If you took the time to read the post he is blaming matchmaking and asking for advice on how to deal with SWF...

Enjoyable as a spin off.
I just think the story has got to a point where it's completely ridiculous now. Original resident evils had a sense of realness about it. These have just spun off in random directions. The 2 best characters didn't get enough screen time. Miranda was just a extremely dull character...

Totally agree. The best experience I have in this game is around green ranks. Survivors know what they're doing, generally, but they're not dicks about it.
Unfortunately hitting purple tends to put me with red ranks anyway.
Yeah, that's where it starts getting rough. I tend to just meme around at that point with a weaker killer, normally Legion just for farming bloodpoints!
That and the occasional red rank swf that ass blast me into oblivion!

I never understood why anyone would want to get to red ranks anyway to be honest. It's generally the place where people take the game way too seriously. I think the perfect spot is between purple and green, or that's certainly my favoured rank. It has the perfect balance of fun and challenge.

Short answer is, you will never stop camping and tunneling.
It is literally impossible. People will still camp and tunnel even if it means you get 0 BP.

The grind is unbearable.
I've given up chasing perks, it makes you lose interest in playing when it takes so long to get the perks you want on a killer unlocked; let alone have to then fall to RNG that said perk shows up in the blood web.

Lady D was a complete and utter let down, the face of RE8 and was dead within the first quarter of the game in one of the most anticlimactic boss fights. If anything Heisenberg was the more interesting character.
I personally would prefer the OG tyrants, or even Birkin. The tyrants had a job to do whereas Lady D just killed to survive.
P.S We need a Duke costume for clown!

Not to mention we do not even know what Ethan looks like.
Really enjoyed village but i feel the story has just got to the point of over the top and no longer feels like a resident evil game.

I would like to think survival horror but with SWF added it literally broke all aspect of immersion and horror. Turned into more like a circus.

OP already paid for the console, the game, and the internet connection. Why do they also have to pay for the game to use their internet connection? See my example with the air freshener.
I see what you are saying but like most things now days, everything costs money. I mean PS Plus has been around since 2010 so it's not like you would not be aware of this before you choose to buy the game. You are paying for an online service that has been the norm now for a very long time. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and so on.
The game was also free on PS Plus so there is that factor as well.
If you're not happy you could always spend a couple of thousand on a PC and play online completely free.

I'm really hoping it's none of the characters from RE7 or 8. RE8 was fun but does not feel like a resident evil game anymore. The story is just getting beyond stupid now..

Exactly that.
In all honesty the only buff i wanted on clown was projectile speed for his bottles and possibly making his bottle arc a little better. I still every so often throw bottles nowhere near where i want them to go! With that said i don't take this game too seriously anymore and can only stomach a couple of games at a time so i'm probably not the best judge!

The problem is with crossplay turned off; you are only matching against other series X and possibly PS5 users because you have improved performance over the old gen. Due to the stock issues currently it's a very low player pool.

I personally want Mr X because he was absolutely terrifying, even more so in the remakes. Nemesis would be cool but they would have to remove the weapons and just use his tentacles; and he would certainly need the Stars voice line!
I don't have a huge issue with Jack Baker but i also didn't feel like i was playing resident evil when i played biohazard. It felt like a complete separate series.
