  • There ya go frosty. An actual comment without trying to insult how I'm playing the game.

Intellect is rare here i guess.

The thread is about why is last hook insta death, and theres people saying bad survivor and people trying to "teach" me with my thousand hours how to play, instead of answering the simple question. It removes any chance to do some epic ######### , youre given three free trys as long as your not the last hook anyways, and if you have a perk revolved around it, why tf not let me try?

Everyone just want to move on to the next game? Maybe the killer, but the survivor wants to try and not be instant killed on his first hook. Other survivors like to see if the last person makes it. Its not like it'll drag on the game for another hour by giving me the escape chance.

Just sounds like pissy killer mains fretting over the fact i mentioned something regarding survivors gameplay.

  • The thing thats stupid and unfair is how close the gates always spawn next to each other. People say it "rarely" happens but if it makes it to the egc i almost always encounter doors spawning too close to each other. When i play killer it feels dumb to get a free kill because i dont even have to patrol the doors, and when i play survivor it sucks knowing in going to die no matter because they're in view of each other.

They just need to fix the door spawns and its all good.

  • Yeah queue times are long as ######### on ps4 for survivors. It takes less then a minute to start a lobby as a killer and get four survivors in but when youre survivor i find myself often waiting anywhere from 5 - 20 minutes to get thrown in a lobby.

Then of course killer leaves, a survivors leaves when the match starts, etc so then i have to wait another half hour.

I would LOVE ps4 queue times to be looked at from the devs, i only have a few hours to play, i dont want to spend 90% of that time looking for a lobby.

  • I can see another pointless baby gaggle. I am complaining about the first hook equal last death. Defeats the purpose of a game changing kobe, especially if the game says I am 100% to do so.

  • @Cymer said:

Did you survive? No. You died on your first hook.

I don't know for certain, but if you would have bought your teammates some time by taking the killers attention, looping him around a bit, so the rest of the team can take a breath and reset, heal up or do some gens. This might increase your survivability?

In the end, I am not the one opening a thread and complaining that I die on the first hook with Deliverance up.

Not sure if youre that guy that responded before , but I'll say the same thing. More so since youre replying with some sort of elitist response. I'll literally break it down since you're that desperate to try and insult survivors. ( killer main again btw, dont know why you're so upset ) . As I said it was a solid ass game, I got numerous safe hooks, I used the diversion and saved the team countless times, distracting the killer, I DID take as many hits as possible without throwing myself away. I didnt spell it out because it's really not relevant because i thought when i said I did what could , safe hooks and blah blah blah. I did take hits. I took as many as i could without pointlessly Downing myself. The only "meta" perk I run is self care, I use it because im solo 100%. I am not going to rely on strangers for my well-being. Id heal take a hit, and leave. When I can.

I just don't see why youre so desperate to try and make me feel like ######### when i clearly stated otherwise.

    Rveryone had played with potatoes

People seem to regard this as a very bad pairing and I think I see why. Some consoles struggle with frame rates, apparently, and controllers might not be adequate for the split-second timing she requires.

Does anyone play her on console anyway? Is it worth it to try learning her? Are there any special tips or tricks to be aware of that make the experience less painful? Can console Nurse generate as much survivor salt as PC Nurse?

My console is Xbox One X, for the record, though I'm eager to hear from anyone who plays on PS4 or uses a controller on PC.

I mainly play ps4 and compared to pc her attack, as well as any other killer is extremely more difficult. 360s are easier, even against high ass ranks and tracking with someone like nurse who has a fatigue after every swing is more tedious since you canr swinf around fast enough like you could with a mouse.

Anyways, ive never seen the frame issue but split second timing on a game that requires it is important, ans to answer your question . it is a ######### to play as nurse when you cant 1080 a target if need be.

  • I forget most things are circumstantial with this game. I was just hoping for some straight up math but i get it more.

  • Crap is a bad word?

