T-bagging has no negative impact on the game, it only impacts people's feelings. People t-bag for a variety of reason that are not all toxic.

My power supply busted a week ago, so I couldnt play dbd since this week. Ofc it happens in the middle of the event right?
My new one will arrive tomorrow and I am really excited to return to dbd, however I did see here and there some clips of hackers on twitter and yt. I wonder how the current situation is, do you guys also saw a few the past few days? Is it increasing again? I am kinda worried... cuz I just wanna enjoy the last few event days without beeing annoyed and held hostage..
It's tough for me to really determine if they are cheating or if it's just bugs they are continuously ignored. However, recently I had a match with a Bubba that would pick people up and carry them through walls to get to a hook. There's probably no issue seen with that though.

I dont know if cuz of devs languaje not being English they explain themselves too bad or they just think we are plain stupid.
For example
NOED description.
This perk makes for a very effective comeback tool, though it falls out of favour in high skill games. We like the way NOED encourages Survivors to pre-emptively cleanse Totems, so we are not looking to weaken its direct strength. Instead, Survivors will now see the Hex Totem’s aura within 4 meters upon activation. This range increases to 24m over the course of 30 seconds.
We believe this change will keep NOED a strong choice for endgame builds, while encouraging Survivors to find the Totem and attempt that last second save.
"We like the way NOED encourages Survivors to pre-emptively cleanse Totems"
"Survivors will now see the Hex Totem’s aura within 4 meters upon activation. This range increases to 24m over the course of 30 seconds."
If you like it encourage people to cleanse totems pre emptively why you show the aura of that totem?
If you like that effect encourage surv doing totems like while Hex:Noed is in game at the start of the match each surv can see 1 dull totem aura till cleansed.
What I saw and maybe it isn't true at all is that with the rework when NOED becomes activated the killer will see the auras of all survivors until that totem is cleansed. If that is true then survivors seeing it from 4 meters then more after 30 seconds doesn't really mean anything if the killer can see survivors the whole time it's active.

It doesn't. You may want to pre-emptively cleanse a godspawn totem if you come across it, but you definitely don't want to pre-emptively cleanse anything else unless you have strong indicators that NOED is in play.
Let me just lay the situations out...
Situation A: 5 totems cleansed, killer has NOED = NOED disabled, killer loses one perk. Does also mean a loss of 70 seconds of work, so it still worked as a slowdown.
Situation B: 5 totems cleansed, killer does not have NOED = Survivors wasted 70 seconds for no gain, making it work as slowdown without taking up a perk slot.
Situation C: 1-4 totems cleansed, killer does have NOED = NOED activates in full force, survivors wasted 14-56 seconds for no gain. Survivors still have to hunt down NOED totem in post-game.
Situation D: 1-4 totems cleansed, killer does not have NOED = Survivors wasted 14-56 seconds for no gain.
Situation E: 0 totems cleansed, killer has NOED = NOED activates full force, survivors have to hunt down NOED totem in post-game, same as situation C. however this time they did not waste 14-56 seconds.
Situation F: 0 totems cleansed, killer has NOED = No time wasted, no NOED in play.
Legitimately, pre-emptively cleansing totems is the wrong move in 90% of cases. I've broken more NOEDs by leaving totems up than I have by taking them down. The way NOED is currently constructed, it just makes it a mistake to try and cleanse totems, unless the killer is practically guaranteed to have NOED.
It is a risky gamble with a 14 seconds time investment to cleanse a non-hex totem. You are more likely to lose out than to gain.
This is not a comment on NOED balance-wise, but an explanation of something the devs seem to misunderstand.
I would have to disagree with it being the wrong move. Only because I hear so much complaining about gen rushing that I'll do a 1-2 gens then look for totems just in case of NOED, which you do get bloodpoints for cleansing totems. If it turns out a killers doesn't have NOED then oh well, I'll get bloodpoints. If they do have NOED then they won't anymore. However, if I just ignored totems and did gens I'd be accused of gen rushing.

