- I think "lights out" will never come back, or at least if it comes back it will be for a short time (maybe Halloween?), because I think it was the most hated mode by DBD players. I have serious vision problems, I tried it a few times and then I gave up... for me it was a real torture. I haven't even unlocked the pass rewards (and I'm a real skin/banner/badge collector)
-
- Twins and Trickster... I don't care if they are considered strong or weak, I just know I never have fun with them.

Try playing Nurse yourself and then come back and tell us if she still needs to be nerfed
- who says i dont use nurse in my killer games?🤣 in any tier list it is placed (rightly) in "S" tier.... so are we all crazy? there must be a reason (maybe). Using a killer (or finding one against me), does not prevent me from evaluating some wrong/broken mechanics

Exactly this tbh, Killers who've reached a higher MMR by using these strategies, will slowly adjust to an MMR where they're more able to compete without them, same for Survivors with the extreme hiding. Their MMR will all balance out.
- in short, a sort of "judgment day", there we will really understand who knows how to play and who doesn't🤣
-
- in a certain sense the same thing can be said the other way around. if I'm a killer and I have problems managing "exhaustion perks" ... I'm forced to use "mindbreaker" or "languid touch", but I'd prefer to use more fun perks or a gen slowdown perk. It's the nature of the game, move and countermove
-
- the only good use of "visionary" is in indoor maps, it can actually be useful. But you're right, deja-vu is better in every way. Rework: when a generator is completed, its aura is highlighted for you in white... near those generators (8 meters?) you have 2% haste. the effect persists for 3 seconds after you move away. sort of "batteries included" but for survivors

Even if they weren't op, both duty of care and babysitter are super unhealthy. 15% and 25% difference can only be dealt with by the stronger killers and have no counterplay from lower tier killers:
- Blight , Ghoul, Nurse, Billy don't struggle that much because they can make the distance difference lost way quicker than anyone in the cast
- Every other killer in the cast literally can't chase because they are balanced without bursts of speed taken into account
this perks just incentive playing the top tier killers reducing variety.
- sorry, so every perk (and addon) that offers "haste" to the killer should be removed for balance reasons. The amount of "haste" perks has grown exponentially over the last two years
-
- I have serious vision problems and playing against Dredge (or on excessively dark maps) is simply a pain. when my eyesight is very tired I put on Ormond or Eyrie of Crows/dead sand to simply rest my eyes. I always thought that playing against Spirit, for those with hearing problems, is something really bad.
-
- "urban evasion" is a good perk, not extraordinary, but good. Against some killers it is really strong (Huntress, Hag, even Pyramid Head). Surely there are worse perks than it. his problem is his reputation and "hidden rats" play style🤣
-
- it's just logic, if i die 5 minutes before the game ends, i have to wait for everyone to finish to say "gg" to the killer? it's normal that when a victory is the killer, there are only 2 or 3 people left to interact and possibly say "gg". it's not being rude, it's just that most people want to play.
-
- After the 357th game against Oni+Legion, I was happy to go back to "normal mode"🤣
-
- for me, gen rush does not exist, or rather it is a very controversial concept (like tunneling concept)... each side must do its job as quickly as possible. Imagine if a survivor came to this forum and complained because the entire team died with 4 generators to repair and calling this "kill rush", he would be considered crazy. With the average quality of survivors, generally smaller maps, less safe pallets, average killers "powerful enough"... in 2025 I think it makes no sense to talk about "gen rush". Obviously if you are a Pig on "The Game", with an organized team and toolboxes .... well you will have a very difficult game. But if you are a Billy or a Nurse in (for example) "Rancid Abbattoir", you can have toolboxes and brand new parts .... as a survivor you will have a very difficult game

