Name 1 killer power easier to land than weskers m2. There isnt lol.
myers and ghostface literally have to look at you to use their power, plague can spray and pray if she really feels like it + infect chase-related objects, and I'd argue chuckys power is a wekser dash with way less counterplay.

Bestie, you got 90 seconds gen, removed gen tapping, given -5% basekit kicks on top of many minor changes, go chase survivors and don't be reliant on 2-3 perks.
the killer can only chase one survivor at a time, that leaves all the others getting 3cps on gens without some kind of slowdown. Unless you're a good nurse then the average chase is ~40-60s in my experience as killer and survivor. -5s on one gen for walking all the way there and kicking it instead of starting chase with whoever was there does not offset that 40-60s time loss at all. There are killers with basekit slowdown and im sure their doing perfectly fine but most of the roster doesnt and thus needs slowdown perks.

Sprint burst for back up when you don’t have DH like before being hooked. Or after if you miss it and the killer loses you. Since you only get it twice. I will say I’m not great at survivor lol but it’s what I figure has the best survivability
You cant use DH if you use sprint burst, it requires you to be running and not exhausted to use, and with SB you will always be exhausted while running.
-
good, scamper had no counterplay.

Additionally, people think perk that activates for 60 seconds and has a 5 second stun is too effective and OTR having 80 second endurance is not? This does not make any sense
you know OTR is in play because you won't hear their noises so you can avoid it. Also an OTR hit provides less distance than a DS stun as far as I know.

It requires you to be losing the game. It's in the same realm as nerfing Coup and Fire Up.
unlike coup or fire up, it prevents you from losing the game with very powerful slowdown.

I think the hinder aspect was also a pretty bad mechanic. If we are going to say mft was too much speed for doing nothing then 4% for landing one of the easiest to hit abilities in the game is more than reasonable.
the hinder only happened if you didnt cleanse+wesker power isnt easy to land unless the survivors let it be
-
its healthy, a good exhaustion perk that isnt chase related. the only issues are the flashlight buffer period and phasing into the killer for undodgeable flashbangs.
-
if a survivor ends up unhooked in front of me, they almost always take a hit for the unhooker with their BT.
-
jessie as a survivor would go so hard.
-
as a whole, survivors have 16 perks and the killer has 4. I'd be fine witha 5th killer slot if they didnt already have their power, which DEFINITELY fills the gap lol.
-
yes please! more minigames when interacting with powers in general. Ex if im gonna spend lik 30s in my match cleansing uroburos let me do something fun :D
-
I could spent the whole match spreading hooks, using a meme build, and bringing an anniversary cake and I'll still get tbagged just because I was playing artist/blight.
-
shes a $%^&* to play against but is pretty balanced.
-
Lbertay Eskerway
-
maybe im biased since I use reshade (not for an advantage, just to make my game prettier) but I dont think that their cheating. Sure you could make scratches or red stain pop more but thats not really new information or changing it to an unfair degree. If filters could make a trapper trap bright pink (as far as I know, they cant but im pretty uneducated) then I'd consider that usage cheating. but I want my pretty colors so pls dont ban filters bhvr :)
-
I like the concept, but deafening doesnt do much. Maybe if it also blinded the killer for 1 second so you can get value off the deafen.
-
Most likely a comination of for the the people + buckle up which has become popular recently.
ftp: while healthy, instantly transfer a health state to another survivor (become injured, broken for 60s)
buckle up: reviving a survivor gives you both endurance for 10s
SWFs have been running it a lot lately. -

Considering the map Dead Dawg Saloon literally has a corpse hanging by a noose at the gallows on the map: I think it would be fine lol.
actually you're right, bhvr pls add this

Well, Killers already complain about playing against a full team of DC bots. Maybe they should be given a surrender option in that case.
And maybe, if Survivors don't want to play a 3v1 after a teammate gives up, they can surrender and end the match instead of playing (and suffering) it out.
killers def shouldnt have to play if the match is all bots. I get that the survivors wouldnt wanna play a match thats basically set in stone but that can be fixed by removing giving up on hook (if ppl just start going afk we can still replace them with bots after like a minute or two)

