To me Judgment is an amazing killer, at least now that they reverted her buffs of the last patch. I enjoy going against her a lot. She keeps you on your toes the entire time and chases against her are very fun.
I still wonder if she should not be able to see auras while controlling the beam, but I fear that would maybe reduce perk variety for her, and I am not sure if the aura builds really are that op on her.
The same way her power denies tons of perks???? Fair to me.
-
They lack creativity to do a good killer, first they released Jason with an overloaded kit made from pieces of other killers but better, cause they have to get money with the license, and now a killer that shoots a beam from anywhere in the map that can get aura like crazy with zero effort. Unknown has to land 2 balls of spit and needs to be relatively close to you to do so, at least there is A CHASE where PALLETS MATTER, cause that is another point, judgement power make most pallets useless since they don't need to chase you, just spam the beam till it hits with now an improved way of curving the hit making close range easier for them.
Can't heal cause of nurses, can't used any second chance perk cause of power, the stealh part of the game is gone. Yeah, they really don't know what the ######### to do with their game, I hope other asymm games become good rivals cause this slop is worse than ever.

See the thing is, you're avoiding a personal responsibility to adapt and deflecting it as the game not respecting you having a casual attitude in a semi-competitive game. If his kit were overloaded, he would be getting praised across the board by killer mains as another addition to the Nurse and Blight family, but opinions have been fairly mixed from what I've seen so verdict is still out on that one imo. Whenever a killer is new, they tend to do well based on adjustment period alone, with disproportionate impacts across various MMRs since those 5k+ hour players tend to adapt faster both as and against killers. There is nothing to stop more casual players from making that adaptation other than their own commitment (or lack thereof) so doing that for them ends up diluting the killer in the first place, like we saw with Krasue and Unknown. Sometimes changes are needed, but its important to make sure they're for the right reasons.
As for your experiences, if they're focused around survivors playing against him in tiktok vids, I can't imagine the perspective being very informative for his perspective, either in his limitations, his counters, or even the tendencies he calls out of his players. That was my point in focusing on his perspective rather than playing against him, the point of mindgames is to get into your opponents head and understand what they want to do, why, and how you can manipulate that decision process. You don't really get that type of perspective watching them from the outside, even when its being told to you through lecturing. Its a tenant in the Art of War, and it applies to this game quite a bit.
Too many words just to say my opinion is not valid just cause you say so. You could have saved it. I explained on my first post what makes him a pain for most people. If you bought the DLC congrats, I'm not spending a dime on this game since stuff like this happens.
Don't try to patronize me; I'm a player, like everyone else. I've faced +50 Vecnas in 1 week, I know what I'm talking about and what I've seen. I don't need to play as him to know what he does. It's not rocket science.

Out of curiosity, do you own him? If so, I recommend taking a day or two and only playing him until you run into players who give you trouble. I know matchmaking is pretty bad a lot of the time, but you should find at least one within that broad of a window. When you do, see how they give you trouble with things like LoS and leading shots, maximizing your reduced speed at loops, and turning your shots more into guesses than proper reads. If you get to the point where you find yourself zoning with the power more than spamming it, you've found your mark. He gives a very strong first impression, but he has a lot more counterplay than the post seems to identify, so it should help you deal with him substantially.
If you don't own him, you can at least rely on streamers recording high level matches as him. They don't have to be a killer main to have videos either playing as him and getting clowned on, or instructions on how to deal with stuff like juking and routing. Main reason I recommend playing if you can is because feeling what you want to do at any given time gives you insight into what the Vecna 2 Electric Boogaloo player probably wants to do as well, improving your mind games vs him in the process.
I'm not going to pretend his everything is well designed or implemented, but I feel you might benefit from better understanding how to play against him instead of seeing everything as a pure benefit in his kit.
I don't own him but I've seen plenty of streamers play against him. At least the videos that they usually upload on tiktok.
And I've seen how big streamers like alwaysafailure have complained about him and he is pretty darn good at playing this game. Vecna needs to be nerfed or refined cause in this actual state is hell for most of the players. Congrats to the people that have 5k+ hours I guess that live and breathe this game but the average player has a miserable experience against killers with such overloaded kits that remove the value of things as basic as palletes.
-
Vecna 2 has:
Infinite spam skill with almost no slowdown so he can catch up to you easily, not to mention is aoe and not precisely a small one, can go through walls, floors and introduces THE WHOLE TEAM on the upside down.
The clocks are a joke. They serve no purpose since the cleansing speed of the white part (wich is extremely short compared to the red one) is simply too slow you rather keep doing a gen than using them.
Can hold his vines all the time he wants and the slowdown is a joke, so he can zone you easily with them. All the people that say ''just hold W'' must have faced Vecnas with no functional braincells cause if the player has any trace of common sense zoning is too easy.
The only counter to the big aoe, if well placed is using any kind of speed boost and he has an addon that exhausts you so you have no means of avoiding it.
He even has addons to damage generators and break pallets with the undergate attack, wich makes him very time efficient.
Has a basekit mori that is faster than average so no need to hook for the third time and he will be done in no time to resume the chase after that, again, giving him more time.
Add all that to the usual totem build most of them seem to carry and voila, you have a killer that is obnoxious to the extreme, gg behavior. Can't wait to see the kill and escape rates so the people that bought the DLC and therefore are defending him can shut the hell up about ''how easy'' is to counter and ''the skill issue'' of the survivors.
-
Best counter: slippery meat. Everytime I face this ugly killer I take my chances and make the game shorter, more so if they bring (like most do) a totem build. Cause is not annoying enough perma being in the upside down and doing those useless clocks.
-
This killer is a free win if you have 2 braincells functioning. They need to nerf his speed while charging the vines otherwise he can catch up to you all the time with no downside and eventually hit since the aoe is big.
-
The problem is his speed, it's impossible to make distance even being hit.
-
I tried again now and it let me finally disable it, must have been a weird bug or something, issue fixed.