OMG, abandon is soooo good, for me with little time to play video games, I manage to play more games where I actually PLAY instead of slugging on the floor🤣
-
wicked / DS / boil over / DH
- It's a risky but very fun build, so I don't recommend it to those who are new to the game.Of course the survivor has to play it on purpose for it to work, so loop very close to the basement. Boil over is essential to force the killer to use the basement hooks. The liberation from the hook must happen immediately, then induce the killer to tunnel the survivor, then use the DS, and finally the DH. If all goes according to plan, at least 3-4 generators have been completed🤣
-
- "Lightborn" is a perk left over from DBD's past, where there were instant-mori, instant brand new part, instant syringe, old DS etc etc... it's a perk that would never be designed in this way today, simply because it cuts out a fundamental part of the gameplay without asking for anything in return. I'm amazed that the devs have left it unchanged all these years.
-
- "super busy": after a day of work, you can't wait to finish and leave
This perk requires the following actions to be activated:
1- cleanse a totem
2- complete a generator
3- open a chest
4- save a teammate from the hook
Activated the perk, you open the exit gates 30-40-50% faster.
- "clear vision". close to the final goal, you have no doubts or uncertainties
As you open the exit gates, you see the killer's aura. After completing the opening, you continue to see the killer's aura for 12-16-20 seconds
- "I don't forget you". You remember well who was kind to you.
You heal the teammates who saved you from the hook 80-90-100% faster for the rest of the trial.
- These perks describe me well😂🤣😂
-
- for me who loves "simple clothes", this rift is a disaster. I really like Jake's skin and the recolors of Zarina and Ace. obviously I will try to complete the rift for completionism, but most of them are skins that I will never use
-
- even though DBD is our favorite videogame, we must not forget that BHVR is a company, not a charity, so it is normal that they push users to play as much as possible. all videogames do this (the most important example is Fortnite), I don't understand why BHVR shouldn't do the same. It is obvious that our experience as consumers is important, but we must also understand the needs of a company that is trying to make a profit
-
- maybe I'll be the only survivor on planet earth and EVERY TIME I use a map offer, the killer arrives promptly and puts "sacrificial ward"🤣but why isn't it used more often? it's a very common offering in the blood web
-
- in theory DBD is a game about a killer killing survivors, not about defending generators. if in 10 minutes no hooks happen and no generators are completed, it should be a loss for the killer (my opinion). in 10 minutes 80% of pallets are gone so the killer has no excuses for not getting hooks (aka kill)
-
- For me this mode is fun. It reminds me of how many horrible perks exist in this game🤣 But guys, I still have to understand how you can compare a survivor's syringe to the killer's hard tunneling (with consequent exclusion of a survivor and therefore a very difficult game)... it's not exactly the same thing
-
my top five
1° Nurse
2° Blight
3° Billy
4° Singularity
5° Kaneki
-
- yes, singularity is one of the strongest killers in the game, even before it was hyper buffed. Zubatlel (before the buff) had some amazing games with old Singu. before it was complex to use but strong, now it is """easy""" to use and very strong
-
- I agree with everything, but Singularity (for me) is tier A+ or low S
-
- I recommend you use "windows of opportunity". with all killers it's a good perk, but with him it's essential because only windows and pallets can stop him. you don't have time to "look around" (he closes every distance), this perk helps you find new resources quickly. I've never used perk, but I found out that it works very well against kaneki
-
- I expected something more for the new perks, they are not bad but definitely mediocre (as always). I will buy the new survivor because I always buy all the new DLC, certainly not for its perks🤣.surely the new survivor will not have the same success that Mikaela had with her Boon
-
- Flashlights are a useless/harmful item if you're not really good at using them... better to focus on generators. Just be a decent killer, and flashlights are never a problem. the amount of games I've seen losers due to flashlights is HUGE... maybe survivors are finally realizing that it's better to bring a med kit or a toolbox

