Consider that it's 10 seconds in which a player is forced to be afk, you can't prolong that time too much or people would just get frustrated and probably DC.
But there's a very simple way to avoid that happening. You simply don't run into a locker every time Victor so much as twitches in your direction and you'll never get trapped in one.

Every pink addon on the survivors side they've touched in the past two years has been "nerfed into the ground", no one runs odd bulb, no one runs BNPs, no one really uses needles, they're all pretty irrelevant compared to their first iterations.
I feel very confident that the keys will get nerfed into the ground as well.
Since when did nobody use them? I see both on a regular basis. My last match alone had two BNPs.

Even playing as a killer I'd say that mori's are worst than keys, specially ebony mori, but it still makes much more sense to nerf keys as well. And taking the opportunity make offerings for hatch in this or that place not brown, but at least green or yellow. Moreover, they should also make the hand that denies maps more common for killer's bloodwebs, since it's 4 players against one multiple matches picking their favorite maps, also good for ballance.
Both are equally bad. Both allow you to skip objectives and still get a free win but keys are worse in my opinion because you can find them mid game and the killer can do nothing about it.
Also last second character switching as survivor needs to go. Killers are locked in so why aren't survivors?
-
I'm also happy to see them nerfed. So long as keys are also nerfed. Keys haven't been nerfed though so Mori's shouldn't either.
-
Some of the changes are a step in the right direction but not enough or completely redundant.
Make Victor immediately latch on to anyone entering a locker in his vicinity.
Make having him attached apply deep wound and down you if not removed quickly.
Instead of nerfing average perks buff the weak ones and nerf the op ones (looking at you object of obsession)
Instead of it's current lackluster regression effect make oppression actually regress gens enough to be worth using because standard regression is pathetic.

I honestly don't think that Undying was designed with the fact that newer maps have some totems that are close to impossible to find in mind. The least they could do is tell a survivor that Undying is active when cleansing/standing within the aura reading range of a totem.
I'd love to get one of those totem spots! Every time I've ever run undying ruin it's been gone in less than a minute!
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Seriously? Undying is ridiculous? You realise that survivors can (and in my experience always do) spawn right on top of both ruin and undying and get rid of both before the killer can even reach either of them?
Name a single survivor perk that can be removed 10 seconds into a game with no possible way to prevent it?
I'll wait...

Hoarder is bugged in the PTB, it doesn't spawn extra chests or reduce the rarity of items at the moment.
Even if it did do those things, I still think it needs a bit of a buff. It'll only really be something I'll slap on if there's a lobby of Aces or I'm playing Bubba. Maybe up the range and add a cool secondary effect, maybe like trapped chests or something.
But even if they don't buff it, we've now got a better basement detection perk than Territorial Imperative :^)
I think it should guarantee that no item is above yellow quality. Then it might actually be useful. Even if it is just a cliche counter to plunder's.

Hoarder would still be countering Pluderer’s increased rarity feature.
Players still getting keys when both Hoarder & Appraisal are in the match are just lucky because the odds of finding a key would be the same as normal when neither Hoarder or Appraisal is being used.
But they CAN find then. And even if they couldn't who wants to give them extra med kits? Or toolbox's? Or flashlights? It offers a very tiny benefit in return for a huge negative!

It REDUCES the rarity of items. Survivors will not be able to obtain keys. Or keys will be extremely rare in chests when running Hoarder.
I've seen people getting keys in the ptb using Elodies perk when the killer had hoarder. Also plunder's instinct.

Reduced rarity doesn't mean impossible. I've seen people in the ptb getting keys using Elodie's perk even though the killer had hoarder. Also plunder's instinct.

Hoarder is horrible. Far from helping the killer it straight up benefits every survivor in the match instead. How is giving them more med kits keys and toolbox's supposed to help the killer exactly?
-
Any argument you may have had is buried under your cringy use of killers first names

I hate her voice. Zarina is my favourite voice because she actually sounds like she's in a lot of pain especially when she's hooked and you can hear her sobbing.