From the main menu :/

Are you trying to turn it off from the lobby or from the main menu? Because in the main menu it should work.
-
They did not disable it, they disable the option to turn it off.
That's what I'm complaining about, I would love not to play with crossplayers since the hacking issue has been over the top lately.
At least on my game is not possible to turn it off.

I don't think it's worth removing Knockout. It's an interesting perk, but unfortunately it's very rare for killers to take it.
Personally, I play mostly as survivors, and I find it interesting to play against Knockout. It's not easy to use it on a killer. I remember playing against Trapper with Knockout on Lary, it was funny mindgames.
To resist Knockout, you can take Tenacity (Detective Tapp's perk), a totem for self-raising or Adrenaline.
And just being a survivor, keep an eye on your comrades: remember where they run, so that you can come there and pick them up later. Yes, it requires a little more attention from the survivor to other players, but that's the interest of the game.I'm not spending money on this game that's for sure, but i've been waiting for certain perks to hit the shrine and Tenacity is one of them. I don't see nothing interesting of being left on the floor, recover, hit, left on the floor again, is not interactive at all, it stales the game and is obnoxious.
The thing is the main arguments these people use to defend the perk is SFW, but then say a good SFW can counter so… if they rank the perks importance on if they work against SFW but this one doesn't, why do the care so much?
The solo q experience is already miserable, add this kind of perk to the mix and ppl just want to quit, like 2 of my teammates did on that trial. And I have to keep playing so I don't get a penalty, it's stupid and should not be on the game since it promotes grefing and bleeding people out is toxic. -

Learn to use the reply (Quote) button. Otherwise it's not obvious who you're talking to, and they in turn don't get mentioned, therefore can't get notified/respond.
Regardless of who's got an opinion on something, you can't just attack their character, or rather accuse them of a conflict of interest IN PLACE OF an argument. If I played only killer, and never survivor, I'd have some pretty radical views too, "Make survivors die in 2 hooks!" for example. That being a bad idea for the game has nothing to do with me playing killer; it's just a bad take. Know what I'm sayin'?
The only thing I know is you are trying to be the cool guy behind a keyboard and that ain't working. Blight profile picture, talking about SWF when majority of the player base play solo q, assuming how people were playing and trying to give lessons that nobody asked for nor were relevant to the point. Your killer main is showing and if you say knockout is not that strong and then mention SFW, you are literally saying that people without coms are very vulnerable to such perk, that proves the point. Is unhealthy and promotes a griefing.

