Killer only now.
Survivor side with gen simulation boring boring boring.
One of the reasons I think some survivors are toxic is because survivor is boring and repetitive.
-
I don't tunnel but if I chase a healthy survivor and come across an injured previously hooked survivor it's a no brainer. Why continue to chase someone who needs to be hit twice instead of the injured survivor?
Outright tunnelling for me is boring but situational tunnelling is fair.
-
Boon placed, kicked, replaced.
Hex destroyed out for the remainder of the game. Totally pointless wasted perk slot.
-
It all makes sense now. The Marines all died in the second movie because they didn't jump through windows and run in circles around the corridors.
The devs know the alien's weakness was not heavily armed Marines but a Nancy running windows of opportunity.
How silly Hollywood didn't do their research and those poor Marines died.
-
I'm having a great time playing clown he's such fun even if I end up with zero kills.
But if it causes health issues it should be looked at although the whole point of the bottles is to hinder survivors vision and speed.
Tough one this to fix without nerfing clown to unplayable.
-
100% you're going down if you hinder or point out another survivor to me.
-
I play killer and very rare to wait longer than 1 minute. I think it's sometimes playing killer just isn't fun and more people play survivor.
But I can see a change to survivor queue times when alien comes around.
-
Ghost face is amazing in indoor maps and can be pretty decent in other maps.
He's my main along with huntress.
But if you're looking for fun and not too bothered about wins then Trickster and Clown are great fun for variety.
Both are very good with a killer main on them so there is potential.
I'm playing Clown a lot recently and having a blast. 1k or 4k or even zero doesn't matter fun is important in a video game not getting stressed. There's enough of that in everyday life.
Also, Knight is good fun too and can also be powerful.
Find a killer you like put in the time to learn and off you go.
Good luck
-
Alien is massive especially for people who were around when the films were released and still is one of the best ever suspense killers in movie history.
So it can go 2 ways. Fun and challenging to play or completely useless if survivors get the Marines motion detector so all the suspense goes out the window (or airlock).
Although it will ridiculous that Alien who goes through Marines for breakfast will not be able to catch a Nancy running god pallets and unwinnable loops.
But I'm looking forward until such time as I know it's another singularity disaster (EMP anyone?)
-
Simply I can't be bothered reading what they do I just don't care enough.
-
Play casual and enjoy the game. Don't stress about kills. I personally prefer multiple hooks to kills and often end with 1k or zero k. But I play trickster and he's fun if you're not looking to 4k.
Ghost face is my favourite especially on an indoor map. Love scaring the life out of survivors as you appear around a corner.
Not the best killers but as I said, I just have fun.
-
I'm very much on chase, hook, hit gens and break doors and pallets. I'd rather get 8 or 9 hooks and zero kills than play boring or camp/tunnel.
-
Knock me down with a feather duster. Advice given and not a "get good" in sight.
Take the good advice and don't worry about winning. Some of the best games I have as killer often result in no kills but much more fun to play chase and hook. Going for 3k or 4k is too boring.
If a win happens or doesn't happen makes no difference to me.
-
Survivor in locker 2 other survivors pointing when I arrived. I hit them both, chased one and left the locker alone.
-
Gen regression perks were nerfd into oblivion because of survivors moaning.
Killers are having to use other perks instead and I see countless posts asking for the most common of these to be nerfd as well.
Why don't you tell Killers what perks you want to play against so you can escape every game.
-
Bla bla bla
Killer needs to get better
Bla bla bla
Killer skill issue
If that's all you can comment on don't comment at all.
-
For me it's trickster, knight, clown and doctor for fun because I really don't care about winning.
Also huntress and sadako can be fun.
But ghost face is my absolute favourite.
Currently trying to get better with triangle heid (aka the executioner).
-
Don't use them because I can't be bothered reading what they do.
I don't care enough about winning or losing.
-
I played ghost face and had 2 survivors dc before I had even moved 10 yards then third dc after I hooked 4th survivor.
