Just going by your selfmade rules: as you cannot expect that people just play as a 4-man SWF and making calls on voice like a Seal Team 6, the only answer would be around 4 individuals.
Also survivor can always get buffs depending on the situation. Thats never tied to any selfmade rules.

You cant stop posting this threads even after everyone told you how far away your are from the truth?

While suffering from regression meta for years, people still want it to be buffed is really amazing. No words for this.

Because without slowdowns matches are even shorter, that's why.
It's not an happy choice, it's a forced one.https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3810903#Comment_3810903
As we've said many times now, the killer themselves provide the variance to the time it takes survivors to do their objective. If the killer is pressuring them then the survivors will be taking longer. It's going in circles here.
False, because your game view is totally survivor sided, even if you play killer (it's not the point here). The objective of the killer is to KILL. Not buying time AND/OR supply variance to survivors. The killer is not a tool, is a player like you, too ofter treated like a given service.
Yeah, gen speed is crazy, regression perks are bad for everyone, but it's mandatory or a killer will succumb in minutes (aka they'll not play at all).
Its not a forced one, its going the easiest way. Good players dont have to run 4 Slowdowns. The game is just catering towards bad killer players in so many ways it became really pathetic. And maybe just 1% of this players will ever get better than average with this, but by erelying on this and several other strategies they can beat above average survivors.
-
If it is a joke, why not playing without four slowdowns and using something thats not a joke? We had the prophecies that after the latest nerfs all those perks are dead. But we still see the same old perks being used. With the same kill rates. And we still have the same situation like before, that say: people are completely reliant on those perks cause they dont nkow how to play without them.
-
They needed years to implement an automatic system for a single bloodweb. It would need them another years to implement anything like this.
-
I seriously have no idea who thought that comboing Nurse and Blight would be a great idea.
-
Just opening more threads like this doesnt change the fact that you have no idea what youre even talking about.
-
Original 2vs8 was so badly killer-sided that they even pushed bonus-BP to +400% on survivor and even then just a few people had the needs to play this game mode at all and that wasnt purely just cause they wanted to play with more than 3 friends. Now you get some changes that may profit survivor a tad more and people are already claiming its survivorsided. That exactly shows how much game sense the average players has. And thats not enough to make any calls.

Ironic when its survivors constantly compensated for playing badly, while killers are actively punished by game mechanics for playing "properly". As usual its a rule for ye and not for me mentality. Going by your own logic i guess we can remove all your buffs and second chance perks and demand you play properly and learn to play without hand holding? Seems only fair.
When did survivors get rewarded for playing poorly?
-
The game is just as accurate as the weather forecast. People complained about this for ages and nothing changed or will change. And next comments will all be about its a ping issue, however that anyone knows its a lie
-
Killers are not supposed to easily control both exits. Right now its still just too killer-friendly as exits basically can spawn right next to each other, making escape attemps completely worthless.
-
Mirror Myers can be fun if the killer wants to have fun. Otherwise its just a stupid wallhack for camper.
On the other side, Tombstone needs to go. Nothing even to discuss about this.
-
How do you even see emblems? Theyre not shown anymore. Besides that, ranks doesnt matter. There can be three P100 players and none of them must be a decent player.
-
Those 10s measly do anything to any side. Why reverting something that has basically no effect on gameplay? No killer is going to slug just of 10s more or less on the hook stage as it makes no difference. No survivor waits too long and gets them in second stage unless theyre bad at this game. For both sides nothing really changed.

At some point you just need to recognize there's a skill issue. The more BHVR adds basekit mechanics against tunneling or camping, the more people complain about tunneling and camping so these basekit mechanics clearly aren't solving the issue. Survivors have tools to deal with these strategies they refuse to use, because they unreasonably expect to be immune to dying early.
All those anti-whatever things dont do anything. DS Basekit wouldnt solve tunneling in the slightest, cause you can easily tunnel through DS with most killers. We already had that when everyone ran DS fpr getting 10s more in this game. Same goes for every anti-whatever. They just dont do anything and you cannot run every anti-whatsoever cause youre limited to 4 perks. You would probably need twice the perks and it still wouldnt do much about the issue. Playing survivor is just a miserable thing to begin with cause killers are, for whatever reason, immune to play normal gameplay.

I think the fact so many killers "lack skill" with no perks while survivors can easily loop from pallet to pallet without perks shows the killers should be buffed so they don't require perks just like survivors. Can't have it all ways, nerf the killers, nerd the perks what do you expect killers to do? They will find other ways to kill, ways that often survivors don't enjoy.
I expect killer players to learn how to play their character properly. Why should bad players be compensated with buffs?