Legion matches never have to be long. You're healing against him, over and over again, aren't you? That's not how you beat him. You beat him by staying injured so he gets no value from his power and is forced to be M1 trash. Is it harder looping on 1 health state instead of 2? Sure. But that's what you have to do if you want to win. Doesn't that sound better than a "mending simulator"? (I guess anything that takes any amount of time sink is a simulator)
Knockout shouldn't go anywhere either. SWF auto-counters this perk just by existing. Solo can beat it too, if they play smart. You see the killer has it after first down, which means you immediately know to rush gens (as usual) and pick up people when you can. If you're the one of the ground, recover and then crawl to where you think people are/where it's easy for you to be seen. I doubt that a solo team who let 1 perk (Knockout) kill their whole match is capable of beating killers using other perks anyway. The game demands coordination from survivors, because they're a team, and game sense as well when they're going against skilled opponents. You can't just expect the game to revolve itself around you, and never have any intention of getting better (most people who need to hear this won't). Because some people have gotten better, and this perk barely affects them. In fact, most things that are the most commonly complained about barely affect them, because objectively they can see and experience: "This thing the killer's using is not that strong." If something requires inexperienced/uncoordinated opponents for it to work (a noob stomp tool), then it's not strong.
You assume we were healing and that didn't happen
-
Twins main why am I not surprised, I'm sure you like to abuse knockout too 😂
-
And then I'm not allowed to ''unplug'' cause that results in a penalty, even though I'm literally being held hostage on a game I don't want to play.
-
Nah, the way things work in this game is survivors can't get any benefit from high ping (don't ask me why bcs i don't know the tech behind) but it is something that the hitboxes from survivor register properly and the attacks from killer don't or something like that.
-
Nurse is a trash killer and bhvr won't nerf her cause its one of their excuse not to say this is a pay to win game period
-
Its so fun how killer mains on this forum talk about the survivor taking a hit is asking to be tunneled. Be for real, you are tunnelers and do not even try to hide it. When we talk about tunneling is systematically going for the unhooked survivor as soon as they are free. That happens almost every match.
-
A new idea; if a killer is systematically going for the same survivor after unhook, remove bloodlust gain. Okay, you wanna go after the same surv but you ain't gonna get speed.
-
Its pointless to explain, the ''us vs them'' narrative they complained about is exactly what they is fueling and their arguments makes no sense since they want to bring a totally different conversation to avoid the main issue.
Thanks for understanding the point and explaining it ❤️

Again, proving that survivors are the majority that fit the single braincell that cries about everything. You see an example of a killer being near a hook and you jump up n down screaming "AHA! gotcha admitting to camping, you low down dirty bastard". If I had a dollar every time I hooked a survivor, turned around and walked 2 steps to see some scratch marks leading to a survivor hiding behind a rock, I could quit my job. Also, my example of DS was just that, an EXAMPLE, I am very aware that it does not work that way before but it still serves as an E X A M P L E, hopefully spacing it out can help you discover it. Now tunneling is NOT a mechanic, it is a strat, calling it a mechanic shows how little you know. Step aside and let people who know the game discuss things
POV: You don't have reading comprehension. Its blatantly obvious how you try to avoid the main issue and talk about something else, like we were discussing that. Maybe try reading the first post and then read what you posted and see if that has anything to do with what we are discussing.
-
Again, an argument that makes no sense. You talk about the us vs them but somehow now is a survivor with no thougth process, but what you said tells me that the 2 braincelled being is you.
First of all, comparing a mechanic to PREVENT TUNNELING like the endurance post unhook to actual tunneling and telling it can be abused is truly hilarious. Imagine comparing taking someone out of the game sistematically with an extra hit. I know for SURE you are a killer main trying to deviate the point and talking nonsense but it ain't gonna work. You use DS as an example but it doesn't work like that anymore, wich again contributes to the thought that when a mechanic is ABUSED like TUNNELING is, it should be changed somehow, because it is unhealthy and unfair. Be honest you thought you ate that don't you.

That's so weird though. Why is that unhooked survivor going so far out of their way to harass the killer and body block?
Oh, wait. The killer was right there at the hook already. And most likely, they already hit the survivor coming in for the save.
Clock that tea, like they are proving the point 🤣

The best of every PVP title are close games. Unfortunately it's impossible to make every, or even most games close. People are better or worse against different killers and sometimes you just play poorly. Multiply that by 5 for everyone in the match. It's gonna be inconsistent.
To the bland complaints in the thread: tunneling doesn't happen nearly as often as you pretend it does and when it does, it's necessary to win. Sorry. People hate being told they're wrong and everyone that complains about this, without exception, either have a very very broad definition of what tunneling is and are suffering from negativity bias. I'm not even sure what camping is at this point. It's inefficient play for most killers.
So tunneling at 5 gens is necessary to win how ???? You literally are disregarding the main point here. And if u camp after tunneling at 5 gens is a guaranteed win no matter what. If you fail to realize that maybe you are part of the problem and use those tactics.
And to say it doesn't happen as often… it smells like killer main here. Its not only 1 post complaning about this, there are SEVERAL. Not only that, I bet you they delete a lot of posts like this. Don't patronize people, it ain't a good look.

Whether we like it or not, tunneling and camping absolutely will stay in the game, this is just the way it is
Yeah, I know that but that is just cause devs are lazy and do not even care of fixing these things. It's better to release buggy patches, create cosmetics and keep going. Since how long have Skull Merchant been an issue?? Still not fixed.
That itslef speaks volumes.
-
If killers want easy games make bots available so they can think they are good playing without ruining the experience for the rest. Tunneling and camping SHOULD NOT be a mechanic, devs of this game do not care, do not play this game and will never fix this things because is more important to release cosmetics and make money than doing something useful. The proof is in the pudding, just see how terrible this patch has been, bugs everywhere… and they are probably going to ban me for saying this but idc.
