Sounds like a personal problem. Might I suggest not triggering yourself by repeatedly visiting those threads and posting nonsense?
ah yes "triggering yourself" coming from the people concerned about the pronouns of some pixels on a screen :/

Before I posted that you posted asking why it matters.
Rule34 was a joke, but clearly, this topic matters to you.
I just don't see why people have to bring this stuff up with the slightest thing, it's annoying after a while.

We all know the role he's going to take when he ends up being Rule34'd. So to me he is a he.

Imagine caring so much that you felt you had to contribute nothing except criticizing someone's entirely benign respect for pronouns.
ah yes mentions rule 34 and protects pronouns, they're always so predictable :)
-
Why does this even matter? It's a fictional character in a game.
-
The game just needs a massive balance overhaul map wise. Probably more important than reworking the perks imo.
-
The current matchmaking seems inconsistent. 75% of my games seem to be against far higher skilled players with 4 escapes. And the rest is 15% 1-2k games(so really what the majority should be with balanced mm) and 10% 3-4k.
Should really be 40-60% 1-2k games if the matchmaking was at least semi decent. But at this rate doesn't really encourage you to play much when you consistently get matchmaking with a near guaranteed loss. Much rather have long queues and actually get around 50% 1-2k games.
And honestly with fair matchmaking the games are just more fun even if you get 4 escapes. Games that are closer but are a loss are a lot more enjoyable than the sweat fests less skilled players like myself(incoming just get good comments) get dragged into most of the time.
Honestly don't understand why they won't do this. They'd get a lot more new players stay if they actually made it possible to learn the game without being steamrolled every game.

I play my share of Ghostface and I like to use Enduring, Spirit Fury, Whispers, and either Nurse's or sloppy. For add-ons I use night shroud recovery and exhaustion infliction.
Basically I just use his power to gain free hits and play super aggressively downing survivors very quickly with the help of enduring fury and the add-ons.
Also because Ghostface can sneak up on survivors so easily it's wise for them to heal otherwise he can get free downs too. Nurse's or sloppy comes into play here.
And then whispers is just an amazing tracking perk. Always useful from early game all the way to endgame.

My build is BBQ (bloodpoints), Ruin, Pain Resonance (slowdown and info), and I’m All Ears.
IAEs is so good on killers like Ghostface. You know exactly where the survivor is and they don’t know where you are (Night Shroud); instantly the king of mind games.

BHVR nerfed his night shroud power. They basically made it easier for survivors to break him out of stealth. I would recommend a anti loop build on him so you can quickly catch up to survivors and down them once you’ve marked them. Try Enduring, Spirit Fury, Bamboozle, and the last could be anything you want. I love running rancor on him just for the mori and insta down.
thanks for the help, much appreciated

I was gonna post a build but lets be real...
As a killer you will most likely complain and start camping and tunneling.
and then you will come back to the Forums to make another post about your experience.
Uh, what?
What does this have to do with anything I was talking about?

Now that I'm sort of addicted to changing my killer after every match, I've realized that some just get...lost in the shuffle. Or ignored for other reasons.
Plague - I have no idea why, because I love playing as her. But I seldom go 'oh, know what I feel like next? Some Plague!'.
Onryo - Now that people know how to handle her, she's become - in my opinion - among the weakest killers in the game. Her big problem is lacking a 'pivot point' - something you can potentially do to snowball. Honestly, I'd prefer to play on Pig.
Oni and Billy - The only two killers left that I'm not at least somewhat confident on. Both put me off for different reasons, but I'll likely never love playing Billy. Oni...I'll start learning soon.
Clown - I don't mind his mechanics, I just loathe his visual and audio design. He's more 'murder hobo' than 'scary clown'.
Bubba - He's...often rather sad to play if you actively avoid camping like I do, and his audio is awful. He sounds more like a pig than Pig.
Bit unrelated but, have you seen the texas chainsaw massacre before? Bubba sounds like a pig half the time.

Silent Hill already happened so I'd say Silent Hill part 2 with Maria as a survivor and The Missionary as a killer along with Lakeside Amusement Park as the map.

