  • First game RPD

    Second game Swamp

    Third game RPD

    Fourth game RPD.

Guess which game survivor brought RPD map offering?

Yep you guessed it game 2. The only time I wasn't sent to RPD.

Thankfully msp offering didn't work as 3 out of 4 games In RPD was more than enough.

  • I love clown always have.

    But not anymore.

He's boring and his purple bottles are pointless.

Got 2 4ks without throwing a single purple bottle.

    Fix this mess.

  • Lightborn

Love it how it annoys bully clicking squads and hilarious attempts at flashlight saves from other survivors.

Waving them like a 5th November sparkler.

But I also go for hooks more than kills. Give me 9 hooks and 3 survivors escape over a boring 4k anytime.

  • I've only not hit a survivor in fog when I stopped to kick a nearly completed gen so I haven't found them very effective.

Not that the person I hit is necessarily the person who threw the vial rather it could be a survivor in the area.

  • Lightborn and slugging puts a stop to survivor bully squads nonsense.

No effect to flashlight clicking, no effect on flashbangs, no hook sabo etc.

They soon get bored they can't bully you and either try to do gens or quit.

  • The killer role is to hook and kill survivors and if the last survivor could unhook themselves it would normally result in a free escape with borrowed time and effectively make hooking the last survivor pointless.

Sometimes trying a rescue is a bad play and unfortunately sometimes that' means you're left on hook and die.

  • Funny thing is that I got RPD three times last night and the only time I didn't was the second game where a survivor brought the RPD map offering.

    Go figure

  • Agree I've only lost one survivor in the fog and that was to kick a nearly completed gen.

Not very effective or maybe as it's new survivors not using it right.

80% of the time I'm hitting someone' other than the person throwing the vial that were in the vicinity so I understand where you're coming from.

  • I've been to mothers dwelling so often I feel like David Attenborough doing a documentary about forrest creatures.

  • Did laugh when 4 man flashlight bully squad rage quit when slugged.

Had lightborn equipped so that obviously annoyed them.

Slugging isn't my idea of fun but it was necessary with their insta heals and it negated head-on and hook sabo which all came equipped with.

Funny how they intended to bully killer but when I had them all down they instantly dc'd. Can give it out but can't take it back.

But for me it's survivors running up to you before a single gen is done to get hit and hooked changing to a bot as soon as possible.

Spolis the game for everyone so don't play if you're literally giving up as soon as game loads.

    Very annoying.

  • Following my original post of games last night guess what my first map was today?

Marsh or swamp if you prefer it's actual title.

    Couldn't make this up.

  • Clown's upcoming nerf is a step too far for me.

Upgrade to his yellow bottles is a joke. Who uses them other than occasionally in a means to catch up or cross the map.

Nerf to his purple bottles make him pointless to play.

    Totally destroyed the fun.

As usual a killer neft nobody asked for.

I shudder to think what's going to happen when new anti camp tunnelling and slugging comes in.

M1 killer pick rate will drop to unheard of levels.

Devs are listening to survivors who want an easy game. What these whinging survivors don't understand is an easy game becomes a boring gen simulator.

Or be prepared to face top tirer killers every game.

Nerfs and updates are required but the devs are clueless and nerf the wrong things on both sides.

  • Disappearing survivors and getting blinded by flashlights even though I've got lightborn.

    Getting more and more frequent.

Devs need to do something if they can.

But it takes a special sort of sado to cheat in a video game.

  • Hooking is an answer.

Do away with all gen regression perks they suck anyway and make hooks regress gens.

Slugging became the meta game style because going for hooks can actually cost you the game as killer.

I only fear that in attempting to fix slugging camping and tunnelling the devs go too far and make the game insufferable for lower tier killers.

I've got a nice tea set on standby for all the t-bags I'll be getting if they don't do this change right.

Hopefully common sense prevails for both sides.

  • Yeah so annoying.

Had a great long game 11 hooks going for the 4k and bang disconnected.

    Annoyed is an understatement.

  • Killer is way more fun especially if you don't care about winning.

Your free to play your own game instead of relying on others.

  • Hasn't stopped the quitters.