Doesn't that show that gens pop too fast? Without slow down perks killers seem to have to use other tactics
No. It just shows that those killers lack skill to use their powers properly without slowdown as good killers can do.

it was a reason uroboros are no threat to survivors anymore, so there is 0 point to cleanse against it cause you can still looping with 4% speed penalty just fine
You do not understand the cruciality of speed in this game, do you?
-
Its not a matter of buff or nerf, its a matter of how it turns out to affect the gameplay. Except this forum, which is hard killer-biased, you see them always complaining about anything survivors get, or crying for a tradeoff on their side for no reason. Still even with the changes, nothing will change, cause the perks are literally so niche, they arent relevant to core gameplay. Weve seen this before on a different scale: slowdowns got nerfed and everybody on this killer sided forums complaint that theyre trashed, and still be see the same perks as before and it turned out to be not much of a difference at all.
-
Especially in chaos shuffle you can uncover the lack of skill on killer players. As long as they cant rely on their four slowdowns theyre instantly shifting to cheap game mechanics no matter the "strategy".

@ShiroSaburo said:
Survivors with no windows of opportunity and exhaustion perks are having a very hard time looping. These perks are officially a crutch proven by Chaos Shuffle.
I think it's high time to nerf these perks especially Windows of Opportunity? It's helping the survivors too much.
ts common sense that this is easier to do with those perks equipped. Still why should it be crutches? Crutches are thing you can use to cover up for bad plays. Having trouble looping isnt bad play, its how this game works in its basic state. Also starting again a topic about windows after we had this for thousands of times and everytime it was explained so that people like you who dont understand its reral value shpuld be silenced.
The only thing chaos shuffle has proofed for the second time now, is that killers that only rely on slowdown are just covering up there lack of skill on using killer powers properly.
-
Most players dont know the basics of this game.
-
Always another trial of the "dont trust any statistics you didnt personally faked". The win rate scenarios are always pretending there is only win or loss. But there isnt, there are still draws to be taken into account when you want to make something out of this scenario. Also in the kill rate you have to factor into the hatch escapes which are literally random outlier screwing the statistic in itself. I really hate those statistics, cause nothing good ever came out of them.
-
This seems like poor bait. Nothing to argue with, just claiming something is a way it isnt.
-
Nobody uses anti-slug cause there is nothing really usable to begin with. Or should everyone run No Mither from now on? Even then youre most likely down in another few seconds again and this is rinse and repeat until everyone is down or bled out. Also it isnt easy to "destroy" at all unless you play 4-man-SWF with pickup perk and even then depending on the slug-build, you have more issues to cover than anything else.
Sluggin builds are since the old days the utmost unfun way to get over (play wouldnt even be a possible word for this) the game. There is not a single argument to pretend that slugging builds should even be a part of this game.

Nah. Players only pub stomp because the average skill of the community is not that good. You can call it "average" but average in dbd is still not that good but even then average can still win games.
If an everage killer plays against average survivor team the outcome should (!) be about small differences and would come in all sorts of outcomes. But actually it isnt. It all comes down on how "easy" the killer wants to go on the survivor. I can still go to stomp better survs than me if I go all out on cheap gameplay thats atm available, especially if i use one of the S-Tier killers. If youre an average survivor team, you will only win if the killer plays chill or does several (!) mistakes that leads into game-changing situations. Thats the actual state of the game (for several years now). And every major update turned this into more a mess than before. Denying this is completely out of reality.
-
Its a vs game. Everytime some side speaks about their own or the other side its already a us vs them discussion. no matter the actual content. The only issues is that most people have no idea on balance for a fair game (even the devs have a twisted mindset on this topic). People complain but dont (want to) understand that theyre wrong, theyre completely biased for whatever reason. I can tell that the biggest part of players has not enough basic gamesense, and this goes even for no matter how much hours theyve played. I regularly see players with thousands of hours making bad plays, they shouldnt do at this level of playtime. And be honest, this game has not much depth getting used to on either side. and those arent even mistakes as a matter of actual skill. also many people are stupid and parrot everything some content creators sell them as "the real deal".

This is reality.

Its basically NEVER about feedback. Its just personal matter of the devs that want to do their own thing for no reason.

Yeah i also think it was just sign of protest. And actually people start remember knockout existance right after eruption/cob nerfs, after pop/pain res nerf it became common perk to face against, but peak of it was right after 10 sec hook stage update when i saw knockout every 3 or 4 game.
Doing a protest against a game that is entirely killer-sided is so typical for this killer-biased community with the most toxic people ever to be gathered in any game. But the saddest thign is that devs even encourage this behaviour instead of having a fine game.
-
Cause they never really take feedback serious enough to make better changes.

