It's one way to create pressure, but it's not necessarily a good way.
To give an example, you tunnel that one guy all game. They get saved with BT, you finally down them and get DS'd. Then they're saved again with BT.
All of that is an awful lot of time for the other three healthy survivors to do generators. You're leaving them with nothing else to do. They're all healthy, nobody that's not in a chase needs healing, so the only thing they have left to do is generators. Yes, things would slow down after that one guy dies, but that's only if all the gens aren't done by then. If the guy you're tunneling is decent at the game, that's going to give them plenty of time to do the gens.
Short version, yes, that guy being dead is going to help later in the match, but only if there's still a match left by the time you kill them.
If the first person being chase isn't a complete potato and the other are doing the objective you can easily do 2-3gen by the first hook. And by your 6-7th hook survivors can easily do 4gens. Believe me most killer would like to have the chance of hooking 2-3 different survivor before going back to the first one they hook but the game depend on how skilled survivor are and not or the killer's skill. In fact killer's mistake make your chases last way longer.
BTW it's not hard at all to get a 2k just by camping and tunneling.
Also I have no problem being decent against a full random team of red ranks but have a hard time going against a 3-4 swf in purple rank just because they have the advantage of coms. I do believe SWF is good because many people like to play with friend but can you guys balance the game around them and give free perks/ advantage to lonely survivor to balance it out?

As a killer main i super dislike keys i'd gladly have moris nerfed into the ground if keys can go with them.
SWF is necessary people playing with their friends is good for the game.
I think devs should balance the game for SWF and just give more info for non-swf player. That way killer don't feel cheated by SWF and lonely player aren't at a disadvantage

I totally agree with the OP. Not having any of those icons would make the game more stressful for survivor as they would only know what's happening from sound effect and looking at their team mate icons.

Thats basically what thanatophobia does...
You can't read, can you? What I propose is different from thanatophobia. Killer can't put any pressure on survivor until the first hook and survivor can easily do 2gen if the first one being chases isn't a potato. What I proposed slow down the game until the first hook then everything goes back to normal.

You likely didn't deserve the grab if you didn't get it because on the survivors side they were already running away.
What they should fix though is windows. You could be 3m away from the window after vaulting and still get hit.
Yeah sure... Sometime I play survivor and I see the animation starting and end up just being hit. Last game I did as killer I found someone on a chest, went to grab him but no it was just a hit (not even the animation). At the end of the game the survivor didn't even understood how I just hit him because I didn't lunge and was literally on him and he taught he deserved to be grab.

In my opinion all actions made by survivor should be slowed down until the killer down someone then everything goes back to normal. That way killers don't get punish for bad RNG or chasing a good survivor that make him run for 1-2+ gens. This will help the killer get some momentum and give an incentive for survivor not to abuse safe loop/good pallets because the killer could just break those pallets before continuing the chase.

Right? Except for brand new parts... maybe...
I see that you aren't happy about about OP toolbox being gone... They are still decent on gen, not useless.

Sure dropping pallets, work for the time being, but if you drop the pallet he hits you with his chain, even if he can’t finish the you, you need to mend, giving him time to find you, and terrain features only work so long, I’ve had him chain me through a window and still hit me; he needs a nerf; at the very least fix hitboxes, dead hard should still let us dash by killers, It made it a lot more useful, nowadays any killer with half a mind knows you probably have dead hard and just runs at you until you inevitably, therefore making that perk useless, and I think dead hard shouldn’t prevent a fast vault if you’re heading directly to it. And then there’s DS which every killer knows you have, even if you don’t have it. Should take the timer off, still have to hit that skill check. Anyways, survivors need help, were getting slothed
If you are injured you don't get deep wound effect what ever happen and he have to hit you to down you. If you are not injured then just don't drop the pallet and keep it for later. Not my fault if DH is so good that everyone started using it therefor killer learned to counter it, same goes for DS where the killer need to slug you for a minute. Dedicated server made DH worst than it was but that's it, run other perk if you can't use it properly.
Deathslinger was design to chase 1 and only 1 survivor at the time, most of the time there's is no point inflicting the deep wound effect and chase someone else so again I fail to understand how this is too strong, beside he's slow AF with 110% speed. You are clearly a high rank survivor who still doesn't know how to make him run.

i think it’s comical people think he needs to be buffed, I think a nerf is in order, regardless of his speed he is still faster than survivors and his stun?? Just swing before the chain breaks and you’re good... plus, he can have the gun trained on you and still move at the same pace, so it forces you to make specific movements, and you can’t win against the chain, if you’re caught in open terrain; you’re #########, plus it counts as two hits....
If you're caught in an open space with any M2 killer you're dead no matter what. You only want to break the chain if the survivor is already injured and you know you won't be able to close the distance for a hit. The you have two option: chase a survivor at 110% speed or reload and give the survivor even more distance. And what the ######### about being a two hit if you chain someone? Do we play the same game.
Survivor who complain about him and especially those who think he should be nerf clearly don't know how to counter him. Drop pallet early, have a team mate (even downed people block you ffs(or was it a bug in my game)) block you if it's a long distance or you're hurt and he's not or go behind a wall or obstacle.

