We decided to make a safe haven where we can safely have discussions about this game and other common interests without being given out to and banned which unfortunately happens to a lot of our members who offer constructive criticism and the mods and devs aren't a fan of that. Spread the word for #JusticeforUndeddJester who got banned despite being one of the most friendly people I have interacted with on the forums. I gave up on posting here a long time ago because I know the consequences of having an opinion here. I don't even care when the mods ban me for this post.

My best advice is antspur rapier with a bleed infusion to make the fight last significantly less time. The boss is pretty weak against scarlet rot.
Otherwise, a shield with 100% damage negation is the safest (but most boring) way to beat the boss. Poke until death. Almost every attack is blockable.
Strafing to the left is recommended to evade almost every attack. It makes the fight significantly more bearable.
Do you have problems with specific attacks? I know that phase 2 can be a bit "overwhelming".
I just get horrible RNG. He always spams those attacks like the meteors that afterwards changes his attention to me and does his follow up clone attacks. There is another one where he does an attack with his swords and sends out massive beams of light that seems to be undodgeble. Also overwhelming is the understatement of the century. I have resorted to using NPC summons which I do use in ds3 just because they feel more connected the story buy not usually in ER. Thanks for the stats I am currently using dual +10 bloodhound fangs and now have no ancient smithing stones left I think 🐽😔.

Congrats!!! I also just beat ds3! I can give you a ton of tipps for the boss. If you want to. Beat it like 8 times by now. Each time with a different strategy.
There are strategies for each type of playstyle. Just let me know how you play.
Oh no way I loved ds3 so much except for a few bosses. Also strats for SOTE final boss would be appreciated.

I also probably have some sort of body image issues because I’ve been told for a long time that I’m an attractive person, but I’ve never seen it and always considered myself below average or average at best, despite others claims. I’m not trying to sound like I’m bragging I’m sorry if I am I’m not good with socializing.
Why am I mentioning any of this? Because recently I’ve been on the downswing and it’s been bad, after forgetting to take my meds for a few days (I have really bad memory issues, probably caused by anxiety overloading my mind) and that has resulted in me listening to a lot of sad depressing stories about people’s lives, mainly cheating and relationship drama stuff, considering my past relationships have been very problematic and ended with me sinking a ton of time in for nothing but rejection for problems I didn’t know existed and people wanting an open relationship and even asking if they could hookup with somebody (I’m very sensitive to stuff like that and it makes me feel inadequate as a partner) so I’ve become very depressed after this, I’ve stopped listening to these stories don’t worry (I may be stupid but I knew they weren’t healthy) and am getting back on my meds but my hormones are way out of wack and I don’t think I can handle being online like this for a few days.
In case you’re wondering no, I don’t self harm and have no plan to commit anything, I have talked to professionals, and I have meds. I just needed to rant.

Thats what I use but it is a SM perk so beware you may have to get her but it means you could potentially get a 4k in the endgame alone if you are very lucky.

Also thank your advice @UndeddJester on elden stars I could see what you meant about it being almost undodgeble and your advice as well @radiantHero23. My friends who has the game was in the same boat when he first fought it and told me everything he found on our holy grail Google. The sympathy also helped. It's a shame because I feel that as a mandatory boss it drags the game down and I didn't get the sense of achievement as I did with Melenia.

I did it I beat the final boss. I switched from mimic to tiche and respect to use Maliketh's black blade.

The bosses in the dlc are more aggressive and have longer combos. Their bigger health bars are not a problem though. You collect specific items along your journey that improve your damage output and defence drastically. If you keep up with those items, the bosses feel just like the base game.
Edit: The bosses in the dlc are also a lot better than the base game bosses in my honest opinion.
Maybe I will get it. Hard is better then just annoying like the Elden Beast.

I feel Elden Beast drags the final booss down for me a lot. Radagon would have been fine. Just give him a second phase or a bigger health bar. Then make Elden Beast an optional final - final boss.
The real terror awaits you in the dlc. The final boss there is a true nightmare.
I don't plan on touching the DLC with a 20 foot pole at the moment I googled some of the bosses and they have more health then Malenia or Radagon+Elden beast put together.

Elden Stars isn't likely to kill you itself. It's damage is low, the problem is it overloads your senses and distracts you.
You can't hear much with it nearby, and it's very visually distracting. The only challenge of it really is accepting that it'll hit you and ignoring it to ensure you dodge any of the other attacks Elden Beast throws properly.
I also agree Radagon can be a pain. That lightning teleport of his "Gives me conniptions"
I know right they are both a huge pain and for me anyways they have dragged the game down. Originally I thought Morgott was the final boss and then I thought Godfrey was who would have been perfect. Radagon would have been fine or it should have been where you get them down to half health which I know makes very little sense but seriously.

