Anything vote wise will be biased due to the nature of the game.

So you're damn right I wanna protect who I just hooked.
and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
In fact, it is an intended mechanic that the Killer defends their prey against the others, so defending the hook is, at least in my opinion, not at all a bad thing.
i believe that the term "camping" only applies when the Killer has no knowledge of other Survivors closeby to the hook. For as long as i know there is someone around me waiting to get an unhook, why would anyone expect me to just leave and give it to them for free?
and this is exactly where so many peoples opinion on what a camp is go apart (amongst other things).
It's all biased opinions really. One side defends it because we need to or it might cause us issues further down the line. The others, it's their main objective, escaping alive.
I'm glad there's at least a bit of legitimate discussion on it because I'd like good, consistent ideas.
I also think some people see anything you do as BM, like with ghostface I might crouch over a survivor at a pallet to bait anyone out.

i would like to have an actual clarification on what "camping" even is before we talk about removing it.
yes, we all know what the general idea of "camping" is, but as soon as we get into the details that breaks apart.
for example, when is the Killer camping and when are they defending their hook? or does "defending the hook" even exist? is there a set distance to when we can consider it a camp? what if the Killer is doing some actions around the hooked person? and what if the Killer knows someone is around?
i could go on, but you get the idea.
I think in most minds, you're camping if you're remotely within eyesight of the hooked. As much as it's a joke usually, the whole idea of "defending the hook" doesn't exist with a lot of people.
Hell I know half the time I'm still struggling to get to it with some still running BO and body blocking. So you're damn right I wanna protect who I just hooked.

@JamnJelly Iron Will, Resurgence, Solidarity, We'll Make It
I was playing Jeff, solo, not BM'ing, not screwing over teammates (some killers will BM if they see survivors doing this); I was the first one hooked at 5 gens remaining. The killer refused to hook me after that.
If it was only you, I think they probably misinterpreted something. I BM occasionally is I see a survivor straight messing with another. The loser in that case is guaranteed hatch if they don't get gates.
Although killers can't really take it hostage indefinitely, I think your teammates knew what they were doing.
Nice build btw, I think imma try it.

The killer slugged me and refused to hook me on the basement hook two meters away.
I was unable to play the game, nor lose and move onto the next match.
Let survivors hold Sprint in the dying state to bleed out faster.
Make it a new mechanic, where survivors can crawl faster by holding Sprint, at the cost of bleedout time. Tenacity would let survivors Sprint-crawl for free (and must hold the sprint button while stationary in order to simply bleed out faster if they so choose).
What was your load out?

I think it goes to show that they aren't busted, especially when nobody can seem to agree on who's actually the strongest.

I just want to say, that I made this post as a Killer player. I think both the boil over issue and now the blockable staircase issue are both ridiculous. The current staircase issue just seems a bit worse, since it doesn't require a specific build or setup to work and also isn't intended in any way.
Idk, I feel like a game being able to be held hostage seems a bit......worse at least imo.
Then again I admit I'm biased, I hate boil over.

Blight is well balanced. That build is fine, i used to run it on Nurse sometimes (Surveillance - Tinkerer - Ruin - Undying) and actual good teams knows how to work around it. It is only a problem to uncoordinated teams and to avg and below avg SoloQ players. And don't throw the SoloQ argument at me, this game ain't only SoloQ, and the Killer ain't there to baby sit a player just because he's a SoloQ, get over it.
Killer that can abuse the game mechanics as well, im talking about that mouse DPI
Using DPI ain't an exploit and not abusing, but if you want then coms are an exploit too.
Getting clapped by a good killer with good build that you don't like isn't a reason for it being nerfed to your level. Take a deep breath and accept that you're not as good as you think you are, there's no shame in it, accept it and work on getting better rather than getting tilted.
Nurse and Blight will have it hard against equally good opponents. But sadly you only view it as ( Good Nurse/Blight Vs average Survivor ) instead of using equal sides, therefore you think they are unstoppable.
Here is Ayrun having it hard against only one tourny player https://youtu.be/6Z-vk9tQ4J8
Your other comments shows that you're far from being a good player thinking that clown is OP and only low tier killers are fair. So hopefully you will learn more and feel comfortable taking on competent killers and not just fodders.
And i still hold my stance, this is a skill issue and not balancing issue.
Anyway don't expect another reply from me, i'm not active much. Cheers
This is the comment I was looking for. OP and this dude seem to get upset at anything killers have.

