buuuut. You could create a new Epic account with another email and just get DbD for free on there. Then you could at least create a custom match that way?
Yes... that could be a possibility but Im trying to think of cons having 2 accounts on pc. Like if any one of them is banned then all accounts are banned. Im not really affraid of bans, dont think Ive been ever banned before in a game.
I think linkedbehavior is mainly for crossplatforms otherwise I dont really see the use. Its actualy counterproductive since you said you cant make a custom game. Ofcourse if steam ever stops excisting... but if we are realistic its completely useless.

You can’t use the code on Epic, but if you link your Steam and Epic DbD accounts then you will have access to the killers from the expansion pack from both platforms!
That is interesting. I already bought the pack on steam without binding so I hope it will still activate afterwards. But my big concern is, if I bind the 2 accounts, will I still be able to make a custom games between those 2 for practice purpose. Thats actualy my biggest and only con I can think of having 2 accounts on same platform.
Unless... I can do dailies twice? That would be awsome.

cross play is a base function for every platform (except mobile). You can turn this on and off in the settings and don’t need a BHVR account for that.
what Steam codes are you exactly talking about? If you mean in-game codes for cosmetics etc which are given out during events then yes.
if you mean actual Steam codes for dlcs then no those are bound to Steam..

I recently joined the killers side and Im trying to repair gens myself. You dont want to be too long in there with those 4 monsters lurking around.

Interesting, as a new player myself my killer ques are double as high, I would say triple or higher even.

I think Wraith is not healthy vs mass incoming new players. To solve this problem I suggest to make him not free to play. Meanwhile to understand the killer better I decided to play him. Im having a blast btw even without addons. Today I destroyed a full premade team and got assulated in after chat.
Anything that has a massive stomp rate against new players shouldnt be promoted as f2p together with epic games advertisement.
Having said all that, Killer mains have earned my respect. I realised how taxing it is to play killers.

- Today I had a guy getting chased, he knew before getting caught that I was still on the gem he passed a sec ago. Well he led the killer straight to me...
- Or the fact that we all wanted to repair the last gem inside a building, the guy getting chased refused to leave so we can all gang up on that last gem.
- They always want to heal me on the spot when Im unhooked...
I think solo que is paradise for killers.

Interesting comments. Some would do anything to survive that game, others have a side mission from what I understand. If he didnt do the ballerina and all the other unnecessary stuff I might have went for it. Just the fact that he was standing close behind me rubbed me the wrong way as well. Perhaps he wanted to wave me goodbye. 🤡

Wraith had 57.13% in Sept. Im curious about this very stat at the moment now that epic store is promoting dbd 4free. This spam will only get worse when people start to visit forums and other tips and tricks platforms.
Whether Wraith is balanced in high elo I dont know, apparantly we dont have stats to confirm that. But we can all agree that hes a massive noob stomper and you get him 4free as well when you start the game. This combination is a big no-go.
You have to consider there is a reason why dbd went free, usualy this is done to increase game population. Wraith is not helping this case at all. You rub one guys *D* while the other 4 feel like their expierence got completely ruined. Thats a bad ratio.
Wraith is not healthy for the game is what I can confirm for the reasons I mentioned above.

I had my fun, 8 escapes in a row till the almighty Wraith had to step in. The problem Im having is that none of my teammates are able to escape either. I tried using loop but unlike others he has a nasty hitbox as well.

Wraith is so high due being so used in low MMR, in Mid to high MMR he struggles a lot agains decent survivors, specially if they carry flashlights.
Interesting, so Wraith is up there with the big boys. Your argument ofcourse lies within low mmr. Is there a graph in which they show exact stats mmr-wise? It would also help to distinguish those stats in comparison when it comes to solo que vs premades. Any killer going up against premades would have his stats skewed.

I cant say much as a new player but wouldnt it be good to give killer bonus stats vs atleast 3 premades, 4th additional small bonus? Its evenly matched where I am now, low mmr solo que, but I can imagine what a full premade team can do.

If you're after help i get on the dbd discord and find some groups to run with to teach you stuff. Dbd is not noob friendly at all.
Between MMR and queue times you could be thrown in with Killers with thousands of hours of play time, Id ask on the discord for some help to get advice well playing.
I havent seen Wraith now in 10 games. The game is much more enjoyable now.
I made 5 escapes in a row so that ratio is up again. I may look for addtional guide once I hit a wall again. I have to accept that Wraith is my kryptonite, tho neither of all the other survivers managed to escape him in my games.

Items ares used with right click (m2) by default. You should check if the item isn't depleted, items have charges that are consumed when used.
You probably had a green map which... I don't even know what it does except showing you the aura of generators you already touched within the map's range.
Don't hesitate to look at items descriptions in your lobby. If you have a friend, you can practice in private games, you will have every perks, items and addons available there.
Thanks for all the replies. I got that flahslight right out of the box. So items out of a box ingame doesnt garantee its fully charged?

Does anyone know how to use a item? I picked up a map, I read it for like 20seconds and after that I didnt know how to use it. I picked up a flashlight, pressed right/left mouse click nothing happens. Would be nice if they put all this in a tutorial. my default e button does nothing as well.

A tip is to always plan which direction you're going to run when you're working on a gen. Wraith's stealth and speed burst is useless if there's a pallet or window that's close enough to reach during the uncloak+catch up time, and unless the generator has nothing next to it it's very rare that there isn't at least something to use nearby.
You never want to drop pallets if Wraith is cloaked UNLESS he's under one and you are 100% sure you will stun him. Instead, you want to hump windows because his speed doesn't help him there.
Lastly, something many Wraiths will try to do while uncloaking is face one way and pretend they're going to go that way, and then at the last second of the uncloak face the other way and zoom around the loop to catch a survivor who's ran backwards. If you see a Wraith doing this, keep this in mind. They nerfed his speed burst so this is much easier to avoid than it sounds.
At the end of the day he is a basic killer with no special chase abilities, especially not with his speed burst being nerfed, so he's not that strong. He is very easy to play and is strong against new players though, which is why you see him a lot at lower skill brackets - but when most survivors in a team are even just competent, even the best Wraiths can't really do much. He's a little like Freddy, Doctor, Legion and Pig in that way.
Im salty as F****. Just came here right after another Wraith game followed by this thread. Hes soooooo freaking fast after that bell, its insane.
Im winning against all other killers but this guy, forget about 1/3 ratio, its going downhill fast now.
Ill try to look for a pallet or a window next to a gen. His cloak puts also pressure when he has people hanging, its always a question whether he really left or waiting to bait people saving those poor souls. I dont know man, this guy feels completely busted compared to my other expierence. Ill just try to rank up and hope higher elo doesnt play him.
Can you explain the rankings for me? I read there are grades now so the matchmaking doesnt matter really.
