As someone who has been held prisoner in my own games for 30+ minutes MANY times during my 2½ years of playing Dead by Daylight.. I just laugh at this double standard coming from survivors now.
I’d hope if it’s down to 2 assuming u got 3 gens done u would be looking for the hatch
that said se05239 I feel ya I’ve had my fair share even got a infinite 3 Myers 5 gens left.
he hid for 3 hours before he dc cause he didnt want me to catch him working on a gen.

As my main boy wraith is a ambush predator. I fish I don’t really care about the hooked person as much as I try to intercept and stop the rescuing survivor.

Actually it doesn't effect me as I don't block. and I honestly have no reason to post on this. except I can see leatherface taking advantage of the fact some people will still try to run past ya . As his saw will still cover the door no change to him I'd say.

I’ll say as someone who mains wraith when I’m in the general area of a hook I’m not interested in the hooked guy. I’m wanting to ambush the fool who’s coming to save without knowing we’re I am. Will I hit the unhooked person if its a option. Sure but the plan I have is for the saving survivor is for them to not make the unhook at all.
and I’ll say if only u saw the amount of vids I have of this being effective...
sometimes it doesn’t work sure but I’ve also turned 1k into 3 and 4K
why wander around the map looking for you when I can wait for u to come to me.
funny enough I don’t camp with leather face lol

So what about the first person hook? If no one decides to save them there just screwed? It gives them a chance if they feel no ones going to save them.

Well deliverance requires a save to use we’re as a 4%is just a roll of the dice anyone can use

I’m not a dev but I believe someone said they wanted people to always have that chance of getting away. U won’t always get it but they didn’t want people to feel totally trapped or something to that effect.

remember man your talking about a game we’re people unhook unsafely, people gen tap cause hitting great skill checks are so hard, and even have some people drop pallets as soon as they find them...
i feel your expectations are way too high.

Just dont get caught first.. if you see killer camping.. dont unhook right away. do gens till 40% of stage 1 then go unhook him infront of killer make sure to tank 2 hits that way u let teh unhooked guy some space to escape.. if killer picks you up u have deliverance.. dont uhook right away again.. wait for stage 1 struggle pahase to be about 40% .. that way yoru buddies can do all gens.. then unhook on his face if he hits you u have 3 stacks fo mettle and DS active.. if he picsk you up then its GG for him.. u get DS and mettel of man to survive cahse for next 2 gens.. since he camped u should have plenty of pallets if u have adrenalin u can disapper in endgame :P. this works like charm against almost all kiler except nurse as her blink hits dont stack mettle of man .. but i think they fixed it in PTB. and also if yoru DS is still active make sure to TBAG and enter aloceker this usually tilts the killer to check the locker and u get a free DS hit.. also u can save a mettle of man if you alreayd had stack
From my Xp as killer the biggest mistake is trying to save when u don’t know were I’m at. Only a idiot would save if u don’t know were the killer is. And as I’ve said countless times yes I’m not within 10 meters of the hook doesn’t mean I’m not 11 meters and waiting for u.

People who want to dc already do dc all the time. And people who want to suicide on hook already do suicide on hook as an alternative to dc-ing so why would it matter if there was a "die instantly" sort of feature? Or let me kick away people who want to farm me off the hook so I don't get forced to kill myself on hook?
id agree with a deny unhook option.

Scrubs aside I feel just adding a symbol next to the persons name that refresh’s every time they dc that last 24 hours is the fix. As a killer main I understand how important what killer u are as a secret matters. But they could just show your name with a symbol if it applys. Let the people decide if they wanna play with a person who dips out on others or not.if it’s a connection issue after 24 hours it would go away so no harm no foul. Works in final fantasy 11 anyway =p

U know thou it's not me as killer that suffers .. it's the other survivers that honestly get screwed over.
People doing it during my leatherface tax collector series provides humor to my friends who watch it so I win lol
That said why not put a emblem on the screen for 24 hours next to there name so everyone knows they like to dip out on people.
While killer should be unknown a name and a DC symbol could also be shown in the lobby

U know give killer there kills based on how many hook states left.
So like a fresh person would be
Hook hook summon sacrifice.
And quitter bonus .
So give survivers 1/4th of what the killer got for the DC and a few points to there lowest emblem.
Seems fair as the games gone to hell at that point.

if you don’t realize why a Legion change was necessary, please watch Farmer John’s video on using Legion with Franks+Cold Dirt. He literally did NOT put in any skill and constantly 4K’d and/or made people DC.

U know honestly I feel they were just being dumb. And while it is dumb one could say in fairness that anyone who unhooks without knowing were the killer is. Would be as bad as a camping killer.
