feature that was in the game for a year since release is apparently a bug. nothing new, haven't you read previous patch notes, I'm glad people stopped them with their look down bug that was in the game for 7 years
-
top 1 perk got nerf what's the surprise idk.
-
executioner can brutally murder someone with one hit
not even a contest
-
current amount of pallets is just not balanced with windows perk in mind. when it gets nerfed in next patches it will be fine
garden of joy and game do have a lot of pallets especially game. thats why I always 3 gen garden of joy, the only way to turn that horrible map into something winnable
-
the reason why I started playing DBD this year is partly because it has no bullshit like emotes, dances etc. I always hated them in dota 2
-
The only killers who are having problems here are creating them for themselves because they play bad, play weak killer, avoid killing, avoid locking 3 gen, avoid bleeding etc.
-
For me there is no difference in playing 3 gen as skull merchant or any other killer gameplay wise, except she is more efficient at it.
In current meta it's like my every other game is 3 gen cause you can't win by playing bad, especially in decently high MMR.
-
They were most useful when I started playing, I needed bloodpoints then, now I don't.
If they gave like 600 exp, then yeah, I would do them. But last few months every games is 100k+ bp by default, I'm tired of spending all these bloodpoints, don't need more)

Exactly, played a game after that one and everything felt fine
I had a game as nemesis 2 weeks ago on Backwater Swamp where I just couldn't catch anyone)) I remember I had maybe 1 hook no more, even though I had corruption + deadlock and a ton of time. I just couldn't get into melee range at all once they were injured, even in places with no pallets which is just dead giveaway. I had no luck with support since they prefer to only ban flying idiots.
There was also one knight game on red forest when last guy I chased was so unreachable I managed to get into freaking bloodlust 3 cause there was no pallets anymore, and I almost caught him but he still escaped through hatch last second and typed bm in chat. Now that I think of it I should have reported him, damn, I was tired or something, probably too frustrated to think clearly. Guards were useless too. It's like he had hope+mft going, but gens weren't done, it was a hatch game.
For these two games I'm 98% sure, most games of course you can only suspect it, very small speed boosts are pretty safe for them, they can play years and never get banned for 1-2% since support only bans flying teleporting ones.
-
lightborn needs a buff
-
there is that feeling when something seems off, if you played game long enough you know what I mean
-
I noticed lately these survivors want every mobile killer nerfed. blight, wraith, wesker etc. can it be because they don't get free game with mft?)
-
It's simple really, if you want to make a killer with weird power like camera switching simulator, you DO NOT force him to waste time on setup for that already clunky power and you DEFINITELY DO NOT add ability to push 1 button and nullify all that effort.
-
So you can win every game with MFT cause nothing can bypass injured state, about right?
-
Killer has a good perk, unacceptable!! - all i c
-
So 19/20 survivors play with MFT and hate that it's useless against blight, and then they post this. I see (:

Its still possible to defend the gen eithout straight up face camping lol
it's possible, but it's just very weird that game itself forces you to facecamp by placing hooks and gens in one step of each other.
at the very least minimal spawn distance should be 6m, but 10m is ideal. If they introducing a new system why not do it properly.
-
Killer missing with his power (alien, nemesis etc) = get punished with long animation
Survivor failing in looping and taking a hit = get free boost and eternal 3% haste while injured.
seems balanced
let's be real, the only reason mft+res is not completely game breaking is because bloodlust exists, even though bloodlust is in the game for a completely different reason. I'm glad people caused such an uproar because of this imbalanced nonsense.
-
It's not about opinions, anything more than 2k as Killer is a Win cause it's +MMR.
As survivors it's escaping through Exit Gates.
Hatch escape counts as a draw.

The devs don't want exhaustion perks to be easily counterable. That's why they removed Clown's exhaustion bottles and changed the time on Huntress' exhaustion hatchets to five seconds. When there are game mechanics that survivors find fun, the devs don't want killers to be able to easily counter it. That's why when Circle of Healing was overpowered, there was barely anything killers could do about it. They even changed Thrill of the Hunt so that survivors could boon uninterrupted.
Okay how is it fair that already strongest perks effect-wise do not have any good counters on top of that, from my point of view it's just imbalanced. I don't care if people are used to it, it's a fact.

@WilliamSN said:
Imo, a simple fix would be to make the exhaustion effect be something more than a survivor perk timer.
For example: for every 1s of exhaustion = 0.1% hindered / 10s = 1% / 20= 2% , etc.
Exhaustion perks still provide the chase extension its designed to, at the cost of being a tiny bit slower after that.
Would also prevent fearmonger and blood echo from being wasted perk slots incase nobody is running exhaustion perks.
If survivors claim a 3% haste isn't "big of a deal" surely a 3% hindered that decreases when you start recovering exhaustion isn't either.
I thought about this hindered too, probably a bit tough to balance but can be done.
I'm okay with exhaustion perks being "wasted" if no one is running exhaustion perks, but only if they're effective at their job, currently they're not really a big deal, more of a small inconvenience like survivor can't do gens and recover, so they instead go heal and recover exhaustion.

