  • Honestly, no. Adept Killer achievements used to be 4k only, and then they changed it to Merciless Killer.

Yes, it's difficult and annoying with certain squads. But oh my god, when you finally achieve it... The actual feeling of being done with it is SUPERB.

It really makes you analyze your play style as a killer, and adapt in order to achieve Merciless Killer.

Some Adept Killers are absolutely miserable to get though.... Adept Myers, Adept Executioner, and Adept Demogorgon were the hardest ones for myself.

I promise it's worth it once you do achieve them. Keep at it, and good luck!

  • They do it to make the killer whiff. Typical sprint burst survivor will think, "Hehe, I made him miss! I'm so good!"

  • Ace in the Hole would've been much more beneficial, but I believe the challenge is a play on itself.

Open-Handed while the survivor's hand is holding the item with empty charges, and then calling him a Handyman 'cause... hands.

  • Pyramid Head is already getting a new cosmetic outfit later this month.

Your opinion of what looks good is subjective, not objective.

  • Inb4 nerf Ghostface next 'cause he can 99 specific survivors and then instantly go up to them and expose them.

Use your eyes or run Spine Chill.

    Myers is fine as is.

  • Don't step in his trails, you won't be sent to the gulag or get mini-moried at the end.

If you give up every time you go against a pphead, you'll never get better at versing him.

  • First day of the new auras, which was the day of the update - I couldn't win games for #########.

The next day, I started to rely less on the auras and use my experience to guess where the survivors were, correctly most of the time.

I was also watching a friend play Demopuppy, and when he placed the buttholes - holy Batman, they are so bright!

Please make the auras bright like the Demo's buttholes, and I think a lot of people will be much more satisfied with the new auras.

We just want to be able to see the auras, not squint and get headaches from trying to get information while in the game.

  • As someone who hates going against Bubba, I think he's fine as he is now with the rework.

Don't get greedy with loops, drop the pallet early if you think you can't make it around again!

Just hug objects tightly to try and make him go into tantrum.

Hell no. As a player that plays both sides, survivors have enough to do. ( totems, gens, chases, unhook, heals, ect. ). Leave it alone. Skill checks are fine. This post seems to be a way of making gens / matches take longer to buy the killer more time, and making it easier for them. Yes, the game is repetitive, but not boring or stale.

Gens go by too quick as it is. Don't make me laugh when you say survivors have enough to do. Survivors literally sit on gens, I rarely see survivors (in my killer games) running around and doing totems, opening chests, etc. Nothing more fun than a game finishing in 5 minutes 'cause survivors just want to do gens and get out.

  • Ormond has always been the worst map in the game.

Haddonfield is right up there though. Yamaoka following it as well.

  • It's pretty easy to get to rank 1 killer with Pig and Ghostface.

Let's see you do it with Trapper or Demo.

  • If there's an obsession in play in the match, keep track of who you've hooked. If they've gotten off the hook recently, just slug them out.

Is it bullshit when you go after a survivor and they hop in a locker to use DS? Sure, but they're going to die in the next 10-20 seconds anyway.

It's not hard to leave slugs on the ground to wait out DS. Plus it also applies more pressure to the survivors because that's one less teammate on gens/totems and it forces the other 2 or 3 survivors to go pick up their slugged teammate.

Play around DS, don't take the bait of DS using survivors. It's obvious when they have DS.

  • A game mechanic I'd like implemented is one that does not allow survivors to work on generators until they've had some sort of interaction with the killer. This does not necessarily mean the survivor has to seek out a chase, but rather they should at least see the killer or be within the killer's terror radius to unlock the ability to repair generators.

This makes sense from a logical standpoint because the survivors spawn into a trial, what would their logical thoughts be? "What is this place, where am I, why am I here?" This encourages exploration, rather than the way most survivors play being "Okay, spawned in. Find generator and hold M1, occasional space bar tap for skill checks."

It's really been stated enough. I got on after the patch update just to find out that the UI had been shrunk, I'm sure at some point I figured out a way to fix this or maybe you guys did it for me and fixed it yourselves and I just completely forgot as I took a break away.

Regardless, this is really a harsh change for those who play on 1440p. While I'm sure there's some people who're thankful for this change, I'm going to go out on a limb and say this was a change that was not needed nor wanted. If you're going to do changes like this at least allow us to make these changes ourselves because not being able to do proper skill checks because they're the size of a peanut is down right annoying.

    Please, please revert it!

I know this is gonna suck, but I found a solution - albeit not the prettiest. Right click on your desktop, Display Settings, change the resolution to 1920x1080. It'll bring back the UI scale we became accustomed to.

It is ridiculous that they don't give us the option to choose our desired UI scale...

  • Bring back pre-4.1.0 UI size please. I enjoyed having the bigger UI, less of a headache to read.

Please just give us the choice to have the small UI before 4.0.0 or for those of us that prefer the bigger UI to keep it. :/

  • Feng didn't need another outfit, we already have Bunny Feng.

And as much as I love Kate and main her, we have Midnight Rider Kate which is one of best survivor outfits in the game (imo).

