It's still a joke lol, the only thing it does it keeping you from standing directly at the hook. But the anti-camp is not even close to the joke ideas above, that would be absolutely insane and destroy every little try to balance this game in any way.
-
What did i read? This has to be a joke!
Alone the backgroundplayer thing is absolutely stupid. You can already save over half the map with it.
I don't even have to start with the palettes making chases basically infinite or mft that makes basically every killer the same speed like huntress or even slower.
The only thing that would make this any balanced is insta-mori on m1.

Tja was mich angeht:
Ich habe "fair" spielen bzw. zurückhaltend spielen vor langer Zeit schon aufgegeben, das einzige was du bekommst davon ist nen tbag im gate. Du bekommst kein gg oder sonstiges im großteil der Fälle (in meinem Fall tatsächlich öfter in games wo ich mit tunneln und campen gespielt habe).
Naja ich versuche aber auch net explizit zu tunneln oder zu campen, ich mache es nur wenn es mir angeboten wird von den survivorn durch Fehler.
Was ds angeht:
Was hatch-escapes angeht:
Was bodyblocken angeht:
Was das tunneln at least angeht:
Ich werde tatsächlich gerne getunnelt, ich hab Spaß dran so lange wie möglich zu versuchen zu überleben während der killer alles tut um nur mich spezifisch zu töten.
Naja das ist alles nur meine eigene Meinung und natürlich nicht allgemeingültig.

So I started playing killer where old coldwin and haddonfield were still there and got often bullied before I reached 200 hours i think, after that I feel like it got much better. You just have to power through it I guess.
Besides that I think killer is easier at the start to learn, I'm killermain so I saw a lot of new survivors and it's pretty easy to kill them if you want to and they can basically do nothing about it. A new killer is always a threat and could possibly kill you even tho it nearly never happens.
-
Gen-tappen erfordert jetzt 5% progress
Buckle-up buff (zusammen mit for the people ne eklige kombi)
-
I mean I almost never play survivor but the times I did i never saw one. I do know how to play against her mostly from watching matches against her from streamers or tournaments, but i'm pretty sure that this would be pretty hard to do without swf if the killer is good.
-
"Nobody" haha xD
Like I said in another Post:
I actually like being tunneled because it's fun for me just to try to survivor for as long as possible.
But i have to admit that I play mostly killer and tunnel myself in chosen matches if I want to win them at any prize. So I'm probably not the best person to ask
-
I'd prefer to not just get kicked because I live in a village haha xD
But yes, I don't know why killerping isn't shown anywhere and i should be :D
-
So i play mostly killer and warry between matches where i decide to tunnel and camp and don't decide to do that:
for me it wouldn't make any difference if i get no points or even points taken for tunneling.
I can just use it kind of as an ace:
"I want to win this game at any price so i tunnel now and get nothing out of it"
or
"i don't care to win this game so why would i tunnel and loose my points?"
So for me it wouldn't really stop me from doing it, i'd even play 5 matches without getting anything out of it if I want to win this 5 matches.
Well i'm probably very weird anyways because I like being tunneled as survivor personaly.
-
I don't dodge lobbys at all as killer, i only change my build if there are 3 flashlights. Other than that i see everything as a challenge, i'd like to play against tournament players more often just to see how good i really am
-
I'm gonna be honest, i don't think silent crying will do too much against tunneling, before the nerf it was normal that basically no survivor had grunds of pain and it wasn't too much harder.
-
While I don't have anything against learning survivor (I'm mostly playing killer) I have to admit that I really don't like being forced to play a specific role and or character. I'd prefer them to try to encourage a more even playerbase more passively.
(And yes I know that that wouldn't matter for me too much because at least in my MMR-Range in Europe it's mostly killers that have a lower playercount. But I wanted to tell my view anyways)
-
Well I agree some people are really annoying. I prefer to be nice as long as I can and if they are rude I'm just annoying them until they give up.
Regarding the Trapping:
Don't know how exactly you mean it, but if they hold you in a corner the entire match you can report them for that. You can't report for bleeding you out tho.
-
Depending on the playstyle i think:
I'm using Artist kind of as a huntress, I even try to snipe you through the walls while running after you. So I don't use her too much to deny loops completely. I think that would be pretty fun and interactive at least for me.
At the same time I find the mindgames with hugtechs, moonrushes and 180s pretty fun and interactive too.
So i can't tell whats more interactive but I'd guess most people just use Artist to deny loops and therefore I'd say Blight is more interactive.
-
That sounds pretty funny: but at the same time good luck doing anything with the metal ones on the game and good luck doing anything on shelter woods with the plactic ones.