@Cymer So basically as a survivor he needs to get hooked by the killer because he has a perk who gives him a free escape? Is like you say "Had MoM and didn't take a hit for your teammates?" and it's ilogical. The main goal as a surv is to survive, if he didn't try to rescue, or he did but his teammates are a bunch of potatoes is not the issue.

About the "comparation" you tried to make. It's simply ridiculous.

You as a survivor needs to use your perks in the way who benefit you more in order to survive. Being hooked even because you have deliverance, doesn't benefit you. Why? First, the killer hooked you once. Wich means that you have only 60 secs of the struggling phase. Second, it's risky, because you can't unhook yourself in the second phase and you are trusting that another survivors will rescue you, another survivors who will try to survive as well and if they don't want to take the risk, then they won't do it.

Having a perk doesn't mean you need to risk using it at the moment because you have it, wich I won't because it's my perk I BRING IT and I deceide in wich way it benefits me more. If I don't want to take a hit even with MoM active, then I won't. You are implying that a survivor needs to be altruistic when they just need to escape.

Thank you. Despite it being a "4v1" every survivor has the sole goal of surviving, so if im playing with potatoes just because I have this or that perk MEANS i HAVE to literally kill myself? For someone who will go down instantly even if i sacc myself? No.

Whys it so hard for people to just say normal ######### like that.

  • Theres two different questions. One is if hes coming or a possibility. The other being perk suggestions.

You mention the legality of it so i dont know why you bother with first question.

    Jason wont be on dbd.

As for perks, its all make believe so whats the point.

  • @Spirez said:

In a perfect world yes, two survivors on their own gen is better. However in the situations you get in. Sometimes it’s better for 2 or more people to be on a gen because it might be in a bad stop and you just want to get that one done ASAP without risking being in that spot longer.

Got you. I mean , if two gens are being started at the same time by two different survivors. Thats faster then two survivors cracking out a gen then hopping on a new one? Like can two gens be dome faster by two survivors on different gens or be faster by two survivors doing two gens together?

  • Despite the perks, how bad or good they are. Like all killers and survivors hes basically a cosmetic. You can eventuallly gwt all the perks from shrine, unless youre desperate for his perks hes just another cosmetic, but people love cosmetics and i dont know but yeah i ont know what to tell you other then that

  • I think it would be an awesome addition to the game. It would add more strategy. I mean theres always that time where its like , "I want him close to this area for this reason" but its uncertain if its too far or not.

The only thing i can see wrong is that killers would just drop the survivor the second the bar is past no return.

And i might be wrong , but the wiggle meter only increases per drop when you Pick up the survivor again. So i can definitely see just dropping survivors be the problem why.

  • I think it's be nice to have the same rules as devour. As many times as I've tried to use lullaby it gets destroyed almost instantly such as ruin does. Its stupidly powerful if you can get all stacks and a decent spawn but that doesnt happen because totems always spawn next to gens.

Side note ######### does devour not show itself until Insta kill is enabled?

  • What do you mean? Like on apex it shows the random you got matched with?

On ps4 it doesnt matter , everyone has their ######### set to private anyways.

Plus multiplayer has kind of been lacking attention on this game, i mean it took them three years to make it so that you dont have to invite your friends after ever game

    Freddy's pretty fun now.

    Glad you think so.

Edgar do you like pallets or snares better? Despite what I see most people say I think snares are more powerful , but prefer pallets because nothing is more soothing for the soul then when i get bagged in front of a fake pallet :)

Did you read it all? I got accused of creating a 2nd account for this thread, lol.

Yes glint, i heard you got making alts hahah. It was quiet a read.

  • Oh my. . Hahaha. I thought I'd come here and ######### about a toxic killer, get called a moron and continue my business but this thread turned into something wild.

  • Dont know if youre stupid and cant read or just trying to troll. I had three or four safe hooks that game, and did what i could to keep them alive, was also the only one doing generators. Dont know how that makes it "my fault" the team died. Plus i cant take a hit for a player across the map, when i don't know where he is in the first place, and when hes right under a hook.