Played 2 games last night and about 6 or 7 the night before.

In all bar one I had a survivor run towards me and stand still so I could hit them and after a hook save by another survivor follow me to be hooked again.

In 6 of the 9 games I was playing Artist who I'm not very good with but rather than try and probably win they quit at 5 gens in all 6 of the games.

Why bother loading in and spoiling everyone's game instead of playing something else?

I now just slug them and leave them on the ground but it's such a selfish act that hinders your teammates.

  • I usually don't tunnel but made an exception yesterday with a Kate who had windows, ds, head-on, sprint burst and a flashlight.

    T-bag at every pallet.

I eventually got a 3k but I made sure she wasn't leaving alive.

Tunnelling is boring but sometimes it just has to be done with a toxic survivor.

  • Haven't had this issue.

Very few repeat perks and definitely not within a game or two.

  • Yeah I'm currently recovering from a broken wrist and as I started to get some movement I found Trapper was playable as he's not a hit and chase killer and I didn't have to turn my wrist in a painful manner.

I'm on cast number 3 and have much more movement but I've never ever played survivor as I find the idea boring.

I tried the tutorial and didn't enjoy it so not for me but good luck in playing survivor and with your recovery.

Incidentally I tried the tutorial again last week where it gets you to do things in turn and the gen skill check was bugged. I thought I was just missing but it was exploding at the end marker of the skill check every single time no matter when I hit the button.

I thought I can't miss every single time so I tried when the skill check was at the far end of the circle and I hit the button at the start to see and yes it still went to the end marker and exploded.

Don't know if this is a bug or not but it put me off becoming a survivor.

  • People can choose whatever perk they like on either side.

It's not for you or anyone else to say otherwise.

There's a lot of survivor perks i don't like but I don't cry about it.

I play my choice survivors play their's.

People pay for characters and perks but haven't to use them?

You don't buy a toaster just to look at it.

  • Yeah killer daily rift is boring and 99% of the time it's done in first game.

I'm also going back to the original incomplete challenges.

  • I was actually looking at buying that skin but held off until I got more purple thingymybobs.

Glad I didn't buy because I got the skin for free and I've already got a trapper mask that fits in perfectly with the skin. I've also got a nice trapper weapon so I'm happy all round.

I got the skin I wanted without the need to purchase the head and weapon too.

  • Awful mode.

Queue up to 20 mins to play a 5 minute killer game? No thanks I've got better things to do with my limited ps5 time.

Hopefully it never rears its ugly head again until devs spend money improving loading times on normal mode.

Fifa and CoD you don't want to play a certain event no problem have instant access to another mode.

I get these are massive studios but surely DbD can spend some money on improving their game experience instead of churning out new survivors and killers.

  • I hate that console players don't have a try before you buy option aka PTB access.

It makes buying a new killer a lottery and often you get a nerfd version.

No doubt it will follow the usual pattern of sell for a few weeks until enough money has been made then nerf into the ground aka Ghoul.

I'm not saying Ghoul did or didn't need a nerf I've never played him but all recently released killers are nerfd too far because entitled survivors don't like a challenge and think they should win every single game.

Hopefully this one will buck the trend.

  • Trapper with well placed traps it's that simple.

Currently playing with zero perks and zero add-ons and having a lot of fun.

Only perk I occasionally use is lightborn if 2 or more survivors have a flashlight in pre game lobby.

  • Dreadful on console against turrets.

Wasted licence as 90% of time you're a m1 killer.

Turrets should have a swing of 180 not 360 degrees like a machine gun turret in a war game.

Numerous turrets and 360 degree swing ruined this killer.

  • I never touch 2v8. Didn't play the last time or the time before.

I played the second instalment a total of 4 matches and that was 3 too many.

It's awful and is always survivor or killer sided never in-between.

Queue times are ridiculous and not worth the wait for a game that can last 5 mins if you're lucky.

I've been playing the normal mode and whilst longer than normal wait times I'm actually getting some straight after the previous with no wait.

I assume because others are fed up and or bored with 2v8.

And hundred percent it lasts far too long as an event.

  • I waited 15 mins for a normal match as can't stand 2v8.

