Wait what? This perk isn't even active while in dying status... It is worse than I thought

How much time do you have on this game? what rank are you in both survivor and killer?
(yes this is needed information for this sort of debate)
What radius are you thinking off? its kinda important and has to be defined anyway should the devs go with the plan.
What happens when survivors are close by the hook and the killer knows/sees this?
What does this matter for killers who have ways of returning in seconds (spirit / hag / nurse / (huntress in a way) / hillbilly / Oni)
What if you are in the basement? this is kinda related to the radius thing.
Honestly personally I think the solution more lies in rewarding not doing it or relieving some of the "suffering" the survivors have at the hand of a camping killer, then trying to find mechanics to punish it for killers.
Killers are not in the power position in this game, doing more to stop them from being able to do anything will most likely just result in less and less killers overall (heck many will probably go on strike merely because any sort of nerf was applied towards the killer side) meaning just longer and longer queue times aka no games for anyone.
I am very near 1k hours, I used to play killer only in the beginning but now surv (rank 7) only, so let's say around 40%/60% hours spent in each, respectively.
Radius can be only made accurate after testers try and see, but let's say 6 metres for the mechanism 2, if you mean that. The mechanism only try to prevent facecamping, it obviously needs a tune up, testing and validation, probably mixing mechanisms or providing new ones.
It would be great if any devs can provide their point of view, since facecamping is probably the top 1 issue not address and not intended to yet
As you say, rewarding should be also an ok option to add up: a killer is rewarded with extra BPs or reduced the total of BP considering an AI algorithm checking the behavior of the killer

Haste exists to make you be able to catch up to the killer to body block the hook and to bait out hits.
They could increase it a bit (meters and % wise) but i think this is a pretty good perk.
I only play as Sabotager build, 1k hours, so I am pretty sure this perk is too weak since the time you are inflicting the +20% wiggle to the carried surv is not remarkable since you must be too close to the killer.. consider the 6 metres in game feels like 3 or so. Not to mention, an +1% of extra speed to 7% does not even let you maneuver around the killer as you guys depict.
Yui's top tier perk (level 40) needs a rework, otherwise is so under powered and wont be equipped, just check the official stats of perks usage.
We are talking about fun, and this perk so far does not compliments Sabotage properly. I am not even asking to increase the wiggle buff more than a 20% or a 15/20/25%, that is fine, balanced, what I suggest is the radius of action to be more than 6 ridiculous metres.

I'm fine with the haste staus effect imo. Can help when going for body blocks.
Haste is ridiculous because you are so close at 6 meters that is like going to receive a hit for sure? and the 1% scale up makes no difference
Yui deserves something better for a lv40+ teachable perk, and increasing metres to take the 20% of wiggle speed is the right way

Deathslinger pretty much ignores the game's core mechanics and doesn't teach players much of anything to improve on or against other Killers.
Deathslinger doesn't really do looping. The odds of pallet stunning one are near zero. They just mindgame you until they quickscope through a crack, a window or on a long wall. Honestly, chases with Deathslinger come down to him whiffing shots more than they have anything to do with a survivor's skill. At best, survivors are just making his shots harder to hit, but in the end it all comes down to the Deathslinger's aim.
Deathslinger doesn't really do the terror radius thing either. It's extremely popular to run Monitor on him to get the 16m stealth radius. Even perks like Spine Chill aren't great against him because its very hard to tell how close he is because his heartbeat gives you about as much info as Freddy's dream world music. He can literally sneak up on generators and quickscope from behind a wall outside of his terror radius so there's really no reaction time for the first hit in some scenarios.
He's a cool concept and all. And I bet he'll bring a lot of new players into the game because FPS mechanics. But I don't think he really works with the established gameplay of Dead By Daylight and kinda just does his own thing.... I think there's a reason why the Devs held off on an FPS Killer for so long. Playing against Red Ranked Deathslingers feels like you loaded into a different game altogether.
he should be able to JUMP in order to shoot from higher spots like cars and make it FUN

it could be pretty cool, imagine taking the shape of the survivor currently (and last) hooked.
There could also be some cool synergy here, like as a survivor you work on a gen right after hooking someone purely so you can go monster-mode and then kick it with Pop Goes The Weasel.
Im all for it.
And obviously yeah against a well co-ordinated SWF you wont have that element of surprise but you still just have your monster mode to kill them anyway.
thanks bruh I hope this becomes true

I see a Monto fan so I present you with the concept of playing different games! Wild I know, just like the man himself, go over to Hide or Die, you are allowed to play more than one horror game!
DBD has tons of possibilities to improve and is doing no new game modes, no new items, just balance/unbalance what they got
Thanks but Hide or Die blows

They release a roadmap every year on or around the game's anniversary detailing their plans for the coming year. The game's anniversary is around mid-June, I believe, so we should expect to see a Year 5 roadmap in about six weeks or so.
k thanks bro

I like that idea but I guess many others will have issues with that.
which kind of issues?
I would even go for a 4th condition of prestige level 3! imagine how much I need a 5th slot~~