Facts.
With how you can guarantee there will always be an Exhaustion perk on every survivor you’d “think” the exhaustion perks killers have would be meta. But they’re not and almost never ran.
Why aren’t killer exhaustion perks ran when it’s the best meta to run them?
Because nearly all of them are completely terrible and way undertuned.
Why are Exhaustion perks tuned so high to always be meta yet anti exhaustion perks are so undertuned that they’re never seen?
They need heavy buffs across the board to the plethora of them.
the only thing we have right now is fearmonger and it's a effective if you gank gens constantly, but mostly on killers who have small terror radius or no terror radius, when they hear and see you from 32m they can always recover exhaustion before you start chasing them. Other than fearmonger, everything else is either terrible, very unreliable or requires 2 perk slots to counter 1 perk slot, even then it's not 100% counter and that is just ridiculous, you would think sacrificing 2 slots should pay off.
Even Fearmonger can use a buff to start being effective on most killers, rather than just stealth ones and knight.
-
He is pretty decent if you use harpoon to fast kill survivors from hooks. They can't really do anything about it if you time it right, wait for endurance to pass and then hook them again, rinse and repeat until dead. You can attack air to avoid stun in worst case. The amount of hate I get from doing it is just so funny.

@Caiman said:
Buff Septic Touch so it actually has a use.
all the anti-exhaustion perks are in a poor state right now except maybe fearmonger, no wonder perk like MFT is such a pain.
I think this is a perfect time to start buffing them finally.
-
they did good with skull merchant drones they are a real pain.
-
that would be pyramidhead, simply because he has build flexibility and you can do a lot of things, adapt to every situation and easily counter flashlight squads, hook sabotage squads, anti-slugging builds, unhook builds, he can deny all of that.
also passive iridescent mori that doesn't waste time, great great great.
-
Pinhead is one of the stronger killers, cause you can snowball very hard, a few mistakes from survivors and game can end just like that. if you find box quickly and run proper addons his fastkill potential is great, so he is high in my list of killers.
-
Well Larian quality was always exceptionally high as far as I remember, especially divinity 2 original sin, played it both solo and coop many times, top game, literally 10/10 on iron man. Their development model is just very effective, partly because they listen to players and develop game for years and years from all the feedback until it's done right. it's simple really, but very rare for some reason. They don't run the avg product conveyor, they work hard to create true greatness.
same as with witcher 3, don't expect that this type of quality will be new default, baldurs gates 3 is a very rare gem. You can't just one day decide and create something like this, Larian spend a decade building up to bg3 brick by brick.
Regarding behavior, they did a good job actually, just compare them to some other studios that make mp games and you'll see, everything is made clear when you compare it
-
yes when I play last games of the day as skull merchant I love getting into garden of joy because survivors are always happy when they see it until the moment they realize I locked 3 gen and will not go to main building or any pallets that are not near that 3 gen
then they die on hook/ragequit if they did not bring proper perks and toolboxes
(:
-
anything that is strong like wesker, blight, nurse or skull merchant is unfun/boring/bad game design right
absolutely not biased survivors (:
running 5 times around every stone and breaking 20 pallets again and again every game is so fan right (no)
it's not supposed to be fun for you all the time you know, sometimes it's killers time to have chill 3 gen defence that by the way was in the game for years and year, long before skull merchant
sm, blight and nurse are the only killers I can play to soothe the pain caused by bs like mft/hope/buckle up/ftp, so they have to go right
-
yeah, they'll also nerf blight, wesker in next patch, they don't care that it's their own fault that anything but mobility = auto lose against 4x mft
-
red addons supposed to be impactful and strong, stop crying about it, game already has so much trash tier red addons it's ridiculous
lately I noticed survivors are especially unhappy with anything that bypasses injured state or has too much mobility(blight), wonder why? maybe because it's the only things that keep game playable for killer when he constantly runs into 4x mft
-
the only problematic haste effect in the game is mft. crippling whole haste system because of it? are you kidding? just reduce bonus to 2% and attach 30 seconds time limit
end of story
-
idk what's there to like about, you have 0 control over the game. very passive killer fully reliant on survivors being blind and impatient with windows, other than that you're just a machete man. basement trapper can be good though.
-
but it's very easy to keep track of hooks, endurance after unhooks and other stuff. i played onryo before update and didn't have any trouble keeping track of condemned and visualizing condemn aoe. i still remember all ability names, damage, cooldowns and mana costs for most dota 2 heroes even though i dropped the game years ago. we don't really need a lot of indicators etc. our brain has so much potential, you only need to apply it.
so it's not an issue at all. with most killers you don't really need to keep track of anything except map awareness and player who you're trying to kill.
-
Does it matter what I think necessarily?
Just by looking at pickrate it is guaranteed that it's gonna get nerfed in next patch, or patch after that. Along with Resilience and Made for This.
-
It's not like hope insane 4.4ms stacking, not even close. And when it does proc, often you can hit a second time right away and it does nothing, you just have to be ready for it every time. Also it procs at the same time as NOED, so it doesn't really do anything when you're lunging already and guy gets a heal in that moment, if you don't have noed then yeah it's op, but playing without noed in current meta of mft, hope, adrenaline is stupid, the same as going afk.
-
Post game chat is the purest form of sodium chloride.
-
tunneling = mechanic? ahahah
tunneling is a made up word for a strategy that everyone uses irl, animals, people, everyone, the smartest and the most optimal strategy to focus on 1 thing at the time, be it your prey, job, lifegoal or anything else.
as someone said doing 1 generator is the same thing, why you don't spread repair progress between them all? in your own twisted definition of fairness it's unfair. But here we come to the obvious, you're just biased survivor player and every killer who actually plays good is toxic and unfair.
Devs already reward killers for spreading hooks, perks like pain resonance and no way out are the only reasons I spread hooks, mostly pain resonance in this meta of mft+hope NWO is often useless. While pain resonance is 25% I'm ok with spreading some hooks, if it ever gets nerfed there will be 0 reward for spreading hooks, so enjoy while it lasts.
-
It's realistic.

