  • I wish you a good grind bro, excellent choice. Imo having a p100 icon for a nieche weaker killer is a huge flex, especially if you enjoy playing them. Cakes will surely return, though the event starts 25th if im not mistaken. Good hunting!

  • No map offerings, that was a broken system. They should just keep the map showcase queue whenever we dont have an active event, with maybe only the newer/popular maps so we dont have to wait months for a certain map to pop up

  • Certainly not dead, but I do think they rather pursue new opportunities. There is currently a chapter 2 being worked on for an existing licensed content, however I have a feeling that all of the above listed IPs are pretty much done with for the time being, except for Frank Stone who I think was confirmed as an addition (trapper legendary I think) correct me if Im wrong though

  • Rephrasing perk descriptions and changing aura colors is apparently a higher priority than rewarding players for investing hundreds of hours in characters or making the game more fun and fair with the mmr rework. Likely completely forgotten, like so many things before. Makes me very sad.

  • I started playing when clown was released, forums I only started reading actively when twins got their trailer I had around 1200 hours back then if I remember correctly

  • Was this always like this for consoles? I have been playing dbd for 7 years now, pc and console, never realised the update was staggered across platforms.

  • How exactly is this even possible? I have never heard of something like this before

  • Depends much on build, map and skill level.Doc is only really good at tracking and kinda mid in denying loop when compared to other killers, has no mobility tool whatsoever which is always a huge downside to any killer. A good doctor can be devastating on certain maps though. facing an impossible skillcheck doc on small maps can be quite frustrating. In the right hands doc can win most matches against the average 4 solo players. Not so much against experienced swfs, such games tend to be difficult, sometimes outright impossible for him to win. All in all, doc is kinda mid i would give him B tier

  • Off the record butchered despite the fact that anti camp and tunnel changes were reverted? So you want to prevent killers from tunneling, but you revert all changes made against tunneling and nerf the best anti tunnel perk? Classic behaviour logic

  • I totally agree they should remove the clutter. I have thousands and thousands of offerings and addons i'll never use because 90% of offerings 70% of addons are straight up useless. I do not agree with the statement that keys and maps are useless however, using them is like having bond/ windows, both of which are very solid survivor perks

  • I think some ancient greek killer could work like Medusa, or some other well known creature, having a god like Hades would kinda feel out of place tho

  • Probably not bro, we might get some of the major characters as skin in the future like Negan or Glenn, but I'm 99,9% no second twd chapter coming

  • The biggest issue this game has is that it's unbalanced and stale, but in a way that literally cannot be fixed unless they rework core gameplay mechanics. And the best part is, I don't really think they care, and I'm almost certain that nothing mentioned above will ever be implemented, BHVR was never known for listening to community feedback you see. My best advice to you my friend is to have another game that you can play along with DbD, don't play more than a few matches a day, and hope that a better game eventually drops in the assymetrical horror genre that doesn't have the above mentioned issues.

ps.: don't lose your marbles over this. let them kill their own game how they please. stay safe.

  • well yes swamp is bad and all but RPD and Hawkings and even Midwich can be just as bad for both sides.

  • yes, now go farm those teachables for every single character in the game. I also have every teachable unlocked, and with 1347 hours played, I have exactly 4 killers and 2 survivors with every single perk unlocked, and like 2 other killers with almost all perks. But you'll soon realise you only need BT/DS/Iron Will/Unbreakable and Corrupt/Ruin/Undying/BBQ anyway xD

  • It will likely never change. The metaperks for both sides are roughly the same for the last few years, and I don't see anything happening that would change this. A new game mode with perk restrictions would definietly help with the stale meta, but let's be real, we won't ever get a new game mode. Also, don't waste your time writing posts like this. BHVR ignores what the players want (just like Blizzard did, look at how their games have been doing for the past few months) and BHVR simps will jump at your throath for saying negative things over their beloved game. You see, you are not allowed to have negative opinion in 2021 let alone share them with your fellow players. My personal solution to be able to keep playing this game is to only play on chapter releases for a week or two, then wait for the next patch to drop, rinse and repeat each time a new update hits. If you plan on playing this game each day 2-3 hours, you'll quickly get bored, especially if you play alone, especially in red ranks where matches tend to be extremely sweaty. This is how it is. I'd like to say it will get better but what I've experienced in the past few years, it will likely stay the exact same as it is now. Sorry my dude, no improvement is in sight as of now.

ps I'm not ranting. this is the reality whether or not you are willing to accept it. It hurts me deeply too and I wish it wasn't like this, but we can't do much about it other than accept the game as it is.

  • We are playing with 4 other ppl in each match. what's fun for you might not be fun for me. 4 survivors wanna survive, are they tryhards? killer using mori and NOED, are they tryhards? Is this how you call someone who does everything to succeed in a game? There is a counterplay for ALMOST everything. Hate NOED? do dulls. it takes 70 seconds plus running time to do all 5, which is not long taken that a random player usually spends minutes wasting time. I only play duo and there are no totems left after 3 mins into a match cause we take them as priority. as of DS, just respect it. It is needed, because there are ppl out there who deliberately want to ruin survivors' day, I have escaped facecampers and tunnelers millions of time using DS and Deliverance. BUT ITS NEVER A GUARANTEE. The stun lasts 5 seconds. You might be at a terrible spot when you are able to use it. When most of the palettes are gone looping becomes more limited, especially towards the end of the game you wont pull off a loop so clean like you would at the start, especially against zoning killers like the Hag. This game cannot be balanced. Not until the queue is separated for solo and premade survivors. having someone to communicate with, an extra pair of eye essentially can get you godhood in this game. This game was never meant to have a mode where you can play with friends in the first place; it was only implemented before the release of beta (or sometime before the actual release, cant remember), because let's face it, this way they have more players. Premade teams should get serious restrictions to make up for the fact that they have voice chat. Also please don't forget, that Assymetrical games like this one are especially hard to balance, and are usually doomed to death. I think we should be grateful for what we have now, This game is much more balanced than it was.

PS. Im survivor main. And I love you Killer mains <3. if you want to reply; i'm not trying to pick up a fight, I admit the game is and always was survivor sided, but I am curious of your thoughts

have a nice day, and remember. Stop bashing each other. This is a GAME. you play it for joy, and relaxation. If you ever feel frustrated, just take a break. it can work wonders, trust me.

  • Taken we are being chased by killers that are beyond our understanding, I wouldnt say it would be farfetched really. I'd be really happy to have some of these perks to have really strong effects, but strong downsides as well, like you get 1 extra hook phase, but you are permanently broken or something like your first 2 heals are instant but afterwards, you are unable to heal anyone in the trial. It would fit perfectly into the lore too, since the entity is feeding on emotions such as hope and despair. I mean what else would give hope than getting actual help from your "abductor". I also disagree with Superyoshiegg. These survivors spend an eternity with each other. That's why we have teachable perks, because lorewise they "teach each other to survive" the trials ahead of them. All they need is to introduce characters with heavy involvement with the supernatural, like the protagonists of conjuring, or the winchester brothers from supernatural, and the list can go on especially due to the simple fact that they could make an original chapter revolving around this. I hope Behaviour reads your post and builds on your idea!! (hi Mathieau :3)
