Disappointed that no adjustments were made for this perk from PTB.
True that.
I am also mourning Streetwise' old effect.

Franklin too... It was my favorite perk, and it's now completely useless :(
Streetwise too… :(
All I wanted was the old effect back.

Were these bugs fixed?:
Plague audio bug that plays her power canceling audio whenever she uses her power.
Hag/Trapper bug where they can't place traps in the Ormond main building.
Houndmaster bugs which removed her stun voicelines, made her face be wrong during moris, and causing snug to get stuck on things.
-
So... you want to completely remove the corrupt purge, and replace it with a completely passive mechanic that Plague cannot influence.
Do I get that right?
-
I have something similar in mind.
Keep the number to only 4 (6 for Hangman's Trick), but make it so in each quadrant of the map, there is one scourge hook.
Basically, RNG can still screw you over, but not in a "all 4 hooks are in the same corner" way.

Unfortunately it's a cheat that changes maps realms visual look, plus he was fov cheat
Basically all comp players have dedicated shaders for each map, and they seem to not be in problems.
To the topic, yes, you can use shaders if you want to.

A "Stay command".
He will stand in place, jumping at any survivors near him. Only for some time, and then he comes back.

You can put the worse comp team against any pub player and the pub players will be eaten alive.
Saying comp players are not better than pub players is insane, when its obvious who actually can win.
Example, the highest win streak in the game which was against pub players with NO restrictions nor rules, would not be beaten by almost 1800 teams of pub players, and the ones to end it were a comp team. If that doesnt tell you that even without restrictions comp players are vastly better than pub players idk in what world you live in.
Not every comp player is in the best of the best bracket.
Some of them are just… decent. Except you don't notice those that much as the top dogs.
The worst comp team may have just joined comp last week and installed the game 2 months ago.

This is by product of the bug that you can't place Trapper or Hag traps on the first floor of Ormond. My theory is that some reason the floor texture is little bit higher than the real hitbox ground and so preventing the placement of traps than in certain spots. This also causes Hag traps that you can place to appear under the floor. You can currently run around the first floor not be afraid of traps at all really there is only few zones you might be able to place them. Next to doors like in the video is one of the rare places you can place them or the edge of the wall that has the bar window.
I added logs to earlier report of this but it got closed for some odd reason even if I provided logs for the report as the reported was PS4 player and those can't add log.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/J8DM8XO1Z4AE/deadbydaylight.log
This needs to be fixed Trapper and Hag are already in disadvantage in Ormond they don't need to lose their power in the huge main building too.
I was just searching for this exact thing.
I can confirm, almost the entire ground floor of the Ormond main building does not allow traps to be put down.
The only place where I could put them is behind the bar.

NO! What do you mean no more masquerade events? BOO TO THAT!
To clarify, we will get more aniversary events, but Tryks and her stuff got the boot.

Comp DBD do this to come as close to have no RNG as possible.
This is also why they ban most perks that have random elements to them.
Side note: I do not believe that comp should work as an example of what DbD should be like, it is a separate thing at this point, and if we balanced based on comp rules, we'd have to delete half the game mechanics and lose most of the playerbase.
-
Playing as, Blight and Unknown.
Blight is so clunky and difficult to maneuvre, I feel like I would have to throw my mouse out of a window to get him to turn properly.
And Unknown… my aim sucks, so most ranged killers aren't my cup of tea. But add the bounciness and unpredictability of the UVX… and you get my point.
Playing against, Xeno.
-
Now, I played him last time on the PTB, so I'm not exactly up to date with him.
But, I like these regardless.
Maybe aside the vault and cancel changes, those don't seem like they are needed to me.
-
It should be a bit bigger, especially the upper part.
It's a neat idea on paper, but it has severe flaws.