How it was a health hazard? I mean you say this like 110% percent of players have epilepsy. And I think nowdays basicly every single game has a warning about it, and if it not good for you then stop playing.
With that mindset all the other bugs can be health hazard since anybody can a hearthattack from example from a Myers.
And the problem is not that they are focused on that bug first - sure, even if you have no epilepsy it can be annoying as hell. The problem is that altogether it took 2 weeks meanwhile they have more then 2 people for it. And for thet 2 weeks none of the problematic perks/items/maps get killswitched which is outworldly.
So while they sort out their bugs I go play sth else. For sure. But to be honest then why I would give any money for a company where they cannot do the most simple thing and rollback until they fix those gamebraking and health issues. Or at least killswitch those things?
its a health hazard… because it causes seizures? The possibility that someone could have a seizure and die is 100% top of the priority list.
-
this is actually cool, the hanging might look too similar to a certain kind of self nflicted death for bhvrs tastes though :( BHVR has taken issue with before when they changed dead dawgs offering from a noose to shattered bottle)
-
plenty of survivors are already surrendering and taking their team down with them, giving the killer a similar option is a bad idea

I didn't say anything like that... But sure it could... If you hit all the greats during a normal Gen you will safe that or maybe even more, depending on your skill check luck.
you say it saves like 5 seconds in the post.

I mean it should be a reasonably long amount of time, but you surely cant disagree that holding hatchet so the survivor cannot leave the loop and chase until you get a guaranteed hit is poor gameplay.
Its not guaranteed, the survivor gains crazy distance around the loop and can crouch nearly instantly to dodge a (very telegraphed) hatchet. The longer she holds out the more time she wastes.

ONE PERK should NOT COUNTER FOUR
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/A0I1656Y3QO0/image.png
^ This perk counters more or less:
- Sprint Burst - hard counter,
- Lithe - hard counter,
- Dead Hard - hard counter,
- Background Player - hard counter,
- Balanced Landing - hard counter,
- Dramaturgy - hard counter,
- Head On - hard counter,
- Iron Will - hard counter,
- Overcome - hard counter,
- Smash Hit - hard counter,
- Bond - hard counter,
- Aftercare - hard counter,
- Alert - hard counter,
- Any Means Necessary - soft counter, survivors won't see the pallets,
- Better Together - hard counter,
- Blood Pact - hard counter,
- Circle of Healing - soft counter, survivors won't see injured survivors,
- Deja Vu - soft counter, survivors won't see other gens,
- Detective's Hunch - hard counter,
- Empathy - hard counter,
- Fogwise - hard counter,
- Inner Focus - hard counter,
- Kindred - hard counter,
- Object of Obsession - makes this perk only give value to killer,
- Open-Minded - hard counter
- Plunderer - hard counter
- Rookie Spirit - hard counter
- Samoteur - soft counter, won't see hooks,
- Windows of Opportunity - hard counter
The majority of the perks listed as hard countered work completely fine if you get off the gen for 6 seconds. WoO is a chase perk so unless the survivor is lasting less than six seconds then mindbreaker has 0 effect, etc etc

they should just glue themselves to gens and do nothing else
But it's just pointless to see gen being hit by PR into POP into another regression. Literally waste of time.
whats a waste of time is leaving your teammates to die.

Knowing how to find survivors is also a skill. You're drawing up the flimsiest distinctions here.
Distortion does nothing if you find them anyway, so why would 'git gud' not apply here?
by this sort of logic being tunneled is a skill issue because you didnt loop the killer hard enough.
-

including Survivor Meta.
Could you name some perks that are crutches to survivors right now?
I'll gladly equip them in my build, as I don't see anything with such synergy as, for example, this:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/RDVRUT7MXCSM/image.png
Or some perks that are just busted, such as old Ultimate Weapon or Nowhere to Hide.
Unless you think it's good that high mobility killers can just open the locker or kick the gen and see everyone in their terror radius.
UW has a 60s cooldown and is countered by OTR/distortion, and NWH is affected by the gen kick limit and is deleted by survivors prerunning.

