*laughs in exhaustion add-ons*
Seriously I’ve been using loose screw on merchant and dead hard has become a non factor in my games. It feels nice
-
I play her with the pallet add-on and loose screw alongside end fury to play a chase merchant. It’s super fun and I make sure to never camp a 3 gen. If survivors make one I’ll just continue to chase until one of us wins
She fun if a bit weak when played as anti loop/info killer
-
Honestly how often do you face a hex build? It’s not bad but directly hurts COH which is a better option in 90% of scenarios
-
Nope just like many other bugs have been not bannable. The breakdown bug for example
-
As someone who has prime everyone should get access to the content at some point. I hate FOMO and exclusives and it’s the reason Haddie was abandoned for over a year
Nobody wanted to play her because all her cosmetics were time limited
-
Thwack and fire up can both counter flashlights. Breaking pallets interrupts the beam with the scream and the faster pick up from fire up messes with flashy timing
-
I wouldn’t call most perks in dbd bad but the upper 10% are just so much more useful
Autodidact and furtive chase are the absolute worst perks I can think of though (Autodidact is still fun to use though)
-
I kinda miss the old one tbh. Just needed to activate on any skill check (including oppression for synergy) and last longer
-
It’s the same size?

you play nice and survivors still dont escape?????
no gg ez butt dance emote flashy???
impossible!
Nope tbh I end up losing most games. Sure some teabag but why should I care? It’s literally pixels on a screen going up and down
-
Maybe I like playing nice? More fun that way imo
-
Honestly yeah
Playing solo I usually die (which I’m fine with) because I don’t enjoy stealth and I prefer chases
Playing killer I usually only get 1-2 kills because I’d rather not focus on defending gens as SM but using her power in chase alongside perks.
But tbh I’m well past caring about winning and would rather just have a fun match
-
Tie in with meet you maker. It’s another BHVR game being made
-
The devs have no intention of that. Hell the main talking point of the community is 30+ minute games with 3 gens right now

Plague has a terrible design, because you can basically deny her power by simply not cleansing and then she is a mouse 1 killer.
The best designed killers in this game are wesker, pinhead, and unironically skull merchant. I'm planning a post on her soon. Her problems in design are with 3 genning in general, not with her kit.
Pinhead?
I mean I like him but he stomps solo queue and gets stomped by SWF. His power is unintuitive in many ways. Things Such as how to properly solve the box just aren’t explaining and it leads to frustrating matches
His possessed chain is cool in concept but has too much RNG to be consistent and also messes with console button bindings.
His add ons are really great either. Engineers fang is pretty broken and original pain makes tunnelling laughably easy
-
Plague is probably the best designed killer in DBD (Wesker and Oni are close though)
She has a great power that has counterplay, Amazing add-on selection and good perk synergies
-
It’s a crossover with meet your maker which is their other game they are making. Seems similar in nature to gnome chompski
-
There’s on,y very specific things I want basekit. Mainly pop and BBQ for killer
Both these combined would allowed for killers to ping pong between chases and be actively rewarded for it. Base kit pop could be 15 of current progress while the perk would buff that to 20 of total progress with a 60 second timer instead of 45
-
Honestly MMR is easy to ignore once you stop focusing on it. A game like dbd will never have a perfect MM system and even if it did everyone would hate it because it would have super long queues and make 4k + 4 escapes less common
-
I like them as well. Especially the older screams like Dwight and Claudette sound much better
-
My on,y issue is it’s potential to spawn next to a hook making endgame saves impossible.
Tbh though that’s so rare that I don’t think it needs changes. Noed has fallen in favor for no way out at the moment
-
Most killers have blindness add-ons. Make use of them

When a match takes that long, the survivors are at the same fault as the killer. Neither wants to give up, no matter how boring it is.
Best choice for both sides would be to simply give up after a certain amount of time and move on to the next match. But many people are to proud to take the loss.
Yeah that goes for both sides because for some reason people have trouble accepting losses in a game so laden with rng and unwinnable situations
Honestly if I notice a clear Cob overcharge 3 gen I just give up. Might as well save myself the time
-
I enjoy merchant as well though I’m not blind to her flaws
3 genning is an issue but it’s 90% a perk issue and has little to do with knight or merchant
Map designs still sucks but that’s to be expected
Only issue in the chapter is perks being terrible but tbh that’s a given for most chapters
Overall the game is in a good spot imo
-
Both sides have unfun strategies that neither want to play against
If you want to do them expect people to be mad but don’t let that stop you. I personally don’t do them because I enjoy playing a fair game even if I lose
Survivors have a good reason to be mad at a 40 minute game just as killers have a reason to be mad at a 3 minute one
-
Thankfully I haven’t been DDOSed before but if I keep playing merchant I fear I will be