Justice from reports rarely comes to fruition right? So yeah, you, for tattletaling in the forums.
I believe the term is asking for opinions 😂 Or did I somehow miss the part where I named them? 🤔

If you knew they were there why didn't you just down them both? If you didn't want the other survivor to depip because of these guys you could have just let these two die and give the last survivor the hatch. Making a survivor cooperate to kill their team is actually an offense and can get the survivor banned
I'm trying to level up a lot of killers and I'm short of add ons for the killers I do have leveled.
I need the BP 🤷♂️

You have adequately described an online interaction.
Fair point 😂

If they were abusing a deadzone, you should have just downed them and let them bleed out. They were asking for it and have no-one to blame but themselves and terrible game design, but mostly themselves.
I did. But by that point the game was pointless. The one solo couldn't do gens because she was alone and they wouldn't come out of the corner even to heal her. She was also death hook so had I hooked her the game would have been basically over. They literally killed any fun and competitiveness just so they could deny me points.

@Yamaoka said:
They can't hold the game hostage by running in a corner since you can just down them in said corner and let them bleed out ending the match.
Teaming with a survivor on the other hand is a bannable offense. It's called "teaming with the opposite team".*
* = I'm referring to this part of the thread:
"so I asked the other [survivor] to try and heal them as soon as I dropped them so I could immediately down them again and reach a hook."
I get that but up until that point I was playing properly. It was only after this happened that I even told her I was in her lobby.
In the end they did bleed out but it completely ruined the entire game especially for the person now trying to do every single gen solo.

You for being a tattle tale. Slug them and let them bleed out.
If they reported me doesn't that make them the tattle tales?
-
Huntress no contest. Lullaby is a hex, very situational, requires powering up and even then doesn't guarantee value and that's far and away her best perk!
-
It's the most overpowered perk in the game on both sides. It offers huge utility (that I and many others touched upon in the other thread) and potential and has little to no counter play.
The only real counter play is blindness that outside of object and slugging builds is almost useless!

That might be a case of the free iron will bug which I mentioned is probably one of the only sound bugs atm.
I've encountered that before but this was different. At times I could hear him almost as if he was right on top of me but when he actually was nearby it sounded as though he wasn't.

Were you standing right in front of the generator? Cause that would explain a lot.
the sounds may not be perfect but they are far better than they used to be, and ppl won’t admit it.
Nope. The generator was on the far side of the room and Bill was only on the far side of the pallet.

I think that with the last 2 patches there is a new healer meta. If I look at the killers that you play as, they're all killers that rely on getting survivors injured and keeping them injured. With the meta being what it is, you may find more success with Plague, or Billy.
I play almost all the killers. I was just using those as examples because they are typically the ones I have most consistent results with. Plague is one I enjoy but never have been especially successful with.

Don't Nurse and Blight suck cheeks on console?
They're much harder but still playable. Although I don't play Nurse.

You know footsteps and survivor sounds are way louder now right? As well as the newdust animation which leaves a trail if you can't follow scratch marks up close.
Sounds have hoenstly never been better.
Couldn't disagree more. At one point last night I was chasing a Bill who was injured around one of the classroom pallets on Midwich. He had no iron will and I had stridor in any case and I couldn't hear him at all over the nearby generator and the chase music.

It's because events and new releases bring back a lot of veterans who had stopped playing for a while cause things got stale for them.
Yeah hopefully that's all it is. I did finish up the night with a very fun Leatherface 4k which was very nice.

@Kamizake12 said:
Because this is a 4v1, obviously killer will be harder
Yeah I understand that and that's part of what makes killer more enjoyable but it's only very recently I've been struggling. Before that I could reliably 4k with every killer bar nurse and Billy who I don't enjoy playing.

@Demogordon_Ramsay said:
My guess is that Survivors seem to be slowly but surely getting better at taping down the W key on their keyboard. And unless you're playing Nurse, Spirit, or Blight, you kind of can't do anything at all about it.
Xbox. And I am playing those killers! I play all the killers with the same recent non results.
-
I'm even playing against the exact same people! I recognise the gamertags (Xbox no cross play) and I know their tactics and sometimes even perks but I can't even get close a lot of the time!

I suffer this same conundrum. I feel like I’m getting worse with my mains other than Clown. Played for years, keep practicing, humbly try new things and new strategy to broaden my skill set, but I feel like I’m getting worse at the game because of how stomped I get by survivors.
I feel so shoehorned into only using Clown, because to me he’s the only killer I stand a chance with.
For me I've always done pretty well with Oni Spirit Legion and Pyramid head but those are the ones I'm currently struggling with the most! It's just so frustrating!