Riffing off top of my head, but...
I wonder if Tombstone Piece being reworked to only allow you to Tombstone a survivor with less than 10% remaining (2 stalk points) would work.
This is actually quite tricky to do. If you assume Myers stalks 1 survivor only to tombstone ASAP:
- There are 20.1 stalk points per survivor.
- Myers takes 3 stalk points to get out of EW1 (17.1 left)
- To get to EW3 takes another 20 stalk points.
- After losing EW3 Myers has to stalk 5 points. If he tombstones he has to make an additional 5 stalks.
Hopefully this illustrates the problem... the numbers make to actually stalk someone below 10% AND get EW3 is actually quite tricky... especially if survivors identify the Piece and jump in a locker so it screws with Mike's timings.
I initially suggested fully stalked... but when you think about it, this is basically impossible to fully stalk a survivor AND get EW3... so this doesn't make sense....
This might be a decent compromise for Tombstone Pieces power.
I didn't notice this before I commented almost the same thing myself.
But I agree with you.
-
Judith's Tombstone is fine, even kind of weak at the moment, as it requires 4x the amount of stalk as normal, and it also slows him down heavily.
What is not fine is Tombstone Piece. I firmly believe it should only work like this:
- Fully stalked survivors can be Tombstoned.
As every survivor has 20 stalk points, it requires 4 tier-ups to even get to this point (hence why I didn't attach the former downside to it, as this would make it easier to get).
If this was still too much, there would be an easy solution: Make stalk recharge in some way.
-
Licensed:
- Jason, preferably in a full chapter with a Camp Crystal Lake map.
- Sister Madeline from Evil Nun: The Broken Mask (really niche license, so not that likely)
- Any character from Dark Deception.

idk based on my stats kindred has a 54% escape rate. that's pretty good. but clairvoyance has a 74% escape rate so i run that instead.
That's probably because it shows the Hatch to you.
and also unlocks window techs.
-
They are right.
Solo Q, especially in the lower brackets (basically where I'm stuck perpetually because I play survivor very sparsely), is a show of completely clueless people.
So Kindred is VERY useful, so you can see if the other players are willing to save.

It sounds like they are badges but they get more frames (idk what they mean by "frames") as you go up. Therefore, lower prestige should have a banner, just with less frames.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/UMF5CP3YW11Q/1000030646.jpg
Hmm…
Well, I hope that they chose to not tell us about everything or are preparing a bit more.
'Cause personally, I have enough badges for every occasion, so a bunch more doesn't exactly excite me.
Still, better than nothing, and people who have P100 mains will be very happy.
edit: Yeah, they should give us banners as well.
-
I doubt that we "missed out on the chance".
As you said, werewolves are staples of horror media. I'm certain that we will get one eventually (unless we stop making original chapters altogether for some reason).

I just think it's tad bit hypocritical to keep deep rift fomo all while rejecting adding proper rewards for endgame progression (them reluctantly revealing theyre working on badges as p100 rewards because "fomo bad so we dont want to give anything of value)
I really, REALLY hope that the P100 rewards will not be only limited to P100, but also other levels like 75, 50, 25…
And that it won't be just badges.
-
I think they do want to do this, and they even mentioned it in the AMA if I remember right.
I would also throw in colors of rarities while we're at it.
-
It's always useful to avoid a 3-gen.
Imo, the perk is fine.
-
It's not even live yet.
Hold the doomsday posts until we actually see them in action IN THE REGULAR GAME.
(plus, they may have already nuked them, so this entire post might be useless)
-
I agree.
It's only recolors anyway, and it's the same as if they gave the legacy cosmetics to everyone.
-
You would hate to see the old ones.
Swamp, Red Forest maps, Haddonfield, Shattered Square, Eyrie, all of them were shrunk in the past.
I would argue we have more of an opposite problem, maps like Forgotten Ruins, new Haddonfield, Midwich kind of, ect. are too small.
-
Improving the tutorial, updating Shrine of Secrets, making the DbD wiki accesible through the game, reducing the amount of bloodweb clutter and updating base perks, all of this would help newbies a lot.
-
Over the pre-PTB version, maybe.
But it is kind of a win-more perk now.
The only thing where it's good is playing against a Haywire Singularity, and the odds are not that good, so...
-
Hey! I have finally found the time to look over this. I will only comment on those that I have strong opinions on.
Batteries Included seems too unnecessarily complex. Just a slightly bigger numbers could do nicely.
Bloodhound still seems a bit busted to me.
Love the Blood Warden buff. :)
Genetic Limits is fine as is imo. The Blindness is nice, but I don't think it has to affect everyone.
Haywire seems like a nightmare waiting to happen, thanks to killers like Singularity. The door opening less is great tho.
Haunted Grounds shouldn't expose you every time a Hex gets cleansed. The rest is good.
I like the Hex:Retribution and Shadowborn reworks.
Undying is fine as is imo.
Love the Hoarder and Insidious buffs.
Predator, same as Bloodhound. Unlimited wallhacks are a bit much.
STBFL would be better with the numbers buffed instead.
Territorial needs a complete rework, imo.
Undone could be made to only affect good and great skill checks, to further make it not a win-more perk.
Funny how both your Appraisal and Any Means suggestions made it into the game in some way.
i love the idea behind Better Than New. I would be cautious about the numbers tho.
Boon: Dark Theory is the same story as Territorial imo. Reworking it entirely is the best solution.
Borrowed Time and Babysitter are fine as they are.
I like the Corrective Action.
Finesse is fine as is. Lightweigh unfortunately also needs the healthy condition. MfT should not come back. Reassurance is also ok as is. Residual would be a bully squad tool.
And lastly Saboteur changes are good except the one where it shows broken hooks as normal ones.