So many buzzwords to explain your skill issue.
Haddonfield is really not that bad anymore. The houses are strong, yes, but the rest of the map is pretty much garbage.
Survivors jumping 5 meters with each fast vault is my skill issue, ok dude teach me how to play, teach me please.
go play some trapper, set some traps under windows and see how your first game in this patch goes.
are all people here don't play the game? why I even bother.

It has existed since launch just now people realize it, its kinda funny.
yeah if you read his ability description, there is nothing about being outside of a locker even, it's just another case of misinformation running wild for so long that people think it's truth and this is a bug.
it's like when I search for something I always get reddit posts in first results and people there are so often wrong but still get upvoted to the top it's ridiculous, they just write something that makes sense and everyone upvotes it because it makes sense and seems likely but no one actually boots up game and checks. Same thing with steam discussions and forums like this one too. The only source you can trust is game itself, run a lobby and check.
if someone needs a 10000% proof it's in a video on youtube somewhere I'm sure, it's also possible to download old dbd client from steam(through download_depot command) and boot up a lobby to test it, I've done it with dota 2 a few times, steam keeps all versions of the game for many years. I've watched 2016 dota 2 replays(TI6) in 2020.

So I'm a doctor player at heart but I've been getting blitzed by MFT swf teams. How do you beat this app? I watched Herman (the best doctor player) get destroyed left and right also. It seems like I'm useless at a loop using an m1 killer
it's an imbalanced perk, just drop doc until they nerf it in a few months or so, after they squeeze every little penny for dlc.
It's not entirely true that doctor suffers most from it, knight suffers more since his guards are balanced around 4m/s survivors and anything higher and they're very bad.
In current patch I never even try shack w/o bamboozle because it's just gg if guy has res+mft, most of them do. Except as killers like trickster who can reliably down people in shack in less than a minute, mft or not.
-
it's very bugged because maps have a lot of weird collision boxes, play blight or wesker you'll get what I mean.
also ghostface who is crouching or leaning is very hard to reveal, I played some matches with addon that gives 10% faster crouching and people really had a hard time revealing me, sometimes even in open space.

Made for this is the new dead hard of dbd people have been complaining about it a lot and I’m sick of it so BHVR here’s a nerf to make the perk weaker but still strong
Made for this
Made for this activates for 20/25/30 seconds when in the injured state.
- You run 3% faster
When the time runs out you gain the exhaustion status effect for 40 seconds. Made for this cannot be used while exhausted.
I removed the endurance part cause we already have buckle up and so many endurance perks so I just cleaned it up. I made it so now the haste only lasts 30 seconds so it can’t be used permanently.
Still kind of unpleasant, but much better than it's current imbalanced state. Hope devs are taking notes, nice idea man.

HUNK is a legendary skin, all legendary skins and ultra rare skins have all their cosmetic pieces linked together and cannot be bought or used seperately.
Thanks for answer, I was confused about it since I haven't bought any legendary sets yet.
It's a shame, well hopefully devs will reconsider it, I'm not going to pay them until they do. First time I see this kind of limitation in mp game and it's really weird.
-
32m active FULL game with no requirements.
Should either have old cooldown or be reduced to around 20m.
Popularity argument so many people throw here is just laughable to be honest xD It's gonna get nerfed, jolt and other perks too will get nerfed.
All killers learn how to chase, survivors are not exception and have to learn how to loop without 32m legal wallhack.
Windows of opportunity nerf will only make game better, survivors will actually have to scout the map and remember where to take chase and if killer broke dozens of pallets he wasted enough time already and deserve some easier chases.
-
The only thing these perks achieve is a bit more lying down in dirt than usual.
also breakout is 5m now, please bring it survivors, please I want free hits on you.
-
Yes also add armor item to survivors that negates hits. Killer must have 0 chance to win!
-
Notice how one guy with MFT escaped and others didn't.
