Could do with an add on with makes his chainsaw silent during charge. There was a bug where it was silent and it was fun to jump out of nowhere and chainsawing someone's face off as I insideous around the corner

You know what bayblades are? He needs an ultra rare which lets him bounce from wall to wall gaining speed and for a longer duration like a bayblade battle.

I picked up dbd the week it released on console. I feel like pc players are seen as the only ones to have supported the game from the beginning. I'm like "erm excuse me... I've supported dbd from the beginning too"
That's not to say I'm as worthy of an exclusive cosmetic. I just feel like the players that have been here a long time get nothing in return for loyalty. Devotion means nothing.

Considering the basement is a safe place to go when there's no one hooked in there I don't see why it should offer better loot
Why not have it more dangerous then?

Personally I think Freddy's sleep should take longer to transition but last all game. Like how if you move or do gens while sick you become broken, if you move too fast and tire yourself or do a boring gen you become more sleepy.
To wake up you crouch in place and your vision goes black so you can't see anything. This should take about 30 seconds in total.
Freddy can still run your sleep timer up while being in chase. Going too slow or too fast will tire you making your sleep meter increase but walking at walking speed will keep sleep progress stable until you decide to work a boring gen and get put to sleep quickly.

The same criticism is being repeated over and over again because you can't accept it. It makes sense, plenty of people have given you valid reasons, which you essentially counter with "you're wrong because I say so" which just makes you sound like an unhappy child who can't handle being told no.
I always say you're wrong then follow up with a reason unlike you. You ignore my response and repeat your point again asif I said nothing.

Pig needs a rework of her add-ons and having a rbt on must be more dangerous.
Maybe if rbt are not time based but movement based like the plagues sickness. Repairing a gen with a rbt on will speed up your death.
There are a few ways to go with it if she was reworked a little bit

Someone can't handle criticism
When it's sensical I can. When it's nonsense repeated over and over again then that's not criticism. It's just arrogance, as you're showing right now.
-
What if once a rbt trap is on you it's there for good. Looking through boxes stops and resets your timer. If someone pops a gen as you stop the timer you're fine. This is because there is a 40 second cool down once the timer is stopped.

I don't know why so many people downvoted my idea. You think the basement chest is perfect?
It should be a special chest which does something different and fancy.
-
I don't get why a lot of you complain when a new killer comes out and whinge saying it's a Myers clone or a bad version of Billy. Why are you shutting out new ideas and opportunities for creativity.
What will you do if the killer after GhostFace is a killer who also has a knife and runs at you or throws spears at you rather than hatchets or sets traps you get stuck in? You will complain saying it's the same killers but with a reskin. A lot of you will mass hate the game and review bomb in protest for running out of ideas.
Why are so many of you so against hearing new ideas. Genuine criticism is fine but to say it's a bad idea is wrong. The main issue is whether it fits and how complimentary the killer design could be towards the Alien Franchise.
And to that one person who told me to watch the movies because apparently there is never a baby Xenomorph, then you are wrong there is a baby Xenomorph. That was an example and we would want the classic Xenomorph in game.
Also to the other guy saying the Alien plot makes no sense especially with the most recent movies. That's because they focused on how an Android is evil and they didn't want to just focus on the Xenomorph too much.
I might be mistaken but I think there's a couple of Alien movies in production (Alien 5, Prometheus 2?) It would be great to see an Alien chapter release alongside the next movie, which will be about 3/4 years away.
If you don't want the alien license, I think having an original killer who is a creature manufactured by the entity is a good route to go.
You can't impress everyone but I know a lot of you lie to yourself a lot of the time saying you really like something but spout out all negative things about it.

Why would it want to grow its own Killer when it can just keep getting Killers from Earth or getting Survivors that, according to the lore, will eventually become Killers themselves?
You honestly think the supply of Killers across history is an issue for the Entity?
The entity created a perfect organism that can kill more effectively than...a legion and weak killers like that. Also lore wouldn't be lore if it didn't make sense. Alien would make sense. I'm not explaining why again.
-
@TAG said:

None of that explains WHY the Entity would bring an alien into its realm, though.
The entity might have grown so it might want to make its own killer creature perfect organism whatever you want to call it.
Think of it like supply and demand. The entity needs a way to maintain and grow by sacrificing survivors.
The entity breeds Xenomorphs. The Xenomorphs see the entity as it's creator and obeys it.
Breeding Xenomorphs is the entitys way of being able to keep up with killing enough survivors to grow and grow.
There are an infinite supply of Xenomorphs but a limited amount of other killers the entity could corrupt or whatever. It would be a smart move by the entity.

you dont really understand have you read the lores and listen the devs said along time ago someone mentioned if alien will be in this game they simple answer its no the thing its this game its killers that were humans and became killers and they have theyre own lore of how they enter in the realm for alien its different story how a alien can be in a game of slash horror game but go on "DEFEND" the alien since he wont be in the game would just destroy the lore of this game
I personally think they make the lore up as they go, because it's easy to add another piece to it. It's not a very deep lore and if you're saying the dbd lore cannot fit with Alien then you're wrong because it can easily.
I don't see why everyone seems so threatened by the suggestion of a licensed killer cropping up.