Go figure
-
Chill and play how you want. You're not playing for other peoples fun. Be toxic or not.
You choose and don't let anyone swing your decision either way.
Switch your messages off if they annoy you and don't go to gate at end.
I find it hilarious at the pathetic attempts to get me to go to the exit gate with locker spamming or fast vaulting.
-
My favourite perk is nowhere to hide. Great for finding hiding Blendette's. :()
But I don't know the solution. Survivors moaned about gen regression perks now moan about killers replacing them with other perks.
During the current event gens are faster than a F1 tyre change.
I enjoy the game but it's in a sorry state at the moment with both sides unhappy.
-
Ha ha op comment gave me the best laugh I've had in ages
You need to stop smoking whatever it is because it's having a detrimental effect on your perception.
But thanks for the laugh.
-
No issues on my ps5 with random perks.
I try to do my objectives as killer and don't go for kills so survivors get their rewards too.
Unfortunately, even when playing 'nice' I get t-bags, flashlights, body blocks at doors and sabo hooks.
Some people just can't play without being toxic.
-
Survivors moaning about regression perks so nerfd. Now moaning about perks used instead.
Tell you what, why don't you tell me what perks you would like me to use as killer so you don't have a bad game?
-
Play chill. Don't count on winning most of the time. I'm doing the anniversary with trickster which makes it difficult but fun. Almost as much fun as lightborn making the flashlight bully squads annoyed.
-
The only way to work out what the actual balance of the game is count hooks not kills.
People say perks are too strong against some killers and against survivors.
Hooks would give a better indication of actual killer game play. Kills mean nothing with survivors killing themselves on first hook, tunnelling and camping.
But unfortunately devs only think about kill rates so in the meantime op perks continue.
-
Quite simply he fun to play and is relatively balanced.
I could say the same for survivors. Never a match without a Meg, Bill and Leon. Mostly a combination of two of the three every game.
-
I run nowhere to hide and whispers as it lights up when survivors are within your blast radius so no need to waste it randomly.
-
Unfortunately you get toxic on both sides. I killer main and the amount of flashlights (thank you lightborn) is ridiculous.
I only do my objectives during the event because I want survivors to get the rewards too.
But some people just can't help but be toxic even when it's clear you aren't playing to win.
-
Spoiling your fun as a survivor.
What an entitled statement.
Killers job is to kill survivors. How they do it without cheating is their choice. Killer is not there to ensure survivor has fun.
Don't like it play something else.
And no I don't do it before you come back with some toxic comment.
-
Don't forget cow shed and it's many variations of awful especially for range killers
-
Played doctor for the first time in ages. Got a 3k and hatch escape followed by a zero k.
He's easy to play against as a good survivor.
Playing him I don't leave the house without the whispers perk. I know some people prefer distressing but the perk lights when survivor near and your getting a hit with his static burst or someone's in a locker if nothing. Routed out a blendette in all black hiding behind a log on swamp.
-
Map is awful and avoid main building at all times.
But Gideon meat plant for me is worse.
3000 pallets and soooo many god pallets.
-
What next? Nerf every killer perk?
It's because every regression perk was nerfd into oblivion that other perks have to be used.
Survivors (not the majority) complain about killer perks they get nerfd and then complain about the other perks used instead.
Why have a killer at all? Or take away his weapon in case he hits you with it.
I hate the constant nerf comments from both sides about stuff that doesn't need changing because you had a few bad games.
You win or you lose and play again It's that simple.
It's a video game do something else with your life if it upsets you that much.
-
Just seen a terrific video of THE most toxic streamer ever. He literally reports everything in the game. He gets downed reports killer for hijacking the game. Gets chased and downed reports the killer for tunnelling. Gets chased at all reports the killer for tunnelling. Survivor running from killer towards him he reports survivor for working with the killer. Constantly calls his fellow survivors useless pices of .... and blames them if he doesn't escape.
He hates tunnelling but as killer he tunnels survivors and if they loop and escape he reports them for cheating.
It's hilarious.