I played anti hook with 3 buddies on badham… and I LIKED it ;-;

I think what some people don't realize is that of the four survivors, one didn't bring distortion. That is kind of a big deal. As they got tunneled out of the game because there was no other auras to read. That survivor got screwed over by their teammates who did bring that perk.
I never thought I would find a connection between DBD and natural selection but here we are

Killers have like 30 aura perks and add-ons combined. We can also ask the question, is it fine that killers can slap on 4 aura perks and know where survivors are like 80% of the time? No, that isn't fine.
If survivors bring distortion and you're not bringing aura perks, it's also a wasted perk slot for the survivors the whole round. So your argument doesn't mean anything.
If I get a plague when running a full healing build, I'm basicly perkless the entire round because I can't heal puked on survivors or myself. Shall I have the chance to change my perks ingame when I see a plague? No, that would be ridiculous. So is nerfing distortion because it counters aura reading perks.
80% of the time is a stretch, and yes its fair because they're dedicating their whole build to just info. bringing distortion is one perk that counters that whole build while being nearly totally unearned.
a killer power countering perk is different from a perk countering a perk.- killer powers are the core of their gameplay, perks are additions to supplement a playstyle.
- killer powers typically have built in counterplay, unlike a variety of perks
- perks are much weaker than a power individually.
so to say that plague countering healing is the same as distortion countering aura builds isnt the same. Plague has to infect you (which isnt hard, but neither is cleansing) while distortion has to exist for value (as long as they bring auras). One perk should not be able to counter 4 perks total.

Distortion has charges. It can and does frequently run out, even with 2 aura read perks. So it is not "just false" lol.
Mindbreaker prevents most lithe players from using it when they want to. Mindbreaker prevents most dead hard players from using it when they want to. Mindbreaker prevents most overcome players from using it when they want to. Requiring a player to walk for a few seconds during a chase is asking for a free hit, and most average players do not know how to counter mindbreaker.
as a distortion user, i can count of one hand the times I've run entirely out of tokens. (they were both vs scratch mirror myers)

And so they introduced finisher mori, the very thing that ACTUALLY stops ONE and ONLY situation where "unneeded" slugging happen.
But for some reason people complained like madmen, as if they have no tomorrow, despite that system not having any, literally ANY logical reason to remove.
Well I could be convinced to believe BHVR just couldn't make it look any better so they scrapped it, but if they seriously backed it because of "feedback" that was plain nonsense, it'd be most illogical decision ever.
the finisher mori came with the absolutely broken basekit unbreakable that would have made the game worse for every killer but nurse and blight. especially twins, they were unplayable on that ptb.
-
Thats how its meant to work. The wiggle system exists as a way for coordinated team plays to rememdy a survivor mistake, and to prevent the killer from scourge/basement hooking you every down. If wiggling could reliably save a survivor it would provide no counterplay for the killer other than slugging. its a team game after all, we should have to play as a team to prevent something like a hook.
-
I think with the recent DS buff, the otr/ds/dh build suffices for those who REALLY dont wanna be tunneled. That said, I love dolls covenant but I think it should have some extra drawback to both players involved. Maybe the player who gets downed instead is invisible to the survivors for a certain amount of time while revealed to the killer. It should also be earned in some way, maybe you can only bond a player if they've unhooked you? Overall though I think its a very interesting idea that could be really fun to use.
-
dms would be D tier with this unnecessary change. all its combos are balanced.

If these stats are from nightlight, I'm assuming you're talking about the bbq/pop/PR/nwh build with 71.2% KR. Its probably also worth mentioning that a build with just the unknowns 3 perks has the same number. Guess we should nerf all of those into ground too?
-
only as a hex, if ever.
-
isnt he 105% for the whole game w/out perks wih scratch mirrror?
-
nurse DOES have effective counterplay and has mediocre map traversal unless its an indoor/double floored map. they should bring back stun-fatigue and lightburn though, she could def use more…

maybe a hex that blocks every vault for 30s when cleansed, with like a 5% haste to boot, lower if needed.

E should be higher. If a killer complains about adrenaline, they're probably not doing a good enough job during the match.
if the average killrate is around 60%, then the gens are expected to finish around 40-50% of the time.

Adrenaline Counters (since we're mentioning it)
A. No Way Out
B. NoED
C. Terminus
D. Blood Warden
E. Kill surv before all gens pop
F. Hex: Devour Hope
G: Adiris
You're welcome.
how do NWO and blood warden counte adrenaline? they dont negate its effects in any way.
-
I usually like to take 2 info perks + NWO and a slowdown. Ex: blight build is lethal, bbq, nwo, deadlock.
-
If they wanted to make money they'd have released ptb twins as a the strongest in the game and let the sales roll in. or make their licensed killers op with all the meta perks.
-
theres certainly a lot going on with newer killers. To be fair its hard to stay simple and unique after seven years of development.