One specific build is not reflective of a perks use
You cannot say a perk is bad if you don't utilise it.
-
@ClogWench said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/467285#Comment_467285
No one runs the perk as is because it's weak. Weakening it slightly and making it base kit would hardly make it OP
Territorial imperative is the first perk on so many bubbas
-
@ClogWench said:
It's not exploiting it though? The point is to make going in the basement a risk because you're going into the killers territory
You would get killers waiting for a save and then going straight after them especially with nurse and faster killers..
Territorial imperative would make a great passive perk on leather face
-
@ClogWench said:
I've always felt the basement should have a built in Territorial Imperative. If not the notification, at least the aura. Make the basement somewhere you don't want to go instead of it being safe(it's dangerous if someone is hooked cause the killer has reason to go in there. Otherwise it safe cause the killer never goes down there). Make the basement dangerous and make the chest worth it
So many killers would exploit that. Wait for the notification and bam... another one down in the basement.
You're on the right lines though.

My issue with a Xenomorph is not a gameplay one or a practical one, but a thematic one.
Have you seen the movies? How the initial alien was created? And the settings other than space that the movies were set?
You know the game Alien isolation wasn't directly based off of an alien movie, it had it's own story based 17 years after the first Alien movie was set. Therefore you can create an Alien Chapter and mould it to fit dbd. Whether that's a Egg being studied in a research centre on earth and a facehugger being laid by it which ends up infecting a scientist to create the Xenomorph killer.
It can work in so many ways.
The entity can imitate a setting so a spaceship isn't a step in the sci-fi area.
-
You could even give every survivor a motion tracker so they know where the killer is when they pull it out.
Would be the only killer to address the difference between solo v swf players. They all have the knowledge. People are desperate for something different and new yet you try so hard to attack any idea made.

Gonna be really honest with you that's a terrible idea. Like it could work as it's own game but in Dead by Daylight? Absolutely not.
An idea which I butchered up in 2 minutes is a bad idea? It was an example showcasing how the Xenomorph can have a different playstyle from every other killer.
Gonna be honest with you and those asking questions which I have already addressed. You're not being constructive, you're being incredibly picky for no reason.

The baby xenomorph was a bad example. And the killer should be able to at least be slightly resisted by the Survivors. No one in the cast is equipped to last 3 seconds with a xenomorph
Which is where killer design plays it's part.
Another example, survivors start with a flare. You search supply boxes to refill flares. Max flares is 2 (killer add on effects capacity and length of flare) Flares can be used to either blind or slow down the movement speed of the Xenomorph when nearby. Xenomorph can destroy pallets instantaneously with a charge attack.
This example being one where you are forced to play aggressively as survivor to keep the Alien at bay. If the Alien catches you without means to defend yourself you're in trouble. He will cocoon you and will be able to be morid in your cocoon by a facehuggers which bursts out your stomach .
-
So basically you have to have a bullyable killer in order for it to be in the game. The baby Xenomorph was an example because you fail to understand how flexible the idea is.
-
Also if an Alien Chapter did happen, you could have an android (from one of the movies) as survivor. Prestige for this survivor could be covered in white liquid as their blood is white. Would be cool.
-
You could have a baby Xenomorph which doesn't have overpowering strength and if it thinks the entity created it, it obeys it. Happens in the recent alien movie when the android breeds the alien. Lorewise it fits.
Could eventually grow and develop to be feral and really advanced but there are always ideas steaming from ideas.

You can't look at people giving valid reasons for why it wouldn't fit and then just act like they missed something. A xenomorph would be cool but it really doesn't work in DbD for a number of reasons.
"A Xenomorph doesn't fit" isn't a valid reason when many comments here explain why it can and would fit if the license was acquired.
You just refuse to accept something which other people want is possible.

No one wants Alien in this game man. It wouldn't seem right. It just doesn't work.
Couldn't disagree more.
I think you as well as many others think hating on other ideas makes you seem to know best.

