I love the aesthetics of the new map and the way the siren blares when the gens are powered up is a neat touch, too. But I totally agree that the map is kind of difficult to navigate at first. I've only played on it three times; once each as Freddy, Demo, and Trapper. With Trapper it felt pretty hopeless playing catch-up on most of the gens but that'll only be an issue until I get more play-time on it.
I don't have a lot of experience playing Demo but I could see that top-level players could just wreck shop on that map with him. I did really well with him and my Portal setups were so basic and crude. I noticed that Freddy's Snares seem extra useful on this map, too. I bet playing a good Nurse will be a nightmare on this map.

I really hope -- for my own sake -- they keep insect-like creatures out of DBD. As someone who has kind of gotten over my arachnophobia in video games, I feel like there is already too much insects in video games. The only way I'll support any insect DBD-content is if Candyman is in the game.

What system you playing? I play PS4 and it always takes a while to find a survivor game. However, I've always been able to find games within 10 seconds for killer.
That's the same for me.
The problem for me is that I haven't played Survivor barely at all so I'm always in the rank 18-20 after the reset. It really sucks... I wish they'd make the game the PS Plus free game again or they should do what Overwatch does and have a built-in "team up option" at the end of each game.

Why do I love the ones I do?
Huntress: She's just so satisfying. I love that she can threaten survivors from a distance and players seem to play a more fun style of game when I play her. I'm not very good with her (or really any killer for that matter) but when I finally have the perks I want on her, I'm going to have so much fun
Freddy Krueger: I love the mind-games you can play with Snares and the Gen Teleport. I'm so happy with the rework and seeing as I've been a huge Nightmare On Elm Street fan my entire life, He is exactly my type of killer but I do wish his dream realm had a bit more of a connection to the movies.
Pig: She;s so sneaky and I always seem to do well with her.

I'm definitely the sort of player that switches my killer and perks up game-to-game. I'm usually all about dailies and the Tome challenges. I don't play survivor much at all; in fact, the only characters I've leveled up for survivors are Claudette (Lvl 15) and Meg (Lvl 5) but I bought the Teachable for Dead Hard when it was on the Shrine a few weeks ago and picked up Nancy, Steve Harrington, and Yui so I may want to start picking up survivor teachables so I can level up a Steve or Bill (I always have a soft spot for Bills).
But, back on topic...
I have Freddy and Myers leveled up to 50. Back when I first started playing the game, I only used Myers; now, I find him kind of boring unless I do creative builds. I've really taken a liking to Huntress and Trapper lately. I'm not very good with either one but I have so much fun playing as them. Trouble is I still don't have great perks on them yet. For some reason, I never get good perks to show up in the Bloodweb despite having pretty much every Teachable I want (except Bamboozle, Spirit Fury, Nemesis, and Surge.) I have literally every killer but there are a few I only play if I absolutely have to like Nurse (PS4 player), Plague, Cannibal, and Wraith. I don't think I've ever played Hillbilly in my entire life so there's him, too.
If I were to rank my favorite killers in this game right now, I'd probably order them like this (but my favorite changes depending on the mood I'm in):
- Huntress
- Freddy
- Trapper
- Pig
- Michael Myers
- Hag
- Ghostface
- Spirit
- Clown
- Doctor
- Legion
- Oni
- Plague
- Demogorgon
- Wraith
- Nurse
- Cannibal

I dont use ruin, try different perks/playstyle or u and other ppl will never learn how to play killer properly
I think people are overreacting big-time and that is coming from a strict killer-main. If you absolutely needed Hex: Ruin -- which, let's be honest -- lasts for maybe 2-3 minutes into the game, then I think it's time for you to try new perks out anyway.
I'm willing to try this new Ruin out. If it sucks, I'll just use Corrupt Intervention which is, in my opinion, a more consistently helpful perk anyway.
Everyone needs to calm down.

Not every match is like that. You'll get coordinated, communicating friends from time to time, some who want to make you feel like a fool. My advice, if you can't beat them - join them! Just start having fun with them and make the most points you can knowing they will all escape. You'll enjoy the game more.
That's what I do. I mean, why not just join in on the fun?

Cause trapper is not that weak
Hie biggest problem is he needs time to set up but once he does he's a monster
How many matches i've seen vs trapper where 4 gens get done in 4 minutes and then suddenly someone going for a resque get's trapped and everything just snowballs out of control
He's the master of snowballing and the stats will probably show that
Also if the devs are planning to do something about genrushing i'd rather have them do that first before touching trapper as that is the only reason he is conciddert bad by most people
"...he needs time to set up but once he does, he's a monster."
That's exactly it! I think Trapper players know by now that Corrupt Intervention is absolutely essential. You get a full two minutes to retrieve and set-up your traps and in that time, the survivors likely would've finished nearly 2 generators. I don't ever play without it.

They really aught to do something with it. The perk is an absolute joke and there is zero incentive to use it. At the very least, they should make it worthwhile to use to get a lot of Blood Points. It's not like that would overpower the killer in any way for the survivors to whine about and it would be useful for grinding Blood Points.
Now, if they want to get creative, they could actually use some of the stronger ideas in this thread like the whenever you enter the basement, the survivor hears the full-effect of the Terror Radius heartbeat -- I like that idea a lot.
