If BP bonus always being 100% survivor side and still Queue times being 2seconds for survivors won't make BHVR change things, I don't think anything will.
Yesterday I stopped playing after 3 games:
First game tunneled by blight.
Second game one guy killed himself on a first hook. Like literally first hook, we were playing againts mikey and already had two gens done...
Third game guy gets hooked in a basement at 5 gens and camped
Like who will want to play this? It's unti gameplay basically. Killers just standing around(and winning most games by just standing around) and survivors holding one button. Absolutely no gameplay happening like 70% of games I play. You either on a hook being camped or hold a button to do gens. Chases? Gone. The only killers who dares do any chases are nurses and blights . Even spirits now just phase back to the hook immediately after an unhook. And it's all because of terrible map design by bhvr, where only bullet killers can leave hook area and expect a quick downs. Everyone else just kinda hover around the area and go back immediately to the hook after an unhook.
Oh I guess huntress like their snipes too much, so I see them rarely camp.
-
The only issue is that many times I wasn't unhooked because main objective points went for doing gens.
Also felt bad when you get chased for 5 gens, win the game for a team and get nothing in BP department and everyone else walks out with massive BP bonus while leaving you on a hook to die.
I hope next event gives bonuses for unhooking people. What would be lovely.

I managed to have 3 of them downed during endgame, two of these were thanks to Mad Grit actually. Sadly "No Mither" pretty much invalidates all of that and hooks are a bit too far away from each other to keep these downed survivors in check.
Killers complaining about no mither. Now I seen it all.
-
At endgame, when killer facecamps just let yourself be downed near the hook and pick yourself up.
And hope you picked at least one person up in a game.

Skill checks can only appear once every 3 seconds at most. So wait until you get a skill check, then let go before the next one.
Yeah, sometimes you need to go for unhook and you can sit on a gen for 20 sec not getting a single skill check

I figure it's a feature and not a bug. As Otz pointed out in a YouTube video, some players eventually reach a point where they stop failing skill checks and it seems the devs put this in the game so that skill checks will still fail on ocassion (at no fault to the player, aside from waiting for a skill check and succedding it first, and THEN letting go)
That would be a terrible design choice.
Players are too good, let's make fail the skillchecks on purpose...
-
It's really easy.
Survive with friends>>Nurse/blight>>every other killer>>SoloQ>>>>>>>Trapper.

Or... don't chase the survivor that just used Deliverance. They're 100% going to have OTR and probably DS. You know their entire build once you see Deliverance and their exhaustion perk. Play around it.
Don't tunnel as killer? Is this a new gameplay concept you just came up with just now?
-
I like how people freaking out about Sadako and not asking how the hell dredge is so high?
I thought he would be a high tier killer but after trying to master him.... He is quite weak. I doubt high mmr players have any trouble countering him. Of course high mmr survivor in dbd have almost no meaning these days. In those 5% could be a baby claudettes who sit on gen whole game while someone making a youtube video gets chased for 5 gens.
-
The only nurses which are awful to play againts are the ones who apparently have permanent aura reading on all survivors and run starstruck build. Tho at least games againts them usually last 2min(or 0min because I usually DC againts this build and go play different game) and not 30min like legion games and in the end legion still ends up with 0 kills.
Decent nurse is quite fun to play againts. My favorite games have been againts decent nurses where you barely clutch an escape. Or die and someone else escapes. Don't really care anyway if game itself was fun and intense.
And of course baby nurses are by far the weakest killer in a game.
Don't know how bhvr can balance these 3 different killers basically. You can't really balance a game around people who have no life and play only nurse 10h a day. Even tho I hate to my bone these nurse players.
-
If starstruck nurse brings midwitch offering. It's me done for the day playing dbd.
If it's god like nurse I just kill myself on first hook. Not really worth playing games you can't win.

Remember when people said For the People is OP because it's like old insta heal?
Remember when people said Built to Last is OP because survivors can recharge item several times and combined with toolbox = busted?
Those 2 and even Hyperfocus are rarely seen and they aren't even powerful as old Dead Hard, Desicive Strike or Circle of Healing.
Yes, Hyperfocus can be very powerful paired with Stake out and toolbox but using 2 perks and item slot for repair speed shouldn't be significantly weak.
If you really think some of generator repair boost perks are problematic, just frankly say "Nerf Resilience, Prove Thyself, Stake out, Overzealous, Built to Last, Fast Track, Hyperfocus because they affect generator speeds.".
When killers can stack slowdown perks, I have no idea how people have been saying Prove Thyself and Hyperfocus should be nerfed.
As a build to last enjoyer - it can be pretty busted. Bringing commodious with both charge add ons can be devastating to killer. Especially with 3 gen where killer thinks he have time to chase one survivor a bit but when you jump on 0% gen and it's done super fast. Especially if two survivors jump on it with prove which I also always run with build to last build.
-
People giving you a lot of crap and all but honestly it's the same for me.
Lost few games with trapper and wraith, can't remember last time I lost the game while playing plague.
Yeah, crazy survivor groups exist that will gen rush you in 4min and leave but I rarely see them. Solo Q survivors crumble quite easily under a bit of pressure.
-
I can give you my experience:
After just 6.1 dropped solo Q was HELL. Literally the least fun I had with dbd. Stopped playing till Wesker dropped.
Now I'm actually having quite a bit of fun. Killers stopped with hard-core tunneling every game, even took of off the record because it almost never gets used and I can actually try some funny builds instead of fully running unti tunnel/camping builds. Solo Q is still mostly played by braindead people tho.... So where is a bit if frustration where.