-
Had the same problem when trying to learn huntress and pin heid.
It's very difficult to learn a new killer as the mmr is set across the board instead of per killer.
My first game as huntress I couldn't hit a barn door from 2 feet let alone a survivor. I decided instead of going for survivors I practiced by aiming at a generator/rock etc to work out distances and timing.
You can practice with Plague by working on timing and aim. Practice spraying over an area, distance or concentrating on a specific item. Don't worry about hooks or kills in the beginning.
Stick with it as you will get better but it really sucks when playing a new killer.
-
Just play chill op and don't worry about how many hooks/kills. I played a game with zero hooks and the next game was a 4k.
Play your way with whoever you play.
There are enough things going on in the world and probably your own life to start stressing about a video game.
So accept defeat when you lose and enjoy the wins when you play a good game.
-
I hate Gideon meat plant with a passion.
The amount of pallets is excessive and of those the amount of god pallets is ridiculous.
Add in the various ways to drop into the level below and the map just sucks.
-
On ps5 I don't play killer at a high sensitivity as I don't like it which makes PC survivors 360 so much easier which sucks. But in 2 different games a pallet stunned me when I wasn't in the same post code of the pallet let alongside it.
I put it off after that. It's bad enough playing console killer without random pallet stuns.
-
I agree some maps are a big issue with Gideon meat plant one of the worst. It has way too many pallets and way too many of them are god pallets. Variations of corn on the con dreadful for ranged killers and shattered square hides scratch marks with all the red around the map. These are my least favourites but there are a lot of others I dislike as a killer.
-
My last 3 games as killer have had
AFK
DC at first hook
DC when 2 other survivors on one hook - hadn't even hit the player who DCd
Last 2 games were clown with no add-ons so absolutely no reason to DC. both were probably unwinnable with clown as one map was one of the many variations of corn on the cob and other RPD.
-
I did my first tunnel and face camp in a long time on a claudette who t-bagged at the first pallet on cow shed or one it's variations.
I mean really first pallet with all the skill it takes to run to said pallet and drop it - not even a stun. Golf clap for that magnificent move and well worthy of a t-bag.
Anyway she died and as ghost face was able to return the t-bag 10 fold.
Sad I know but blooming satisfying :)
-
Good points cakestick
-
I enjoy playing trickster he's fun and love his comments if you have the subtitles on.
But your right he's pretty rubbish on console.
-
Complaints are a good way to rant and feel better for getting something off your chest. Medicinal even.
But the toxic rants and the toxic reply from some is neither helpful or warranted.
Instead of constructive feedback to perhaps help a struggling or newer player you get stupid comments about skill level forgetting everyone was new to the game at some point.
If you think you're good at the game offer help or pointers not derision.
Until people realise this is a video game and nothing more than pixels on a screen I fear some people will rather just be toxic.
I'm a casual killer main - so casual I don't use add-ons because I can't be bothered to read what they do.
-
I tried playing "fair" by going for hooks and I ended the game with 2 on 2 hooks and 2 on one hook. With body blocks etc all 4 escaped. Granted I was playing ghost face but the gen speed is killing the game.
I don't camp but I understand why people do as on average a chase and hook = 2 or 3 gens.
The new scavenger perk is going to be a final nail in the killer's coffin - hope I wrong when update goes live but I have my doubts.
-
Have neither the time nor inclination to p100 anyone can't see why anyone would bother.
-
Remove the gas tank immediately before we have the looney tunes from stop oil blocking gens.
-
Totally agree. Pallet break speed would need to increase.
Imagine what playing meat plant with it's 300 pallets and 30 god pallets would be like with even more pallets being generated?
Bonkers idea that hinders killers with no anti-loop.
-
To be fair wesker is probably the best killer brought into the game. He's fun to play and is pretty balanced.
I don't play him a lot as I rotate my killer roster and currently having fun with ghost face.
It's just the same for survivors. I play against probably 6 different survivors in a hour or so of game time with same one's appearing in every game.
People have their favourites and that's fine.
