  • I got to say (On PS4) on the release day from 10 matches, only 4 were against PH/Executioner.

Also usually the lobbies were packed with players who wanted to test out the new killer, this time it seemed like the usual evenings in Europe (longer waiting times for survivors)

  • I think the new map is neat.

Can't find any gens however and the only complain that I got is:

In one hallway, there are two hooks right next to eachother

  • I started at 75% and slowly go up by 5% every 10-15 games or you could go up 1-2% every 2 games

  • Kate's Hair is so .... :(

I mean if there is a survivor hiding in bright clothes or a neon hair colour, I will absolutely be able to spot them faster than a Claudette for example.

  • On the day of the Rank-Reset I got the notification that my ranks resetted, however when I was playing survivor I had the same rank as the day before. Only after closing the game once it was changed to my "actual" rank

  • That's also the most optimal way to work on the rift.

It may seem more rewardable to get a reward every level, but once you reach 70 and pay the 1000 AC it's better since you get the whole amount back and you got everything for sure.

In no particular order, I use the following that you crossed out (among others, I don't have the patience to go through all the perks I use and see which ones you crossed out):

    • Dark Sense
    • Alert
    • Aftercare
    • Urban Evasion

And I'm trying to get more, like Poised and Inner Strength. They help me survive and escape, but they're catered to my playstyle.

You prefer a more aggressive playstyle, which is why you rate second-chance perks as "useful" and the rest as "useless". I prefer never being seen by the killer and/or knowing where the killer is at all times, along with my teammates.

I have success with my stealth builds, the same way you do with your second-chance builds. Different perks for different play styles. Why should every single survivor perk cater to your playstyle?

I had the patience for survivors and here's the list for survivor perks that I find useful

To me some of these crossed out perks are actually more useful than some that you circled.

    • Alert
    • Lithe
    • Head On
    • (To some extent) Self Care
    • Stake Out
    • Urban Evasion

You cannot possibly compare Ebony Mori with ANY of the survivor perks, items or addons.

First of all Ebony Mori is an OFFERING and it prematurely removes survivors from the game usually resulting in a sure win for the killer. I don't recall any survivor offerings that basically win you the game just by playing it.

As for the survivor's perks and item addons, ofcourse there are some that have some sort of impact if used properly but they actually require some skill/experience in using them; Mori requires no skill at all to use: You just equip it and you can kill any survivor if opportunity presents itself.

The role of the Killer IS to kill all survivors.

Bringing a mori into the game let's you obtain the job faster. If we go by the original means of this game. Killers should bring Moris and (to an extent) hunt down the already hurt survivor. It became such a forbidden term to tunnel people. I know that it is no fun to survivors to get tunneled, but look at Killers in movies and such. If they want to kill a certain person, will achieve this faster than you think.

This game is built on the base of killing people as fast as possible with the Horror Elements. However with the so-called survivor handbook you are a bad killer if you try to achieve your main goal by any means. I think many people that play Killer are generous enough to avoid going after the hooked survivor right after the unhook and we should rather be grateful for this, because this is far from optimal play.

I try my best to not tunnel survivors that came right off the hook, I make an exception when the survivor played scummy/toxic or when a SWF survivor plays Object of Obsession, because they provide toxic behaviour (first example) and/or too much information for the team.

Furthermore I'd like to say everyone should play like they want, but this topic will always be a battlefield. I promise that there'll be discussions about what's right and wrong in these kind of threads. I mean if we go by this statement, we could make a whole list about ingame mechanics that prematurely end things.

Polygon count can be seen by looking at how many sides an object has. The more polygons being put in, the smoother of a look they can make as opposed to the pointy sharp angles.

    Ah okay :D

  • Wasn't there like a huge deal because of the bust size?

They had to make them smaller (Size in the picture) because they had too many polygons for that time. I think it was something along these lines ...

To stay on Topic. I'd become a Lara Main :D So yes to this

  • Amanda Skin for Tapp

  • Halloween could also be costumes for survivors.

Valentine's Day could be fancy clothing like dresses and suits.

What I'd love to see are Fairy Tale inspired cosmetics like Baba Yaga Hag or Alice in Wonderland Kate.

Or even Urban Legend inspired cosmetics like White Dame Nurse.

  • The Devs themselves said that they're not looking into it (right now).

My idea for a Devotion reward system (Already said it in other discussions about it)

With each devotion the max. shard cap will increase by 5 shards and you gain every level 5 more shards.