I've found that in a lot a cases you can shoot a survivor on the other side of a dropped pallet and maneuver your way around the loop, lunging before the chain breaks to close the gap. Obviously that doesn't work for super safe pallets, but don't underestimate the full lunge distance after the chain. That being said, it still never feels good when you shoot a survivor at the beginning of a vault only for them to continue vaulting.
If he use his harpoon to get you injure he either have to chase you at 110% or reload and then chase you until he can fire again, it's worst than spirit or huntress.

Must be bad if people don't touch them
An a other one who doesn't understand the issue. While the match making is shittier than ever, the community is also more toxic. It's one thing to have a bad match up, it's an other to be t-bagged during the entire game and being told lot of stupid stuff at the end of said game.
Also the red rank killer I've been playing against tonight all told me they barely ever face red rank survivor... Before I taught there were just not enough red rank killer but it seem there are enough it's just the match making being worst than I expected.

As if survivors choose who they are matched with. Why should they play worse just because they might have been matched with a lower skilled player?
Blame BHVR for making Killer so stressful and unfun for so many players that few actually play it cinsustently compared to survivor. Finding a match as survivor takes forever.
We don't blame survivor for being good, we complain because the match making is ######### and on top of it survivor BM us. How are we supposed to have fun if BHVR troll us and 4/5 of the community treat us like #########?
I get insta queue as yellow rank killer vs 3 rank 1 and 1 rank 2 survivor. Then I switch for survivor because my friend is online, we get a full purple lobby except the killer is rank 1 SMH.
-
How can a killer abuse bloodlust? By the time you get BL3 you can literally have 3 survivor doing 3 gen on their own.
"(since everyone has times when they have bad matches)" About 2/3 of my match as a yellow/green rank killer is against 4 or 3 red rank survivor. The changes the OP propose would only help killer vs survivor that are way better at the game, it wouldn't change fairer match since most killer don't need BL unless they're chasing someone way better than them.
"Should take more time to gain and/or only give one level of speed buff to the killer while in chase." Most maps favor survivors and there are still some pretty strong loops especially in older maps so I beg to question, do you really have ton of hours in this game or you're just a survivor main?
-
I'm yellow rank at killer and I constantly face red and purple rank survivor who not only bully me but also BM me during the entire game. At this point I'd rather wait a whooping 30min for a balance match than having 8match in 1h and face better player all the time. I'm on PC by the way.

Sometime you reveal him when you're behind a wall and sometime you don't reveal him while sitting in his face. Sometime it favour him sometime the survivor.

Cause many Killer Mains (like Survivor mains) want their side to be overpowered and dominate the other? Just reading people making excuses why Killers should 3-4K every match proves how out of touch with reality some players are.
The game over the years has seen some pretty massive Survivors nerfs and reworks that favor Killers. Many Killers have been made a lot stronger than what they were years ago with a few exceptions being Legion and Nurse. Meanwhile Hag, Trapper, Freddy, and Wraith have all turned out stronger than their old selves. And Doctor is coming out next and yet the Killer Mains still play the Victim card. If the developers were sucking up to the Survivors for the Doctor rework... he wouldn't be reworked. He is like a C-D Tier Killer that is rare and people hate the static/laughs/checks/etc of him. His rework is benefiting Killers mains a lot more than Survivor mains since now he will be used more often on rework/rift and possibly be stronger which means he will stick around more.
The amount of people who get salty over 1-2 Survivors escaping cause of DS/Hatch/BT/DH is also pretty huge. It's like "Look at this match I 3K'd but David barely escaped via hatch using DH to Key open the Hatch. This shouldn't happen to me." type mentality.
It's funny how survivor think they are entitle to escape and a balanced game should be a 2k... Yeah but no. To down a survivor you have to outplay him and yet there are still many perks to help a survivor when he make a mistake. I'm not saying a balanced game should be a 4k, but it's BS to only have a 2k when you outplay survivor just because of combined BT/DH/DS/Adrenaline or keys.