I do agree that Kate deserves a goddess outfit though 'cause she is one.

    Goddess Kate outfit when BHVR!

It's funny how everyone here doesn't get the point It's not If you get rid of noed It's literally about the fact that InstaDown killers have a free NOED and It's quite pathetic If they run It It's literally that I'm not saying It's toxic or anything when Regular killers use It I don't mind when I see a InstaDown killer use It It's like man your awful

It's a waste of a perk slot for instadown killers. If survivors know how to counter NOED, killers can't rely on it. Do bones and take away one of the killer's perks, or don't and accept the consequences of your actions.

  • Otzdarva for his game knowledge and experimentation with different builds/playstyles.

OhTofu for entertainment and his community is great!

PolySypher has become a nightly ritual for me to watch, he has fantastic scenes such as Drift King Billy, Space Jam Oni, and more. Not to mention it's great fun to watch him wreck squads, his community is superb as well! He's also just started to upload on YT, hoping he gets to become a Fog Whisperer soon.

  • If someone is coming to the rescue and my bar is full, I'll at least attempt once or twice for the kobe. Why waste the chance? Been a couple times where it's been a clutch save. Sucks for the saver, but it's also happened to me when I'm the rescuer. It sucks, but you get over it cause it's only a 4% chance.

@Skysair I would be fine with that but it doesn't stop the maps being huge. Hopefully, they reduce map sizes on the big ones but that would also be nice to not hear 3 gens popping as soon as you circle back from looking for people at the beginning of the map.

That's true. Red Forest and Ormond are never fun maps to be on when playing 110 killers.

  • Why not bring a new mechanic in where survivors must interact with the killer before they can start repairing gens? This would prevent survivors from sitting on gens and popping them in succession, while encouraging survivors to seek out chases and do other objectives like chests and totems.

Immersed survivors are never fun when playing as the killer.

  • For tunneling, why not make it to where the player who uses DS successfully awards no points for being hooked if the killer eats the DS and keeps their eyes set on that survivor? Not only does this discourage tunneling, it promotes the killer to go after a different survivor. Once another survivor has been hooked, the DS survivor can now be hooked for the full amount of points as usual.

  • 320 gateaus on my main, p3 Kate. I've got around 20 gateaus each left on most of my killers, trying to get rid of them before prestige.

  • I'm using my gateaus to get more of them. For the price of one gateau, I can get three more. That's a pretty good trade-off, imo.

Hi everyone. I would like to ask a question, specialy to the devs. Is there any chance for camera view for players who died on the hook? For me and my firend it's frustraiting that there is no option like this. For example we are playing DBD... and my friend is dying on the hook, I just don't want to waste his time and I'm giving up, because sometime maches are so long ~ 30 min. Can you consifer adding camera for this dead players just to watch other player perspective view? Not flying camera like in CS:GO, because it could ruin the game, but for example after death you can end mach or choose only one player camera view, ONLY one without watching other players view? Thanks for answer.

    Miki

    You mean spectate...?

Bloodweb is procedurally generated, so the totals will vary based on what you get in your webs. It's taken me way more than 250k to get Ghost Face to level 15 for example.

If you need tips on farming, the Ghastly Gateau is a great way to get BP quickly. It's bugged to have a personal 140% boost rather than a stackable gamewide 104% boost, so using some Gateaus as a killer is a great way rack up points quickly. I average anywhere between 25k to almost 60k after a match.

Even better when paired with BBQ & Chili! Ultimate trifecta when coupled with BPS+Ghastly Gateau, yummy bloodpoints

You can access it using the pause menu (ESC key) but that only works while you are alive as a survivor or still in-game as the killer. And this wont show you the killer, only survivors.

I had to do that once due to free play cheater. Since that has ended now it should help the situation with cheating.

You can do it in post-game screen. Click the cog in the left bottom corner, go to match details - wala, survivor details. Can't do anything about the killer though.

Honestly I thought it would've been neat if there was some really difficult process in order to earn legacy for survivors that originally couldn't earn it. I.e. deathslinger or david. That way the original 4 survivors and killers could retain their status because it wouldn't be possible to reobtain it for them but gives people a chance to gain it for other characters

This is actually a pretty good idea, imo. Maybe not have it be the same color or whatever as the original characters' legacy cosmetics were?

  • No.

It's legacy for a reason. Those players who got it before the blood web was reworked deserve it. Would I like to have it? Yeah, I would. But I respect those players who were there from the beginning, it's cool to see them around - even if it is a rare occurrence.

  • An entitled player who wants everything without doing anything.

Yes, the interactive tutorial should be highlighted for those who have less than 50 hours in the game - I can agree with you on that.

The HUD is bigger than before. It's pretty easy to tell when you're oblivious or cursed, you just haven't put the time into figuring it out.

The bloodweb is grindy and sucks at times, but you get some great stuff out of it.

Everything should be unlocked from the start? What? There's no progression and people will stop playing faster than you can say oops.

Sorry that the game doesn't spoon feed you everything right off the bat, you'll find that out in more things than just DBD.