Whenever I read a complaint about boring killers, I instantly have to think about how interesting running in circles around a rock feels.
Well, you either run around the rock three times and drop pallet or hold W. Both are brain dead strategies but somehow 80% of player base can't even do that. So 🤷♂️
-
I can tell my experience as around 1000h player:
As killer: it is still pretty easy games. Legendary 4man swf god groups exist, but they are super rare. Mostly you get average survivors and get at least 3k in 80% of your matches.
As survivor: after patch 6.1 it's pretty bad because survivors just give up a lot of times. I see a lot of first hook sucides even if game is basically already won, like we at 2 gens and it's a third hook for killer. No idea why people do this so often? Aside from this frustration, games are still pretty rough. I'd say 60% of matches is blights and nurses, two of the most powerful killers in a game and usually it's a complete massacre. Some killers are so bored they 2 hook everyone before killing and we still at like 3 gens by that point of game. You feel completely hopeless and just turn off the game after few of these matches and go do something else. We beat so many coop games with my friend after patch 6.1 dropped because we don't want to play dbd anymore. It takes two is next, heard it's good!
-
DCs doesn't happen in one game. I sometimes DC when it's 5th ######### game in a row againts same broken nurse with same add ons and I'm done for the day and go do something else. Time is limited, wasting few extra minutes to get 6000bp is not worth it.
-
Because friends still play it, but they do it less and less, so do I.
We searching for other games already because survivor experience after 6.1 went to crap and bhvr can go to hell for selling solutions to problems that should be fixed by them without needing perks or spending money to "enjoy" the game.
-
As survivor, as of yesterday my build is full until tunnel build because it is getting ridiculous.
As killer, solo q have absolutely no chance even when I play nicely, coordinate swf still kicks my ass so nothing really changed where.

Reassurance means a single survivor can add up to 3 minutes to any hook stage no questions asked. Doesnt matter if you are near the hook or on the other side of the map. If some one is on death hook and the rest of the team is doing fine, its 100% better to use reassurance to keep the guy on the hook than to save them and risk getting them sacrificed.
Reassurance needs a few conditions to not be batshit insane.
So that survivor isn't doing anything anyway. Might as well be dead. It's a 3v1 but someone have to go the hook ever so often to enable stoppage. So go defend gens, where is essentially only 2 people doing them, so you chase one and only one survivor is pressuring gens.
-
Legion for obvious reasons.
Aside from him, I find every "ranged" killer to be pretty boring, be it pyramid head, nemesis even demo to and extent. Where you basically die on loops by default because of their power and can't do anything about it. Or in other words hold W killers.
-
Yeah, I get about the same. My mmr is dropping because I die a lot after a patch and get worse teammates but killer skill stays the same so it's even a bigger slaughter. Really I feel like canon ball for killer fun at this point.
-
I hope bhvr takes action if same account gets many reports. I just use endgame report. Not hard to press cheat button.
-
The worst thing is about mmr is I die a lot more and getting worse survivors because of it. But for some reason I still get nothing but blights, nurses and spirits as killers who can read your mind. So don't even have a chance to escape 85% of my games. Like 0. Baby Meg will not loop comp blight for more than 10 seconds.

Who ? SupaAlf ? He said on his last stream that nurse is very addon dependent and can be stomped by good teams. So which god nurse said that basekit is fine against good survivors ?
Do you have any gameplay video of you playing against good teams as nurse BASEKIT ?
Also midwich is a killer sided map. Pig, Hag, Demo will perfom well on this map, it doesn’t mean they should be nerfed.
He also won 250+ games in a row with her. Clearly perfectly balanced killer and just need range add ons to be nerfed. Everything else is fine, just have 5000 hours in a game and hope your team does too, when you can hope to win againts her.

