  • I got blight on console a few days after he released but I've only ever played him like six times because of how hard he is to control. I usually don't care all too much about using a controller with most killers because it doesn't really hurt gameplay, but blight is literally unplayable with a controller. If only dbd had mouse and keyboard support for console.

  • This isn't even that bad, I got set up against a 4 man swf group who were all rank 3 or below as a rank 13 killer back when I first started. These kinds of games suck, but they usually only happen to me once or twice out of ten matches. You just gotta accept that the matchmaking sucks sometimes, get the game over with, and move on.

Might just be a bad night, or being unlucky, but I've just played a sixth game in a row and there was a key in all of them.

It wasn't like this before, has the mori nerf and the conclusion of keys getting nerfed soon as well made survivors want to use them before they get changed?

Because if so, I'm happy to tunnel and bring franklins lol

This. Had a game with Pyramid Head a few days ago where a 3 man group of swf (all red ranks btw, what a surprise lol) had one person bring a key and the blueprint offering that makes hatch spawn next to the shack no matter what. I was doing pretty good and had gotten all three of them to 3rd hook, but they all ended up escaping though the hatch in the span of 2 seconds, leaving the brown rank Jake to die alone (I ended up just letting him go too because I felt bad and knew I was gonna get entity displeased regardless). That play style is so incredibly unfun to deal with because unless you play like a freak and manage to kill two or three of them within 5 minutes, it's a guaranteed escape. No counter play is available to somehow make it able to be dealt with, and all it takes is one person to bring a key to do this, meaning that the other three survivors can bring instaheals or brand new parts to make it even worse.

  • I've been watching Better Call Saul recently and the intro theme has been stuck in my head because of it, not complaining because it's pretty catchy

  • The bloodied and torn blueprints have use for basement builds, and the annotated and vigo's blueprint have uses for using keys, but the problem is no one likes either of those because of how annoying they are to deal with. The only one that is remotely useful in a game sense is the sacrificial ward, but that one has a problem because it doesn't spawn enough for it to be useful. It's rarity should be brought down to yellow or brown to make it spawn more often, because almost every time I've ever used one it ends up being useless because there wasn't a map offering.

  • Bill because I like his Christmas sweater and I'm a big Left 4 Dead fan, and Ace because of his fancy cosmetics

  • I've called the lil guy a jockey since the moment I saw it and I will continue to call it that until the end of time

  • The fact that pop and ruin/undying are basically necessities on every killer is very harmful to the health of the game and can make playing killer feel like a chore. There are 75 killer perks in the game right now, and a majority of them are either underused or completely useless (monstrous shrine, cruel limits, beast of prey, overwhelming presence, etc) while the same 5 or 6 perks get used to death is a testament to bad perk balancing. The idea of making base gen repair progress slower and nerfing or reworking repair slow-down perks like that would be really nice because it would allow people to actually use other less appreciated perks and it would also give the devs a chance to make completely irrelevant perks useful.

  • Managed to down all four survivors in 30 seconds with a single corrupt purge on plague, I felt like a god for about 10 minutes after that game

  • For a survivor I'd have to say Meg. Adrenline can make or break close games, Sprint Burst is one of the best exhaustion perks and is annoying enough to deter most killers from chasing you at all, and Quick and Quiet is a nice perk to throw off killers while looping them in jungle gyms, especially when combined with Dance With Me and/or Lithe. As for killer, most people would say Plague and I'd have to agree, although Myers also has pretty great perks with Save the Best for Last and Play With Your Food (Dying Light is pretty eh and falls short of really doing its job well).

  • I never understood why it doesn't work like how hope works, the effect of the perk should trigger once the last gen is finished, not once the gates are opened, especially since the meta of the game basically requires you to 99 the gates if you need to help a teammate. I have a few builds where I run all altruistic perks so I would definitely would appreciate if it was buffed

  • This has gotten a ton of responses, so let me address some things. Yeah, the frame issues on console are terrible and I should’ve mentioned that in my original comment because that is definitely a big reason why I struggle as killer. I’ve had games on Lerys or games where the survivors bring tons of fog offerings where my frames have dropped to the low 20s. When the frame rate is that low it makes the game actually unplayable, no matter what you do. The mnk thing I feel like is just a preference for me, I know that most people can learn how to play the game with a controller and some even do better with one, but I find myself missing a lot of easy hits due to me not being able to flick on to a survivor that’s 360’ing me. I realize that I was being a bit over dramatic in my initial post with the whole “nearly unplayable” statement, because there are plenty of great console killers who have adapted to the use of a controller and learned how to play around the disadvantages. I’m not a veteran player or anything and part of the reason I don’t do as good as better console killers is because I haven’t really mastered all of the nuances of playing killer just yet. With play time comes experience and the more experience I get will help me improve my playing skills. There’s no doubt that console has horrible FPS issues tho, I hope they fix that with the new generation of consoles because it can make playing both survivor and killer pretty hellish
