  • Honestly yes, her "Blendette" clothing could use some tweaks.

  • I like your ideas, would certainly improve their overall gameplay and viability

  • You can play with any perk you want, same goes for survivor.

Choose what you're comfortable with. Just don't be surpirsed if pople call you out on it or treat you differently in game for certain "less liked" perks.

  • No.

Sounds have been messed up since forever.

Anything they can do to alleviate this is much appreciated and long overdue.

No, but I think people are tired of weak Killers. The last "strong" Killer we got was Spirit, and she need three rounds of buffs before reaching her present state and has had to deal with broken sounds up until this very update.

Doctor was supposedly meta-breaking but needed buffs to just not be absolute garbage, Wraith and Trapper updates did little to affect their tier placement, Cannibal is discount Hillbilly only played for perks and memes, Nightmare was already a weak Killer when he was nerfed within weeks of release, Clown had only minor buffs before launch and hasn't shaken things up, Plague's basekit was nerfed before launch, Legion's rework fixed exploits but didn't really make him better, and Pig was already weak when her endgame potential was nerfed.

Now you can argue about the context or motivations of all of these claims, but it doesn't change the overall malaise the developers have built up with Killer players. It's the "power" role but most get bullied by competent Survivors, especially at red ranks. And yet we're expected to shell out cash every three months to pay for these suboptimal characters.

The result is a lot of people instinctively worrying that any Killer who might be decent if not great will be nerfed because Survivors refuse to learn how to play against him or low rank players who lose to every Killer will complain he's too strong. And we all know Killers get weaker once players have had a few weeks to grow accustomed to playing against them.

Is the fear justified? We'll see when the final patch notes come out.

    This.

    Very well put together btw!

  • During the whole event I played exactly 2 bps as survivor.

Game 1: got tunneled to death, bloodpoints: 8.000

Game 2: nurse omega blink, 1 dc, devour hope, bloodpoints: 5.000

Somehow I feel like I'm dooming myself with them.

    Hmmm weird...

  • There already is: you get way less points/pips and a boring match overall.

Do I condemn it? No. What else is there to do as survivor?

Honestly the game just needs more objectives for survivors and for heaven's sake dont just increase the gen times.

But that's up for the devs to change, not seeing them do much about it though except add band aid fixes like ruin/corrupt intervention.

  • Against average survivors (~90% of player base): billy

Against very good survivors (~10%): spirit

Other words rank 15-5 billy, 4-1 spirit

I honestly think the shrine is fine the way it is, it's just a luck based system. If you want the perk you want, then. Better play Ace.

It is definitely not solely luck based. If that were the case perks like BBQ wouldn't have appeared only twice since its release. Either they spinn the wheel so to say and reroll it once there's too many good perks on it, or certain perks have a waaaay lower percentage.

Recommend watching Fungoose's video on that, helped me alot =)

  • I play normal, not my fault someone dc'd, not theirs as well, so I always give hatch to the last one.

  • Yes, same goes for WGLF.

    The QoL change we need!

Enduring wasn't quite nerfed, it was changed. Previously it increased stun recovery by 75%. Now it reduces stun time by 50%. With the way it's calculated, it's actually faster than before.

    1 / 1.75 = 1.14 <--- Before

    2 * (1 - 0.5) = 1 <--- After

So pallet stuns are now even shorter, but it doesn't affect perks. This allows us to better control the stun time for perk based stuns without needing to crank them up to 11 just in case the killer has enduring.

You didn't answer the original question regarding the ds stun time... I'm confused

  • Yeah gatekeeper is a joke. The emblems should represent how well YOU do in the game and yet it comes down to anything but that:

Do you have a certain perk equipped? (Hint starts with "r" ends with "uin")

Do the survivors do their objective or not.

  • You seem to forget that they are game developers, not entertainers. The only thing I saw, were people talking about and showing things they love and want to bring to life in the future. Sure maybe it wasn't as smooth or professional as it could've been, but I found it only made it more endearing to watch.

  • Agreed, they all sound very underwhelming and not very usefull at all, hope they adjust them before they get released.

  • I'd love that change. I often get nauseous when I play more than a couple of rounds without shadowborn. The default killer fov is just way to low for me, feels bad that I have to "waste" a whole perk slot just I don't feel sick when I play killer, pls devs do something about it!

  • Case 1: play billy/nurse neither needs ruin if ur good with them

Case 2: play any of the others, ruin is the best gen delaying perk hands down

You could also try out Pop goes the Weasel, and see if it fits your playstile

  • I think we should test it out before talking about possible changes. The only thing I agree with is that the collapse should start when the last generator gets done.

  • Stopped playing Spirit because of this, couldn't be bothered, so only play Nurse now. Read through some of the comments in the bug section which there were multiples in the last weeks, none were answered

@Peanits The lack of communication by the devs regarding this is what truly bothers me. Are they even working on this? Will it get fixed? No info.

  • No, as long as the game is the way it it right now you need a couple of killers who can deal with strong swf groups
