  • Short: Survivors have to, Killers need to (but it's still there decision)

  • Just add a Totem Counter to Small Game, like Killers have with TotH. Problem solved.

Tho when i play Survivor i run the Inner Strenght - Dective Hunch Combo anyway.

  • Funny thing is: As a Huntress main of course i got the Hound Mask, but i rarely wear it.

I personly don't like the look of it, aesthetic-wise. She looks a bit dump for me with it.

I feel the debate is also always a bit like: People want what they can't get the most...

  • Wouldn't have a problem to have the option for an 5th random perk slot in trade of using no Addons and/or Offerings. As Killer! For Survivors i'm not sure as there are 4 of them which makes potential +4 Perks + at least 2 Chests.

  • Awesome, thx again. Looking forward it!

  • Thank you. I'm a big fan of the Wono Axe, but the lacquered one really tops it.

Do you have a Screen how it looks ingame aswell, like in a match?

  • The thing is, people who DC on purpose WILL find other ways if they get punished. They could just die on hook, which is even harder to track. I thought alot about this, and i'm sure BHVR aswell.

It's ridiculus on Xbox right now. When i play survivor it's more common that at least 1 player will DC then all 4 are playing till the end. But it wouldn't make a big difference if that person DCs or just goes afk / die on the hook quick.

  • With your unlocked Perks try Ruin - Hounted Ground - Brutal Strength (works well with his Bottles) - BBQ

  • Killers should have an inbuild Ruin while playing in red ranks, Like a not changeable 5th Perk.

And Hex Perks in general shouldn't be lighted up so the Survivors have to cleanse more of them till they eventually break the right one.

  • As a Pig Main i would also say go for Brutal. Since Enduring got nerfed (from 75% to 50% and doesn't work with DS anymore) i switched to Brutal. It also works on Gens which... well, just feels good but doesn't really make a difference. But if you break a pallet on the right side and/or Survivors are not aware that you have Brutal you can end chases quicker . Just don't break every Pallet (instantly), only the good ones as you don't have enough time.

  • Can't remind BHVR ever said something like "get better". The Community? Well, that's a different Story.

DbD is balanced around Rank 10. And as long they keep the Rank System, it won't change. That's why i'm never in a rush to reach R1 EVERY Season. Playing Killer in the higher Ranks can be frustrating, stressfull and unrewarding. If you get a big Map and solid Survivors there, it is mostly a GG (excapt you're playing the Top 3 Killers). Even if you play "fair" and put alot of pressure of the whole Team (by not focusing a single Survivor), you might end with only 1-2 Kills and "lose".

Only thing i can think of is giving Killers a 5th Perk (like an inbuild Ruin) or add 1 additional Gen when playing in purple/red Ranks. That's only an example. But everybody who is playing both sides should see, that it's way to easy to Pip or escape for Survivors in the higher Ranks, even solo.

  • It would be awesome to let her ROAR after or while she's hitting a Survivor. Many Pigs asked for this. But sadly, it was never like that. That's why you shouldn't crouch all the time, at least if you're not on a really small Map. What they did change is the time it takes to crouch and un-crouch, you don't need the Addon anymore. So it's even more effective to just stand up when you see them as it takes a few seconds till they hear your Terrorradius. On bigger Map you should use the Ambush Attack most of the time on small Loops. There is also a little Mindgame in it if you change the direction quick. You can also Mindgame T and L Walls and even Jungle Gyms by just going in Stealth Mode. You won't believe how many Surviors will leave the Area because they feel unsecure about where you are.

It's a bit out-dated but most things are still relevant.

    Happy *Boop*

  • Just keep in mind she's (at least for me) most rewarding Killer in the game. I only play her for fun and good shots. Idc about ranking. Nothing better to get a GG from Survivors respecting a solid Huntress, especially on console. If you get toxic msgs, just think about they prob never tried her and couldn't hit a single hatchet. High Rank Huntresses are pretty rare on Console. There's def a reason for it, that's why i always respect her.

  • If you think about how her Hatchtes fly, just imagine an Ark. If you for example see a Survivor with Nurses Calling (NC) healing behind a small object, just aim a bit higher to hit him/her (and not the object). It's hard to explain. Most good Huntresses don't need to think about it, it's just muscle memory which comes with experience. Just practice ALOT and you WILL get better. M&A = Monitor and Abuse Perk, but i only would suggest to use it for your Trophy and in lower Ranks, since it only affects her Terrorradius, not her Humming.

  • If you struggle with long shots Nurses Calling (Tier 3) will help. Just keep in mind it'll trigger till 28m, you just need 24m for the Trophy. Survivors Hitboxes still are extended if they heal or get healed, it's like they're standing. Go for curve Shots (i would advice to not charge them) to hit them over small objects while healing (it will not work if they're just crouched). Combine this with Sloppy (she has also Addons for that) + M&A to suprise them, it will help you alot. At least till you entered Red Ranks. I'm R3 on Xbox right now using NC, Sloppy, Ruin and Blood Warden. Might change to Whispers, BBQ, Shadowborn and Ruin now. It's prob her best Build, at least on PC.

Also watch this guide. Never gets old and helped alot Huntresses:

  • Look at Sea of Thieves. There was an Alpha and Beta on Xbox back in the days and now we have Sea of Thieves Pionieers, a seperate build where everybody can apply an invite.

It's an MS Exclusive tho of course and i think it's more difficult and would take more afford to do this for Dbd on (soon) 3 plattforms.

  • Corrupt might be better in these "Ruin down after 20 seconds" cases, but overall Ruin beats Corrupt. I also exp bad last 3 gens locations in the endgame using Corrupt. And don't run both, they have 2 min just searching for ruin then.

  • I wouldn't advice to do dull totems when you know the killer is close. I only can speak for myself, but i can hear the cleansing around like... 10 meters? And i'm changing targets quick.

  • As killer you should be able to hunt by visual and audio 50/50. I always did. And i'm pretty sure it's also intended by BHVR. And yes, sounds are fine for the most part now. But maybe it's just me using Beyerdynamic 990 Pro (Stereo) with an Astro Mix Amp (with virtual 5.1).

I think what most people are saying is that the chase music is to loud, and that's defintly true. To be honest, it was way to quit with the last patch. But now it seems just as loud as before (even when they say it should be quiter). Still i have no problem to pinpoint injured survivors... when not in a chase.

My advice would be to lower the chase music by 50%. That way the music would be still there (as it is also important to have music at all). Or just give us the slider, but only from 50%-100%. That way nobody can have an unfair advantage.