It gets deactivated at the moment you start healing yourself, however it does not if someone heals you even into full heal.
Well, that's odd.
I wouldn't mind the stealth effects staying, but the endurance too? Seems like a bit of an oversight.
-
I sincerely hope history won't repeat with your favorite killer.
Currently, I have no motivation to buy her aside fro perks, and even then it's mostly Leverage that interests me.
So, I hope they can listen to the community well.
-
Out of my rotation, 3 killers are unusable rn or just bugged to oblivion.
Spirit because the quiet mode exists.
Houndmaster is bugged.
And Plague has this awful audio bug that is just chipping at my sanity.
-
I didn't even know it didn't deactivate when you get healed. I thought that is a conspicous action.
Well, the more you know.
-
I would say about 500 - 700 between all my unlocked characters.
I still have some from last year, so I don't need to hoard as much.
-
I would make it an off-brand Decisive, maybe something along the lines of: When getting out of the killer's grasp, their power goes on cooldown for 3/4/5 seconds.

Both Swamp maps are unacceptable, they have always been in an unacceptable state. They are abusable by both sides, they make some killers like Pinhead or Artist or Houndmaster borderline unplayable, and on the other hand they have the most absurd 3 gen potential in the game. They are too big, the structures are too strong, the list goes and on and on.
These maps must be reworked. From the ground up.
They are so thoroughly rotten that moving a window around, or rotating a building, just won't bloody cut it.
They must be redesigned, period. There's no other realm as awful as Swamp in this entire video game. No other realm even comes close.
It needs to go. BHVR must swallow its ego and its pride, and realise that not everything they produce is made of solid gold. Swamp is abhorrent. It cannot remain as it is.
I think the playerbase was three times happier when it was killswitched due to a bug some time ago.
Artist, yeah, I know the pain well.
Houndmaster and Pinhead tho? Not sure why they should have problems.
Also, if we disabled Swamp, we would probably not see it for a year or more.
-
Mangled and Hemorrhage should be permanent.
Also perks like No Quarter should get buffs.
-

You will have to hit 5 GREAT skill checks… and that alone can take time. Maybe you'll actually get enough skill checks, but will you land all the greats as well? And then, if you blow up the gen, might as well kiss all the benefit you were trying to get from another toolbox goodbye. But on top of that, the -50% penalty to repair speeds?? Why?? That alone feels like it completely guts the entire purpose of the perk. Unless… I don't know. You really just wanted to use it to refill a sabo toolbox??
That was caused by some people (Otz) saying it might be a lot, and was nerfed in the following update.
-
No Quarter should, imo, also give you skill checks while Mending. To spice things up a bit.
-
Aside Haywire, which proved to be quite a bad design, both Undone and Awakened Awareness can be buffed in a way where they aren't OP.
AA can be buffed back safely if Nurse gets the nerf to not see auras while charging blinks and blinking.
Undone needs a rework honestly.
-
Looks good!

While we don't have any to share, add-on passes are certainly considered where appropriate. If there are any Killers you feel would benefit from this (and if so, don't hesitate to let me know why you think this), I'd be more than happy to note this down as feedback for the team!
I think the main ones are Nemesis, Demo, Bubba and Deathslinger.
Oh, and also Myers, his add-on selection was the same for years.
-
I am just waiting for the s***storm that will come with them.
-
They kinda made the situation they tried to fix worse.
Now instead of spamming purple bottles, he will spam yellow ones.
-
I would say Surge is good, since you will mainly down with M1, and Coup is good, since you conserve tokens by using your power.
Maybe also Hubris, since people like to stun you out of power.
-
It's more of an issue with the killers themselves, not the perk.
Plus, sometimes slugging is purely strategic.
-
I half agree.
One thing is that some items really do have a lot of worthless or arbitrary add-ons.
The other is that 5 is way too little. 7 or 8, fine by me, but only 5? And especially since Maps/Keys had less addons to begin with.
And the last is the fact that while BHVR cut down the add-on selection, we now have 3 nearly identical Flashlights, Maps and Fog Vials, and 4 identical Medkits.