Seems like someone thinks they can downvote and not read or understand anything that's been said.
An Alien Chapter could work. If you think it doesn't fit whatsoever then why comment at all, if you read you can understand why it can fit. You just hate the idea because you can.
-
Plus if we want a new game mode. A Xenomorph could be a killer which thrives in that game mode.
Imagine a battle royale where it's 1 Xenomorph Vs 100 survivors or something. Would be fun.
Just a basic example, I feel they could do a lot with an Alien license.
-
Alien has tons of environments. You can easily make one which fits into the game.
There's a prison, spaceship, labs, alien planet, Antarctica, crash sites, wheat fields, and others I can't remember.
We do have current maps which hold similarities to a potential alien map.
-
I went to the hospital a few weeks ago and as I sat in the waiting room a Clown ran past chucking bottles at a small Asian lady.
-
Vote up and vote down to be replaced with bad killer main and bad survivor main buttons.
-
I think the stun on a missed frenzy hit is a little too much. Other than that I'm satisfied with legion. He's not great but we've had great killers who have exceeded expectations so it kinda balances out.

No. Please.
No Alien, no Predator.
The guys making the awful movies in the last years have already done a great job making those creatures and their lore a complete mockery of what they were in the beginning.
Please don't make them part of this cartoony chase circus.
Then surely... There's nothing to lose if the movies have disappointed recently.
Anything new and different is a great idea. Predator and Alien fit that gap. They got the rights to a terminator killer in deathgarden. Why not get it here?
-
There's a difference between another chance and getting lucky.
I'm sick of second chances I want to risk everything and either win or lose sometimes.
Dbd is kinda like you lose try again you lose you lose yay you win.

I actually have a fully flesh out non-human killer, with perks, lore, add-ons and everything. Survivor is like 75% done. I'd like to share it someday but IDK with the way people around here react to "new ideas", as my killer has some things no other killer has. Killer would also likely be stronger than Nurse but significantly harder to play at the same time, and there are some hard counters built in to allow fair counter play for survivors.
I'm curious as to what you've come up with. Every idea is a good idea. You seem really excited about yours so it must be really good. Get it right and I'm sure a few of us would love to see your idea chapter.

Spoilers to Alien movies below!!!
So in the movies the first Alien was made when an Engineer (people who created earth) was infected with an Alien parasite. The Alien was born and it spread
Technically the entity could release the parasite into a realm and cause an infection to someone thus creating a Xenomorph and fitting completey with both the game and the movies lore.
-
I'm being optimistic, they have the technology. I guess only time will tell. I wouldn't be complaining if it ever happened.
-
I think if they bind the dbd lore with alien lore it would make sense however it might look odd.
I know I as well as many others would be buying everything to do with anything like this.
I hope it's something the powerful dbd people acknowledge because it would be a insane to have a full horror cast of killers to choose from.
Thanks for the quick reply too.
-
So it's possible 😀.
Take that all you doubters.
It can fit, just ask Matt *crosses fingers*
-
I mean the entity pulls towards it so, it doesn't need to be a spaceship map. Maybe a crashed spaceship in a forest or something instead.
-
I'm just wondering whether they would go crazy and make an exception if they did secure a massive license like Alien.
Could it be something they're thinking about until they are more capable of creating it and working the idea to its potential. Or could it be an idea thrown out completely because it doesn't fit dbd.
-
I think survivors should always start the game next to each other.
*The entity hates you, THE ENTITY IS THE WORLD*

I meant, If your ideas always receive mostly negative feedback, the problem lies with your ideas.
My idea threads get a surprisingly good response. I've noticed people here are fearful for change but desperately crave it. Hard combination to please.
However there are always a few people who appear from nowhere with like 12 posts telling me 'bad idea' when they refuse to even acknowledge and understand anything I'm saying.
'I think killers should be able to damage window vaults to prevent fast vaults'
10 seconds later - "dumb idea, killers are already op"
That's the dumb criticism I get back.
-
For the record I think endgame is fine, in fact I really like it BUT I feel like it's going to get torn down and tinkered into 5 second gate opening times or something. Which is bad

No matter what you come up with, it will never please everyone. However, if your ideas always receive negative feedback, the problem isn't the people replying - the problem is your ideas are just bad.
That's unfair and you know that.
Recently I was talking about how an Alien chapter would work in the game and I would be hounded saying it's not true to dbds lore and non humanoid killers don't work.
There's no reason to support their claim yet I have to accept it's a bad idea when it's not.
Some people in this forum want to see the game die and I wonder why they contribute in something they don't care about.

It's not needed though. A lot of Survivors just feel entitled to the hatch because they're so used to it being a free escape. The way it is currently is fine. If the survivor finds it first they win. If the killer finds it first, the survivor still has a chance. They have more opportunity to win than the killer does already
Needed - nerfed Predictive text is dumb
It's gonna get nerfed
-
Whenever I come up with any idea there are always those who would rather not have anything new added to the game ever.
Just a general trend I see and encounter whenever I have ideas.