    Gave up.

If I don't want to play and event on cod or fifa I can instantly pick another mode and play.

    Dbd?

No you'll have to wait and wait and wait some more.

    Pathetic.

Hopefully they do something for the main game.

  • After clown Trapper is my favourite killer.

He's fun to play if you're not looking to win every time and survivors often underestimate him especially towards the end game where map size reduces to around last gens.

  • Despise 2v8 game mode and wait times.

It's either killer sided or survivor sided

Last game i played survivors were t-bagging at exit like playing with 7 teammates and escaping is a marvellous fantastic piece of skill.

And before you wet your pants some killers are toxic too.

I've never played this mode since.

Not surprised they nerfd ghostface. They haven't a clue how to run this mode without changing aspects of killer strengths.

He's actually one of my favourite killers to play but not enough to be tempted to play this mess.

If you enjoy it fair enough but I know others like me hate it and we'll see you on the other side.

  • Map offerings spoil the game.

I switched it off after getting autohaven 4 times in 5 games.

    Boring boring boring

  • I've never heard of this character as I'm sure other people haven't either.

Going on previous posts it doesn't sound like the game he was in was a smash hit which makes it a gamble fot devs to invest a lot of money in a full licence.

Looking at suggestions for his power:

Teleport - they are already killers who can teleport and using his camera is very similar to Sadako and the TVs.

Chest maw - Dredge mori exists. What would be different?

There's so many killers now that I think it has to be something or someone unique, which is getting harder to achieve, and going to generate money to cover the licence fee.

  • Turrets are horrendous on console reducing killer to m1 for the majority of the game.

They should rotate 180 not 360 so you can get past at the rear of the turret.

I've said before wasted licence. Alien should be a terrifying killer. Fast, wall/ceiling crawling acid blooded stealth killer. It's like behaviour never watched a single movie.

  • Didn't play at all on previous 2v8 and time before that played 4 games which was 3 too many.

    Awful game mode.

HHappily sit this mode out now and forever.

  • And miss out on the hilarious pallet vaulting and locker spamming survivors do in an attempt to have the killer come to the gate to t-bag and run out?

  • Thanks

Don't have an issue with perk just curious when i saw it on 12 or 13 out of 20 survivor builds.

  • I only play it for a hour or so a couple of times a week and thats enough for me.

I know others play it for hours upon hours a week and that's fine.

Personal choice is a great thing.

But gone are the good old days when as killer you could stand at the bar in dead dawg and survivors would queue up like customers before starting a chase. Like I'll give you a 5 second start and then I'm closing the bar to hunt you down for not paying your bar bill.

How some people get so angry at pixels on a screen baffles me. It's a video game nothing more nothing less.

Toxic end game chat because you lost a game? Sad.

    If i lose I lose. I don't care.

Toxic end game because you won. Sad.

I think Toxic winners are the worst.

Wow you won a video game.

Are the press waiting outside to take your picture? Are the tv stations calling for an interview?

    Spoiler alert, no they're not.

    NOBODY CARES.

Keep your toxic comments to yourself and accept you won or lost because you played better than the other side or they played better than you.

Nothing wrong with a gg or similar.

You are allowed to chat like a normal human being without resorting to primary school behaviour/comments.

  • All hooks should have gen regression attached.

Do away with gen regression perks as they're mostly nerfd into oblivion anyway.

There is practically no incentive to hook survivors and can actually cost you the game as survivors have so many second chance perks and anti- hook perks along with being able to stun the killer to prevent hooks.

I think the matches would be much better and more fun if hooks actually counted for something and the game became what it should be- cat and mouse between survivor and killer.

But this would require a lot of adjustment to perks on both sides so I guess slugging will continue to be the better option for killer.

Which is a shame because this game has potential that's overlooked for money from cosmetics and characters.

  • Whole alien chapter was a massive disappointment.

Alien: Fast, strong, powerful, wall/ceiling crawling acid blooded killer.

DBD: Slow and don't hurt me with a turret.

Absolutely rubbish especially on console where 90% is spent as M1 killer.

Map is okay with mix of inside and outside.

