  • You do realise that the killer shack is the strongest loop in the game, hence why it's sometimes called the god loop? Just because you can't run it well or the players you see running it do it poorly doesn't mean that the loop is bad. It means that players are bad.

Not bait, the proof is in the stats. He's overperforming.

You do realise that even the devs said that the stats are unreliable right? I don't get how many people cling to those stats since its been agreed upon by the community that they are basically useless...

Freddy is a low rank stomper and guess where all of those statistics came from? LOW RANKS. The deva shouldn't be balancing around rank 20's but high ranks since that's where the players actually know what they're doing.

It's not about getting downed, it's about him being able to cover the entire map in a matter of seconds indiscriminately. Maybe if he had a small cool down on his chainsaw, he would have to make some decisions about the map vs downing. Without a cool down, he has unlimited discretion and can basically teleport across the map faster than anyone.

    OK, number 1:

Map pressure makes or breaks a killer. If they can't get to you from one side of the map to another in a good amount of time, then they simply won't find you at all and they are considered a bad killer.

    Number 2:

Billy has a cool down on his power. It's 3 seconds long which is enough for his purpose. He's supposed to be this 'gotta go fast' killer that get from one place to another quickly, hence his ability name 'chainsaw SPRINT'. Having a really long cool down in his power defeats it's purpose of creating map pressure. If you can't play against him heres some tips. Don't throw pallets down instantly at strong loops, jungle gyms make his power useless, instead of going for a 360, just do a 180 and dead hard if you need to, and stop whining about balanced killers on the forums. Kinda getting annoying at this point.

  • Oh look, another survivor main that thinks they should be the power role. It's always funny listening to baby survivors cry because they watch one 360 montage and whine that they aren't gods at the game the second they pick it up. Just get a grip bro, it's not the end of the world if killers get their first buff since the undetectable status came into the game. I bet you cried at that too, didn't you?

  • I think that there should be a way to appeal a dc penalty. They could do something like League of Legends lag report that basically checks your connection at the time of the dc and if its below a certain average the ban gets removed. This would help the people with less than optimal Internet as the information would be recorded throughout the game, let's say every 2 minutes or so, and if someone dc's for no reason and they try to appeal their ban by saying it was lag, they wouldn't be able to as they would've had a perfectly good connection and the ones that did lag out would have a way to keep playing even after they crash and getting a penalty.

  • No matter how many statistics you put in, no matter how many good points supported with evidence you say, no matter how many community agreed upon things you mention, there will always be an imbalance in this game for various reasons. This game a a new type of sick and it pains me to say that because I do love it. There is so much wrong with it we can't just start saying 'fix this, fix that' we need to take it one step at a time and that won't happen overnight. It will take a long time to get this game to a place that even remotely resembles a balanced state. All we can do is wait and see if the devs are actually paying attention or not and pray that they fix this game one day. It's all up to them and they can't be picking favourites otherwise this will be the end of Dead By Daylight. But that is just my two cents and I may be wrong. Maybe the devs are secretly planning a massive update to the game that will fix it, or they are making a new game to draw everyone's attention away. There's no way to know for sure. All we can do is wait and see.

  • This is the problem with people. They play for a week, a single week and they get to rank 8 by just doing gens and not knowing how to loop, avoid getting hit and mind games. The doctor doesn't need a rework, you just need more than a week of experience to learn how to play the game.

  • Spine chill. You get a warning if the killer is coming in your direction while they only know you are somewhere near by. If you get good with it you can make some big brain out plays with it and flex on your friends with how good you are

I think of it as a good thing. It’s forcing killers to get better. I used to use ruin a year ago then I stopped to challenge myself and from then on I never used ruin unless I was playing trapper hag etc. but the main purpose is to make more survivors play the game since we have a shortage of survivors lately. But I love that they took away a crutch. Look crutches are bad either implement them into the base game or change it altogether and they did fine with changing it. Now if only they could take double BP from BBQ and change exhaustion perks so you have to earn to use them or something or nerf the hell out of them and the game will be in a way better place.

Shortage of survivors? Thats probably the dumbest thing I've heard so far. Ruin wasn't a crutch. In case you didn't know, a crutch is something that helps new players do well but makes experienced players do worse. Ruin was a borderline necessity for most killers if you even wanted to get close to getting a kill. A d before you say anything, no, I don't use ruin (don't have hag). If it's player numbers you want to address then it's killers that have dwindled down in numbers because noone is having fun going against survivors that blast through gens apart from the survivors that moaned about ruin for so long, which I'm assuming includes you.

  • That's my problem with this game. Every time a change comes around that makes 1 killer better to play as, there's always survivors that want to just bully killers so they beg for nerfs just so they can keep their fragile ego intact. How about instead of begging for nerfs, you get used to the changes, realise that you're not supposed to escape every single game and not cry on the forums annoying most people in here with 1 post. Jesus christ man, grow up.

  • I just find it kind of pathetic how some people insult others because they lost at a game. Bro just chill you probably pipped anyways.

  • Unbreakable is fine, he's just an angry boi

You seem to think people use DH to escape a hit?!?!?!

Dead hard is used to reach unreachable windows or loops, and to extend chases on already strong loops like god windows, nobody uses it to miss a hit unless they are extremely out of position.

On its perk description im pretty sure it says you can use it to dodge a hit. That's what it's s used for. The dash to a window or pallet is just a bonus. And like some people said, just bait it out. It's not that hard if you realise all you have to do is not swing...

  • People here are moaning that they go to sleep too easily without realising that if the time to fall asleep was longer freddy would be a lot worse, the fake pallets are an add on so you can only use them if for one game if you have the specific add on, snares are kind of similar to trapper traps but you don't waste as much time putting them down. Yes freddy is in a good spot right now and I don't see what's wrong with that. If you don't like going against a certain killer, tough #########. We all dislike playing against certain killers and instead of moaning about it on the forums we learn how to play against them, no matter how annoying they might be.

  • This isn't a nerf it's basically a rework on his power. The changes aren't even that bad since now you can have a super tiny terror radius with monitor and you can even get some gen grabs of you're lucky. The static blast is a cool concept especially if the survivors 3 gen themselves as you can just wait for it to come back, use it and know where everyone is. I like the changes they made to doc and feel like he's gonna be more fun to play. The 3 second delay between shocking and swinging is a bit annoying though.

  • I wouldn't have a problem with it if the totem spawns weren't so terrible. If BHVR just made it so that ruin spawns at a random location AWAY from gens and survivor spawns it would fine because they would have to actively go look for it. If the new ruin gets cleansed in the first few seconds of the game then you have a massive disadvantage as you only have 3 perks for the whole game.

  • Honestly, the only thing I think that needs changing is the reveal since the conditions for it are incredibly obscure and difficult to meet. You could be walking around looking for a gen and then BOOM! Ghostface revealed and you're in a chase. If I knew a way to fix this I would suggest one but hey, he can be fun to play I guess.

  • I'm just happy that people will be punished for rage quitting when they get downed once. It gets pretty annoying after a while.
