I have the same issue. My friend and I are from the same TOWN, so you can see how close we are. But these last few days we could not play swf. Whatever is happening is not in sync. Privately we'd see eachother in lobby. We'd click ready and suddenly Im loaded in a lobby without her in it. And she'd get the same. We'd leave the lobby we have to try and sort the issue, but we cant get in a game together.
In my friend list, she'd be listed as "Online" and not "In Game" despite her being in the game.

I had teammates who would get killed at 5 gens, because they would divebomb a hook to unhook someone while the killer is still there and the killer bodying them all while Im across the map trying to do a gen (I see the shenanigans go down due to Kindred). Sometimes I have no choice but to try for a hatch.
Honestly, it doesnt matter what the game thinks is a win or not. You can consider the hatch a personal win. The killer didnt kill you and you got away despite all odds.

Well among listed I'd say Artist and Wesker seem good. We all know Nurse is the true mvp, but she isnt listed here.
Among perks, I'd say anything that has to do with slowdown. Corrupt Intervention for example blocks gens furthest away from you. Artist can snipe other gens with her crows so you can get fast info where these guys are. She can destroy loops because she can set her crows to hit someone if they go somewhere, effectivelly pushing the survivor away from a loop or jungle gym.
Granted this is all me saying what I saw from smarter people like Otz. My personal experience is Legion and Ghostface among those. But they're not good for genrushers. They arent as oppressive as Artist and Wesker are. Meanwhile poor Onryo is considered weak and she cant pressure such genrushers and god loopers well. You can look at that again on Otz video where he had the number 1 Onryo against some strong survivors.

Thank you and wow that is terrible. Because even with yellow ping I was unable to do like wiggle skil checks or anything. I wish they kept the old method for your ping, but just added the new in game connection thing for others.

I agree with Jarky, if you use money, its best to buy the licenced killers as they can only be only money bought. And these listed examples have great perks.
Among the non licenced cast here. I would tell the Trickster, to grind iri shards for him. Personally I find him compelling and really fun to play, even though I know everyone disagrees. But what he brought to the game cannot be ignored. His personal perks Starstruck and No Way Out are a must have.
Starstruck can save you from survivors who wish to bodyblock you from hooking a survivor. It can scare them away. But it also punishes any bold survivor who is hiding nearby and wishes for a sneaky unhook as they are exposed and easy to one shot.
No Way Out is an endgame perk and a decent meta perk that blocks the exit gate switches when they are touched. It can buy you time to down any survivors and hook them. Or in case of a closed hatch and final survivor, it can reveal to you their location on which gate they were as well as sealing them in as the end game timer goes.

The iri photocard makes the survivor exposed when they're 1 blade away from injury. So visually thats when the pinkish hud around survivor portrait turns red.

You are just like me, I also use only these 2 killers, I love them 😂 but I actually don't use this perk starstruck because I can't understand for what is it. My English is not so good. Instead I always use perk light born I hate survivors to try blind me 😂
Starstruck allows you to one-shot healthy survivors if you're carrying a survivor or if you recently carried one. But only if they are in your terror radius. But yeah, I think its cool we like the same killers. My 3rd place is Ghostface, cuz its Ghostface. So he'd be my number 1 licenced

I am a Trickster main, why I prefer him? Its a mix of reasons. His aesthetic and appearance. His lore. And his gameplay is easy and satisfying and fun. I dont care that he's not meta or is weak. I find that every killer can be S tier in the right hands. And I find it boring everyone plays the same killers. Today I faced 3 Nurses in a row. With 2 Blights and 1 Ghostface. No killer diversity. So I love Trickster even more as he's not used much and offers diversity to survivors who always face the same thing. Granted, I know people dont like facing him, I personally love playing as and against him. Sadly encountering him is so rare. And besides, people keep hatin on him, but they forget that he gave the best lobby look and great perks such as Starstruck and No Way Out.
My 2nd place sweetheart among killers is the Legion. Similar reason to Trickster. I love their edgelord 90's hooligan theme and aesthetic. Their music is a bop and I love to use their mixtapes just to jam out. Frank has great lore (Not so much Julie and her tome). Their power is fun and satisfying to use. Never Stop Slashing~ I find the Legion are the underdog, the butt of a joke so I have had a soft spot for them. The rework did them justice they deserve.
And besides, one thing I love about Legion is what they say is so true. People may love the new shiny thing that is Wesker, but "Smartasses get killed. We always see to that." — The Legion, Discordance