Ah I knew it, the "all change is bad" guy. They didn't increase gen speeds. They actually LOWERED them, now gens are 12% slower to repair. Generators are so insanely fast to repair that you basically need to bring slowdown and regression perks to avoid genrushing, and even then you still get genrushed.
"Every survivor meta perk decimated" are you saying that Decisive Strike in its current state is fun? BT as base kit is a nerf?? They actually buffed BT and now made it part of base kit, how is that bad in any way for Survivors? Did you actually even read the developer update patch notes at all, because they literally only somewhat decimated Spine Chill and Iron Will. If you're saying nerfing Self-Care, Spine Chill and Iron Will was this gigantic nerf that will destroy solo queue you're lying.
If you were playing DbD like Sam Fisher and avoiding chases, spamming DS right infront of the exit gates then this game is not for you. I think we're better off with less players who react negatively to a meta being SLIGHTLY, VERY SLIGHTLY nerfed and don't actually read the changelogs.
Thanks for quitting the game.
As far as decisive strike is concerned, it wasn't fun with how it was and it is made worse in the update. If decisive strike is no fun for you then maybe change your play style to where you're not tunneling to have it used on you. Something I've noticed often in the event is killers will tunnel and slug, with it looking pretty obvious they're scared a survivor has decisive strike.

Part of me wants to try BBQ with Lethal Pursuer. Or maybe just try an all-around aura-reading build with Lethal Pursuer.
I've seen alot of killers using both lethal pursuer and BBQ together. That's where distortion becomes very useful.

"I'm a survivor main for 90%"
That's when I stopped reading.... Survivor rulebook? No thanks !
What about that killer rulebook? If people would stop acting like one side is guilty of something while the other is innocent we might get somewhere.

Hello, I just made an account just for one thing as you can see the title
I'm a survivor main for 90% of the time and an average killer at best and I'm always playing solo, I don't get mad when I'm losing and I'm not celebrating like a crazy dude when I'm winning, however there's something that always pissing me off, that's right, I got tunnelled or facecamped for whatever reason, except for being toxic, I swear I'm not toxic
The thing is when a killer plays that way, not only they won't get punished but they're getting rewarded for that, taking someone out as quick as possible, teammates wasting their time leaving gens to unhook me just to get back on hook, the easiest and cheapest way to get a kill, now it's 3 vs 1 and easier match I suppose, it's so unfair when a killer like me tries to hook everyone and end up getting 1k but the other gets ez 3k spending the least amount of skill and win
They say when you see a camping Bubba just do gens but I'm afraid I can't do 3 gen in 2 minutes he already got 1k and he's seeking for the 2nd kill using HEX:NOED and do you think was it really a fun match?
Shouldn't killers actually earn their kills by using their skill, I mean I believe a camper/tunneller doesn't deserve 1k
Playing as survivor requires way more skill and just one wrong move means death meanwhile camping/tunnelling are easiest way to get someone killed
I'm not taking it too serious but I'm trying to have fun how am I suppose to have fun when I'm dead on my first hook? and how that killer is satisfied getting one kill while he barely even tried? is he actually more of a skilled or what? I can't even understand how is that even fun for killer, this also creates more toxic environment if that's makes sense, DS is meant to delays the inevitable and not stopping the killer, Same goes for BT (unless if you're in end game collapse situation and these perks are life saviours) please consider punishing that playstyle by some rules or otherwise remove penalties camping/tunnelling is just as bad as DCing, both are meant to ruin the fun except campers/tunnellers/ getting rewarded instead of penalized
I'm not that much of a jerk, BHVR can buff killers anyway they want in the cost of punishing Camping/Tunnelling
All I want is to have fun and if I lose, I lose while me and the killer both tried our best, and I would cheer that killer for being better
My main point is: Unskilled play shouldn't lead the killer to win at all, Imagine me being bad and keep tunnelling/camping and winning but if there's going to be a rule that's stopping from doing that I'll be forced to get better instead of being bad
Camping/tunnelling should be legal when there's no gen left to patrol, that's understandable but otherwise it shouldn't be legal
I hope you guys can understand me, good luck and peace out
It's a dying point to make because there's always some for of an excuse to play like that. For example, gen rushing, tea bagging, flashlights, etc. the list could literally go on for probably days. The thing is, especially in this event people from what I've seen are trying to do gens as fast as possible because they're getting tunneled or facecamped. It's really a never ending cycle that no one is willing to break. That's not to say survivors aren't playing like garbage I've seen that too where a killer actually tries to farm and survivors just complete gens then leave. Everyone can honestly do better

The platform is PC and PS5.
The wiggle bar is 100% yet the survivor can't wiggle off.
To reproduce because it has occurred twice today, survivor must be carried and wiggled about 40%, then the killer must drop the survivor. In both cases, the killer leaves and then comes back to pick up the survivor. The bar reaches or is already at 100%. Then observe that survivor can't wiggle off and the killer continues his carry.
It has occurred twice today. One with a Legion and another with Cenobite.
It happens on PS4 too

Yes, but I'd say it mostly applies to the people who bust out gens asap, then come to the forums to cry because they didn't cleanse any totems then got downed by noed.
That's exactly why I do 1-2 gens then begin my search for totems.
-
I can definitely understand why survivors are gen rushing when killers are saying they're playing sweaty to get 2 hooks on everyone. Survivors don't really know that's their plan so when they see a killer play like that I'm sure they're thinking that the killer is just trying to kill everyone as fast as possible and the only way to counter that is to try and escape as fast as possible.

