I used to be red rank killer before.

I was stop playing after ruin removed.

and i came back now for the new killer.

But i don't want to play with red rank survivors without old ruin.

At least before i find a way to stop 2 gens pop when i get my first hook.

My heart is not strong enough to afford the stress of that.

But i keep pair with high rank player when i still stay in green rank.

Which is stress as hell and is Literally why i was quit.

And imagine if i am a new player who just buy the game.

It 100% can not be a fun Experience.

You simply need to adapt, use better perks and learn how to pressure survivors. Besides there are still some perks out there that make progression on gens an absolute chore, they just require the killer to work for it. In my opinion it feels much more refreshing and rewarding when I max out Huntress Lullaby or Dying Light and stop survivors from gen rushing. I still have my bad games here and there but you win some you lose some it's not the end of the world just because one meta perk got nerfed. Ruin was never really that good against competent survivors. It could be annoying for sure especially when the game randomly lags and makes you miss the skill check but for most of the times that totem never really lasted more than 2 minutes.

Autohaven is not a small realm. Azarov’s and Blood Lodge (168 sq tiles) are even bigger than Gas Heaven and Wretched Shop is the same size as Gas Heaven. Wrecker’s Yard is pretty small though.

Autohaven is considered one of the best killer realms because most of the pallets are able to be mindgamed and it has barely any line of sight blockers, but also has strong central structures and loop spots. Overall Autohaven is very balanced when compared to other maps.

Badham is terrible. I dread getting those maps.

Yeah, sorry had a brain fart there. I just have never like playing Azarovs maps as a killer in general. Azarovs Resting Place and Wreckers Yard are the only ones I can stand playing, the other 3 are rage inducing for me. ESPECIALLY Blood Lodge.

and Yeah Badham Preschool is by far the worst map to play as killer

This is honest to god ridiculous. Just got done on an auto haven map, I broke 17 pallets and there were at least 5 more. When you combine them with strong loopers and the second chance perks, killer has no chance at all. Stop balancing these maps around idiots, because you're making the skilled players damned near unbeatable.

Auto haven have always been somewhat of a mess to play as Killer. Since those maps are all pretty small (except Gas Heaven) they usually tend to spawn with WAY to many pallets close together. At least they are somewhat unsafe if you mind game right but still a very survivor sided map in general. And don’t even get me started with the 5 versions of Badham Preschool

Anyone remember Howling Grounds? Basically, for the first week or so of the event, devs did some coke and made it so that if a killer was stunned or blinded at any point during the pickup animation, they would drop the survivor. Naturally, to benefit off this, all survivors brought flashlights. With the longer pickup animations back then, not even Lightborn would be enough to counter it. Survivor downed under a pallet? Too bad, free escape. Survivor downed in the open? Tough #########. Thankfully, this change was reverted pretty fast, but holy hell, Howling Grounds was basically unplayable for a week. Still being fairly new, having started in January 2018 as a Wraith main of all things, Howling Grounds was hell.

There's footage of the change somewhere in here. I would watch it myself again to find the specific times but this video triggers my PTSD of how bad DBD used to be.

Jesus Christ that pallet save at 10:09 XD. I forgot how old DS was outright the most broken thing this game ever had.

Both killer and survivors have had their share if changes like this, and Id like to see some input on it

For survivors definitely Mettle of Man : I understand that it could be somewhat annoying for killers especially on endgame which it it was a free out jail card but it was very situational perk with a very huge drawback to it. Now it's entirely useless and very hard to even activate.

    For killers:

I am somewhat mixed with the nurse overall rework. It doesn't affect me cause I thought it was a slight touch to her but it takes away a lot of her true pressure potential. But I can understand why they Nerf her. Though her add-ons are very trashy at the moment.

A very huge buff I absolutely hated was the change to make all totems do the exact same thing on all tiers. NOED exposed effect was unlocked only at the 3rd tier. It was the main reason to tier it up but now it has the exposed effect on all tiers making pointless to tier it up in the first place. Same thing with Ruin (which possibly was the reason it got so overused on red ranks and ultimately nerfed) and Devour Hope (this one doesn't bother me as much as pre-nerf ruin or NOED but it was a still a somewhat unnecessary change in my opinion)

Sloppy Butcher: If you use this perk in general you definelty sleep with your socks on XD

And last but not least, reworking Badham Preschool (a somewhat survivor sided map) into 5 different mini maps all equally as unbalanced for the killer. SO many pallets three feet from each other and like 4 different god looping areas.