For me I think so far Radagon is the monster since he drains all my resources and gets my mimic low or kills it but I googled it and I haven't got Elden beast low enough to see elden stars yet. The lowest I have gotten him is 50. Also just before I went away I levelled up and now kill Radagon every time. Is Elden stars that bad? The beast is really annoying all ready since my mimic and most of my flasks are gone.

I whole heartedly agree. Malenia is the greatest From Software fight ever imo (DLC pending).
Elden Beast is crap. I rage quit for like 2 months after fighting that thing cause I was so annoyed by it. It wasn't too hard, it just annoyed me that much. I then beat it with a friend to finish the game, and now I spitefully sign in to Elden Ring every now and again and help other players beat it.
I know its move set back to front now... it never gets better as a fight, it sucks, and I must have beaten it over 100 times now.
The only times it's remotely fun is when it gets into its close range attack loops and doesn't dive away.
Ofc it's hard programmed to use the ground explosion thing, which once you know to jump over the rings, is boring AF and just a time sync.
Elsen Stars is by far the most annoying, cause you can't really dodge it actively, you just have to run and eat free hits, basically ignoring it as best you can and watch what EB is doing.
I have enjoyed sending it to the Gulag many times 😣

As i said, phase 2 is just run and roll, mostly run…😓😖. That's the best advice for completing it. Elden Star just run like hell from it. Since you're melee you can stand under it's hand as it casts and the run right. I'm pretty sure you can also run from front to behind it to dodge the attack. The move is also on a timer so if you can make it past the first casting then you shouldn't have to worry about the 2nd catching you off guard.
Golden shockwave rings just run and jump over them
Sword attack face with delayed roll or you can just run out of range
Any of the combos just try your best to out run the attack, safe spot from hitbox, or out of range by running once you see the wind-up or any other tell signs.

Elden Stars is the sun ball that follows around spitting out sparks. Though the rain from the sky used in conjunction with the light slashes is also nasty, but I'm not sure those attacks can layer, I feel.like that has happened to me once, but Im not sure... if they can layer it's rare... but uber nasty 😒😒😒😒
I heard in the patch notes they allow you to summon Torrent now Vs. Elden Beast? A nice tip is have additional item quickslots if you hold triangle/Y, that you can set in the top right corner of the pause menu. I like to bind Torrent to triangle + Dpad-right to use him quickly in fights.
Would be interesting if Torrent can out run/jump over all of that crapola... 🤔
Yes that's where I have torrent the problem is I am a melee build and my mimic is dead, I have very few flasks. It is a terribly designed boss fight in my opinionbut maybe it is just me because all I hear is about Malenia who still took me 15 attempts but this boss has taken over 25.

My mimic is always a sliver of health way from death after the first phase and in the 2nd phase he keeps running away and torrent keeps dying and then I die from the magic slashes he sends at you. Help me please.

I really don't get people saying killer is hard in this mode. From my experience most of my matches, especially the ones I have played with my buddy, are complete curbstomps. Survivors don't do gens and go down extremely fast for the most part.
Agreed and you can't blind or stun a killer to free other survivors I have only had one game where it was less then a 6k and survivors get in instantly so it doesn't bother them as much. I fund it really hard on the survivor side personally and find killer much easier in this game mode.

I have to master her! I'm determined to be just as terrifying as possible to people as Pigs have been to me. I have many Killers to Prestige, but they will have to wait.

I am very close to giving up on survivor besides rift challenges not to be a hypocrite about the whole rulebook I have just been tunnelled non stop. I despise tunnelling and camping as in my opinion it is basically you giving up on actually getting good at the game. Not to mention if I didn't disable non friend messages I would be getting messages saying ez. Maybe 2v8 will be better.

The amount of entitled survivors that exist is absolutely mind blowing. I remember a while ago I was playing a match as Mandy and 3 of the survivors gave me boops and another one kept trying to blind me. When they were sacrificed, they sent me a message saying that I'm so bad that I need to focus on one survivor and he also reported the other survivors for working with the killer when they were off doing gens or participating in boops. I love doing boops and all but obviously they don't give as much blood points and if a survivor does not want to be friendly then that's fine but I swear that rulebook gets bigger every match.

I have only just started getting them now that my accounts are merged and I am back in my PS lobbies. My xbox ones since I didn't play that much were pretty chill. Since I have received about 10 sets of toxic messages from survivors and killers. I have now turned off messages from random people on Xbox. I always had it off on PS but forgot on xbox.

