  • Ghostface has really bad Chase point gain too. I do not think Killers should struggle with any emblems, Survivors don't.

Up BP gains for Survivor and normalize emblem gains for Killers. This cannot be that hard.

Honestly this really isn't something you should be worrying about, winning or losing doesn't define the match - not in DbD. The more you win, you will increase your MMR and get tougher and tougher opposition. I think this is why we see a lot from killer players saying they have to camp when their MMR increases, it's because they're out of their play area, and then feel more pressured to camp to get those kills. Rather than letting themselves gain MMR and experience slower.

Finally, Dev confirmation that winning in DBD doesn't matter as much as ANYONE thinks that it should and that MMR is not a prize to be gained or won. It confirms a lot of what I have been thinking for a while. Thank you Mandy.

Now please deincentivize sweating to win by fixing the emblems/pips, and please encourage playing with more varied perks and playstyles. Maybe one of these modes could even become a casual queue where if you really want to pip it's easy, but if you want the challenge the base game is there?

I hate to be the one to say it but that's survivors for you. Not saying all survivors are like it but a huge proportion of survivors are toxic from my experience. Not sure if it's due to boredom or they know they can't win or something but I'm constantly coming across people that openly and admit to joining the match to make the game unbearable for the killer or even own team mates because they find it fun. Each to their own I suppose on what people find fun... Personally I find it fun to beat the toxic players at their own game and out toxify them then watch them rant post game lol. Had 2 swf being toxic together recently, I remembered them from before so I went straight for them and they quit.

This is unfortunately my experience. A lot of SoloQers I get are 100% accurate to what BHVR has said in their streams about SoloQers - selfish. Entitled, bad, and selfish at that. I am very sick of people doing this to me and friends I am SWFing with, I would genuinely rather have a toxic Killer than a toxic teammate.

I never trust SoloQers anymore. I only go in with a 3-4 stack of friends if possible. I genuinely think it's an entitled mindset that says "well we can't have 2v8 back, so I'm going to make the game suck for everyone else until we get it back." Just people throwing tantrums.

  • I think they just need to pull the game from Epic entirely. They can't quash the cheater problem as long as Epic is able to free-gamepass the game.

I'm sorry Epic Gamers but maybe they can give you a free version on Steam to compensate?

  • Maps should not be so huge a Killer can't patrol gens. However they should also not have these tight 3gens, there has to be some way to fix these spawns.

  • I don't like doing Killer adepts for this reason. BHVR please make it so we have some sort of less sweaty, unranked queue for this? Maybe it would help some Survivors too? IDK how you would do that but couldn't we do soemthing to make it less annoying for people to try for these without getting these sweat squads? Do we really need to have new Killers never played before be the same MMR as your best ones?

sort of but I can't discredit tunneling because we managed to do all gens while survivor held his chases down and we were able to save him in the end.

I wouldn't call tunneling only tunneling if the kill is secured - I think that's being tunneled out but the killer just intentionally bolting to hook and starting chase with the unhooked is tunneling imo

there are games where we manage to run interference and buy the tunneled survivor time to lose LOS, killer just restarts his strategy on the next guy

I agree that's basically all that tunnelling is. I don't think THAT happens very often at all. In fact I would say that's maybe the only defintion of tunnelling? Anything else is just good solid gameplay or tactics.

I would put an asterisk there. It depends on the killer.

Four slowdowns on, say, Myers is one thing. For most others in the D/C/low B tier it might be excessive, but largely a non-issue.

Now four slowdowns on Blight/Nurse/Spirit/etc. would be an absolute joke, and while it's obviously allowed, I would look all the way down my nose at such a player.

This is basically my feelings on it. If I'm running Ghostface or Myers, I throw on like two gen perks. If I'm running Dredge or Spirit, it's one usually. If it's someone who handles hexes well like Pinhead, it's probably a hex build instead.

Not every Killer does well with the same gen control perks either. For example I get really little value out of Corrupt Intervention on Ghostface because my experience is people always just run into him trying to escape the block gens and reveal me. But on Trapper, it's almost necessary to run Corrupt.

  • I get a true tunnelling maybe once in every handful of games. It's really, really uncommon to be actually truly tunnelled out. A lot of people tend to mistake stuff for tunnelling.

  • This is very clearly an exploitable glitchy scenario, no matter how long it's been in the game, and it should not be like this. It makes no sense, logically or gameplay-wise, to be able to clip through a Killer in any animation.

Remove the lack of collision on Killer stun and Killer pickup. There's no reason to have this. You shouldn't be able to Dumbtech or drop Flashbangs inside of the Killer.

  • We shouldn't be giving ANY, I mean any, sort of incentive or reward for DCing, be that a lack of a penalty or a reduced penalty.

Increase it for both sides. Period.

One of the points they want to talk about in the castlevania stream is the return of light's out. I also don't understand why they'd bring back that mode when it was pretty unpopular

They are probably updating it to try again BECAUSE the mode wasn't popular, maybe they feel it needed some reworking. The idea is solid. The original version just wasn't there.

  • No please, I would rather be able to play the Killers I bought the game for and bought the DLC for.

  • IDK I feel like the best thing we could do is just… remove self-unhooking? And maybe make throwing the game reportable as a warning? Doesn't this community always say that "carrots don't work you need sticks"? They do on reddit…