When gen regression was strong, survivors had an issue with that, and perks like corrupt, pop, pain res, ruin, and deadlock among others were nerfed.
When Hit and run was strong, survivors had an issue with that, and all mangled addons were nerfed, as was sloppy butcher
Now I'm seeing survivors all saying that aura reading is too strong and that needs to be nerfed.
I must ask, how do survivors want killers to play? What is your preferred style of game play with a killer? What perks and add ons are on the OK list?
I'm aware that killers have demanded nerfs too (the only three in my opinion that were justified and needed were Ds, DH, and MFT.) I'm not mad or trying to bait. I'd just love survivors mains to express what is their preferred style of gameplay against killers. It isnt always a matter on how to play, its why kilelrs always have some busted things for years now, and have the need to combo this with the worst possible playstyles.

There is no other game thats even near on having such a bad matchmaking.

I read about slugging complains.
However, in my experience, most survivor prefer being slugged for minutes than the alternative.
Case in point: in this match, it was clear to me this night team stood little chance against me, even if Mikaela was very good at jukes, the others lacked her experience. They had the right idea though, so at least chasing them and their attempts at misdirection was fun.
In these cases, especially at night, I always play nice. Meaning I'll slug but hook slowly. First round after they did 2 gens, second round after they did four, no third round. Instead of hooking, I've slugged. It lasted long enough for the David to be almost out of blood (so I've stopped hitting him twice near the end).
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/HQ8SCC2PYS7U/image.png
As you can see in the chat, they are among the many who'd rather wait a bit on the ground than be killed.
Granted, sometimes I get a team that'd rather be dead than slugged. They are extremely rare though.
Again, in my experience.
I need to state that I only play nice in these matches. Against a competitive team rushing gens, I'll play as hard and efficiently as I can.
Thats nothing to do with the slugging complaints.

Game is way more fun than it ever was. Admittedly, a bit stale on the survivor side bc it's the same gameplay over and over, but killers are still pretty fresh.
I think you just need to take a break from the game or change your attitude.
The game was never in a worse state gameplay-wise, unless you consider year 1.
-
Opening chests is basically just a time input requirement, same as totem perks (i.e. Inner strenght). The problem is, that neither chests are rewarding nor are the perks effectively usable. Just doing math on those perks shows how bad they are. Literally just another kind of noobtraps. Not that survivors needed even more noobtraps.
-
The funny thing is, that those who were running those perks complained about the latest nerfs and said that those perks are useless. So why do we have the exact same perk builds as pre-nerf? And imagine, there were times when killer had no bunch of regression perks and still were able to win their games consistently. Why isnt it possible for killer nowadays, though everything for surivors from the past got nerfed into oblivion?
-
@joel84 said:
Don't get me wrong,
but if the developers want to change the meta further, they need to adapt this perk.
It's time for this perk to get a cooldown.
Change my mind
Why would you need to change a perk that works well, doesnt cause any gameplay issues and isnt OP? Just changing the meta is the worst possible concept of balance. We already had that and it got way worse than before.
-
So what? Killers have ways to screw up statistics the same way, and nobody ever mentiones them. Its always just the bad bad survivors. Also as long as devs dont come up with solutions to the underlying issues and people can use them as strategy its fine, right?
-
@RenoPro said:
The game can't be balanced around them and was not created with them in mind( all the visual perk prove it). How many perks where getting nerfed bc squad would abuse them? Adrenaline for example.
This is not a competitive game and should be balanced around the solo Q-Killer experience.
is not a punishment for playing with your friend is just a balance to make the game fair for all.
Did you even take a look at the latest statistics? Or are just one of those SWF-haters?
-
The devs dont see this as an issue, despite even more and more killer just relying on bad game design like this.

If the reason you want basekit windows is because you dont know the maps, thats a skill issue.
Windows has nothing to do with not knowing maps.

The result of sbmm and mmr is getting the same boring matches over and over and never improve bc you encounter only pp of your level.
I propose to remove it completely and add a system where player with less than n° of hour will only match themself until they reach the cap of h° and will get trow with everybody else.
That would be even way worse than the actual nonsense. We just have to get back to the old rank system. This had much moure depth to skill measurement than kill and escape, which is the laziest mmr possible. Still the devs refuse the accept their failure on sbmmr and actually create something to evolve the game.
-
Its not Dracula. Its a twisted castlevania adaption. I am really disappointed that they used castlevania as a coop to introduce a vampire killer instead of creating an original killer based on the real legend of Dracula. (nothing against castlevania itself). I think this was a really poor decicion as they had the big chance to bring the first "real horror legend" into the game. Now its just another game-coop adaptation that ruins the original with this compilation of powers that doesnt fit to the original.