Besides that, that would make the game even more complex regarding builds and playstyles and I don't think that would apeal too many people.
-
Sounds interessting but also insanely hard to balance with effects you want to give them.
Easy Suture: Sounds good i think.
Silent Crying: first i want to say i really like the name. I think the existence from Easy Suture makes it not worth using. You could just heal the unhooked person in 8 seconds instead of giving them those effects while they are injured.
Ghost Essence: Same on this one.
Phoenix Blood: That one on the other hand sounds a little bit to strong because it can give all 4 people UB and I can't read out of it if it's only 1 time or even more than 1 time.
Patience: Idk sounds okay i guess, don't really know how often it will do anything.
Brittle Metal: Sounds like it would be more a negative than a plus for every combination. Could be good in some cases as single perk i think.
-
I'd be okay with it because you couldn't give away informations against stealthkillers over the entire map.
At the same time i think it would matter to little without global voice-chat because the information you have would be the same information the other people have potentialy. And yes you could talk about strategies, but you can't really give informations while you're playing them out, so they would most likely break after the slightest difference in the things the killer does.
And if you really want to make the killer hear the voice-chat too, please just give me a option to deactivate that, i really don't want to hear them talk while chasing.
-
I just play like I would normally, I don't want to waste my time farming every time someone leaves, it happens way to often because of way to many reasons. But I'm more likely to give the hatch depending on my mood aswell.
-
I don't even feel like solo is the problem for me most of the time, it's just the people playing.
I got a match against plague a few days ago where the claudet decided to cleanse in my chase 2 meters beside me instead of doing the last gen, the plague obviously picked it up downed us both and we died.
-
I would agree with you if i didn't see too many cheaters that just die even with cheats, it's unreal how many of them are just killable anyways.
-
The difference between Noed and the NWO and RM is that Noed doesn't require you to do anything and the counterplay is RNG-based because you don't know which totem it is and where it is.
NWO and RM both require you to do something before having full power and the requirements are causing you to loose pressure in a game where you already only have 2 perks, besides that the counterplay is pretty clear: touch the gate as soon as possible and hide until NWO is gone, after that you can start to distract the killer and open the door.
Now you can argue that it's not possible to do the counterplay as the last survivor, but at that point you are highly unfavored anyways, your role is balanced around having 3 mates besides you but they are already dead.
I can't even understand why you think you would "win" (you lost anyways because you only got out because you opened the gate after everyone died and the hatch was closed), i'm no survivor-main, but your situation is basically doors open and survivors are not injured, its a situation where i lost anyways even if I get one out of luck.
Well the only nerf i could imagine they could make would be that those 2 perks don't activate after the hatch is closed. But I don't see a reason for them to do that honestly.
-
I've red the entire posts until now and the only thing i get from that is that you don't understand in what situation you are and that you already lost in a match were the killer only had 2 perks.
The killer killed 3 persons before you with only 2 perks and found the hatch first: So you lost your first chance as a team and your second as the last survivor.
For me that sounds like your team couldn't even hold up against a killer with only 2 perks, so you must have misplayed terribly or the killer is just better. At that point the win of the killer is deserved and the hatch is just the last thing for the survivors to get anything out of the match, and you didn't even get that because the killer found it first on a "fair" 50/50. So for me it sounds pretty "fair" if the killer wins like this, the other 2 perks hardly make any difference because you wouldn't able to open a door anyways if they are not terrible placed for the killer.
-
I'm mostly playing killer and don't think i get to crazy killers if i'm ever playing survivor, but i really like playing against nurses.
I won't win most of the times but it's very different regarding mindgames against her and therefore very fun to me to play
-
You could see it like this, yes. But it's no animation in case of spirit as excampel:
(I read it from the wiki)
Her Power has a base of 5 charges and she uses 1 charge per seconds (means she can phase 5 seconds).
Her recharge RATE is 0.33 charges per second.
That mean you have a recharge TIME of 3 seconds roughly per second she phases.
So after 3 seconds phasing you'd have to wait 9 seconds before you can do it again
-
I guess you could name a few things with more than one word, but it's for me kind of useless to even think about, because I understand what they mean by that as long as I know how the power works. Without that information the addons are very cryptic to read anyways and you will understand it only by playing.
As excampel oak haft: you can say its the recovery after throwing but at the same time it means the cooldown until you can throw again.
As long as I know that huntress doesn't have a time she needs to wait until she can throw again besides the animation I know that "cooldown" means waiting for the animation or recovery however you want to call it.
Without that I would probably think she has a time to wait besides the animation and would only understand it ingame.
-
Right carrion doesn't let you attack quicker after shooting but that doesn't mean its not the cooldown getting reduced.
