 6 matches.
That's fine.

@LeFennecFox said:
It forces them to play longer reducing the number of games they can ruin. If I'm killer enjoy sitting on the floor for 4 minutes.
What I sometimes do is hook the waste of pixels next to a survivor, let him being unhooked twice, then slugged.
If the survivors heal him I slug him again until he bleeds out or disconnects.
At least the other survivors get some point in compensation for the handicap.
-
Points.
-
That's a great mechanic.
-
The show was awful (if I'm being nice).
The games are great.
Let's stick to the games.
-
On that video, as far as I know, there is no possible counter-play that'd get you a down.
-
You need to acquire solid game sense. (You haven't said how many hours you have in the game.)
After that, tunneling is usually a good way to slow them down, if you are fast enough.
I seldom tunnel but I slug a lot. It tends to slow them down. I regularly get two close downs before I hook.
On hard games, getting a bleed-out isn't rare.