The worst achievement I had to go through to get was tome 1 land 4 PALLET stuns on the killer in a single match. Took me days to get this eventually got it after changing my user name to "Tome1 4Pallet stuns" against a Myers that just farmed.
The other was Left for Dead(?) managed to get it legitimately against a Spirit on The Game map. With everyone else dead Repair the final gen and escape vai gate. Wasn't until months later I learned it doesn't need to be the 5th and final gen could've been any one gen and wait for killer to close hatch then could open the gate.
- exactly the same bad experience for me... i finally did the challenge with a farming killer🤣
-
- It's a trend that has been going on for at least a couple of years. same amount of pallets, or even slightly increased, but less safe. obviously there are exceptions (The Game... almost all pallets are God level), but also exceptions on the killer side, like Rancid Abattoir or Haddonfield
-
- for me it depends on the day (and the time slot... in the morning my escape rate is very high). there are days where I escape very often, other days where escaping seems really impossible
-
- Devs are neglecting Solo Q a bit too much. They think it's just about entertaining Killer and SWF... they don't understand that it's an extremely dangerous company policy. Solo Q players are a big part of the community
-
- I prefer "old" generators. Trying excellent skill checks is fun for me.
-
nerf: Blight , Singularity, Victor (omg this child)… nurse is an other planet, no in dbd 🤣
buff: trapper & sadako
-
- I just want to know if it's normal for the killer to be able to hit you from behind walls/rocks. Is it a bug or a character ability?
-
- instead of introducing bots, why not try making survivar gameplay more fun? I don't understand🤔
-
- I would like to see less Blight and Huntress.
- I would like to see more Pyramid and Vecna
-
- this perk with current maps (except some) is practically useless. if you are a player who predrops all pallets on the map, poor your teammates🤣
-
thanks <3
-
- yes, since they heavily reworked some maps, I can't play without DH. Many current maps are designed for you to go down, regardless of your skill. I don't want to make a video "I do chases for 5 gens" ... I just want to do decent chases with a minimum of skill on my part. I can't understand how there is in DBD "the Game" and "Haddonfield" …
-
- It is clear that this perk has not been tested in any way, not even by the internal DBD team. You don't have to be Otzarva or part of Team Eternal to understand that TOTH is problematic right now. I don't think it's ever happened before that a perk gets nerfed so quickly (as they said they will)
-
- consider that many online games do not offer this possibility. It's very normal for Devs to AT LEAST ask you to play a lot to unlock a skin. (my opinion)
-
- here you are proposing to """punish""" the player who gets P100? I'm talking about both roles, killer and survivor. Already the "p100" system is relatively long and boring, if I then have to be "punished" for having a high prestige, I think no one would prestige their favorite character. right now the only "reward" for having a P100 character is having easier access to rare objects/addons
-
- in this situation the funniest thing is to read the comments of people who claim that "toth" is completely fair and balanced. If you have more than 100 hours on DBD, you'll quickly notice that something about this buff isn't working. this perk will definitely be changed, but not because survivors ask for it, but because it is a clear mistake of balance. if you're on a small map, with a Doc or Legion, or a Blight that wants to defend the totem… you simply can't break the totem, you don't have time, even with Counterforce... I don't think you have to be team Eternal to understand this problem. It's true, you could play an entire game with Ruin, but Devour """forces""" you to break the totem.

I'm running it with Calm Spirit and Eyes of Belmont. You can't stop me (and honestly it was really effective).
- do you realize that to get any value from one perk you have to use 2 more? this perk is frankly embarrassing... for me it's the worst "new perk" along with Deadline.
-
- we are forgetting "Clean Break"... why use this perk when "solidarity" already exists and does its job 100 times better (and faster)??? I'm shocked that Devs completely forgot about "solidarity" when they invented "clean break"🤣
-
- However, it's not just this chapter that had little hype, even licensed chapters like Lara Croft or Alan Wake had very little hype. Yes, Lara is very loved by players, but Devs certainly didn't pay much "attention" to her. I'll give you another example, when there was the Mikaela chapter, there was a lot of publicity (in addition to the introduction to the new Boon game mechanics)…maybe they should reduce the DLC release a bit
-
- in general 2VS8 for survivors is not a fun mode. The gameplay is absolutely impoverished compared to 4VS1... the whole game is M1 on gens or M1 to heal teammates. Chases are """normal""" when 1 killer chases you (normal but with very strong pallets), when 2 killers chase you lasting 5 seconds is an absolute record. I assure you that if survivor gameplay were very fun or "innovative", there would be no lack of players and no need for BP incentives. From the killer's point of view, playing in a team with another person totally changes the gameplay of classic DBD... that's why everyone wants to play killer
-
- when you propose to """pay""" players with skins to play a specific game mode, it means that this mode has serious problems. you have to make the survivor game fun and innovative (like killers in 2VS8) and everyone will want to play survivor. seriously, there is no reason to play 2vs8 in survivor role... if you chase 1v1 it's "normal DBD", if 2 killers chase you you're dead in 5 seconds and the rest of the game is M1 on gens or M1 for healing team mates, wow! exciting
-
- Haddonfield is a "difficult" map for survivors, but never like the Dungeons & Dragons map. Killers realized that they should NEVER go down into the dungeon and ALWAYS stay on the upper floor, therefore automatically winning the game. For me D&D map is the worst map in the game (my opinion)