    For Example: Level 1 50 shards ---- Level 1 Devotion 2 60 shards --- Level 1 Devotion 10 should be 100 shards.

It would be a nice reward to gain more shards and it would not be overwhelmingly much.

Another option could be rewarding with X % more Bloodpoints and eventually increasing the Blood Point cap by X amount

  • Finished chapter 1 (only missing the one specific Legion mission) and lvl 15. Played for around a week after a big break.

I'd say pretty good so far.

  • My idea for this is.

Everything invisible, except Bloodpoints that affect all players (survivors and killers), so things like BPS and Those Gruesome Cake thingies.

Also Event Offerings should be visible to see how many were dropped.

Thanks :) I did that for level 2 as well if you want to check ^^ just for level 1 I missed to capture the details

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/153745/level-2-tome-3-finished-overview

    Will look into it :)

  • That's so detailed. Great work there!

I'm so behind :D just recently got back from a DBD break and still in Level 1.

I might look into this for level 2 and 3

  • Nah I will use the perks I always use.

Adrenaline, Nancys Healing Perk, one aura perk and maybe for the first week I'll play Urban Evasion to go over the torment lines

  • Totally forgot about her :D

Actually all the Chanels should be ingame

  • I may be the only one but Scream Queens "scream" to fit this category. They are better as Legendary skins instead of an own chapter.

So either Chanel Oberlin or Chanel #3 in either season 1 clothes or season 2 nurse outfits for survivors.

Red Devil Killer or Green Meanie as Killer skins.

We don't know precisely when Demon Slayer Feng and Mr Puddles are coming to the Store, but it has been confirmed that they will eventually. In the past, we've been told that it will take at least 6-12 months after the corresponding Rift has closed for items to appear in the Store. So, following that pattern, we'll probably see the new Legion and Claudette outfits a few Rifts from now (maybe Rift 6 or 7) and they'll be available to buy in the Store at least 6-12 months after that.

As for the unique outfits coming to the Store, it's possible. We don't know for sure - the only thing we've been told is that "most" of the Rift rewards will eventually be available for individual purchase in the Store.

    Thank you very much

  • The idea would be nice.

But there would have to be a restriction what kind of perks you can use as the fifth one.

Now's the real question should be, would it be balanced. Not at all expect if the restriction would be that you can use 2 teachables max.

The other three should be from the generic pool of perks, IMO

  • I would change the amount of corn on those maps. Rotten Fields should get atleast one Construction more with those hay bales.

Some parts of the corn fields could be flattened (like from a harvester machine or just from walking over) and put there a scarecrown instead with a tiny bit of fence.

You could change the heights of the corn by making some not fully harvestable ones inbetween. Or even include other crops inbetween that aren't as high as the corn.

  • I started on Monday (I think with 39 days left) and played for like 3 hours and already got to 5, so I guess it's really going well :D

I think this tome is different since you can start from different positions instead of only one. You won't be forced to play a role you don't want to (At least on Page 1). But it's true, we got more missions that can't be completed in one game.

I just wished, that we could activate a Killer and a Survivor quest. So many wasted opportunities where I forgot to switch the challenge

  • I play them all regularly but the most common ones are

Survivors: Feng Min, Yui Kimura and Kate Denson

    Killers: Spirit and Doctor

  • I took a break when the Deathslinger came out and just recently came back.

It is really enjoyable to come back after a break. Better coming back than never touch it.

  • I can't help you with the second statement.

They confirmed to look into Cross-Progression

  • I would like to give my 5 cents to this topic.

First of all, I think they should choose more than just two cosmetics. We have so many original characters that it's becoming really frustrating to see specific ones getting cosmetics.

I don't know to which extend it is possible to include one design for each survivor and killer.

Second of all, BHVR could do two things to keep such contests in order and still original.

Either they give a theme, that limits the designs a tad bit or they decide internally four designs for survivors and four for killer.

These eight designs will be in polls. To decide what design will win they could separate the votings TO 50% community and 50% BHVR.

So artists with big followings won't be able to make a significant step to win.

Third of all, to give everyone a fair chance, they could provide bases of the characters (Bases are literally the characters in a dress-up game style) so that anyone can provide a detailed design.

Last but not least: To me personally, Feng Mins skin seems to be more like a Cosplay kind of situation. She's a gamer and maybe her main dresses like this.

    Hope everythings readable
