i started a thread about this but it got locked.
yesterday my 6 year old played as a killer and used the doctor. It was his first one playing as killer using my account and he killed everyone. Yes a 6 year old using the killer for the first time and the doctor and he killed all 4 survivors. The doctor is garbage and annoying. He ruins every match.

Why can’t the devs do this? Even freaking games like real royale and paladins do this.
I don’t even care about my purchases. Make it limited and include free unlocks at least.
rocket league doesn’t bring over your purchases which suck sure but progression is there. Come on devs. I’m stuck on switch and have to start over to play on series x? Stupid.

Are you sure? I could swear I read that you could transfer switch progress to Xbox or ps4 but not Xbox or ps4 to anywhere else.

Does anyone have a screenshot/picture of these gens? I'm curious as to how bad they look.
I don’t have a picture yet but trust me it looks like a gen from a PS2 game and that’s generous. It’s so bad. At first I thought they took the iPhone gens but I went to the iPhone version and their gens look 10 times worse. It’s so bad. It’s embarrassing.

Ugh. Between the N64 fog on the switch version and the sound bugs this game is getting bad. I used to tell my friend that at least is not as bad as Friday the 13th. Well now we are getting to those levels. Kinda.

I find this unbelievable. I mean I crawled through the hatch and I found it by dumb luck. I never heard the sound.
not hearing the hatch, crows, heart beat, generators and other stuff in a game like dead by daylight well I commend you devs. Way to screw up your game and not play test.
I really loved this game but right now is not fun. It’s not fun. Me and my friend stopped playing and moved on to another game. Something I’m sure the devs do not want.

I would trade all of it for just the sound. FIX THE SOUND!!! What kind of studio messed up the sound and doesn’t see that as a problem.

The biggest one has to be the broken audio. Killer heartbeat can barely be heard. Muted sounds like being hit. Crows. Generators. Other effects being normal.
im a game where sound is so important it really is ruining the game.

They completely screwed up the sound. The generators are really quite. The killers have such a low heart beat. Crows are lower too.
They really really messed up half of the effects in the game and the mixing to the point that i'm sure its a stupid bug. Which for the life of me i can't understand how it got past testing.

I was wondering how the switch would run the new graphics and i think they lowered the resolution. Anyone noticed this?

They should have let me play test on my lunch break. I would have caught more bugs than they did. Literally in the first minute i noticed it was completely messed up.

They completely messed up the sound. Generators, crows and heart beats you can’t hear. The mixing is soooo off. How can they screw up something that wasn’t messed up before? God I hope they fix this soon cause it’s ruining the games.

For dbd bug are quite normal XD but honestly you will get use to it but the dev tend to fix survivor bug faster so maybe this will get fix soon
Too me bugs is like getting stuck on a rock. I can deal with that. But this sound issue will make me quit the game. I play mostly at night with the volume low and I can’t hear the terror heart beat at all. The generators are bad too I mean the mixing is so god awful that it has to be a bug. A bug that’s so obvious I noticed it in the first minute so not sure how the devs didn’t notice it before the update went live.

No he’s right. I only play switch and last night a few times killers were walking super fast. I knew something was really wrong but I’ve never seen it. Now reading this thread I know what it was hackers. Again I play on switch and NEVER had these issues but last night I hit a few matches with hackers. He’s totally right.

No wonder!!!!! He’s 100% correct! Last night a couple of times I saw killers moving super fast. It was awful. Something was really wrong. I kept thing my friend if it was a new perk or something. Bubba was moving crazy fast.
if this is what cross play brings which is hacking from PC then turn off cross play for pc! Just keep it for console players but pc hackers is the worse. It ruined the games last night when it came up. Ruined.

Yep it is true. I play on Switch and was able to play on Badham Preschool V for the first time.
My man!!!!! I'm sooooo pumped!!!! Hopefully they get cross progression between consoles worked out. I have all my progression on the switch version but would buy the game on xbox x again if i'm able to get all my stuff and progression.

Wait what? That's...how? Unless of course they have the license for Freddy on Switch (meaning he'll be released soon) than that wouldn't be the case. You would need a license to even have the Freddy asset on the system.

Freddy players only get matched with Xbox/PC/PS4. Switch is excluded from the queue when Freddy is chosen as killer.

i find it very amusing when i healed or heal someone and i do the double crouch and they quickly follow up with the double crouch to acknowledge said double crouch. Always puts a smile on my face. In the mist of such horror and cruelty that such civilized behavior can still exist.