Im currently on my 6th/7th playthrough.
Its an amazing game that is as hard as you want it to be. Exploration is rewarded heavily with tons of items and weapons that will help you against all kinds of enemies.
In this regard, Elden ring is the easiest souls game I have played this far. You can of course make it a lot harder for yourself and ignore most of the good stuff and rush the dangers with only a club.
The base game is not that difficult. Most enemies have clear patterns and only some bosses are truly bs. One piece of advice I would give you for your first playthrough: if you are facing a boss, dont rush anything. Take your distance and watch their attack patterns. Most enemies can literally not keep up if you start running away from them. This strategy will give you a lot more time to learn the patterns and will eliminate a lot of frustration on your part because you dont die as fast.
Another advice is that you should not stick to a boss for too long. You can always go, explore, become stronger and come back to kick that boss harder than they kicked you before.
The dlc is a little bit different. Bosses hit a lot harder and are a lot more aggressive and fast. Due to the dlc being late game content, this should not be a problem for you though.

So if you're nervous about giving up, as a Dark Souls elite snob gamer myself... ignore any instruction of things being off limits. If you wanna use spirits or summons, or use broken build combos, do it. People like me are dorks who try to gate keep the ER experience. 😅
My main advice to completing Elden Ring is do explore to your hearts content, but remember the game is huge. The main beats of the game are rewardingly challenging... the side areas have a bit of a tendency to be slapped together and cobbled out of other parts of the game...
This can mean the quality of fights can swing wildly to painfully easy or ridiculously unbalanced and annoying.
So if a place is extremely frustrating to beat, it's probably not a skill issue, but a wildly imbalanced set up 😅

Pretty much what a Boop enthusiast in terms of visual and sound - design could wish for.
In terms of voice lines, I would prefer lines that are not too frequent but very iconic. Maybe every head pop could have her unique" game over" from saw2.
I don't like how Wesker is basicly talking the entire time. Pinhead is the perfect balance I feel like.
I would actually love that. It would also fit into the lore as that was her first game she did herself.

Apologies if I misunderstood, but if you are sharing DLCs via Steam's Family Sharing: Your account does not own the DLC and therefore it will not be shared to other platforms. As for Perks, they are considered part of your progression so they would be available on other characters as long as you've unlocked them.

I've tracked down an answer for this, and it's good news for you: Because the perks are unlocked by progress and because that progress is transferred, you'll have access to the unique perks even without re-purchasing the characters.
This is a bit of a stupid question but I was checking what accounts I have linked to my BHVR account in preperation for cross-progression, and it turns out I have the wrong Playstation account connected. If I were to unlink it would it be possible to get the 60 days cancelled?

My first port of call would be to check you can sign into your PlayStation account on PSN. If I remember right BHVR uses the various login plugins for each service, so just check your account in fine.

Next try clearing all website cache and cookies for your browser, just to make sure something weird isn't cached. If you have, or you don't wanna do this you could try using a different browser, like Firefox or Edge.
Is it the symcvthats failing? You could try unlinking and relinking, but I'd read the FAQ first to make sure you can do that safely...
Otherwise it's a support ticket. I didn't know they'd actually enabled synching accounts yet... it's brand new for console, so maybe has a few bugs.
Thanks for the advice but it didn't work and have not heard anything back from support. I forgot it is actually new so that would explain it. I don't want to risk unlinking as I would have to wait 60 days which I don't want to risk. I really hope support doesn't take as long as last time.

Like I have it linked bit when I checked to see if both are registered in my library only xbox.
And when I tried syncing it 5 times throughoutthe day, this comes up.
I'm trying to do this now so I have most of it done when the servers explode on Monday.

If this is not fixed soon god will not be able to save BHVR from this piggy 🐷😡🔪.

My fellow pigs, as soon as cross progression seems to have escaped my grasp. My playstation account with my precious Mandy 🐷. Maybe instead of changing the character and customization menu they could have fixed this. BHVR you have screwed my over already this year with Sadoko don't do it again here for my sake 🐷🙏.

The same is happening to me but I have not unlinked it just in case. I have emailed support hopefully I get a reply soon. I really hope it is just a glitch.

Her default head is massive so she has a rather large top that goes along to make it fit.
On the other hand, her new Anni outfit has a super tiny head to fit inside the body piece and if you put on her other bodies it looks like she got a shrunken head after a recent trip to Madagascar or the jungles of the Amazon…
