Sure...I used them as well but old ruin is very effective in the early game and if it can stay until mid-game it will help a lot and combine that with PGTW.

Old ruin was the only way to slow the game down a bit even Totem spawns is ######### in this game it can still help even if it stays for at least 2 minutes.

If I'm not playing Hag or Freddy...I get genrushed by a bunch of genrushing Baboons, each with Prove Thyself. I put Discordance in all of my killers and go to the gen where there are more than one person on it, I found one of them and the other person ran away with SB, so I chase the other one, alas! He is a good looper and while in chase...that person with SB came back to work on the gen again while I was chasing his partner. Then another gen on the other side of the map also have two people working on it and by the time you get your first down...2 gens have already popped. It is even worst if I'm facing SWF, so well-coordinated and they split up doing gens on every side of the map and voila! The game is done in just 10 minutes.

They refuse to believe that they’re just not that skilled. If they can’t counterplay using the sam basic boring techniques they always have, killer is OP. How dare DBD force mindless survivors to try to play smart. This isn’t a DS or PH issue. They have this same issue with Nurse and Spirit....any killer that forces a survivor to play smart instead of letting them do the one thing they’ve learned in 4 years.

It's guessing for both sides man, that's why it's unfun. The window to hit a punishment is so small that a PH can't hesitate to see if you're gonna fault or throw a pallet, they have to guess. Same thing applies to survivors, they have to guess whether or not he's faking the punishment or if he's gonna commit.
If he is already holding his power and see me actually vaulted the window or pallet he release his power because I'm on animation lock. Even more easier for him to see me vaulting the window or pallet if I have an item on my hand, if I vault he knows because the item disappear, so he just release his power and hit me through the window or pallet.
He is kind of a combination of Nurse, DeathSlinger and Huntress...range killer with power than can go through walls, window, and pallets.
Also I would like to see the people here that gives expert advise on how to play against PH and DS...can you post a video of you playing against any of the said killers? It's easy to sound cocky when you got no proof.

She is literally cancer. I can take on Nurse or instant teleport Hag any day but not this cancerous of a killer that is Spirit. People say shes hard to master, really? Even a Baboon can master her in 10 seconds. Thank goodness I found a way to dodge lobbies.

Excuse me? Were you dropped on your head? People use those, including myself, to allow resolutions such as 1800p coupled with gpu overridden scaling to maintain solid 60 fps with max settings on specific games. As well as using custom resolutions enabled by control panel for Vorpx. If they did that I hope the game would die and rid us of thats ort of bs and get our custom resos back. I'd take the custom resos over the game any day of the week, 52 weeks a year. How dare you demand they cripple some peoples' custom settings for literally every other game and application out there, and remove their freedom of how they use their pc and those apps and peripherals just so you can feel good about how you play a single video game. My PC isn't a console, if you worry so much go play this on console. Talk about entilement, only on a asymmetrical would I see a comment like yours.

People seems to be taking that last comment too seriously. How can a small game developer like BHVR can make Nvidia or AMD remove the custom resolution in their drivers?

I'm also tired of being slug so that the killer can have his 4k. I see the silhouette of the other survivor sitting on top of hatch while I'm being slug I will disconnect if the killer is being greedy for his 4k and I do not care if I lost all the bloodpoints, I already P3 all my characters. Then I will see the killer cry in post-chat about me disconnecting so that the other can get the hatch, and how deserving he was to have his 4k, are you kidding me? You ambitious Baboon!

I'm not expecting them to do anything about it, since it's not exactly traceable to my knowledge. I just wanted to give an insightful look into how stretched resolution actually works since I had been using it for quite some time!
Streched Resolution gives you a slight advantage but not unfair or game breaking. I only use it because it gives me a huge FPS boost but that's it.

What is a Survivor meta perks can really do against Spirit?
Exhaustion perks like Lithe or Sprint Burst gets countered by her Phase Walk, put in Mother-Daughter Ring for good measure.
Dead Hard? Wait it out.
Iron Will? You got Stridor, put in Father's Glasses for good measure.
Decisive Strike? Wait it out or just eat it early, now they have one useless perk slot. Phase Walk again to quickly down their ass.
Borrowed Time? You can hit the unhook, he gets the speed boost, now you use Phase Walk to quickly down him again, and slug him or just eat DS (I always do).
Unbreakable? Sure. Let them use it, now it's out of the way...let's begin again shall we?

How about pre-made 4 man SWF on voice com, all with Object of Obsession? All are good loopers, you gonna tunnel each one of them too? What is your overal strategy in countering them? Just tunnel and camp and maybe a mori on the side? You only get lucky if they become too altruistic or too cocky but what if they played optimally?

Killer matches seems fine here. I get mixed of red and purple ranks. Only the survivor matches that is constantly throwing me down to the yellow ranks.

Some people are being toxic in-game probably becase they played this game far too long everyday, maybe 20-50 matches per day, it can burn you up causing you being stressed, tired, irritable, making you toxic. I even see Streamers played this game for straight 24 hours, seeing their transistion from being cool to salty asf #########. I know they are earning money but seems to be turning their career into into the much worst version of 9-5.
Most are just born to be ######### and there is nothing you can do about them. So if you encounter them in-game and are being toxic, teabag, bm'ing, camping, tunneling or doing all kind of shits that you think is ruining your fun, just ignore them for the rest of the game, if all of them are like these just exit or just go afk, it's not your responsibility to entertain these idiots. Why stress yourself with a bunch of strangers?
Just remember this...your health and well-being is the number one priority irl, you only playing this game for fun and pass-time (if you're not a streamer or youtuber). So if it's causing you grief, making you irritable or stress, just take a long break, or just quit the game.

I'm not surprised. There's a lot of advantage as a killer, perks and addons that counters almost if not all in the survivor's arsenal such as teleporting through walls, or hitting your throught walls, or the other one that phase during loops, putting traps in loops, so they can zone you out into the open, etc. but it is what it is. Killers needs all the help they can get right?