    But definitely a wasted licence.

  • Firstly where did I say he was a child?

    Learn to read.

Second it's a game. Pixels on a screen. He's not doing it in real life.

Third it's called a 4k. What do you want me to say that your tiny brain will comprehend?

Fourth he's on the Internet. So that makes it alright then.

Where does preaching to strangers come in?

Isn't that what reply is doing?

These replies sum up the idiots that post these type of comments in end game.

But I'll be sure to mention these replies to my work mate who set up a Christmas tree his son never got to see.

  • Thanks for the replies.

Not camping, the hits were in and around shack as survivors tried to save the one on hook.

No hits in basement at all. Closest was a second hit on stairs the rest went down outside shack.

    Who knows?

  • You took stats over 461 matches. That's dedication.

There was a lot of survivors who would dc in games against killers like Blight Nurse Skull Merchant Bubba etc.

Now it seems to be against any killer.

Played Clown and survivor killed themselves on first hook.

Ghostface survivor killed themselves on first hook.

    Hardly the strongest killers.

I don't know what the answer is to killing themselves on first hook.

But it must be infuriating for their teammates.

  • Sad simple minded little people.

Hiding behind a video game chat is pathetic.

You're already the bigger person and if you don't want to turn off chat just ignore the comments they're not worth bothering about.

Hopefully you experience better games and chat in the future.

  • I would love hooks to count towards killer strength stats instead of some made up percentage.

Killer gets 4 downs or dc /bleed out = 4k.

Zero hooks. Is killer too strong?

Unfortunately at the moment going for hooks actually hinder the killer hence the slugging meta.

If it was me I'd have ALL hooks do some slight gen regression and alter gen regression perks.

Make going for hooks worthwhile and make the game what it should be - chase and hook.

They can publish whatever rubbish they think is the killer rate but it means nothing if they are counting dc and bleeding out as killer wins/strength.

  • I like breaking them and Chucky's breaking animation is my favourite.

Don't play to win so don't care about breaking walls slowing me or creating a loop for survivors.

Removing them would make every map the same with nothing but pallets and windows. Bland and boring.

  • If you don't care about a 4k and play for fun then clown is my favourite followed by trapper ghostface and trickster.

  • Don't make me laugh.

Gen regression nerfd into oblivion because survivors didn't like it.

10 seconds extra on hook with next to nothing regression to counter said extra gen progression.

Limited gen regression to 8 hits.

    Increasing aura on certain killers.

Hooking that actually gives survivors second chance perks often resulting in a free escape in end game.

Boil over, flip-flop, pallet stun, flashlight stun, flashbang stun, body blocks, sabotage, ds are all available to prevent hooking.

Then they introduced shoulder the burden.

Just some of the things that show survivors are so hard done by.

NB: I have no problem with hatch as it can be fun running around the map to see who finds it first.

  • On console xeno is a m1 killer.

Too hard to hit turrets and nerfs will make it even worse to play.

    Total waste of a licence.

It's like the devs haven't watched a single movie.

No speed, no acid no wall/ceiling

  • I play ghostface a lot and indoor maps he's pretty decent but outdoor he sucks. Far too easy to take him out his stealth.

Thankfully I don't play that often and to the best of my knowledge haven't seen any cheaters.

Had games where gens went ridiculously fast but that could be just efficient survivors. Who knows?

Anybody over the age of 15 that cheats is just sad and pathetic.

Imagine feeling that cheating on a video game is fun. It's pixels on a screen give it up.

Sorry just remembered a game where first 4 gens went within seconds no way was that normal especially when 2 gens went before I had even crossed the map.

Didn't bother to do 5th gen. One just floated around on his invisible magic carpet instant healing any survivors I hit. And I mean instant.

The other 3 constant vaults and locker spamming.

I put on my music booted up my ps4 and had a round of everybody's golf.

I'm having fun whilst the sado's are still playing in a game going nowhere.

I flicked over between holes about 8 or 9 minutes later and they were still vaulting and locker spamming. Got to give them credit for the effort they were putting into cheating.

I just shook my head and returned to the golf game.

1 2 3 4 … 8