In case of oak haft its the animation that is meant as cooldown, in case of carrion the cooldown is the time you have to wait until you can place birds again (so the red bar around the picture of the power).
Carrion reduces the Cooldown Time (don't know why they decided to place the "time" there, "cooldown" would have been enough) and not the recharge time.
That addon you have there is from blight and means that instead of the base-recharge time of 2 second for every token, he now gets a token every 1.66 seconds so its reducing his recharge time by 1.32 seconds at maximum.
recharge TIME = the time required to get the charges back (lets say you need 16 charges for the entire ability as excample)
recharge RATE = charges per seconds
So if you need 16 charges and you recharge 2 charges per second you have a recharge TIME of 8 seconds, if you only recharge 1 charge per second you have a recharge TIME of 16 seconds
-
Sorry didn't read the first reply, the "xD" is not meant as a mockery or anything, I just like to bring in some emotions with emojis. In that case I laughed because he told me a thing I didn't knew but the point was still correct.
And all good, I'm from germany and some things can be hard to understand but I don't feel like the discriptions of the addons you showed are that bad to read and understand.
-
Thats cooldown in both cases lol, a cooldown is a time you have to wait before you can do an action again.
In case of oak haft attacking, vaulting, you name it and in case of carrion setting crows again. Please don't make it harder than it is.
-
That could be, thats not in my knowledge, but I know its not the time you are slowed like stated by the creator xD
-
The addons do exactly what they say:
the tongue doesn't do the same as the festering carrion, the tongue reduces your slowdown after firing and the carrion reduces the time you have to wait until you can set birds again (the cooldown).
The oak haft reduces the time you have to wait until you can use your hatchets or basic attack again after a throw (the cooldown).
Same with the good guy box that reduces the time you have to wait until you can use a basic attack again after a slice % dice by 7% (the cooldown).
-
I'm maining killers for a certain time and then switch to another. I've gone through pig, blight, huntress, deathslinger, chucky and now singularity xD
-
I just love the feeling of playing killer so that's what i do most of the time. I basically only play survivor with friends.
-
I'm able to get 1-2 kills more or less consistent, but its brutal to get more than this. Well i play singularaty at the moment and I don't play him very much, maybe thats why xD
-
I reported a cheater without a video and got the notification that he was banned so generally: no.
But I think it helps quite a bit to have a video.
-
Well nothing new to be buggy for dbd. You could ask the support if they are able to do something, they are really nice people from my expierince.
-
I think this could make him actually weaker, his hitbox is more than enough to hit everything if you use your rushes good and the hitbox at the start is good for shoulderflicks (you run against the survivor and flick to the side were they are, the hitbox is so big you can sometimes hit survivors that you don't even see).
-
I mean its the same as killer at the moment. I get many swfs sometimes containing out of 1-3 p100s with bnps and a ton of second-chance/gen-speed perks, they like to bring ormount, eyries, garden of pain or rpd mostly.
Could be because of the bloodhunt in combination with SBMM i guess.
-
Maybe it's buggy. It was one of the base-perks after they removed him and they said now that he's back it will be an character-perk again after a while. So I guess it just took it away and ignored the shrine for some reason.
-
So first of all: if you don't even get a single gen done its for sure a problem on your side, i almost never saw a game where this was even the case in soloQ.
Then:
Instadowns have a condition most of the time - if you learn them its pretty easy to avoid, besides that you can loop most of them for the time they are going.
Invisibile killers are not really a problem if you pay attention to sound, spirit is a little bit brutal to play against - yes, but its a normal m1 killer for the most part.
Undetacable is not a problem most of the time if you pay attention, they have conditions or can only be active at certain times so you can learn that.
Fast killer have restrictions in their turnrates and turnangels most of the time, you just have to learn what they can and can't do - you need to be okay at looping against normal killers first of course.
The thing with windows is an ping-issue, if the killer hits you on their but not your screen, then its a hit - the killer gets always the advantage at hits beside palette-stuns.
Aura-perks are bound to conditions so you have to learn them and hide if its so annoying for you or you just learn to loop him even if the killer finds you - whats the more interessting solution anyways.
About infectious fright i don't really know what to say? Don't be in his terrorradius while he downs someone or loop him i guess? its really not an insane effect.
For the anti-camping feature: yes it is really underwhelming most of the time, they should tweak it a bit for sure.
And for the last: just play the game more and learn anything about it before you just say everythings too strong. I saw many survivors in my games as killer and survivor that knew what they are doing, so its very possible to loop killers - they just need an different aproach each.
-
Yes you get an message if any action was taken (I got it at the after starting the game, don't know if you get it while being in the lobby too) :D