Also, shards take FOREVER to grind. Now i might not be a pro like you guys but i have 200 hours in this game and only got like 2 characters and 2 pieces of clothes. Boring clothes too cause the good stuff is insane.
So i'm sure someone here is going to tell me how they have a million shards and blah blah.
Most people won't get that many and 200 hours for 2 characters and 2 like colored pants or something is a lot.
It's basically a mobile format but in a game thats almost full price.

i actually do think they are extremely overpriced.
Fortnite is a free game and their cosmetics stand out more. i paid full price for Dead by Daylight and the cosmetics for survivors are not only typically more subtle and boring but cost more!
So basically they had their cake and eating it too.

this map runs a bit rough on switch honestly. But that's because it's mmm switch. lol.
Though to be fair games like Realm Royale which has 100 players, bigger world, and looks beautiful on switch runs at 60 frame so yeah.

This!!!! i made a thread about this a few weeks ago. Weirdly enough i got like 6 out of 10 doctors and before and i was so annoyed i got calm spirit and since then i've only seen him 2 times. Ugh. lol.

my problem is how bad killers have become. Last night 3 times in a row we got killers who hooked and then stood right in front of the survivor and stared at them for the whole duration until they died.
God it turns a fun game into a boring one. Of course most survivors were trying to rescue him and not working on generators. Which honestly i don't blame them cause i rather someone try than not.

it's weird cause i started running dead hard this past week and out of the 10 times i've used it about 8 of those times were successful.
I know i keep hearing from people that it's unreliable but works fine for me. I put the camera behind me and when i see that the monster is about to hit me i press B and it just works. The problem is that if i'm not near anything i'm going down anyways.

My friend runs into a bug that when he wiggles out from the killer he automatically goes into a crouch and can't move for a few seconds. So he always gets downed right away.
Anyone else get this bug? Happened to me once for sure but he's seen it about 5 times. Super frustrating.

As a survivor i don't like it either if that helps. The heart beat of the killer is almost always heard. is like the game stage but much worse.

Thats not true. Insulting as well. Look not everyone is as good as you or i'm sure many here in this forum. The game is made up of different people with different skill levels.
Would it be great if i could avoid the blast and all my teammates as well? Sure. But we can't and it's killing the game for some.
Do you want the game to lose it's appeal to everyone other than the most hardcore and devoted? I'm sure the devs don't want that.
I personally just don't hold the run button and run around and i still get blasted. Hell sometimes it seems i'm way across the map and for some reason i still get blasted. Does he have a long range one? Either way it's such an annoying power that even if you do get better at avoiding it the game just isn't fun with this mechanic.
Anyhow, i'm running Calm Spirit now so F that killer. It just feels weird when i get hooked and i don't scream. Can my teammates still tell that ive been hooked?

the doctor kept trying to shock me and couldn’t. I escaped him 3 times easily and he gave up cause generators kept popping. He was so surprised he wasn’t making me scream. I finished 4 generators while others were screaming all over and got out with ease. I love this perk!!!!!!!’

If you're that good at losing other killers, you should have absolutely no problem with Doc even if he does know where you are. You don't have to find playing against him enjoyable but you have to admit that in terms of pure chasing power, Doc does not compare to some other killers. Especially on the new map where it's confusing as hell for anybody to even find their way around.
I'm not trashing on you by any means either, so don't take it that way. I think Calm Spirit is actually a pretty alright perk, not only against the Doctor. I just find it kind of funny that you hate Doctor because you, as I said, feel like you can't stay away from him (he just finds you again) when there's plenty of other killers that are just like that. Right off the top of my head, I can name 3 killers that I can outplay and outplay but no matter what, they're still almost always going to be right back on me: Nurse, Spirit, Billy. I can elude all these killers and no matter what they'll still be relentlessly chasing me, unless one of them just really goes and gets extra confused. Most of the time though, a good one of those killers won't be confused about things. I know it's not exactly the same thing that you said with Doc, because you say you lose him at least but still get found, but with all the other killers it just reminds me of that same exact feeling of, "oh look I outplayed and outplayed this killer and yet I still can't get away because they're literally just that fast." Just thought it was kind of funny that you get that feeling the most from Doc of all killers, when there's several others I can think of that are much more annoying (in my opinion).
It’s not so much about the chase is when you lose them. Other killers you lose them and they have to try hard to find you. It’s a cat and mouse game. You lose the doctor and he’ll use his power, shock you and the chase starts again. You can only outrun a killer so many times even if he slow like the doctor. I’m good but not a pro.
so when I lose the doctor my choice is to run and get far away fast. But that means he’ll see my scratch marks most likely or he might shock me before I even get far enough to escape it.
i just Fng hate him. Other killers are tough too but fair. This guy just sucks. No fun at all.

No I do fine against all other killers. Because I can use skill and mind games and lose them. When I lose the doctor he just shocked me to see where I am and it starts again. It’s awful. In fact I just played a killer right now and it was the worse. Made me want to quit the game. It was in the new level and he would shock all 4 of us at the same time every time. Miserable experience. I don’t have any friends that find playing against him enjoyable
god just a few more blood points to unlock calm spirit. Just a few more. I can’t wait.