Also, has anyone tried having a dedicated healer to patch the team up and send them right back in to keep pressure?
I play solo, so this would never work for me, but what about Circle of Healing, Autodidact, Botany Knowledge, and Desparate Measures? Setup your boon away from the gens (not too far, to save on run time).
No point in running autodidact with all that heal speed since you’re much less likely to actually get a skill check
Better off running better than new or Leader tbh
-
I don’t play in SWF much but this does suck to experience especially if it ends up being a long match afterwards
At least it gives you time to spend that 1 million BP burning a hole in your wallet
-
What’s worse is that the best killers on the map are top tier ones because they thrive with the lack of LOS blockers
Plus the map is the same colour as scratch marks which is fun :)
-
I have. It’s decent but can’t keep up with the constant regression from CoB and overcharge and is too risky since getting hit disables it
-
Bond is a must have in solo queue
Distortion is too because of all the insane aura perks atm
Exhaustion (Usually Balanced landing)
Totem tracker because I like boldness points (Counterforce is my personal favourite)

Obviously excluding Nurse and Blight since they’re literally in their own universe. Everyone else though would have no good perks for defending gens and would suffer immensely.
Artist and Pinhead has PR DMS
Every M1 killer has PR and or jolt. It’s really not that bad and if it ends up being bad buff pop back up to add an actual interactive slowdown perk

No killer would be “oppressive in any real way” if you nerfed those.
Are you seriously saying that blight wouldn’t be oppressive without CoB overcharge? Most blights don’t even bother with them because he can get downs so quickly and is better off with PR
-
Because they are either pretty bad or medkits which I find unfair. Plus I like hoarding them because my brain likes big numbers
-
No surprise there. Seriously has any map actually gotten better after the reworks. Either they ended up the same or ended up worse
Looking at you chapel
-
The only real advice here is bring perks but even the likes of potential energy can only do so much against Call of brine and overcharge
The problem is the perks right now. Call of brine and overcharge are designed around 3 genning and reward constantly kicking the same gen without interaction with the survivors
Change them and I doubt merchant and knight would be oppressive in any real way

Maybe not the one dc, but the three other who die, because the dc
Any match with a DC is discarded completely
-
Just buff some weaker perks by a huge amount. People want a new meta but complain about strong new perks at every corner

No its not a good indicator. If it were a good indicator and the devs do something to "Balance" around dcs. All Killers would be able to hit with M1 and nothing mor. If it is a good indicator. Can you tell where addonless trapper is Op. I played a Trapper match and after my first down with two M1s the surv dcs. So at your logic this means nerf Trapper.
“Mass DCing”
2 people DCing isn’t that. People DCing every game against legion on the other hand is a good indicator that something should be changed
Same goes for killers mass DCing on old haddonfield.

Dude be for real. Trapper can literally do nothing against a team with half a brain. M1 killers need to be buffed with some kind of movement. We do not need to keep nerfing nurse. Git gud
Never said we shouldn’t. What I said was that the devs see no issue with it
But yes a lot of weaker killers need buffs but tbh I don’t trust the devs to make good buffs to them

You are aware of mass amount of dcs and rage quits after patch 6.1.0 right?
Devs have gone on record to say DC’s do not contribute to kill rates
-
6.1.0 brought the killer buffs you mentioned which put the kill rate at 60% which is what the devs want
Unless kill rates got much lower due to solo changes I’d say they are happy at where killer is
-
The only one I’m really confused about is hag since her traps are one of the best camping tools in the game. But nah apparently merchant and artist need the restriction more than her
-
Hag’s is still worse imo but yeah merchant’s sucks. Just give every killer wesker’s chase music and I’ll be happy
-

I like the screams sounding more natural, but no screams need to last longer than 4 seconds.
That’s true. I just never liked how they were cut off.
But yeah someone like Leon can scream for like 8 seconds
-
Merchant isn’t inherently bad but her combination with the current regression meta is since she now has no incentive to even chase since CoB overcharge is more than enough regression to grind the game to a halt
-
Yep playing her is more or less impossible. Hell I’ve literally stopped kicking gens period in my last few games and still people just leave
-
Honestly doubt she’ll get changed. Considering knight can stall games equally and bhvr have been quiet on that
I enjoy playing her but everyone is now DCing because they assume I’m going to 3 gen. Can’t say I blame them but it sucks regardless
-
I like hearing the full audio for once. Feels more natural and sounds better imo
-
For killer it was clown at first due to his ridiculous look and sound design alongside his simple power. Now it’s merchant because I like finding value in things people consider bad
For Survivor it was Jeff because I relate to him and Jane because I found her cosmetics cute. Now I main Haddie though since she’s underrated and has amazing lore and visual design