DH still has a very high pickrate. I see it in most of my games.
Her getting "smoothed over" happened before the Killswitch and those were all bugfixes.
Nurse is easier to pick up now, but still not *easy*. She's still one of the hardest in the game, and if you can't admit that you're denying objective fact.
You are the only one who defends nurse in this sub. Wonder why🤔
Don't want to lose your easy 4k machine?
-
I tracked 25 matches of mine through the week(don't play much because soloQ is complete ######### now). 20 of those been nurse/blight/spirit. 3 were oni because of his bug, one was memer billy and one demo. Tunneling happened in 14 of games. Onis of course didn't tunnel because had it's power all the time, Billy and demo neither, so people are just super insecure about they winning chances even if they play strongest killers with strongest add ons. Got to 5 gens done 7 times during those matches, 5 escapes. Counting memer billy.

I'd rather just skip the BS and have it auto-buy up to prestige. I only play one survivor, so I don't much care about items/offerings/add-ons for characters I am never ever going to play as.
Yep, what's exactly me. I only play yui and doctor and all points go to them aside from when I level new characters for their perks. Would be a massive boost of time saving for people to press one button instead of 20 and also waiting few seconds every time.
-
Shelter woods for me personally. Just and empty plane with few walls on edges. You running balance landing? You don't in this map.
Second would be RPD. It's just too big and bad map to play dbd on.
Third goes to game. How the hell bhvr still haven't tuned it is beyond me.
-
If you want to escape bring massive toolbox with build to last and prove. In my test any other build is doomed to fail and everyone dies. You need to be really efficient with gens because chases are way shorter.

I’d love to be wrong though, it seems kinda stupid for it to work like that tbh.
Well when... I guess it works as intended

Where are you people finding these nonstop tunnelers?
I played five games last night, and I was tunneled ONCE.
ONCE.
Remember most people here are younger and probably plays in the morning, day time. And teens young adults don't give a F about people fun and play to win.
At night older people play who have some empathy and at least try to make everyone have some fun.
I play both times because of my job and morning gameplay is WAYY different than night gameplay.
-
A yes, as I thought. Soon killer mains will start to complain about "this is not happening". It's 30% bigger skill checks and gens get done faster by 2sec. Please nerf.
Really It's just new meta. Chases are faster so survivors need to do gens faster. Wait 5 years for bhvr to change this meta. Where is nothing else worth running. Heal builds are killed with botony and self care nerfs. Chase builds are killed. You can slap on lithe but it's no dead heart. What else are survivors supposed to run? Meme builds? They get boring fast too.

"Ineffective basekit BT"
You know you could still run regular BT, it even got a buff in this patch.
We shouldn't run perks to "fix" the game! It's on bhvr to fix the game so people would like to play it and pay money for it and pay for skins because they enjoy the game.
So far they did the opposite. Buffed the most unfun gameplay option in a game - tunneling. I installed the game few days ago to do an experiment and see how it goes. 16 out of 20 games where tunneling games. Actually the only killer who didn't tunnel was Oni because he is massively bugged and he have his power all the time and zoom around the map without any problem. He is now better blight I think with constantly having his power.
I played in earlier hours so most likely killers were younger age people and they completely don't care about any "honorably" gameplay and just go all out to win. They have to be put "in a box" and this shity tactics should be killed at the core of gameplay, not fixed with builds where you have to run 3 perks in order to play for more than 2min in a match.
-
I'd say - legion is not OP in anyway. No one says that. What people are saying is that he is BORING BORING BORING killer to play againts. You play for 20min for him to get 0K and basically nothing happens in a match aside from you getting to hold one button for 20min. Exiting gameplay!
At least with nurse match ends in 3min and you can move on to the next match.
-
I have a rule. If people get tunneled/camped three matches in a row I stop playing dbd for a day. I usually play 3 dbd matches in a day. Well not anymore, I play 0 now cause this update killed already ######### soloQ experience.
-
I already deleted the game after trying out and playing for 15 games or so. It's a complete one sided slaughter. No fun to be had as a soloQ survivor. Baskekit BT does nothing if killer wants you dead. S and A tier killers are completely unstoppable now. I'm not wasting my time and being a play toy for killer mains. Congrats, you won, enjoy your 10min queues for your easy 4ks.
-
Wait botony no longer helps with medkits? RIP me when. Was my go to build yellow medkit + botony. Two easy heals.

@Marigoria said:
Because I like to hoard so it looks nice on my item collection
Ok, to all the horders - you just watch the numbers go up and think "nice". Never gonna use it any of this, but numbers are nice.
Everytime I do "deplete toolbox" challenge the only thought in my head is "wish this stupid challenge didn't exist so I could heal with a medkit and go for a rescue". I don't know, I don't get why people willingly nerf themselves so hard. For killers I get it, it's easy to steam roll 90% of dbd players and some sort of challenge from time to time is nice to have. But for solo q.... Not so much. You need to take everything you got to escape at least once in 10 games.