Why change it?

Hi, I play on console. That means I play with a controller. Due to the new boil over I can barely move when I pick up a survior with this perk. I have played this game for years. I know how to make the wiggle work in your favor if you lean into it. But with these new changes to boil over it does not matter what I do, I can barely move. I'm sure I'm not the only console killer experiencing this. Every game if someone has boil over I cannot hook them. Ar first I thought they were cheating. I legitimately thought the survior was cheating because I could barely move. But no, its every game.
This is ridiculous and is exclusively an issue on console. This needs to change.
I don't know if it's happened for anyone else, but I honestly have been stuck in place without even touching anything. Like, I can't push my thumb stick any harder, it's as far as it goes and it's still pulling me, or stopping me.
-
It's not terrible and adds a bit to the chase, but it does offer plenty of ######### moments. Would you all change it or just want it gone?

Hex Totem should look like dulls, until someone is getting near it.
Atleast in the beginning of the match people would run towards the out in the open totems to check if they´re lit or not.
For all I know they were searching for them. Usually when they go down quick I didn't spawn near a single one. Then again, most of my matches today are RPD, The corn maze one I forget the name of, and Gideon
-
Tested it out of about ten matches each with one, two, or three hexes.
One lasted maybe 40 seconds at best. It wasn't even one gen done yet in most cases. (And the majority of just one, I ran third seal.)
Two, about 30 seconds. (Third seal/devour, devour/ruin, undying/haunted ground.)
Three, was a weird mix of almost instantly gone, or lasting til endgame. Leaning more on the gone side, but still. (Undying/third seal/haunted ground, or haunted ground/ruin/devour).

Only weak Killers are fair?
That's how it works, yeah? Because you shouldn't have the ability to juggle between multiple objectives without amount of speed, anti loop, or more consistent use of your powers.

Nah, just look out for ttv or YT players. Streamers are the ones you need to worry about. I avoid those teams like the plague
I've maybe had one or two TTV or YT in the past month. Mind you I'm playing on console so I'm salty for various reasons.

Because its not used for matchmaking
1. Something is being used for mmr, and we should be able to have an idea of who we're going against.
2. It gives at least an idea, since they would have a had to grind up to that point either way, right?

We actually used to be able to see the ranks back when ranks were vaguely a better way of knowing who is liked to be skilled. The problem became that red rank queue times started to get insanely long because people would dodge lobbies with red rank players. Honestly, I miss being able to see that sort of stuff because quite frankly I don't enjoy playing people who are more likely to be expecting super sweaty gameplay and thus will play super sweaty themselves while I might be trying to just figure out how a new killer.
Being able to just back out and try and find a softer lobby is a nice to have, but ultimately people got real tired of having hour+ wait times between games and it needed to be adjusted somehow.
I can see why it was changed then. But it's a bit frustrating when you can't really practice, and you're only solution is to go into a game against people with quite likely 5x the amount of time in game than you. I'm sure there's a way to fix it where the queue times aren't as high, but we'd need a bigger player base I imagine.

No, people should not be able to see each others ranks even after the match
And why is that?

And some people still complaint about that add-on being broken. 🙄
Because its instakill.
"You didn't chase me around for two gens to down me, so that's broken."
-
How would you fix that so a killer that's running around the hook doesn't get punished?
And if the killer knows there's a couple survivors nearby, should they be expected to just leave and take the inevitable bait from one of those two?

@Tiufal said:
Its just shows killer entitlement. Killers are allowed to be annoying af to survivors, but if its the other way round the game is unplayable/broken and must be changed immediately. Double standards at its best.
You bring up entitlement, but unless you bring in Agitation and Iron Grasp, certain maps you can't make it to a hook at all, particularly on console. There's no counter real counter except bringing two perks specifically for that.
You call that entitlement? It's literally halts any real progress and people know that. So they abuse it.