You ignored the entire thread and made a dumb comment instead.

Oh derp, I misread your post. My bad.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/677450#Comment_677450

It's all good. That Clown sounds like a real piece of ######### and I personally don't blame you for dispersing a little salt, just... you know. War's over, Rambo.

Truthfully all i wanted was for someone to agree that he was being a douche. But nah man like i said I wasnt starting a war over it , it was just my last game that put me to 1m bp so i got nothing to do but talk.

    Anyways , cheers.

  • I know. I could have said a legitimate topic but thatd do what, start another pointless argument. It was a rant, regarding toxic killers acting poor after game because they had better addons. Which was the main jist of it but it got taken

    Not that way.

Typically we'd rather crack jokes and keep things lighthearted than engage in back and forth flaming or something. We're also not "picking sides" or anything, since we actually are also in a chat about how OP deadhard is, lol. @GrootDude Post your clip of your "dead hard counter". Everyone here agrees that toxic endgame chat sucks. We just dont want the forums to piss us off, so we try to be lighthearted.

I can understand that, the community is generally disgusting as he'll. But toxic is defined in too many different ways. Gen rushing is toxic and offensive to some, me being joked at when i just want a serious convo is offensive to me.

  • There a go, a real, logical comment. That's exactly it. Its not beneficial at all, the only reason to use it is to be toxic or derank.

The only worse part is throwing in more after game toxicity acting like your some god. ( title )

  • Ah the generic logic avoidance and back to mindless joking.

    Gg ez? Amirite

  • Im not triggered, I maxed on bloodpoints and dont want to waste anymore until the update so I'm not playing anymore. Just having a conversation.

  • I was taking solely about the killer. I dont know how many bottle he had but when you're throwing them nonstop hoping for a trashy hitbox i wouldnt call that skill. Like i said the few that did "hit" and im using those quotes because obvious reasons they werent at all near me but it took all five or six he had to down me the last time so no i would disagree. If you have an abundance and can just lob them thats not beast, so dont act beast.

Again youre not understanding, i dont care about insta downs. Just don't act like youre a god because of it.

  • Maybe a better title would be.

:Humble yourselves? Maybe that'll trigger a little less?

  • Also I wasnt talking about pony. I was talking about the first generic survivor comment about insta heals, as if that were somehow relevant. And you (groot) and yamo making pointless jokes about one word from my entire thread.

  • First sign of salty "----" main mentality is instantly responding with some pointless statement and making some blatant insulting joke to diminish the other party.

    :I think noed is lame

    - oh well survivors got bt , adrenaline. Blahblahblah you get the point?

Me saying one thing instantly resulted in people cracking this and that joke about it guess i won't use my chainsaw. Its not relevant or productive. I wasnt being a wise ass when i was "complaining" about my toxic encounter. Dont know why you guys hoped on her acting rude. I was just saying that , like the title says, insta downs dont make you good. I played Billy and Myers for hundreds of countless hours, but never once have i tried to ######### in other survivors mouths acting like im a god for hitting the trigger while I'm t3 or chaining some bot running in a straight line

  • I did? The title is the statement, and the story is what happened to make me say it. I had a ######### killer act like he was tough ######### for using an Insta down addon, I expressed that mentality is a joke and referred back to the title.

  • Looks like two brainless killer mains got triggered somehow. I wasnt complaining about killers, or their addons in any way. I was moreso complaining about the toxic mindset, that actually ive seen quite a lot when killers use instant downs such as iridescent , or redhead fingers in this instant.

But if you can't read then i guess just post the first triggered sentance that comes to your mind, which is trying to insult survivor mentality which. I dont have because im a killer main. Lol

  • True, I get delaying the inevitable is boring. I hate when survivors linger at the end of the match when i want to check killers perks but I guess just in the of instance i thought even with deliverance it was stupid but i can agree with what you guys said

  • I understand, its just like even with deliverance it seems wrong to not even be given the chance. What about slippy hooks too ya know.