This is a debate I had with a friend and curious to hear others thoughts. So, playing both sides, is it reportable offense if you stay at the exit game during the end game collapse? Is it also a reportable offense for killers to slug the last person until the last possible second before bleeding out? I feel killers have the advantage over survivors when it comes to holding the game hostage as the survivor will die no matter what if they wait during the end game collapse or get slugged. If the survivor is waiting at the exit gate, the killer just downs them and they can move on. However, if the killer slugs the last survivor and picks them up at the very last second before hooking them, isn't that holding the game hostage when they could have done so even after the DS timer? I also hate having my time wasted waiting for my friend to die when the killer is just hovering over their slugging body. I'd rather have the killer pick my friend up and kill them so we can all move on to the next match. It takes longer for the bleed out timer to expire than the end game collapse. When solo, I would hate to wait for my bleed out timer to be the last possible second and then get hooked. When playing killer, I would just "escort" the survivors so I can move on to the next game. In the end, I'm upset either way at having my time wasted. However, it's worse being the survivor being slugged than the killer "escorting." But, I do not think either side is reportable. Again, curious about thoughts and I'm pretty sure where they would lean.

Depends honestly. Some killers just make it overboard and slug survivors making the game extend for simply TO MUCH time. Played against a Pig once that basically just kept slugging a random and me and the game lasted for almost an hour( she took about 20 minutes on killing the other two) we both knew were the hatch was. I simply got bored and once she downed me for the third time in that slugfest she was pulling. I Dc’ed ,Dwight escaped and l got hate mail by the killer for just getting absolutely bored with this cheesy strat. It’s just annoying and cheap and it can somewhat be considered taking the game for hostage since the bleed out time is so excruciatingly long.

BTW this was before endgame collapse was a thing.

Mettle of Man takes top prize, and really any of the three Myers’ perks because they really don’t give you anything in return for a serious handicap in its place. Perks should give you some sort of extra advantage. These just pile on and added challenge for what, bloodpoints? They help you lose, not win.

Dying Light is actually very useful. Each time a survivor who isn't the obsession gets rescued it gives you a token and slows down all types of progression. I actually managed to get it to 8 tokens in a game. It was a massacre XD.

Save the best last is also insane but only with killers like Huntress, Hillbilly, Demogorgon and basically anybody else who has anything else apart from the M1 or right trigger to attack.

  • Reworked Doctor and Demo gorgon are two big options for me. Doctor is so much fun to play now thanks to the fact he doesn't has to change at a snails pace his stances, his range on the shock still sucks but is much more rewarding in my opinion and much better in chases due to his better potential at interrupting certain animations.

Demogorgon is just really fun and great at ending chases.

  • When I play survivor I despise playing against Sloppy + Thanatophobia combo, it takes a year to heal and it takes a year to do a genie.

    As a killer, maybe Adrenaline

That logic is so utterly fuckked up. The killer is not cheating in any way unlike the survivor. Slugging is completely acceptable and part of the game. It's not a cheap 4k at all. At that point the killer earned it and the survivors lost and should man up and take the loss. Shows your bad character loud and clear

I'm sorry but DCing is not cheating in any way either especially with the inconsistent DC ban and loss of points and pip (if they even care for it of course) . Taking the game for hostage and dragging it out for to long is by far more cheat worthy . A survivor won't just leave his ass on the ground waiting for the killer to either look for the other survivor or hatch. Unbreakable is quite literally the only perk that helps out survivors when being slug in the 2v1. To be clear I have no problem in general with slugging, I sometimes do slug, but never to drag the game out expecting the survivor to say: Understandable continue on searching for my only hope on actually doing a thing. To each their own honestly the same way you think I have a bad character, it the same way I think about you when you typed that survivors should just accept being slugged in the 2v1 situation.

  • @I_Face_Camp said:

This irritates me so much when there are 2 survivors left and you down one for them to DC and open the hatch instantly. This happens actually quite a bit. Last game I had one down and was looking for hatch and then found the other and her teammate DCed and the hatch was right in front of the living survivor. It's a deliberate cheat and a show of bad sportsmanship.

From somebody who absolutely hates getting slugged at the last two survivors. You are basically taking the game for hostage to get a cheap 4K IMO (especially solo Queque) . There is only one survivor perk that works extremely well against slugging and that is Unbreakable which is by itself a completely situational perk. So I think it's fine for a survivor the DC to get hatch. Especially if the game just takes longer than it should have. At least the DC ban penalty is here to help you a bit against that cheese. If the killer cheeses to win I don't see why a survivor can't.