Fair enough. I think your way is the best way. I usually like to play like that too, but when I get to the point where I'm playing back to back sweat sometimes I have to throw on something to match lol
I understand that but personally I don't try and match the sweatiness because it just contributes more to the cycle of sweaty gameplay that ruins the fun for everyone. Which seems to be the goal of doing it considering people have been bragging about playing extremely sweaty just to ruin someone else's experience.

Always kinda makes me wonder when people get angry over someone not playing ‘nice’.
This game is about brutally murdering people in a nightmare realm.
“I hate it when I get brutally murdered in an impolite way.”
I’m starting to think some people just can’t handle the violence that this game involves. Something happens in game that they don’t like and bam they immediately take it personally as if it had happened in the real world.
It is possible to walk away from every game of DBD and not be pissy about it.
All it takes is being an adult who understands it’s only a game, one that can be played viciously due to its theme and the person on the other side probably isn’t a monster purely out to ruin your fun.
I would agree with most of what you said with the exception of the last part, especially during this event. People are playing like someone hurt them and they need to take that out on someone else.

I mostly agree but you cant just expect players to lie down. Unfortunately what I've taken away from this thread and how people have acted. Is never expect chill players
I don't recall saying anything about expecting players to lie down or expecting chill players for that matter. However, if the consensus is everyone is being sweaty then maybe the mentality shouldn't be that since one side is sweaty then the other side is going to play sweaty. This event could be great if everyone took a step back and calmed down but it will never happen. Way too many have some strange desire to absolutely ruin the experience of this event for everyone they encounter. I can only speak for myself when I say I'll continue to play the same way I always do which is to have fun and get bloodpoints. I make a point to not do anything sweaty like gen rushing. If that gets me killed every match, then so be it. At the end of the day it's just a video game and shouldn't be taken so serious. I guess I'm in a very small minority of people that wants to have fun and others to have fun too.
-
It's not just nurses sluggling it's essentially every single killer slugging for a 4k, tunneling people to death, and at the end of the match only 1 or 2 gens have been done, many times none. If everyone is playing sweaty then it's everyone, but from my experience I haven't come across a sweaty survivor yet, just sweaty killers. I hate gen rushing but at this point it seems to be the only way to get any bloodpoints. This event has surely brought out the worst in alot of players and it only seems to be getting worse with the mentality of, "If they're going to play sweaty then I am too". We can all be better than that.

Keep in mind the goal of these perk changes is to encourage more perk variety. Prove Thyself is not in the top 10 most used perks
I used to use Prove Thyself all the time but the past couple of months it seems kind of pointless to use. However, during this Sweatfest Event, I'm using it more just to have a chance at some bloodpoints.

I know what you mean.
I'm fine with camping and tunneling, so long as it's not at 5 gens or a basement bubba, but slugging for the 4k... come on? at least have 1 survivor get a mask by closing the hatch, you've already won anyway.
Likewise you can teabag me and click your flashlights all you want, but chain stuns and crouching infront of me yet completely out of sight, denying even a single hook, while someone else blasts gens... can I have some BP too please? Considering I was going to let you all go anyway...
My best games have been as killer, where I've been able to 2-hook everyone and then let them all go. 30k+ BP and a mask for everyone.
That seems to be a rarity honestly.

Yeah this anniversary event has been the worst one (experience wise). No clue why! If we somehow end up in a match, I won't intentionally do anything to make it bad for you (no matter which role you play). And yeah, I hope so.
I agree, this is by far the worst event yet for gameplay. It could really be an awesome, fun event if everyone could just relax and play instead of what is happening. It's weird to me that 5 Frightful Flans will be played and the flood gates open for sweat.
-
During the day the matches were pretty good for the most part, just a couple sweatfests here and there. Tonight though, it's all sweatfests and I need a life jacket to keep from drowning. It also doesn't help that just about every match tonight 1 person has either DC'd the first time they've gotten downed or put themselves in phase 2 on first hook and pretty much give up. I can only hope the games get better.
-
It's definitely rough during this event and it seems like so many people just have so much animosity towards everyone else to the point they feel the need to try and ruin the experience for everyone else. A majority of the matches I've had I've needed a life raft for all the sweat. Hopefully it gets better
