Yes comms is easier but if you inv a random they more than likely won't join. I also don't join if someone invites me but that's because I'm a recluse.
I wouldn't say console is the same unless you mess with your settings to get rid of chat boxes.
I actually switched from console to PC for the chat boxes. It's nice to send a killer a GG and if there's salt it's only for a certain duration. On Xbox if you bum someone out it's spam until block, sometimes insert smurf for more spam (this is rare) now granted I've only been on PC for 3 days but killers have been nicer in chat even if camped or tunneled.

Perfect mantality to have. I'm not a fan of tunneling but I am fully aware that for some it is necessary
Now I do have to say if it's game after game of tunnel and camp then I'm going full sweat and 0 f***ks BUT I also realize that some killers have also reached that point from previous games and I was the luck pick. However if that's your playstyle 24/7 I suggest switching it up killer/survivor it's nice to TRY and have fun. Plus sweat equals showers which mean time away from DBD so chill lol

I would say that if they are just sitting next to the hook and farming you the instant your off then its BS. But when it comes to tunneling and chasing the survivor that was just unhooked it falls on the survivor to outsmart and get away from the killer. It's not the killers fault you cant seem to get away, of course he is going to go after easy prey. He is the killer...that's his job. I'm not saying if you get tunnled your bad. But cussing out a killer for tunneling you is the equivalent of the killer cussing you out for flashlight saving. He is gonna go for the easy kill just like you are going to save your teammates every chance you get. We are better then this, this community is so riddled with toxicity. Everything is something to complain about. I love this game, I love butt dancing at the door. Even I'm toxic as heck. But when it comes to the basic concept of the game. Complaining about infinite looping and tunneling are essentially just complaining about surviving and killing.

I would like to add as a final note that I am not trying to attack any individual and this isnt ment as an attack at all. I just want to continue enjoying the game. I've been on the opposite end of tunneling so many times. I've escaped tunnelers and I've fell victim to them. But I understand it. This Toxic Nea that butt dances not nessicarly to be mean but for fun that just needs one more hit to go back on the hook is gonna be the obvious choice versus the laurie that has DS. I just hope people understand

As a fellow Nea main I too have spun the killer to death and looped until daylight. I am not a killer main in anyway, but I hate tunneling. You will not see me butt dance or flashlight spam... But if you tunnel and I make it out, don't look at the exit gate cuz I will butt dance until the very last second or you down me. If I do die to the tunnel though, I'm not gonna say anything, imma move on. Same with being camped. I'm gonna laugh and move on

Ping is unreliable tbh, especially the old ping that PC had where it says it's green in-game but spikes to Yellow and Red in-game.
Tbh, I never based how bad the connection was or how good it was off ping alone, but it's indeed the base-line.
That's fair, I was just commenting because the person said "it's the survivors fault for staying in your lobby" when some of the worst lag I've experienced was green ping

Ah, well than it's not that different in terms of controls with PC for Survivor either.
Mouse moves the camera, M1 (left mouse) is held down to do generators, skill-checks are done by pressing the space bar (or whatever key you want it to be) when the needle is on the great or good skill-check spots, you move with WASD like Killer, except this movement has more momentum to it.
Anything else would be holding Shift to sprint or holding left Ctrl to crouch, you unhook Survivors with M1, etc, etc.
Think of it like this, whatever button your controller was associated to is set accordingly for mouse and keyboard, while 360ing is harder to do on PC... that's about the old difference that comes to mind in terms of controls.
I'd just go to the controls setting and read up on what buttons work with what you do in-game, but I believe I covered most of what you'll need to know, as the M1 is the equivalent to the same button you used to work on generators, same with the skill-check button being space on PC and Shift being the run button on PC while on controller I believe it just makes you automatically run with the joy-stick being held all the way at the end.
You'll be fine, nothing drastic for the Survivor side of controls as well, if anything the only thing you'll want to change is the mouse sensitivity a bit, otherwise that's about it...

How TF do you look behind you while being chased lol I'm sure it's easy but everytime I moved my mouse while running my whole body turned. I feel stupid lmao

On Xbox we can see your ping. Ill Dodge if ping is over 250. I get suspicious when I have green ping and mid Chase lag across map

It's a simple concept, move the camera with the mouse and press M1 for lunges (you hold it down or tap for a lunge attack or fast M1 attack), you move with WASD and hold Shift to sprint as a Survivor and Ctrl on the left side of the keyboard to crouch.
I use the basic settings, and I have 1.5k+ hours into DBD on Steam, so you don't need to do anything drastic. Some advice though, set the Q and E keys to move your camera left with Q and right with E, this will make it easier to move with Billies chain-saw Sprint or Oni's Demon dash for example.
Other than that, that's all you honestly need to know...
Oh I'm a huge survivor main, I doubt I'll play killer. Just trying to prepare for whatever I can

All reasons I've heard or been yelled at for.
Survivor- flashlight saves, flashlight clicking, tool boxes, genrushing (with or without toolboxes) pointing, teabagging, looping, DS, BT saves, body blocking.
Killer- camping, proxy camping, Mori, tunneling, teabagging, hitting survivors on hook, slugging, noed, gen camping, 3 genning,
Not all of them I consider "toxic" just what I've gathered XD