I hope they don't happen :)

I think it's because the killer can go a whole game without getting a single hook, and by endgame turn the game on its head and get a 2k/3k or possibly a 4k
But wouldn't DH make people more likely to take NOED? As it makes you far more likely to not get anyone to death hook.
Personally never even used either perk but played against both. NOED is annoying, but at least it isn't every game. DH is just outright broken in some circumstances, but most people I play against using it tend to mess it up 50%of the time. But that doesn't make it any less powerful.

Every other team game has it, and has a mute button. I think its a necessary evil that needs to be added to make the game easier to balance. I would rather just not have SWF at all for how the game was originally intended, but we are way beyond that at this point. So I would rather just give everyone the option for voice chat. Keyword OPTION.
So if you add a voice chat option. What do you add to balance that out for killers? If every game is then near guaranteed to have survivors on voice chat. I imagine most killer mains aren't in the best of the best and would just suffer even more if the rate of communication went up even more. To an extent I can understand how it would be good yes, but the usual online game bad mic and toxicity(that the game already does well enough in) and making the advantage near always there would just be making more people stop playing killer or even leave the game.

As others have said, the DC's on death hook are the most ridiculous. Normally, I laugh at those, since there's nothing hurting me by a survivor doing it. But tonight, I had the Rift challenge from the very first one where you need to sacrifice 4 people in the basement, simply because I'd never done it, and all of my other killer challenges are pretty much finished. I was on the Grim Pantry as Trapper, but not running a basement build. Got a few hooks spread out evenly, then got someone down near the basement of the main building. Two separate people stepped into traps going for a rescue while I was across the map (I was running Honing Stone, so they went into the dying state). I ended up with three people basement hooked and downed the 4th shortly afterwards. Bringing them to the basement, they DC'ed right before I could get them on a hook.
No one was tunneled, no one was camped. The match played out as "fairly" as one could expect as a survivor. The team simply made crucial mistakes and were careless heading into the main building, and that helped me to snowball, but because someone rage-quit out of immaturity, I didn't get the challenge done, which was frustating. It's a good reason why having a bot to take the place of a player that DC's would be a nice change, to keep people like that last survivor from costing other people challenges or achievements.
That seems like an absolute pain. Should keep their "body" in game if you're carrying them honestly, so that you can still hook them. But this would be a bit broken if they weren't on death hook but then again fair to an extent as to where it only keeps them in game if you're carrying them. If you drop them it removes them from the game, and if they DC any other time it just DCs as normal.
But really the penalty times need to be higher as it's been getting far too common recently from my experience at least.

No. Instead of asking for harsher penalties, they need to fix the reason why people DC in the first place.
For example: if you play soloq and get camped/tunneled multiple games in a row while you watch your team not doing anything it just builds up frustration.
People DC even if they aren't camped or tunneled. They'll literally DC if you down them earlier than they want.

I rarely use Bubba, but I often get a DC or two as soon as they hear the chainsaw. But it can be any killer; I had someone DC against me while using Trapper last night.
Reality is that some people will DC as soon as they realize their expectation for match isn't going to be met, for whatever reason.
It's selfish and pathetic, but it is what it is, and will continue to happen until they dial up the penalty.
Dad DCs on pretty much every killer I've played since yesterday, Doctor, Huntress,Trapper, Bubba, Ghost Face.
Penalties should be closer to 30 minutes honestly. The current penalty is about the time I take between matches to have a break anyway. So wouldn't be detrimental in any way. It's getting ridiculous at this point where every game is either up against far higher skilled plaers or DCs because I actually manage to do alright. Not really encouraging for any kind of more layed back gameplay.

Some killers just elicit a DC more than others. If I hear the Pinhead box sound effect at the start of the match I pretty much brace for the first person to go down to DC. Same with Blight and Nurse. Spirit too. I can't play with headphones for various reasons, so I absolutely suck with Spirit, but if my first down is super quick, I very often get a DC.
Get that with bubba if your fist down is with the saw they tend to DC. Same with gen grabs on myers/ghostface.

I like the 2 vs 8 idea. Or even 1 vs 8 with slower gens. Having only 4 survivors with 1 killer is why survivor is the power role in this game.
I know it flopped, but Friday 13th had the right idea in that regard.
I think 1v8 would only work if the killer was able to bring more perks and required less hooks per survivor.
-
2v8 would be fun. But there's not really much you can add other than new killers/maps

Recently I've been having a lot of grab animations without grabs, it's rather annoying.
